They ask 100 people about a description of zombies. Name something that best describes zombies.
Contestant Christie: [They're] Black!
The pause. The look from the opponents, a Black family. The look from Steve Harvey.
The nonchalant response that "I don't know, they're probably White zombies too!"
This is a taping of Family Feud. The oft canny remarks from the young White woman stunned Harvey and the Black family. It caused a bit of an uproar on the internet.
Broderick Steven "Steve" Harvey (born January 17, 1957) is an American actor, comedian, entertainer, television/radio personality and author. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey, and Family Feud. He is the author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was published in March 2009, and the book Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man.
The deer in the headlights moment.
He was born in West Virginia, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He resides in Atlanta where he tapes Family Feud. He also is the host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show on most syndicated radio stations.
He also has a daytime program called Steve Harvey. It's taped in Chicago and Atlanta on occasions.
Harvey starred in the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, and he was featured in The Original Kings of Comedy. He also hosts the Steve Harvey Project, on an extended cable channel.
Something is eerily in my bones and my heart about this missing woman who left her job at a local strip club.
Could this woman be the body that was found on Monday in a Dayton, Ohio park?
The local junk food media reports that a body was found in Art Van Atta Park. Workers were clearing brush found a badly decomposed body near the road. They called the law.
There's a woman from Preble County who was declared missing last month. This is the first thing that comes to mind. Aria Spradling, a 20-year-old woman from Eaton about 30 miles from Dayton. She was leaving her job at the Harem Gentleman's Club the night she went missing. The young mother was struggling to make money and pay off debts (from criminal acts). She takes a job over at the strip club to make easy money.
Her mother pleads to the community to help find her daughter. She last saw Aria on September 28 when she took her daughter to work at The Harem Gentlemen’s Club on Dixie Drive. Aria’s infant daughter Maleigha was with them.
“I had dropped her off, and she hugged me, and I hugged her, and she kissed me and she goes, 'I'll see you in a couple days, mama.' And I said, 'Okay.' She kissed Maleigha. Maleigha was sleeping,” Melissa said. “I drove off, and a few days later, she didn't call. And she always calls to check on her baby. She would never not call us. I told her dad, my husband Dale, 'I know in my heart something is wrong, because this is not her.'”
Melissa Spradling said her daughter worked only occasionally at The Harem. When Aria left work that night, she left with a strange man, according to what some of her coworkers told Melissa.
“I've talked to a few of the coworkers of hers, and a few of them have said she did leave with a strange guy, but they don't know anything else,” she said.
Since then, her phone has been off, making it impossible for police to track the phone.
Melissa Spradling is hoping her daughter is found. Aria Spradling is a mother of a child.
The Montgomery County death checker is planning on looking into missing persons and dental records to determine who the victim was.
The case is unusual, because Melissa said her daughter has never left and failed to call and check on Maleigha. Aria spent a little time in jail before her probation, and even then, she called to check in with her family.
“The reason her being gone now strikes us now as odd is because (Melissa) said even when she was in jail, she'd call every day to check on the baby,” DePew said. “For her not to stay in touch with mom and check on her daughter is incredibly unusual.”
Melissa said the last contact with Aria was a phone call after that night.
“She called her sister Ashley, and she said, 'Ashley, I'm in trouble. Please help me.' That's all she said.”
Around the same time, there was an incident in the same area in which passers-by reported a woman being put into a car by multiple men. There were clothes found at the scene, and the EPD is awaiting DNA tests to determine if the clothes belonged to Aria.
“I think it could be her,” Melissa said. “I just know something bad has happened to her.”
She also said Aria had usually stayed with friends in Dayton while working, but she stayed somewhere else on this particular trip.
“She usually stayed with her friends, but her friends tell me that she stayed with this new guy friend that we don't know. We don't know nothing about him,” Melissa said.
DePew said there have been several leads in the case, and his department has interviewed numerous people.
“Right now, we're to the point where we want to get her information out in front of the community, in front of the public, hoping that maybe there's someone out there who has seen her or has some information who would be able to help us find Aria,” DePew said. ”With the time frame she's been gone, obviously we consider that to be urgent circumstances. The sooner we can find her, the better.”
Melissa said she had heard from Aria on the night prior, and Aria said she made a considerable amount of money, which was then stolen from her. She said she was working the next night, the last night she was seen, to make up for the money.
Aria was last seen leaving her job at an adult club.
Melissa had a message for her daughter and anyone who might have her in their custody: “To whoever has my daughter, Aria Spradling, my boo bear, please let her go,” Melissa said. “Take her to a hospital or a police station, wherever you have her. Aria, honey, I love you with all my heart. And your baby girl is fine, and we're just waiting for you to come home. I love you.”
Aria is 5-foot-6, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos, including a large flower/skull pattern on her upper right arm, the name “Maleigha” on her left forearm, the name “Timothy” on her upper thigh, the word “Family” on one of her calves, and the words “Life/Death” on her other calf.
Many people have traveled through the North Dixie Drive area. It's in the unincorporated community of Northridge.
North Dixie Drive is the adult play place. There's at least five strip clubs on that road.
Some witnesses said that the woman was leaving with a stranger of Middle Eastern descendant. The law interviewed the person and he denies that he was with the woman.
It's kind of strange though. Usually a strip club has a lot of security cameras and visual guards watching each performer on their way out when they get off work. What happened?
Did someone sleep on the job?
Did someone actually see her get into a car with a stranger?
TAKE DISCRETION IN READING THIS. THIS CONTAINS IMAGES THAT ARE DISTURBING.
It's something I've never heard of!
But I guess in the mind of the racist right, "them bored Black youth" are creating a game that's literally a hit!
The game requires a group of teens who randomly knock out a complete stranger. It's called the "knockout game" and people are actually doing this stuff in front of cameras.
Nintendo's classic game Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Mike Tyson, 47 is a former WBA champion endorsed this game when he was an undefeated boxer in his mid 20s.
Knockout, also known as the knockout game and knockout king, is a violent activity played by punching an unsuspecting bystander with the object of knocking that individual unconscious in a single punch. The game has resulted in serious injuries and death for its victims and corresponding criminal charges for those playing it.
There's been confirmed attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., St. Louis, Atlanta, and Hoboken, New Jersey.
I am guessing in some of these incidents, one person is saying it's "for the fun of it!"
Incidents that occurred according to Wikipedia are listed here:
Those who died after being fatally assaulted.
September 10, 2013 (Hoboken, New Jersey): Three teenage boys are charged with the murder of 46-year-old Ralph Santiago.
May 23, 2013 (Syracuse, New York): 51-year-old Michael Daniels dies a day after being attacked. A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old have been arrested and charged with manslaughter.
September 20, 2012 (St. Cloud, Minnesota): 20 year-old local college student Colton Ryan Gleason dies from injuries after being punched in the head by a 17 year-old local teenager.
April 16, 2011 (St. Louis, Missouri): 72 year-old Hoang Nguyen is killed when punched in the head by an 18 year-old local teenager. Nguyen's assailant was sentenced to 55 years in prison.
1992 (Cambridge, Massachusetts): 21 year-old MIT student Yngve Raustein, of Norway, dies when he is punched in the face and then stabbed in the heart by local teenagers.
Those who were seriously injured in felonious assault.
October 4, 2012 (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania): 50-year-old high school teacher James Addlespurger was struck while walking past a group of teenagers in an alleyway in broad daylight. Addlespurger fell face first and his head struck a curb.
Now some have been arrested for this crime. A thing that happens in 90% of BLACK ON WHITE cases.
Somehow whenever a WHITE ON BLACK crime is committed in America, the racist right go right to That Guy Who Throw Shit To The Wall's website to find the latest BLACK ON WHITE crime. They look on that website for every BLACK figure who says "DAT'S RACIST".
Let's take for example, George Zimmerman getting arrested. That's one example for the racist right to complain. Second, there's Oprah's comments. Right up your alley right?
Here's some more disturbing images from victims of this knockout game.
For every time a Black criminal commits an act on White person, the racist right will bring up President Barack Obama or Trayvon Martin. You'll hear that's "one of Obama's sons" in one of their word vomits.
Then they end up here complaining about how we don't cover this tragedy in America.
We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those who died because of this violent event.
Don Lemon confronts Black writer who hates being stereotyped as a NIGGER.
CNN anchor still trying to get his "ghetto pass" reinstated. Don Lemon confronts a self-loathing Black writer on the issues of race in the country.
It's got a big jolt when Oprah Winfrey went to the BBC to express her disappointing in how Americans view President Barack Obama in the prism of his race. She believes that the reason for his woes is mostly due to the racial extremism from his critics.
Orville Lloyd Douglas, Canadian opinion writer.
Of course, this is a goldmine for the conservative agitators. They can't stand being called a "racist". They believe its a double standard when it comes to the word NIGGER. They believe that the LEFT is trying to silence their freedom to hate.
They believe that "the Blacks" are atoned to saying NIGGA to one another. They believe that we police White America from the usage of the racial slur.
Again, we don't police your usage of the racial slur. The best thing we can do to you is basically prove a point. With the digital age, what you say or do will come back to bite you in the ass. You can say as much as you want about "us Black folk".
It's your right to be the condescending asshole you made yourself out to be.
We can't deny you that right to be who you are!
But think about it! If you have a job, a company, friends and loved ones. Oh, your words against us can break you! Just think if the stuff you say becomes a viral sensation.
You'll be lucky they don't find out your address and send you threatening letters.
Don Lemon catches a lot of flack for his outspoken views of Black America.
Mediaite reports that Orville Lloyd Douglas explained to Lemon why he wrote such a highly charged column and what it’s like for him being a black man.
Douglas admitted he’s mainly talking about the stereotypes surrounding black men regarding his self-hatred, saying it’s hard for people who don’t conform to the stereotypes of black men to live in society.
Don Lemon (right) and his boyfriend Ben Tinker.
Lemon was somewhat baffled by what he was saying, asking him why he doesn't just let himself define who he is and not worry about other people. Douglas, a Canadian, explained race is handled with kid gloves up there, especially to the “more progressive way” it’s talked about in America.
Lemon credited Douglas for being very brave to come out like he is, especially with all the online hate he’s getting, but also pressed him on rejecting the self-hatred. Lemon said he should just “learn to love being black” and not to “let other people define who you are.”
Douglas also talked about diversity in Canada, as well as racial and social issues that aren't being dealt with in Toronto. If only they had a competent mayor who could f… oh, wait.
Some of Douglas' article obtained from the Guardian included:
A lot of black men don't want to acknowledge the feelings of disgust we have for ourselves. It is considered emasculating to even admit the existence of such thoughts. I think my own self-hated manifests from the exterior, from the outside world. It is born out of the despair and the unhappiness I see within a lot of young black men. I can honestly say I hate being a black male. Although black people like to wax poetic about loving their label I hate "being black". I just don't fit into a neat category of the stereotypical views people have of black men. In popular culture black men are recognized in three areas: sports, crime, and entertainment. I hate rap music, I hate most sports, and I like listening to rock music such as PJ Harvey, Morrissey, and Tracy Chapman. I have nothing in common with the archetypes about the black male. There is so much negativity and criminal suspicion associated with being a black male in Toronto. Yet, I don't have a criminal record, and I certainly don't associate with criminals. In fact, I abhor violence, and I resent being compared to young black males (or young people of any race) who are lazy, not disciplined, or delinquent. Usually, when black male youth are discussed in Toronto, it is about something going wrong. Honestly, who would want to be black? Who would want people to be terrified of you and not want to sit next to you on public transportation?
Just another day of bashing President Barack Obama because he's....well you know!
Details emerged in the latest controversy surrounding the Florida man who was acquitted of murder of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin.
George Zimmerman has a girlfriend and I guess he threatened her. This time around she decided to call the law on his ass. And yes, he's expecting a child from this woman.
Now facing aggravated assault charges, Zimmerman now sits in the James Polk Lock Up after he and his girlfriend got into it. I guess the heated argument forced him to pull his firearm on her.
Shellie Zimmerman lied for him and got perjury charges against her. She also called the law on his ass after he threatened her with a firearm.
Samantha Scheibe is on the 911 call telling the dispatcher that Zimmerman is acting a fool:
"I'm doing this again? You just broke my glass table, you just broke my sunglasses and you just put your gun in my friggin' face and told me to get the fuck out, this is not your house!" Scheibe says on the phone.
Zimmerman in hiding was with his girlfriend at the home in Apopka, Florida not too far from Sanford, Florida.
On top of the felonious assault charge, he's facing battery and criminal mischief.
Scheibe is the same woman who was with Zimmerman when his estranged wife called the law on him when he ran up on her.
Shellie Zimmerman didn't press charges on him. But this time around, his girlfriend did!
Scheibe can be heard being forced out of her own home during the call.
"Are you fucking kidding me? He just pushed me out of my fucking house and locked me out", Scheibe said on the 911 call.
Zimmerman decided to barricade himself in the home and when Seminole County sheriff deputies demanded him to come out, he was fooling around.
New beau ratted him out!
"I just want everyone to know the truth", said Zimmerman in the call.
People in the neighborhood didn't know that the country's most hated man was living there.
WFTV (Orlando) reports that if Zimmerman is granted bond, he will be placed on electronic monitoring again, and must avoid his girlfriend. This is common among domestic disputes.
The authorities managed to get a gun case.
One neighbor thought that a pudgy looking guy with a scruffy beard was an "undercover cop".
Catherine Cantrell told WFTV that she thought that Schiebe's boyfriend was very quiet, walked in and out.
Cantrell never thought that Zimmerman (being the guy acquitted of murder) a neighbor.
This incident also adds to the latest run-ins the junk food media covered. The former neighborhood watchman now 30 years old had "saved" a family from an accident off Interstate 4 in Sanford. He would also land in hot water that very same month on Interstate 95 with a Florida State Patrol officer for having tint and dark covered tags. He was granted a warning. Then when he was riding in Texas he was going too fast on a rural highway. He was granted a warning. Then in October he was stopped near Lake Mary for going 60 in a 45 mph zone. He was given a ticket. The last brush up included his wife calling the law on him after she claimed he punched her father. Then he was accused of stealing property from his mother-in-law.
Also he was arrested in 2005 after he attacked an undercover officer after he was trying to interfere with the arrest of one of his friends.
Trayvon Martin wasn't perfect. But at least he wasn't a crazy asshole like that guy who shot and killed him.
He also was in trouble after he threatened his ex-fiance at the time. There was a restraining order handed to him after a domestic violence dispute. Zimmerman retaliated and got his restraining order. No charges were filed against both parties.
Granted that his father, brother and Frank Taaffe aren't making his name any better. Zimmerman's closest allies have expressed racial statements about young Black teens. Robert Zimmerman, the brother had posted inflammatory statements about Black youth on his social networks.
Again, we here at Journal de la Reyna believe in a fair trial. Despite this guy getting away with murder, he is innocent until proven guilty. If found guilty on these charges, he may face at least 5 years in the iron college.
I don't know how the Florida criminal sentencing works, but it's more than likely at least five for every domestic dispute that involved physical contact.
America's most outspoken entertainer is back in the studio prepping for his newest album. He is also making a statement about his fellow Chicagoan who happens to be the President of The United States.
While promoting himself, his acts John Legend, Pusha T and Big Sean on the GOOD Music label, the 36-year old Kanye West blast the junk food media.
Currently he's doing his Yeezus tour. It's based of the rapper's recent album release.
He's engaged to reality celebriturd Kim Kardashian, who is the mother of baby North.
It comes as no surprise that West follows what goes on in America. And when it comes to politics, the rapper/producer has no love for politicos.
While in Philadelphia, he appears on Hot 107.9 FM. The entertainer declared that "Barack Obama" isn't going to be mentioned by name ever again.
They asked the entertainer if he would ever break bread with President Barack Obama:
Oh, you talking about how he use to come and visit me and my mama and tell me he's about to run for president? I just think that we're pop icons, and the president likes to use that type of thing just to be down. People was fine with me being everyone's punching bag for about five years. "This is the person we love to hate, so if you want to distract people from everything that's going on [...] just say you hate Kanye and there's going be 30 other people who say they hate Kanye." That was kind of my position in culture and he kind of used that too. "Oh, he's a jackass," because that's how the world felt. I don't care if someone's the president or not. I care about thoughts and how you helping people and what you bring to the world. My music brings joy to people. What I create brings joy to people. Me, I'm not about me. I'm about I've got an idea that people are going to like. Don't you get frustrated around Christmas time dealing with clothing? Don't you get frustrated with so many things? That's Steve Jobs made things easier for people in life.
Before he went even further into his rant, the hosts interrupted him. They warned him not to aim at First Lady Michelle Obama.
West would later elaborate in reference to his fiance:
Well, uh, I think he should mention my baby mama's name, because we both from Chicago. [...] But no, I'm not gonna mention him no more, I'm passed that. That's out my thoughts. That's lowering my priority of thinking at this point.
In 2009, President Barack Obama criticized West when he jumped the stage at the MTV Music Awards and stole the highlight moment from pop singer Taylor Swift.
He face some huge criticism after this controversy. There's so many things I would say about President Barack Obama. One thing is clear, he's got a lot of heat on him.
Because of the ongoing agitators in the junk food media and that stupid website for the Healthcare Marketplace, things aren't getting done.
Congress is inept in getting aid to victims of disasters. They can't pass a jobs bill. They can't pass a bill that stops military rape. They can't pass immigration reform. They can't pass a bill that helps fix infrastructure.
And even though we seen numerous firearm massacres in the United States, Congress isn't working on reasonable gun control bills.
It's the reasons to why President Barack Obama is being criticized as a "lame duck". Even though he won reelection easily, the Republicans still bitter over his victory are now hoping they can ruin his legacy by taking the focus off of jobs and the priorities on Obamacare.
Kanye West appears on Roc-A-Fella Records. He is affiliated with GOOD Music.
He is aiming for a lifetime stay in the iron college.
George Zimmerman is arrested again.
Got acquitted of murder and yet he manages to test the bar. It's going to be highly likely he'll commit a crime and he may not be able escape the charge.
The Associated Press and the Orlando Sentinel reports that Zimmerman was involved in a disturbance in the Seminole County area. According to WFTV (Orlando), the deputies have been called to the area where he's hiding.
The unincorporated Apopka, Florida is close to Lake Mary. That's where his estranged wife Shellie lives.
The disturbance was at a residence. But its allegedly a domestic violence incident.
He is in the John E. Polk lockup in Sanford, Florida today.
This is an ongoing story, we'll be covering the latest developments here on Journal de la Reyna.
Washington, Illinois suffered a mass outbreak of late season tornadoes.
From Kansas to New York, the heartland was hit with a bunch of massive storms that spawn tornadoes and damaging winds. Many Americans were rocked by late season weather that proved to be devastating.
We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those lost in this horrible tragedy.
Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and numerous states have confirmed a tornado touchdown.
How is this possible in the middle of the fall season?
Somehow it's a pattern that we've come accustomed to. I live in Ohio and the weather events are unique.
About three weeks ago they had an EF-0 tornado hit my community. And then we had about an inch of snow a week ago. Now last night we experienced a weather event that caused super cell storms which launched over 70 tornadoes.
Storm spotters see an EF-4 tornado.
Governors Pat Quinn (Illinois), Mike Pence (Indiana), John Kasich (Ohio), Tom Corbett (Pennsylvania) and Steve Beshear (Kentucky) declared a state of emergency for areas ravaged by the storm events.
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden may tour the area in the coming days.
In Peoria and Washington, Illinois to Lebanon and Kokomo, Indiana there were confirmed EF-4 tornadoes that ravaged through the communities.
At confirmation there's at least 10 deaths from this weather event.
Again if you want to help especially when it comes to blood and cash donations, visit the American Red Cross and the United Way for assistance.
Conservatives are gleeful that the president's second term is going down hard.
Even at one of the president's favorite events, say a basketball game, the crowd is a tad bit unruly.
It seems like with a job approval in the 30s and 40s means that you're a lame duck.
The American Care Act is an anchor that hung around the president's neck despite the country going through a government shutdown that cost over $24 billion in lost revenue.
The Republicans took a huge hit for this and yet they've managed to take the heat off them for a moment.
The Democrats who are barely holding control of the U.S. Senate fear that the junk food media's coverage of the healthcare law will doom their chances at the Midterms.
Also at this basketball game being played by the University of Oregon (coached by the president's brother-in-law, Craig Robinson) and the University of Maryland, you can hear cheers and a bunch of loud boos.
Yeah, the media mogul is strung up in this controversy involuntarily. After a young man went into the luxury store and purchased a belt, he thought he was going to be the fliest cat on the block.
The belt was high end and he had the credit. But as he got down the street, he was stopped by the NYPD.
He and many others filed a class action lawsuit against Barneys. There's a boycott on the business and of course Shawn Carter (aka Jay-Z) is a spokesperson and brand to the luxury store.
Now he's coming under a huge amount of criticism for embracing the company. He told the junk food media that he's down with Barneys.
The Associated Press reports that Jay-Z announced Friday he’ll move forward with a planned collaboration with Barneys New York despite recent allegations of racial profiling at the luxury store, an ongoing investigation into the claims and public pressure that he back out of the deal.
In a statement on his website, Jay-Z said he’d agreed to move forward with next week’s launch of his BNY SCC collection under the condition that he helps lead the store’s review of its policies.
“The easy position would have been to walk away and leave policymaking to others hoping that someone addresses the problem,” said Jay-Z. “I will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend, review and revise policies and guidelines moving forward. I am choosing to take this head on.”
He said 100 percent of sales from the collection of clothes, accessories and jewelry will go toward his charitable foundation, which supports educational opportunities for disadvantaged students, and an additional 10 percent of all Barneys’ sales during Wednesday’s launch day will also be donated.
Barneys New York facing a huge lawsuit over profiling Black shoppers.
Barneys New York said in a statement that it guaranteed raising a minimum of $1 million Wednesday to be donated to the foundation.
“Barneys New York has zero tolerance for any form of discrimination,” the statement said. “As we have stated all along, if we learn any procedures or practices are not consistent with our zero-tolerance policy, we will immediately take corrective action including terminating those employees responsible.”
Last month, two black customers separately accused the luxury store of racial profiling after they said they lawfully purchased expensive items but were detained by police on suspicion of credit card fraud.
See you in court! - Trayon Christian.
Trayon Christian sued Barneys, saying he was accused of fraud after using his debit card to buy a $349 Ferragamo belt in April. Kayla Philips filed a notice of claim saying she would sue after she was stopped by detectives outside the store when she bought a $2,500 Celine handbag in February.
Ron Brown, an actor who appears on the HBO series “Treme,” also filed a lawsuit in October against Macy’s, alleging he’d been similarly detained and questioned after he was stopped for possible credit card fraud while shopping at the department store. Brown is black.
Macy’s has said none of its employees were involved in Brown’s detention and questioning. On Friday, Barneys said its own investigation has determined none of its employees were involved in stopping Christian or Philips.
An investigation by the state attorney general’s office is “ongoing and active,” a spokeswoman said Friday.
New York Police Department Commissioner Raymond Kelly has said it is standard practice for retailers to call police if they believe crimes have been committed. The NYPD didn't immediately respond to a message seeking comment Friday.
Jay-Z’s decision to not immediately bow out of his Barneys collaboration when the racial profiling allegations surfaced drew a firestorm of criticism on Twitter and an online petition that urged the rap mogul to bow out.
Jay-Z appears on Roc-A-Fella Records and Roc Nation, LLC.
Breitfart wants Black commentator fired for embracing the infamous racial slur.
Conservatives: Why "you people" say the N-word like it's nothing? When we say it, you call us racist!
This is what the racial extremists believe. They feel like "us Black folk" police their usage of the N-word.
In a country that allows the "freedom of speech", we allow the racial extremists to say the slur. When you say the slur and you happen to be a White person, you may find yourself at the end of a boycott or public shaming. Yeah, there's a such thing as public shaming, because we figure that putting your face in the open proves Oprah Winfrey's point.
She said that it's still here in the United States and for all this to go away, the old school extremists must die off and maybe we can move forward to racial unity.
Since May 2012, interracial births skyrocketed. It's going to be in less than 30 years, WHITES (Non-Hispanic) will eventually become a minority.
No I'm not trying to sound racist or endorse actual statistics. I hate touching the third rail of race. You know that it's honey to a critic. We all agree its a sensitive topic.
I have no animosity towards anyone's race, gender, sexuality, nationality, political and economic standings.
But no matter what I say or do, or even write on this blog, someone will always assume "I'm a racist" because I criticize a conservative or point out an issue involving race.
Everyone is human in my eye. Despite our differences, we are human beings first, Americans second and our race, third.
Conservatives don't understand the plight and continue to forget that the N-word spoken by White people continues to have negative connotation towards Black people.
Yeah, Black people can be "ignant" and "our own worst enemy".
But in the relations towards the red hot hostility towards President Barack Obama, Trayvon Martin, Renisha McBride, and any Black entertainer, athlete, scholar or politicians by White people makes it more likely to have a unison.
It's probably not a good idea for conservatives to police "us Black folk" when it comes to the N-word.
It's not like we can stop a White conservative or White liberal from speaking the racial slur. They speak it when they buy Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne and Drake while listening to the latest singles.
Eminem, the most successful White rapper has spoken it before. We gave him a pass during the whole fiasco between him and The Source Magazine.
Have you watched any Blaxploitation movies like Coffy, Black Caesar, Shaft and Big Truck ?
It must be a slow weekend for the junk food media. I mean we're so focused on the troubled Healthcare Marketplace and Alec Baldwin's outbursts.
I mean how much time is being spent wasting on tabloid stories?
Anyway, the weekend does have its fair share of stories that are posted by me and S. Baldwin.
Matt Barnes (right) of the LA Clippers with wife Gloria Govan.
The Breitfart staff is singling out Michael Wilbon of ESPN for embracing the "abbreviated slur".
The show Pardon The Interruption is a feature on ESPN and Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser debate the latest sports topics.
Wilbon was criticizing the Los Angles Clippers small forward Matt Barnes' online rant about his teammates losing. He found the antics not troubling but spoke about how "us Black folk" use the word like it's nothing.
Wilbon, an African-American said, "People can be upset with me if they want, I, like a whole lot of people, use the N-word all day, every day, my whole life."
Co-host Kornheiser suggested that NBA Comissioner David Stern, and his counterparts at the NFL and MLB, would have to prohibit players from using the word in public. Wilbon bristled and said, "I have a problem with… white people framing the discussion for the use of the N-word." He also likened the commissioners to plantation owners dictating whether African-Americans could use a word that had been thrust upon them.
Matt Barnes posted on the social networks his now infamous tweet: “I love my teammates like family, but I’m DONE standing up for these Niggas! All this shit does is cost me money.”
Barnes is biracial and married to a Black woman.
Andrew Breitfart died in March 2012. He left a legacy of grandstanding and all out race baiting.
Breitfart's Larry O'Conner wrote that Wilbon was in the presence of President Barack Obama during one of his many golf outings.
Of course, you know how conservatives react to the president going to a golf outing.
This is a big issue among WHITE CONSERVATIVES. They believe that they'll be punished for saying NIGGER or NIGGA around the presence of Black people.
They figured its a double standard if the Black person says NIGGA.
After all conservative complain that "us Black folk" use it in hip-hop and Black themed movies.
So why is fair to say the N-word when it comes to "us Black folk" and not White people?
