Voters could elect the first African American woman as president?
Okay.
Vote.
Vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
We Are Not Going Back!
Okay, I am going to endorse Kamala Harris for president. I am not going lie, I was not thrilled at the time because of President Joe Biden's stance on Israel. I've took time to realize that our country must heal and end the divisiveness of MAGAland.
Former president Donald J. Trump is a threat to democracy. He is extremely reckless and incompetent to our ways of life.
He is the very definition of white privilege.
Harris is willing to listen. That's why she is getting a lot of protesters. I mean they would be in danger if they tried it at a Trump rally.
Once the election is over, I won't be flooded by text messages, emails, campaign ads, endless drivel of who is good and who is bad.
One of these individuals will become the 47th President of the United States.
Defeat the apartheid Israel.
FREE PALESTINE🇵🇸!
So while we prepare for the month of November, we are only four days from the 2024 U.S. elections. The final days for both Harris and Trump to make their case to the undecided voters.
Hurricanes destroy parts of the South and millions are unemployed.
Of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the jobs report details how many jobs were spread across the United States. Some areas seen job growth while others saw job losses.
Job creation in October slowed to its weakest pace since late 2020 as the impacts of storms in the Southeast and a significant labor impasse dented the employment picture.
Nonfarm payrolls increased by 12,000 for the month, down sharply from September and below the Dow Jones estimate for 100,000, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. In what had already been expected to be a downbeat report, October posted the smallest gain since December 2020.
The unemployment rate, however, held at 4.1%, in line with expectations. A broader measure of unemployment that includes discouraged workers and those holding part-time jobs for economic reasons also was unchanged at 7.7%.
In the report narrative, the BLS noted that the Boeing strike likely subtracted 44,000 jobs in the manufacturing sector, which lost 46,000 positions overall.
Along with that, the report noted the impact of hurricanes Helene and Milton but said “it is not possible to quantify the net effect” of the storms on the jobs total.
Elsewhere, the bureau said average hourly earnings increased 0.4% for the month, slightly higher than the estimate, though the 4% 12-month gain was in line. The average workweek held steady at 34.3 hours.
Markets, though, largely ignored the bad news, with stock market futures poised for a strong open on Wall Street while Treasury yields plunged. The meager jobs numbers along with wages about in line with expectations help cement another interest rate cut from the Federal Reserve next week.
“At first glance, October’s jobs report paints a picture of growing fragility in the U.S. labor market, but under the surface is a muddy report roiled by climate and labor disruptions,” said Cory Stahle, an economist at the Indeed Hiring Lab. “While the impacts of these events are real and should not be ignored, they are likely temporary and not a signal of a collapsing job market.”
The release comes just days ahead of the presidential election in which Harris and Trump are in what most polls show to be a deadlocked race. With the economy at the forefront of the battle, the light jobs number “casts a murky shadow heading into next week,” said Lisa Sturtevant, chief economist at Bright MLS.
The weak October report also included substantial downward revisions from previous months. August was cut to just a gain of 78,000 while September’s initial estimate came down to 223,000. Together, the net revisions lowered previously reported job creation totals by 112,000.
Israel has killed over 200,000 people in its evil expansion and genocide.
Health care and government again led job creation, respectively adding 52,000 and 40,000 positions. Several sectors, though, saw job losses.
In addition to the expected pullback in manufacturing, temporary help services saw a drop of 49,000. The category is sometimes seen as a proxy for underlying job strength and has seen a decline of 577,000 since March 2022, the BLS said.
Another leading sector, leisure and hospitality, saw a drop of 4,000, while retail trade and transportation and warehousing also reported modest declines.
In the household survey, which is used to calculate the unemployment rate, the hiring numbers were even weaker.
That showed 368,000 fewer people reported holding jobs and the labor force contracting by 220,000. Full-time employment declined by 164,000, while part-timers fell by 227,000.
The report covers a month in which hurricanes Helene and Milton slammed the Southeast – Florida and North Carolina in particular – while the Boeing strike also hit what had been a vibrant though slowing labor market. Recent developments indicate that the Boeing impasse could be near an end.
As a result, policymakers in September took a step unprecedented for a growing economy and lowered their benchmark short-term interest rate by half a percentage point, double the customary quarter-point increments in which the Fed usually likes to move.

510 mass shootings this year. This is unprecedented. For a year of 366 days, this will a year where gun violence surpassed the days of the year.

The current president, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He will serve one term and now in his lame duck term, his job approval is rising.
Beyonce endorsed Harris.
The junk food media is ignoring the accomplishments. Biden is facing blowback from his support of Israel, the constant mention of Republican rival former president Donald J. Trump and the repeated campaign to tarnish his son Hunter.
You know the junk food media ain't talking about Hunter Biden or Biden corruption now that he exited the race. Sean "Softball" Hannity, Megyn Kelly, Elon Musk, Bill O'Reilly, Mark Levin, Fox, Breitbart are more concerned about Harris laughing, her Blackness, calling MAGA garbage and this made up border czar nonsense.
Trump is still telling Americans that if he doesn't win, there will be all out war. He still is telling the world that if he gets in he will finish what he started.
Republicans still can't govern in the House of Representatives. They are pushing authoritarianism in states they have control of. They are banning swatting, honing and regulations on testing. But when it comes to firearms, they refuse to do something.
Republicans are using dog whistles when talking about Harris, Israel, crime, immigration and gun violence.
1. Hamas are terrorist to Israel and the United States. Those who support Hamas or defend their actions are labeled terrorist sympathizers, antisemitic, traitors, unpatriotic, radicals or whatever they conjure up.
2. Gun violence is the No. 1 threat to children and adults. When gun violence happen in Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Detroit and Baltimore, a Republican lawmaker wants to blame gun violence on Democratic mayors instead of the Congress.
3. Immigration is right now at record lows. The world views the U.S. as a hostile country and migrants from the Global South are beginning to ban American influence. They fear a Trump presidency could cause instability. Republicans are pushing for border closures, border/segregation walls, mass deportations, elimination of birthright citizenship, end of legal rights to Americans married to immigrants and push for English only. They also want to ban immigrants or student visas. They want to deport any immigrant who protest Israel or Trump.
4. Crime is at record lows. But property theft is up. Shoplifting, the Kia/Hyundai challenge, gun violence, white collar crimes and cybertheft have occurred. But again its racial dog whistles. Many corporations are getting away with greed and theft of wages. Many Americans are tired of paying more for less product. Kia and Hyundai are still facing criticism over this Kia Boyz nonsense. Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, Wexman are on their last legs. Walmart, Target and Kroger are closing stores in predominantly Black and Latino neighborhoods. Republicans are pushing for more mandatory sentences for theft. Democrats want to push for regulations on shrinkflation and theft of wages. Republicans oppose overtime and regulations to keep corporations from raising product prices.
Jennifer Lopez endorsed Harris.
Republicans want political revenge. Trump wants to jail his rivals. He may get that wish if he does return to power. This is not a joke. We ignored the threats in 2016 and 2020. It seems like we are going to do this again.
Do not assume that every place has jobs. Companies are closing up shop. The tech industry, retail, trucking and press are laying off workers. The service industry is continuing to suffer due to stagnant wages, lack of achievements and work overload.
Also, housing is still down. More Americans can't afford rent or car payments.
AIPAC has poured money into many of these primaries. It openly bragged that its choices which were Democrats and Republicans beating their challengers.
House members passed a bill to define antisemitism in attempt to suppress freedom of speech. The insufferable House of Representatives in a bipartisan moment are trying to criminalize thought and dissent.
They are now trying to outlaw any criticism of Israel as hate speech which could be punishable by sanctions, divestment or allowing companies to terminate employment of anyone who dares criticizes Israel.
Let me get this straight: You are more upset over words than actions. You are upset someone using their freedom of speech to criticize a foreign country engaged in a propaganda campaign to shield itself from war crimes and impunity. You are upset over people using their voices, their wallets and their time to protest an injustice. Well, get upset over your taxpayer money aiding foreign nations. Get upset over foreign nations killing Americans in a war funded by our taxpayer money. Get upset over the deaths of thousands in Haiti, Chad, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, Venezuela, Myanmar, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine and Palestine. Get upset at your president, your senator, your representative, your governor, your state leader, your mayor and your local junk food media for bowing to the evil regime of Israel.
The Congress has less work than most Americans. It is infuriating that the average worker works more 50 hours a week while 157 House members and 36 senators work on average of 25 hours a week.
Republicans see the only path to victory is basically obstruct and complain about the president and vice president. They won't offer solutions or policies. All they care about is trying to keep folks angry with culture wars and distractions.
To make this clear, it doesn't matter anymore who the fucking president is. Biden, Harris, Trump, Tim Walz, J.D. Vance, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Nicole Shanahan are backing Israel over the world. They are so out of touch with reality.
Yet, I would back Harris over Jill Stein, Butch Ware, Cornel West, Melina Abdullah, Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat.
Whoever becomes the next president will be inheriting a strong economy but a very divided country.
Tim Walz is getting more media coverage.
Holding Biden accountable for his actions doesn't mean a lockstep vote and support.
I. Am. Calling. Him. Out.
Biden will end his presidency as an advocate of war and genocide. He was tone deaf and unfortunately a lost cause.
What pisses me off is our lawmakers are calling protesters "Hamas supporters" to paint peaceful protests as an act of "terrorism." Their reactionary response to anger over America's support of Israel will lead to our standing with the world.
With billions of dollars of aid going to Israel, you would think that American lawmakers would have our taxpayer money spent on more useful things!
The lawmakers will spend more taxpayer money to fix our crumbling infrastructure. Hell we still have the aftermaths of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Over 1,500 people have died from those horrible hurricanes.
Many of these Republicans who vote against funding the government and assistance for some of America's less fortunate are willing to give billions to a foreign nation engaged in an illegal act of genocide. Same with Democrats. They claim they want to protect democracy but endorse a fascist government sworn to being an ethnostate on our taxpayer dime.

Monthly reminders:
The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations.
An active shooter doesn't care about the politics, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, your finances, your family, your plans that day, your successes, your failures, and most importantly, your life.
You're not safe in the school, the concert, the hospital, the church, the casino, the bus station, the subway, the light rail train, the buses, the malls, the local big box store, the political rally, the protest rally, the women's center for reproductive surgeries, the mosque, the synagogue, the state buildings, the workplace, the gas station, the family picnic, the food truck rally, the funerals, the birthday parties, the graduations, the wedding, the televised events, the sporting events and many more events that have some terrorist with a firearm. Domestic violence, suicide, racism, culture war inspired, politically motivated and international operative inspired are types of gun violence.
Food prices, energy prices, rent, city services and college education have risen. Companies are struggling to find workers. They are now trying to push incentives to get workers in. However, there is always a catch to working entry level jobs that make over $20 an hour. Folks must work hours that do not accommodate home and social life, it may only be part time work or temporary. Some jobs may force overtime or refuse to pay for work rendered. With unions being weaken by states, it may be an at-will company. So if you are on social media, protesting injustices, supporting controversial issues or making threats to local officials; you could lose your job.

Jobs are looking good despite fears.
Companies are cautious about hiring employees. With the average wages stagnant, many are not looking forward to returning to a job that pays dirt wages. Many who worked in the retail, restaurant and low end service industry are not willing to take a job for less than $10 an hour. Matter of fact, no one can survive on $15 an hour.
Republicans don't see the bigger picture itself. They rather continue to believe in conspiracies about people collecting the safety net and not going back to work.
Give them a liveable wage and maybe things might improve in the job market.
We can't always assume that folks are lazy. People are literally dying from being exposed to the coronavirus, gun violence and folks are tired of the status quo of their jobs.
J.D. Vance is fizzling out.
Many single mothers are having trouble trying to find quality daycare or family members to watch children. On top of that, some have lost family members due to the pandemic. A homemaker may have lost their spouse. Some may have no choice but to watch their children or loved ones due to the aftermath of the pandemic.
Folks are still trying to rebound from medical bills, late rent payments, owing taxes and college loans.
Republicans are white nationalists without a conscience.
Trump's presidency and Republican controlled governments are incompetent. Their leadership has killed millions of Americans. Biden has a slim majority in Congress and things can't be done with obstruction from both parties.
Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.
We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.
Keep pressure on them with Israel.
Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.
Tony Hinchcliffe may have cost Trump the election.
They are feeling it. Democrats know the risk of supporters being turned off by their policies. They know that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are under extreme pressure to do something. Some Arab Americans, Muslim and young voters have vowed to never back Harris putting her election chances in danger.
The call number to the White House and U.S. Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official White House numbers 202-456-1111 and 202-456-1414. This is the Congress official phone number, 202-224-3121. Please be respectful to operators, staff members and elected leaders. Your calls are monitored by the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Capitol Police.
Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism.
We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists.
Trump fumes at CBS News over a Harris interview. Now he is suing,
For a guy who claims to believe in freedom, he sure doesn't like it when it doesn't suit his own agenda. He claims to be a man of the people but is doing things that seem out of touch.
While many of his strongest supporters sit in federal time out or the iron college for criminal acts, he has the privilege to travel wherever wants despite his own criminal conviction. He is the very definition of white privilege.
The former president has officially sued CBS News for $10 billion. Why?
Because he took a bunch of nonsense off the internet and ran with it.
When you are running for President of the United States, you want to reach a huge audience. Doing interviews on 60 Minutes makes a huge difference.
Vice President Kamala Harris did it and the folks in MAGAland believe the program deliberately edited questions and fed her questions.
They are also wearing Trump merchandise.
Have you seen the new MAGA Garbage outfits?
Goes great with the Trump sneakers, Trump watch, Trump bible and Trump NFT platforms. A whole gift set on behalf of MAGAland. Since he licensed his name to these products all the proceeds go to E. Jean Carroll and the State of New York.
If I was Trump, I better be preparing for post election. If he does not win, he will be facing lawsuits, his criminal sentencing and a lot of angry Republicans who feel that he couldn't seal the deal.
Why the election is so close?
1. White people.
2. Israel.
3. The junk food media holding double standards towards Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald J. Trump.
4. Lack of college education and personal bias.
I have a strong feeling I think Harris is going to win but do not count Trump out.
He has pulled off upsets before and the election could come down to a handful of states.
Suing the free press because you don't like the interview.... Priceless!
What makes it so ridiculous, Trump turned down a 60 Minutes interview. He feels comfortable being interviewed by Fox, Newsmax or interviewers friendly to him.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Amarillo, Texas, seeks $10 billion in damages and is just the latest litigation that Trump has filed against a media entity that broadcasts or publishes content he doesn’t like.
The lawsuit claims that the network violated Texas’ Deceptive Trade Practices Act, which generally is aimed at false advertising.
It's almost over.
Trump has been fixated on 60 Minutes and has threatened to sue CBS ever since it aired an interview with Harris as part of its election special on October 7.
Trump claims that CBS intentionally sought to present Harris’ more succinct answer in the 60 Minutes broadcast to help her campaign.
“To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakness, CBS used its national platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the exercise of judgment in reporting to deceitful, deceptive manipulation of news,” the lawsuit claimed.
Trump has called Harris a “very low IQ person,” and the lawsuit is the latest attack, late in the campaign, on her syntax. The latest filing seems designed to drive home some of Trump’s attacks on Harris and the media. It includes some of his Truth Social posts following the 60 Minutes interview, including one in which he called Harris a “moron.” The lawsuit gets the dates of the Face the Nation and 60 Minutes broadcasts wrong by a day.
A number of times before, the former president has filed lawsuits against media outlets, seeking to call attention to what he considers media unfairness, only to have judges dismiss the complaints. They include Trump lawsuits against the New York Times and CNN.
CBS said in a statement that Trump’s “repeated claims against 60 Minutes are false. The interview was not doctored and 60 Minutes did not hide any part of Vice President Harris’ answer to the question at issue. 60 Minutes fairly presented the interview to inform the audience, and not to mislead it. The lawsuit Trump brought against CBS is completely without merit and we will vigorously defend against it.”
As Trump continued to blast the network, the show told viewers that Harris’ two different responses were all one answer to the same question.
In a statement, the show said, “Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response.” Networks routinely trim interviews to fit into a segment length. Fox News, for instance, trimmed part of Trump’s town hall with Harris Faulkner, removing portions that showed audience participants openly advocating for the former president’s election, CNN reported.
In a letter sent to Trump’s legal team earlier this month, CBS News SVP Gayle C. Sproul wrote that “60 Minutes did not hide any part of the Vice President’s answer to the question at issue.”
The double standards of the Republican Party.
Former president Donald J. Trump can call people names, attack the weak or vulnerable and disrespect our country. The Republicans demand President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris lower the temperature whenever they say something offensive.
Biden said that the people attending the Trump Madison Square Garden rally were garbage. He referred to a comedian named Tony Hinchcliffe made the remarks about Puerto Rico being an island of garbage in the middle of the ocean.
Trump and the far right seized on it and demand the vice president respond to the president's remarks.
So in Wisconsin, Trump decided to troll by doing an appearance at a recycling center. He then struggled and nearly fell trying to enter a garbage truck.
Then of course, the junk food media covers it.
The coverage of Trump entering a garbage truck is ironic.
Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania called upon supporters to vote early because he believes the Democrats will cheat. Again, there is no evidence of voter fraud or attempts of fraud but Trump and Republicans will waste no time accusing the system of being rigged if he does lose.
Then he said he wants to protect women "whether they like it or not."
“I said, ‘Well, I’m going to do it, whether the women like it or not,’” Trump said. “I’m going to protect them.”
Yeah, Biden made the remark about Trump supporters being garbage. Harris denounces the president and said she wants to be a president for all the people.
Trump calls then scum and tell his supporters that "Crooked Joe" and "Lyin Kamalah" are the "enemy within."
But let's focus on the Harris campaign having to answer for every remark made by an ally or a surrogate.
Anuel A.A. and Nikki Jam no longer endorse Trump after the former president refused to condemn Hinchcliffe and the remarks about Puerto Rico.
You notice they are no longer concerned about Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH). He barely is mentioned and its overshadowed by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. It makes it seem like Vance is invisible and that is a concerning sign that the Trump campaign is collapsing. That is speculation not proven.
The junk food media gonna say he had a mental health issue. The shooter was bloodied.
When white people or Israel commits acts of violence, the U.S. junk food media pushes sympathetic language to give the impression it was a mental health episode or a defensive play.
President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Brian Kemp, Sen. Jon Osoff (D-GA), Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and the Georgia U.S. House members were notified.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the hospital before being booked.
The suspect opened fire from the 15th floor balcony at the Four Seasons hotel.
The 70-year-old suspect used a handgun, shotgun and rifle to fire shots during the altercation, Atlanta Chief of Police Darin Schierbaum said at a press conference. Two police officers shot back during the exchange. One officer and the suspect were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, but authorities didn’t know whether either were shot, Schierbaum said.
Police officers responded to a call around 10 a.m. about a mental health emergency in the residential area of the hotel in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood, Schierbaum said. Officers were told that the suspect had been involved in an altercation with a hotel employee, he said.
After police attempted to get the suspect to come to the door of his room and peacefully surrender, he started firing, Schierbaum said. The suspect also had multiple knives and threw at least one weapon off the balcony.
The suspect eventually raised his hands, and a SWAT team went to his door and took him into custody, Schierbaum said.
Police had set up a perimeter around the hotel and ordered a shelter in place advisory for nearby residents. They later lifted the advisory but asked people to avoid the area.
Authorities are investigating the altercation as an aggravated assault, Schierbaum said. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the officers’ use of force, he said.
Nearby streets in the area will remain closed as authorities investigate, police said.
The public outcry pressured the police to arrest a white man who shot a Black man. The police said the suspect was mentally ill and posed a threat to the public. Here's the kicker, the police didn't arrest him because they didn't want to put their lives at risk.
Minneapolis Police finally arrest shooter. They feared him.
The suspect, John Herbert Sawchak, 54, is believed to have shot his neighbor, Davis Moturi, on Oct. 23 from inside his Minneapolis home while the victim was cutting a tree.
The victim reported Sawchak several times before, including after Sawchak is said to have threatened to shoot the victim if he touched the same tree he was cutting when Wednesday's shooting occurred, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara.
When Moturi's wife got home, she believed her husband had suffered from a heart attack and Emergency Medical Services transported him to the hospital, O’Hara said during a press briefing Friday.
There, medical personnel discovered he'd been shot.
The victim could not remember what happened before he was found unconscious, including that fact that he was shot, O'Hara said. No witnesses were around at the time of the shooting.
USA TODAY reached out to the Minneapolis Police Department. Sergeant Garrett Parten confirmed the victim's name and directed USA TODAY to the press briefing on YouTube for the latest information.
Sawchak was charged with the following felonies, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department:
Second-degree attempted murder
First-degree assault
Stalking
Harassment
The suspect is being held on a $1 million bail and is set to a court appearance on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., according to the department's arrest records.
The victim had also reported his neighbor several times before the shooting and made several 911 calls regarding Sawchak. He also reported his neighbor before when he threatened to shoot him if he touched a specific tree, according to O’Hara.
"We failed this victim," O’Hara said Sunday night. "He should not have been shot."
So I just want to say that the Second Amendment is White, period.
All he wanted to do was trim a tree. A white extremist shot him.
A bullet does not care about color. We all bleed red and so many lives are lost to gun violence and Republicans offer no solutions other than "thoughts and prayers" with a touch of "lock em up."
Gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.
I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases.
Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.
According to the far right: White shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. According to the far right, almost all white [or non-white] mass shooters are registered Democrats [or some progressive activist] because they have liked or done one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share or post disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. The far right says a white person should "protect" themselves from thugs, terrorists or protesters. They believe the use of firearms are "justified" if they are protesting or even instigating a conflict. The far right believes if a shooter is a police officer, an active military member, a veteran or a citizen who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens in urban communities, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black.
The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms.
The Minneapolis Police failed Davis Moturi.
The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

Andrea Mitchell will still be on NBC and MSNBC. Her longtime program isn't.
The longtime NBC and MSNBC commentator will end her show.
Winners and losers of 2024.
Today is Andrea Mitchell's birthday. The veteran journalist and media personality announced she will be ending Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC.
She will continue to be on NBC and MSNBC.
That will shift the deck to Chris Jansing and Katy Tur.
Tur and Jose Diaz-Balart have has hosted when she was off.
Mitchell, 78 has been hosting “Andrea Mitchell Reports” in the daytime lineup since 2008, longer than anyone else at the network. She’s worked for NBC News since 1978, covering every major political convention since 1980.
She’ll continue to report for NBC News, and the network said she’ll be part of major breaking news and political events.
“After 16 years of being in the anchor chair every day, I want time to do more of what I love the most — more connecting, listening and reporting in the field, especially as whoever is elected president is going to undertake the monumental task of handling two foreign wars and the political divisions here at home,” she said on her show.
Mitchell will retain her titles as NBC News’ chief foreign affairs correspondent and chief Washington correspondent.
An evil regime. Israel outlaws the United Nations relief agencies.
"Bring them home" was all a farce. It was all about a damn land grab and extermination of indigenous people. They want to outlaw non Jewish, non white, non complaint people. They want to drag the United States and Great Britain into a war with Iran. They want to dismantle international law.
The United Nations is all talk and no action. They need to reign in on Israel now!
What gets me is that the United States' rivals, China, Russia, North Korea, Iran and Venezuela are calling out Israel for its actions. The actions are so bad, about 145 nations have threatened to boot Israeli officials out.
The United States is opposing the possibility that Israel being booted from the United Nations.
The United Nations is considering crippling sanctions and an embargo.
The United States lawmakers are considering punishing the United Nations if they carry out any of these measures.
In a shocking but unsurprising move, the Knesset voted to make the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) a terrorist organization. That means the Israel Defence Force can carry out assassinations and arrest of aid workers. They can continue to indiscriminately bomb schools, relief agencies and medical facilities associated with UNRWA.
This move will totally eliminate the humanitarian aid needed for those living in Gaza, East Jerusalem and the West Bank. It will allow Israel to confiscate rations, computers, medical supplies and fuel.
Anyone who posted on social media or even cheered the actions of Oct. 7 are considered terrorists.
President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Congress, former president Donald J. Trump, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and the junk food media will pivot when questioned about Israel. They will offer the usual talking points about how Israel has a right to defend itself.
UNRWA provides essential services to millions of Palestinians across the Middle East and has underpinned aid efforts in Gaza throughout the Israel-Hamas war. Legislation barring it from operating in Israel passed with an overwhelming majority Monday. Israel says UNRWA has allowed itself to be infiltrated by Hamas, with the militants siphoning off aid and using the agency’s facilities as shields. UNRWA denies the allegations, saying it is committed to neutrality and acts quickly to address any wrongdoing by its staff.
No one is going to stop UNRWA.
The two newly passed laws are all but certain to hamper UNRWA’s work in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, as Israel controls access to both territories. But the details of how the legislation would be implemented, and potential workarounds, remain unclear. It could also face legal challenges.
Either way, the laws could have major consequences for Palestinians in Gaza, who are heavily reliant on emergency food aid more than a year into a war that has killed tens of thousands, according to local officials who don’t distinguish combatants from civilians; displaced 90% of the population of 2.3 million; and left much of the territory in ruins.
The first law prohibits UNRWA from “operating any mission, providing any service or conducting any activity, either directly or indirectly, within Israel’s sovereign territory,” according to a statement from parliament.
It’s unclear whether UNRWA would still be able to operate inside Gaza and the West Bank, territories Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war but has never formally annexed. The Palestinians want both to be part of a future state.
The second law prohibits Israeli state agencies from communicating with UNRWA and revokes an agreement dating to 1947, before Israel was created, under which it facilitated UNRWA’s work.
With Israel controlling all access to Gaza and the West Bank, it could be difficult for UNRWA staff to enter and leave the territories through Israeli checkpoints, and to bring in vital supplies for its schools, health centers and humanitarian programs.
UNRWA and its staff would also lose their tax exemptions and legal immunities.
Israel by obligation must find a replacement but I highly doubt they will despite Biden's warning that he could pull military funding (which he hasn't since Israel's invasion into Rafah). The Biden administration had pushed for an increase in humanitarian aid within 30 days or Israel faces cuts to U.S. military aid and assistance.
Rights groups say Israel is obliged under international law to provide for the basic needs of people in the territories it occupies.
State Department smirksman Matthew Miller said the United States was “deeply troubled” by the legislation, which “poses risks for millions of Palestinians who rely on UNRWA for essential services.”
“We are going to engage with the government of Israel in the days ahead about how they plan to implement it” and see whether there are any legal challenges, he said.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement Monday that Israel is“ready to work with our international partners to ensure Israel continues to facilitate humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza in a way that does not threaten Israel’s security.”
But many of those partners insist there is no alternative to UNRWA.
A spokesperson for the U.N. children’s agency, which also provides aid to Gaza, denounced the new laws in unusually strong language, saying “a new way has been found to kill children.”
James Elder said the loss of UNRWA “would likely see the collapse of the humanitarian system in Gaza.” His agency, known as UNICEF, “would become effectively unable to distribute lifesaving supplies,” such as vaccines, winter clothes, water and food to combat malnutrition.
Israeli officials are considering the possibility of having the military or private contractors take over aid distribution, but have yet to develop a concrete plan, according to two officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the closed-door discussions.
COGAT referred all questions on the new legislation to the government.
Israel wants to disable all humanitarian aid to starve Gazans and Lebanese people.
At risk is not just UNRWA’s aid delivery to Gaza, where it is also the largest employer. UNRWA also operates schools in the occupied West Bank serving over 330,000 children, as well as health care centers and infrastructure projects.
Amy Pope — head of the International Organization for Migration, another U.N. body — said it would not be able to fill the gap left by UNRWA, which she described as “absolutely essential.”
“They provide education. They provide health care. They provide some of the most basic needs, for people who have been living there for decades,” she said.
Israel has used the Hannibal Directive to kill their own as well as Palestinians.
Israel has allegedly killed over 50,000 people. In reality over 204,000 people.
If Israel does replace it under their control, expect tainted products and explosives planted inside it.
They carried out terrorist attacks in Lebanon and Iran. And the junk food media acts like Iran retaliating against Israel is the worst thing to happen. Netanyahu has personally been in communications with Trump to carry on the genocide to depress turnout for Harris.
Harris has lost support among Muslims and Arab voters. Her staunch stance towards Israel is a huge problem. She continues to parrot the lies that Hamas raped women and killed 1,200 people.
Trump also has a staunch stance towards Israel. He pulled out of the P5+1 which had Iran follow the proposals to regulate its nuclear program. Israel opposed it and pushed Trump to undo former president Barack Obama's achievement.
Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem despite many other nations refusing to acknowledge the city as the capital of Israel. Tel Aviv is the largest city and official capital of Israel. However, many see the country as one of the last colonialist apartheids in the world.
The Ellipse is where a presidential candidate is making final plea to save democracy.
Former president Donald J. Trump did an emergency press conference to address voter problems in counties friendly to him. He appeared over an hour and half late, rambled on about immigration, complained about Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden and the usual bullshit that he vomits out.
He then made a play on Fox with the most annoying ass kissing, word vomiting, gas bag of human excrement we know as Sean "Softball" Hannity.
If Trump loses, I hope Fox retires that annoying piece of shit. His show is stale and boring. Most viewers rather change the channel whenever Hannity vomits the same tired crap on his right wing shitshow.
He isn't Rush Limbaugh.
He isn't Alex Jones.
He isn't Bill O'Reilly.
He isn't Mark Levin.
He isn't Tucker Carlson.
He isn't Glenn Beck.
He isn't Joe Rogan.
Hell, he isn't Michael Savage. At least these agitators have character, a strong following, good ratings and legacy. Be as it may, these agitators are going to be in the history books despite their controversies.
Hannity will be a blip on the books. He will have no one remember him.
He will die a miserable man. He may be a good at appealing to conservatives and MAGAland in the media, but even they can't stomach him. He is the most annoying media personality in the history of television.
Trump claims he didn't know the guy. That idiot had him as "Kill Tony". They previewed the script and it was on the teleprompter. They invited him to speak and give his endorsement. You can't be serious.
This comedian may have cost Trump the election. If this does come to fruition, I will make sure this will be on the 2024 Yearly Wrap Up.
The vice president made her closing argument at the Ellipse, the site where Trump instigate his supporters to storm the U.S. Capitol. That event will go down in history as a moment of infamy.
Everything between 1/20/2017 until 1/20/2021 was chaos under Trump. Do not let the Republican Party change history by claiming President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were responsible for the unrest in 2020.
Biden was a private citizen and Harris was a senator. Trump failed to address the controversies with racial justice and the pandemic.
Harris plans to lay out her campaign’s closing argument by returning to the site near the White House where Trump helped incite a mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol in January 2021 — hoping it will crystalize for voters the fight between defending democracy and sowing political chaos.
This "I alone can fix it" nonsense. This buffoon is not serious about the presidential campaign.
Her campaign says Harris will give a speech at the Ellipse on Tuesday — one week before Election Day — and will urge the nation to “turn the page” toward a new era and away from Trump.
The site is symbolic, since it’s where Trump delivered a speech on Jan. 6, 2021, as Congress was convening to certify Joe Biden’s victory in the election that past November. In it, Trump lied repeatedly about widespread voter fraud that had not occurred and urged supporters to fight. Hundreds then stormed the Capitol in a deadly riot.
Word of the speech came from a senior Harris campaign official who insisted on anonymity to discuss an address that is still in development. The Harris campaign is betting that her speaking at the Ellipse can provide an opportunity for the vice president to stress that the country no longer wants to be defined by a political combativeness that Trump seems to relish.
Trump has promised to pardon those jailed for their role in the Capitol attack should he reclaim the presidency during the election Nov. 5.
Closing arguments are important opportunities for candidates to sum up their campaigns and make a concise case for why voters should back them. Trump’s campaign suggested he’d begin framing his closing argument while addressing a rally last weekend in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Instead, the former president spent more than 10 minutes talking about the genitals of the late, legendary golfer Arnold Palmer, who was born in Latrobe.
Her team announced the coming Ellipse addressed before Harris attended a CNN town hall in suburban Philadelphia on Wednesday night, where she took questions from an audience of undecided voters as part of what was once envisioned as a debate with Trump. Harris had said she would participate in a CNN debate but the two sides never worked out a formal agreement. CNN said it also invited Trump to a town hall. but that it didn’t happen.
Harris told the audience that Jan. 6 saw a “president of the United States defying the will of the people in a free and fair election and unleashing a violent mob who attacked the United States Capitol.”
The first audience question was from a self-described “anti-Trump Republican” who was concerned about the Jan. 6 attack.
“I believe the American people deserve better, and they deserve a president who is focused on solutions, not sitting in the Oval Office plotting every day,” Harris said.
Trump rather get his interviews from lemmings like Sean "Softball" Hannity.
When it comes to Jan. 6, about 4 in 10 likely voters in a CNN poll from September said the economy was their most important issue when deciding how to vote, and about 2 in 10 said protecting democracy was. That compared to about 1 in 10 who named either immigration or abortion and reproductive rights.
Protecting democracy also seems to be more important to Democrats and Harris supporters. Roughly 4 in 10 voters who back Harris call it their top issue, compared to about 2 in 10 who say that about the economy. For Republicans and Trump supporters, about 6 in 10 name the economy as their top voting issue, followed by immigration. Only 5% of Trump supporters said protecting democracy was their top issue.
During the town hall, Harris said Trump is “increasingly unstable and unfit to serve.” Asked directly if she thought her opponent was a fascist, Harris responded, “Yes, I do.”
A short time later, Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt responded, “Kamala will say anything to distract from her open border invasion and record high inflation.”
During the event, Harris was asked how her presidency would be different from Biden’s given that she’s been a part of his administration for nearly four years — a question she’s answered in recent weeks without naming major contrasts. This time, Harris seemed better prepared to talk about how things would be different, saying, “My administration will not be a continuation of the Biden administration” and saying she represented a “new generation of leadership on a number of issues.”
Urged by some allies to apologize for racist comments made by speakers at his weekend rally, Donald Trump took the opposite approach on Tuesday, saying it was an “honor to be involved” in such an event and calling the scene a “lovefest” — the same term he has used to describe the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Trump gathered supporters and reporters to his Mar-a-Lago resort two days after a massive rally at Madison Square Garden featured a number of crude remarks by various speakers, including a set by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe in which he joked that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of garbage.” Some of Trump’s top Republican allies have condemned the remarks, and his campaign took the rare step of publicly distancing itself from Hinchcliffe’s joke, though not the other comments.
But given the opportunity to apologize at multiple events and in interviews Tuesday, Trump instead leaned in. Speaking at his Florida resort, he said that “there’s never been an event so beautiful” as his Sunday rally in his hometown of New York.
“The love in that room. It was breathtaking,” he said. “It was like a lovefest, an absolute lovefest. And it was my honor to be involved.”
