Whenever a cop answers a domestic violence call, they are most at risk of a potential attack. The issue of gun violence is front and center.

This will hopefully get attention.

Donald J. Trump, Gov. Eric Greitens, Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Sen. Clarie McCaskill (D-MO) will offer their phony sympathy and condescending condolences.
Rep. Vick Hartzler (R-MO) offers her heart and fake sympathy as well.
Shooting deaths of police officers up 78% this year. We must restore law and order and protect our great law enforcement officers!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 28, 2016
(1/2) Grieving for the families & the officers of the Clinton Police Dept who lost another one of their own last night in the line of duty. Officer Christopher Ryan Morton gave the #UltimateSacrifice.— Rep. Vicky Hartzler (@RepHartzler) March 7, 2018
(2/2) Two others injured. It's 7 mo to the day from when Clinton Officer Gary Michael was killed. I met with the dept last year after that incident; they're an amazing, professional, dedicated, caring unit. My prayers are with them all. #thinblueline #nogreaterlove @MSHPTrooperA— Rep. What angers me, is that these lawmakers continue to allow this to happen. Instead of solving the problem of gun violence, they continue loosen laws that make easier for suspects to obtain firearms.
Also, the officers responded to the wrong house. They initially responded to a call of two women arguing. They ended up going to wrong house and suspect thought he was being jacked.
Regardless, there is no war on cops. It's a war on rational thought. Only stupid politicians offer silence and condolences. Rational politicians respond with action.
If you want cops to be protected, how about banning assault weapons.
