The Democratic Nominee Is....!

The first woman in U.S. history to be the nominee of her party. Hillary Clinton says that it's not over until the final primaries. Clinton is knocking Bernie Sanders out the park.

Yesterday, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton officially sealed the deal. She is the presumptive Democratic nominee and it's certainly pissed off her opponent U.S. senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

A first in U.S. history, a woman will represent a national party for president. Seems like the Democratic Party is the party of progress. The Democrats nominated and the American people elected twice the first Black president. Barack H. Obama was a senator from Illinois when he declared his bid for president in 2007. He was facing Hillary Clinton, then a senator from New York and former First Lady of the United States for the Democratic nomination.

It was one of the most fiercest primaries in the country. Of course, this is a fierce primary as well.

Sanders who's facing calls to end the race isn't going away. He believes that the superdelegates endorsing Clinton was a mistake and the progress is "rigged".

His stubbornness is also a factor to why this isn't going his way. He managed to push the Democrats further to the left.

The president is about to formally endorse Clinton after the six primaries.

President Barack Obama is eager to campaign. He believes that the focus on Congress being inept and Donald Trump's bombastic rhetoric are keys to helping the Democrats win back the senate and maybe the White House.

Republican Donald Trump is facing controversy after he singled out a judge for being a "Mexican".

Trump is facing a federal lawsuit for his defunct Trump University. He singled out Gonzalo P. Curiel for being a hater and wants his supporters to troll him. Of course, threatening a federal judge could land you in federal time out for years.

Republicans are calling for Trump to end the feud with Curiel. No signs of letting it go from the Trump campaign.

California, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, New Jersey, and New Mexico are today.

Clinton told her supporters that it's not over! She said that everyone continues to vote.

California and New Jersey are nail biters. Clinton leads by four against Sanders. Matter of fact, if she blowouts the six states, she will be the official nominee.

Right now, Clinton, Sanders and Trump are campaigning in each state to seal the deal.

Conservative Outrage Over Obama Giving Unemployed Workers Overtime Pay!

Job approval is on the rise.

Looks like President Barack Obama bitch slapped the unproductive Congress again.

And it seems like the Republicans and conservatives are having another temper tantrum over this.

The president signed an executive order today signaling that effective December 1, 2016, any worker who is making less than $47,000 a year in wage earnings will be eligible for overtime pay. only 7% of the working force gets overtime pay. Most Americans agree with this idea. Salaried workers will be eligible for overtime.

Cue the conservative outrage.

The unproductive Congress didn't pass any legislation that would help the middle class. The minimum wage hasn't been risen in ten years. If the Congress would have passed legislation that would adjust the cost of living to match the wages earned, things would be better for the working class.

The Republicans sit on their high horses complaining about the economy being in the tank. They complain that the working class isn't working under Obama. And in the same breathe, they don't want to pass any laws to make life better for the middle class.

The Department of Labor is finalizing a rule to update overtime protections so they can help millions more Americans.  The final rule, which takes effect on December 1, 2016, doubles the salary threshold—from $23,660 to $47,476 per year—under which most salaried workers are guaranteed overtime (hourly workers are generally guaranteed overtime pay regardless of their earnings level).  Additionally, this new level will be automatically updated every three years to ensure that workers continue to earn the pay they deserve.

Increasing overtime protections is another step in the President’s effort to grow and strengthen the middle class by raising Americans’ wages.  This extra income will not only mean a better life for American families impacted by overtime protections, but will boost our economy across the board as these families spend their hard-earned wages.

This new rule takes into account input from 270,000 public comments and extensive outreach meetings with employers, business associations, small businesses, workers, worker advocates, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and state and local government representatives.  It will:

Raise the salary threshold from $23,660 to $47,476 a year, or from $455 to $913 a week.  This doubles the current salary threshold while being responsive to public comments regarding regional variations in income by setting the salary threshold at the 40th percentile of full-time salaried workers in the lowest income Census region (currently the South).  Tying the salary threshold to the lowest-wage region of the country has strong historical precedent in previous rulemakings.

Raise Americans’ wages by an estimated $12 billion over the next 10 years, with an average increase of $1.2 billion annually.  At the same time, employers retain considerable flexibility in how they comply with the new rule, such as increasing salaries to at least the new threshold to keep positions that are primarily executive, administrative, or professional exempt from overtime pay; paying overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 in a week; or reducing overtime hours.

Extend overtime protections to 4.2 million additional workers who are not currently eligible for overtime under federal law.  Others who may already be eligible for overtime will also benefit as the higher salary threshold will serve as a useful bright line test for workers—and their employers—to understand whether they are eligible for overtime.  The number of workers in each state who will benefit from the rule can be found HERE.

Update the salary threshold every three years.  The updates will ensure the threshold is maintained at the 40th percentile of full-time salaried workers in the lowest income region of the country.  Based on projections of wage growth, the threshold is expected to rise to more than $51,000 with the first update on January 1, 2020.

Raise the “highly compensated employee” threshold – from $100,000 to $134,004 – above which only a minimal showing is needed to demonstrate an employee is not eligible for overtime.  This upper threshold was designed to ease the burden on employers in identifying overtime eligible employees since it is more likely that workers earning above this high salary level perform the types of job duties that would exempt them from overtime requirements.

Respond to employers’ concerns by making no changes to the “duties test” and allowing bonuses and incentive payments to count toward up to 10 percent of the new salary level.  Workers earning more than the salary threshold are still subject to the duties test to determine eligibility for overtime.  In their comments to the proposed rule, employers argued that changing the duties test would be difficult and costly to implement, and the final rule leaves the existing duties test in place.  Additionally, for the first time, employers will be able to count bonuses and commissions toward as much as 10 percent of the salary threshold.

It seems like Republicans rather see you work your ass off for little or no overtime pay. It seems like Donald Trump will probably speak out against it. It's likely Bernie Sanders will not mention this huge news to his trolls. It seems like Hillary Clinton will credit her husband for allowing Obama to come up with this idea.

Again, the Congress is unproductive. The three candidates running for president are too polarizing.

The opinions of most lawmakers is extremely low.

Conservatives are getting outraged over the most trivial things.

John Boehner: Ted Cruz Is A Miserable Son Of A Bitch! He's Lucifer In The Flesh!

Former weeper calls Ted Cruz "Lucifer".

The hit Fox series Lucifer is greenlighted for a Fall return. The series debuted in Winter and managed to fill the void that Minority Report failed at. Lucifer will follow Gotham on Mondays.

Over at Stanford University, former House Weeper John Boehner had no love for Ted Cruz and his struggling campaign.

On tape, the former speaker said that he would never support that "miserable son of a bitch". He said that he's pretty cool with Donald Trump. He said of his friend John Kasich, that he has no real reason to be in this race.

"I have Democrat friends and Republican friends," the former House speaker said during a frank on-stage discussion at Stanford University Wednesday. "I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life."
Boehner clowning on Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina.
Boehner, who retired from Congress at the end of October, also let loose on the two other GOP candidates in the race.

Boehner called Cruz, "Lucifer in the flesh".

When asked about the comments Cruz and running mate Carly Fiorina said that Boehner is one of the reasons why government wasn't working. He's giving credence to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Boehner lives in West Chester, Ohio. He was the Congressman from the 8th Congressional district.

West Chester is in Butler County. That county went to Trump in a 2:1 ratio.

Boehner is no friend of Cruz. He blames Cruz for dragging Congress into the crapper.

Quarterbacking A Quick Rich Scheme!

Major scandal involving two of the country's fantasy sports companies.

FanDuel and DraftKings are incredibly popular. Gamblers take the chance on winning big $$$$$$ picking their favorite football teams and the score stats.

Talk radio agitators were promote these websites. I can tell you that annoying conservative agitator was actively encouraging his gullible audience to engage in these websites. I believe that old fart Limbaugh was promoting this as well.

Well there's a scandal brewing with these gaming sites.

One of the rivals was getting the low down on player stats. Ethan Haskell who worked at DraftKings took in over a quarter of a million running the numbers over at FanDuel.
Ethan Haskell
DraftKings techie Ethan Haskell got death threats and worldwide condemnation after he accidentally leaked information that he profited from rival FanDuel.
That insider data gave him an opportunity to make himself rich. And with them riches, he actually got reckless. He accidentally leaked information to his friends. Them friends told the junk food media about it and now there's a scandal.

The New York Times reports that this scandal is huge. The two major fantasy companies were forced to release statements defending their businesses’ integrity after what amounted to allegations of insider trading, that employees were placing bets using information not generally available to the public.

Haskell clammed up and blocked access to his social media accounts in fear of death threats and potential incrimination. Now his mistake has caught wind over at Congress. Some are calling for regulations on fantasy sports.

He might be called upon the Congress to testify to why he got insider information.

The industry has its roots in informal fantasy games that began years ago with groups of fans playing against one another for fun over the course of a season. They assembled hypothetical teams and scored points based on how players did in actual games.

But in recent years, companies, led by DraftKings and FanDuel, have set up online daily and weekly games based on a similar concept in which fans pay an entry fee to a website — from 25 cents to $1,000 — to play dozens if not hundreds of opponents, with prize pools that can pay $2 million to the winner. Critics have complained that the setup is hardly different from Las Vegas-style gambling that is normally banned in the sports world.

Well here another reason to why Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are destroying talk radio.

These two were on talk radio endorsing products that may end up being scams. They were proudly endorsing these companies.

FanDuel and DraftKings is gambling. You are wasting your money online betting on the unpredictable NFL and NCAA-I College football games.

I am not a statistician but I bet you that 80% of Americans over 18 year old have played a game of chance for money. If I am not proven right, then I lose a reader. Regardless, I won't lose a cent.

Americans involved in DraftKings and FanDuel are likely to gamble their life savings on fantasy sports, casinos, lottery and bingo.

Secret Service Was Caught Putting An Insurgent Lawmaker's Business Out There!

Jason Chaffetz, official portrait, 111th Congress.jpg
Insurgent Rep. Jason Chaffetz ordered an investigation into misconduct by the U.S. Secret Service. Some members snooped on him.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) is an insurgent lawmaker. He announced his run for Speaker of the House. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) already blew it when he appeared on that annoying conservative agitator's program saying that the Benghazi committee was deliberately destroying Hillary Clinton's bid for president.

Chaffetz is a relatively annoying insurgent lawmaker who thinks the "government is too big".

Yet, Chaffetz gets a paycheck from this "big government". Chaffetz wants to be elected on this cutting government agencies and Planned Parenthood.

Chaffetz is the type of lawmaker who is obsessed with cutting agencies. Remember this is the lawmaker who openly bragged about cutting the State Department's budget. The budget that led to lack of security at embassies and consulates. That led to the Benghazi tragedy. That led to the blame game against President Barack Obama, National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Clinton.

The U.S. Secret Service was going to put the lawmaker's business out there. Joe Clancy, head of the Secret Service has formally apologized to the lawmaker.

The Secret Service put out some embarrassing stuff about the insurgent lawmaker. The lawmaker was none too happy about it. He wants some heads to roll.

Homeland Security released a report recently stating some disgruntled Secret Service members were searching up Chaffetz's files. He once tried to become an agent.

CNN reports that Director Joe Clancy said in a statement he was first aware of the "speculative rumor" of members of his agency discussing Chaffetz's records on March 25. Previously, Clancy said he first heard about the information from the media April 1.

Clancy said when he first heard the information it was "not credible and was not attributed to a source of information or indicative of any action."

An investigation released Wednesday by the Department of Homeland Security found that a top official at the agency encouraged colleagues via email to release records on Chaffetz contained "some information that he might find embarrassing needs to get out."

The Daily Beast shortly thereafter reported that Chaffetz had been rejected in 2003 by the agency he now oversees as a committee chairman.

Clancy said he didn't learn until later that Secret Service employees had accessed the private records of Chaffetz, and leaked that he applied unsuccessfully for a job at the agency.

"I feel it is extremely important to be as accurate as possible regarding my knowledge of this matter and I have personally spoken to Chairman Chaffetz to advise him of the additional information that I provided to the Inspector General," Clancy said.

GITMO Could Finally Close!

Florence ADMAX.jpg
The country's tightest controlled lockup. ADX Florence is a federal time out that harbors the most dangerous criminals the world deem an international threat to society. The GITMO detainees may end up here. Same with El Chapo.

A tiny peninsula of Cuba is under U.S. jurisdiction. Guantanamo Bay Naval Base is a U.S. Air and Naval base located in southeastern corner of Cuba.

That military base is under intense controversy. The base is home to a handful of foreign terrorists held at the naval prison.

In President Barack Obama's first term he issued an executive order to have detainees held in federal time out. The Republicans and spineless Democrats in Congress bitched and bemoaned about the danger these detainees posed and stopped in its tracks.

Less than 120 men are located at this federal lock up. The U.N. and many nations condemn this as a unlawful detainment of innocents.

Many of the detainees were planners for the September 11, 2001 attacks. Some are members of the Taliban and Iraq's insurgency.

Well there's talk that if GITMO closes the detainees may head to Florence, CO for federal time out.

Florence is the Supermax federal time out. It's the nation's most toughest iron college. It's considered the Alcatraz of the Rockies. This place holds most notorious criminals and terrorists the government deem too much of burden in public.

Congress will have to change the law before the inmates can be housed in a federal time out.

We'll see how this goes! After all, the inept Republican Congress fears man. They can't allow the families the opportunities to see justice. T

James Holmes Served!

White terrorist got an opportunity to see justice served to him.

The Aurora shooter was found guilty for the murder of 14. James Holmes was served up yesterday evening. The jury believed that despite the defense's attempts to paint him as a psychopath who needs treatment, the criminal act was callous enough for the jury to say he was competent. He had no remorse for the lives he's taken.

On July 20, 2012, at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, James Holmes walked into the theater in Aurora, CO, a suburb of Denver. He went in with a gas mask and an arsenal of firearms.

When he threw a tear gas canister into the aisles the people thought it was a joke. The moment the smoke plumed, people were escaping the smoke. Upon escaping, Holmes lit up the place.

Holmes would end up killing 14 innocent lives. Holmes was caught on the property. But as he was caught, he left a set of explosives in his apartment. He wanted neighbors to pound on his apartment door. When they would enter the home, the explosives would go off and kill more victims.

His plan was to throw the law off with the bombing before the shooting.

All mass shootings are regarded as terrorism. There's no need to add a feature to an act of senseless tragedy. I don't care about the shooter's race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, political views, or social class. The shooter committed an act of terrorism.

The agitators can pick what the actions inspired this shooter. I am guilty like everyone else when it comes to this. The one who deserves the blame is the shooter. It doesn't matter what politics you follow! The shooter clearly didn't care who was shot.

If you really want to change the ongoing mass shootings in America. You got to force Congress to do something about it. I rather see myself demanding Congress to work on stopping senseless tragedies like this.

Expect the inept Congress to do nothing about gun control and background checks.

A man who was just got married. A woman who reported the news survived a mass shooting in Canada. A man who save the life of his girlfriend. A father who wanted to take his girls to a movie. A man who served in the two wars. These victims were killed by that White terrorist. He didn't care who he killed.
He was served. One on explosive charges (federal), 140 counts of attempted murder (state), 24 counts of capital (state/federal first and second degree murder),

During the U.S. Presidential Elections, President Barack Obama and perennial loser Mitt Romney both express sorrow for the families.

The president called upon the inept Congress to do something about gun control. Romney went around and bitched about how the president was exploiting a tragedy.
Holmes listens to the testimony of victims. Again showing no remorse.
The spineless Democrats who feared losing their chances in the Senate didn't push for reform.

When the president won and the Democrats gained a few more seats, in December, Adam Lanza went into a Connecticut school and lit the place up. He ended up killing 25 people. One was his mother. Lanza's killed little children, their teachers and the principal. The Sandy Hook shooting tragedy is one of the worst event in American history.

Holmes is alive to face his victims he didn't kill and their families of those who were lost.

Holmes will now learn if he lives or dies. The jury now goes into the sentencing phase.

As Holmes got served, Mohammad Yoseff Abdulezze went into two U.S. Armed Forces facilities and lit the place up. He ends up killing four Marines. Three years to the day of Aurora. Abduleeze was gunned down by the police after he was chased. He ended up injuring 10 in this mass shooting.

World News Today send our condolences to those lost in the Aurora tragedy.

The victims:

Jonathan Blunk, age 26,
Alexander J. Boik, age 18
Jesse Childress, age 29
Gordon Cowden, age 51
Jessica Ghawi, age 24
John Larimer, age 27
Matt McQuinn, age 27
Micayla Medek, age 23
Veronica Moser-Sullivan, age 6
Alex Sullivan, age 27
Alexander C. Teves, age 24
Rebecca Wingo, age 31

May you rest in peace.

Early Voting!

It begins again. The opportunity to make your voice be heard began on October 5.

The state of Ohio advocates early voting for this U.S. Midterm election. Are you going to vote?

It's really important.

Seriously, it's important.

These elections are very important for the determination of who controls state governorships and federal office.

There's about 36 governorships on the line and Republicans have a big stake in the elections.

The Democrats have a razor thin majority in the U.S, Senate and there's 33 senate seats up for this election with the majority being in the South. All 435 congressional seats along with the four delegates from the U.S. territories are up for reelection. The Resident Commissioner for Puerto Rico (an elected U.S. Representative who serves four years) will be up in 2016.

Republicans have a chance to take back the U.S. Senate and win full control of Congress.

The Democrats may have a chance to unseat unpopular Republican governors. It's matter up to you to change the demographics.

Of course, I want you to know that you have to be 18 to vote. You have to have a valid identification.

You have to make sure you know where you local polling station is?

Ex-felons are allowed to vote in Ohio. You must register to vote.

I know the talk and quite frankly, I don't want to hear it. I want you to know that a vote can change the dynamics of this country.

My ancestors fought and died for the right to vote. I don't want to disappoint my family by not turning out to vote.

The Secret Service Put Obama's Life In Danger!

Julia Pierson USSS.jpg
Julia Pierson couldn't cut the mustard. The director resigned after too many incidents involving U.S. Secret Service agents. The aftermath of the fence jumper spreads even further.
What a week. We end this week with the most controversial scandal to ever come from the nation's capital. The U.S. Secret Service is under fire after numerous botch ups. It's worse than most expected.

The president's most important detail had failed one too many times. From the prostitution scandal to the apparent drinking while on duty, there are some Secret Service members who are still lacking discipline.

President Barack Obama is the first Black president. He is a very high priority for the Secret Service.

The agitators of the junk food media driven the irrational to do something that may put the president, Vice President Joe Biden and their families in danger.

The Secret Service is trained and ready to go.

This discipline was supposed to be changed by Julia Pierson. Alas, her motherly skills have proven to be a failure. Now she's heading for the exit.

After a week of misfortune for the Secret Service, the Congress will now conduct investigation into mismanagement and chronic failure in protection.

The president and First Lady Michelle Obama may smile and give thumbs up to the men and women of the Service, but the grumbling is being talked about. They really are pissed over the fact that an extremist would jump the fence and make it all the way into The White House.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden making an appearance in Dayton, Ohio during the 2012 U.S. Presidential Elections. This was taken in October 2012. Notice the Secret Service agents within striking range of this photo I've taken.
Yeah, he did! It was five minutes throughout the whole ordeal. Five minutes too many.

These two high-profile incidents involving intruders at the White House. One such intruder actually gained access into the White House itself, entering the East Room through an unlocked door.

Another incident involved a violation of procedure in which an armed contractor with previous convictions for violent offenses was allowed to ride in the same elevator as President Barack Obama during a visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss U.S. response to the Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa.

The contractor was caught using his phone to record video of Obama and refused to comply with a request to stop.

This week the Secret Service ignored a man who pretended to be a lawmaker when the president appeared at the Congressional Black Conference annual dinner.

Black lawmakers Elijah Cummings (D-MD), Emmanuel Clever (D-MO) and John Lewis (D-GA) have express outrage and concern that the Secret Service will drop the ball and the president will be hurt.

Conservative agitators have been blaming the president for his security detail being so weak.

Instead of blaming the inept Congress for not funding the Homeland Security, the agitators are crying that the president is using this as a tactic to keep control of the Senate in the hands of the Democratic Party.

The Secret Service better get their asses together. The moment they let their guard down, then the gun goes off and we'll be hearing nonstop coverage of a tragedy.

What could be done to help the Secret Service?

The Racist Right's Obsession With The 20th Century!

This is what the racist right does for a living. They fixate on the past and not the future of America.

In a nutshell, no matter what President Barack Obama does, the racist right will complain about it.

Listen to the racist right. The word vomit they're spewing is overwhelmingly stuck on the past. They put the fear into the minds of those who already have a hatred of race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, political and economic standings.

If America elects a Republican president, the condescending liberals will find ways to destroy the legacy like the racist right's attempts on Obama.

They will often dig out their asses some theme of the previous century. No matter what is done, the junk food media will compare it to something done by a previous president or liken it to some major event in history.

We're coming up to the 13th year and second year of September 11. The first disaster happened in 2001 when Americans witnessed the first commercial airplane go into the World Trade Center setting off a chain of events that led to the rise and fall of George W. Bush.

The racist right is still fumed up over the condescending liberals constant attacks on Bush. They figured if they can take Bush down, they can do this to Obama.

Unaware that if the next president is a Republican, the Democrats will continue the obstruction and even create more condescending liberals on radio and television bashing the Republican president.

According to some of the racist right agitator's is the first Affirmative Action president. Cause in their minds, Obama cares only about Black people.

In the word's of that jackass on radio, "I hope he fails!"
An unaccomplished politico who earned the title of being a powerful force in the insurgency.
The racist right believes that the president executive actions are kind of like being a dictator. So far they believe that he's done things like Adolf Hitler. He could be like Fidel Castro.

Hell they compare him to some of the 20th Century's past presidents. According to the racist right, Obama is like Jimmy Carter on domestic policy. He is like Richard Nixon on presidential powers.

He is a socialist according to the agitators.

He's a racist say the Black conservatives who think his radically liberal policies destroyed Black America.

He's this. He's that.

He's Obama (not Barack) according to the most annoying conservative agitator on television and radio.

Where's his birth certificate?

When will he admit that the IRS targeted the insurgency?

When will the president admit that he wasn't prepared to handle ISIS?

Why isn't the American people getting answers on Benghazi?

Why is the president bowing to foreign leaders?

Why does Obama continue to support criminals like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown?

What happen to the "Summer of Recovery"?

"We're right," scream the pompous assholes who whine on the blogs.
This is the Republican Party's most powerful ally, An old man who spends a few hours on radio bitching about America's future under a Democratic president. He and a few others are obsessed with Obama. They can't go one minute without dropping his name.
Okay we're less than a few months from the U.S. Midterm elections. The Democrats despite their attempts to get things done are going to suffer. The president is a real drag on them. They have little chance of holding on. They can't get things done. And the policies that could help the middle class are getting blocked by the Republicans.

The potential for a sweep in the U.S. Senate is likely. The Republicans need at least seven seats to win back control of the Senate and overall the full impact of Congress. The insurgency isn't as powerful as they used to be. They're just a nuisance to the establishment. But overall, the enthusiasm gap is very wide for the Republicans. They are more enthusiastic in voting because they just can't stand Obama.

The inept House of Representatives will still be in control of the Republicans.

The morons in the U.S. Senate will continue to block policies by the inept House.

The insurgency is running to cameras instead of to their constituents.

The Stallmigos and the old guards of the Establishment get more coverage on television, radio and the blogs and yet the racist right complains and bitches about the media being liberal.

The dark horse money is being poured into shadowy groups that paint a candidate like an enemy of the state.
Loserville and one of its chief resident's Steve Doocy have driven the narrative of conservative outrage.
Conservative outrage is overwhelming. It's a compulsive disorder caused by the very agitators of the junk food media saying things to piss off Americans who just view things so narrow minded, facts are liberal lies according to them.

If you look at the outcome, Republicans can smile. But overall, the American people hate them.

They hate them so much, at this point, they don't care whether they run Congress or not!

That's what got the Democrats in a vine. The Democrats failed on the message of working for the middle class. They could fix the problems despite having a few months of a super-majority.

THE DEMOCRATS HAD 153 DAYS AS A SUPER-MAJORITY. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A LONG STANDING MAJORITY.

LESS THAN THREE MONTHS OVERALL!

Politics is so toxic in Washington. The threats of a government shutdown are happening over again.

The threats of impeachment to Obama are growing.

The threats of rolling back progress is likely happening cause of the Supreme Court being to the racist right and the state governors are mostly Republican.

My question to you.

What has the Republican Party done overall as elected members of Congress?

GOP Rage At Obama's Vision!

The era of Ronald Reagan is over! Get over it!

The future is now and Americans are looking forward.

President Barack Obama lays out the second term agenda. This agenda will face a stubborn Congress with many of the newest members affiliated with the extremist Tea Party. The Republicans are rebounding from a disastrous year.

The debt ceiling debate an often contentious issue has the United States hanging on a thread. The borrowing agencies are going to downgrade our nation's credit rating if Congress fails to pass bipartisan budgets.

The Republicans concede that it's possible for the three month extension of the debt ceiling. But they're also getting restless on the U.S. Senate inactive notion to pass a budget. They want domestic austerity cuts to social safety nets. They've harped on the Democratic controlled Senate not passing a budget in years. The Democrats are eager to have Republicans now put revenue (tax increases) on the table. That still has been a sticking point to them. The president has a backlog of nominees for his cabinet and federal courts held in limbo the first term. Republicans have filibustered most of the controversial nominees for the president.

The Republicans will continue to stall nominations in the U.S. Senate with cabinet replacements, federal judges and the potential nomination for a Supreme Court justice if one should retire or die.

The president will waste no time on the immigration reform debate. Seeing that the president carried an overwhelmingly amount of Hispanic/Latino votes, he vowed to make it possible for an immigrant to get a piece of the American Dream.

The president also recognized the needs of the African American voters. The president made note of the chaos in Florida and Ohio where long lines plagued early voters and on day voters. The Republican led legislatures in these states have brought forth rollbacks to early voting and ending same day registrations.

Republican state houses pushed restrictions on early voting, voter identification and removal of same day registration. They believe this was an advantage to helping President Barack Obama. They claim these created "voter fraud" and "voter intimidation". The president vows to keep Americans voting in the Midterm and 2016 presidential elections.

The president also recognized the LGBT community. From the mentions of Stonewall to the acceptance of our friends and family who are gay, the president vows to fight for equal rights for all Americans.

The president has invoked acceptance to gay marriage. Last year, the president went to ABC News with Robin Roberts and stated that he's realized that it's essential to accept a same sex family.

The president also recognized women's rights. Since the passing of the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay law, many American women are hoping the glass ceiling will be broken once and for all. The president vowed that reproductive rights via Roe v. Wade will sustain. The president vowed that he wants to bring family back into the fold. Understanding that American families are unmarried, the president urges Congress to keep safety nets in for families who suffered under the housing and banking crisis.

The president vowed to end the war in Afghanistan by the start of 2014. The president also vowed to capture those involved in the Algeria hostage situation at the BP oil wells. The threat of al-Qaeda isn't over until the president neutralizes top leadership and demands nations to cancel their sponsorship of this organization.

To many progressives, it's was a masterpiece. To conservatives, it's another speech filled with blame Bush, divisiveness, partisan rancor and the like.

The Republicans vow to fight the president at every step. The president vows to fight back even though he still has optimism that bipartisanship can occur.

The beginning of the second term starts. But we know ever since he won the election, his second term began on November 7, 2012 with Republicans are hating along the way!

The way the Republicans acted during the U.S. Election, is a reason for his second term victory.

Blunder!

The July jobs report is out. And right off the bat, the political analysis of this is not good. The unemployment rate is now at 8.3%. The country added 169,000 jobs in the previous month. Not bad, not good either. There were a high claim of unemployment applications during that month and many Americans are still searching or giving up on the job market.

Republicans can rejoice. The talking point reverts back to the economy and jobs.

Mitt Romney had a horrible month. Overseas was a huge fumble especially in the United Kingdom and Middle East. Over in the United States the talk of tax returns and hidden millions in foreign nations is really starting to make Americans question his judgement.

President Barack Obama will celebrate his birthday this weekend. His job disapproval will match his age of 51. According to the Gallup Poll, the president's job approval is 45% - 48%. It will tick up in the coming days due to the economy, the sharp rise in fuel prices and of course his actions here and abroad.

Congress has really "done nothing". The Republican controlled House of Representatives has voted down the Democrats plan to bring tax cuts to the middle class. The Republicans argue that if you can't give the millionaires the tax breaks, we're not going to support this law. The U.S. Senate managed to pass it with a slim majority. How come the House is stalling on progress?

President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) are looked upon as a bunch of hyperpartisans who are willing to screw up the country for political gamesmanship.
From the right: House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California).

Congress Republicans have move further to the right on issues. The moderate Republicans are exiting faster than the moderate Democrats. They're fed up with the conservative wing of the party stalling progress.

Cracks in the stalemate. Some Republicans are tearing up the "Tax Pledge" by conservative activist Grover Norquist. The Republicans are slowly warming up to the notion of abandoning tax breaks to the high end earners.

This jobs report is political football for the cable news and talk radio circuit. Of course, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck will say the usual "end of days" nonsense that gives Republicans assurance they'll prevail in the 2012 U.S. Elections.

This jobs report will allow Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Alan Colmes to defend the president by saying that "see there's jobs" and the usual upbeat nonsense that gives Democrats hope that they'll prevail in the elections as well.

The jobs report makes a point to how our economy succeeds or fails.

The Republicans believe that the country is going down a dangerous path to economic failure because of the president's policies and they want to fix the problems. They want to pass domestic austerity cuts for lower class citizens, create bigger defense budgets for the military, roll back regulations for companies that pollute our nation, repeal legislation that protects unions, civil groups and minorities.

The Democrats believe that the country is slowly rebounding. They claim that the dangerous path the Republicans are taking is basically waiting to the last minute to get things done. They want to pass regulations on corporations that ship funds overseas while laying off employees, establish a safety net for struggling families, keep firearms out of the hands of terrorists and the mentally insane, and give rights to civil groups such as allowing LGBT to marry and undocumented workers get an opportunity to become citizens.

The government isn't going to pass legislation to keep the post office running until they get back after their six week vacation. When they go home to their respectable districts or states, your Representative or Senator will have a great time enjoying their vacations while you work harder. While they enjoy a round of golf, boating or an adulterous affair, you're trying to keep the lights on in your home, food in your refrigerator, and fuel in your vehicle.

The Republicans are stalling progress to defeat President Barack Obama. The Democrats can't let go of issues that are deem too controversial. The gridlock is still here and of course we the American people are fed up.

How can you get anything done if you have a bunch of partisans running the Congress or the White House?

I support the president on most issues, but if President Barack Obama has to go negative in order to secure his second term, then it defeats his "hope and change" mantra that he's been rallying his base on!

Mitt Romney is a perennial candidate that will say or do anything to escape the controversy that he puts his big mouth in. He's not the Republican Party's favorite son, but you better believe they are willing to take a moderate Republican over Barack Obama any day!

Congress Breaks Yet Again, Putting Federal Workers In Jeopardy Of Losing Their Jobs!

The United States Postal Service is heading for default. The federal agency is in the hole and many Americans could see their service disrupted if Congress doesn't act on this.

Republicans who want "smaller government" will never admit that the U.S. Post Office is the key to keeping Americans at work.

We're aware of the powers of digital technology. Email, iPhones and Cloud services are practically taking away the paper and making easier for people to pay bills and send messages without paying the stamp fees.

The Huffington Post reports that the U.S. Congress will break for their recess, leaving federal agencies in jeopardy of going into default.

At midnight Wednesday, the U.S. Postal Service is expected to default on a multi-billion dollar payment owed to the Treasury, highlighting financial struggles that could affect not only mail service but hundreds of thousands of jobs.

The agency's failure to make good on a $5.5 billion payment toward retiree health benefits comes as no surprise, and the default won't have any immediate effects on the postal service's day-to-day operations, the agency assured in a statement. But the missed payment -- reportedly the first of its kind in the post office's history -- will no doubt ramp up the debate over how best to address the agency's growing red ink.

On Tuesday, some proponents of reform blamed not the postal service but Congress itself for the default, citing a controversial 2006 law that increased the agency's financial obligations and lawmakers' failure so far to pass legislation this session that would address the agency's problems.

"The word 'default' sounds ominous, but in reality this is a default on the part of Congress," Fredric Rolando, president of the National Association of Letter Carriers union, said in an email to HuffPost.

Under the law passed in 2006, the postal service must pay at least $5.5 billion a year into a retiree health benefit fund, a steep "prefunding" requirement that doesn’t apply to normal corporations. Although the agency has suffered a significant drop in first-class mail over the last five years, the prefunding payments have accounted for most of the postal service's losses in recent quarters.

To help the agency right itself, the postal service's postmaster general, Patrick Donahoe, has asked that Congress lighten the prefunding burden, as well as allow the agency to undergo significant cuts to address the decline in mail due to web transactions. Those cuts include the phasing out of 150,000 jobs, the elimination of Saturday delivery and the closing of roughly half the agency's mail-processing facilities -- measures largely opposed by postal unions.

In a statement issued Monday, the postal service urged Congress to get moving on legislation. "[C]omprehensive postal legislation is needed to return the Postal Service to long-term financial stability," the agency said. "We remain hopeful that such legislation can be enacted during the current Congress."

Earlier this year, the Senate passed a bill that would address the pre-funding burden, free up money for the agency to eliminate roughly 100,000 jobs and limit overnight delivery in some areas. The move to Saturday delivery, meanwhile, would be delayed for at least two years.

The House, however, has not yet produced any legislation. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has championed a bill more austere than the Senate's, allowing for the phasing out of around 150,000 jobs and facilitating a faster move to five-day delivery. The bill would also bar no-layoff clauses in union contracts and establish a commission tasked with cost-cutting if the postal service didn't meet its own goals. But nothing has come to the House floor for a vote.

In a statement Tuesday, Issa blamed the default on long-term mismanagement at the agency.

"The default by the Postal Service on its obligation to its own employees and retirees follows decades of mismanagement, and a willful blindness to fundamental changes in America’s use of mail," Issa said. "The Postal Service continues to fail to do all it can under current law to cut costs."

On Tuesday, the office of Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.), a co-sponsor of the Senate bill, said the House was being "fiscally irresponsible" by dallying and holding up reform. Carper has urged Republican leaders to pass a bill so that the House and Senate can hash out any differences in conference.

"Every day Congress delays fixing this problem, the financial challenge grows more difficult and the potential solutions become more expensive," Carper said in a statement to HuffPost. "If the House has a plan to prevent the Postal Service from defaulting for the first time in its history, I think they should bring it to the floor and pass it. We shouldn’t be waiting around until the 11th hour to do the right thing and fix the serious, but solvable, financial challenges plaguing this American institution."

Congress breaks for August recess at the end of the week, meaning House leaders won't be able to take up the postal issue until September at the earliest.
