Charlotte Police Shoot And Kill Unarmed College Football Star!

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating the shooting of unarmed resident and former FAMU football player Jonathon Ferrell.

The investigation is on. A police officer is getting a pink slip and may get time in the iron college after he couldn't muster up enough for a cover-up. He shot and killed a former college football star who was unarmed and may have been looking for help after a car wreck.

Jonathan Ferrell was football player for Florida A &M University. Ferrell was a worker at Dillards and Best Buy in the Charlotte area. He would have turned 25 next month.

He was involved in car wreck and he was seeking help. Ferrell crashed his car in an area around Charlotte, North Carolina. He may have damaged his phone or didn't have one on him when he was seeking help.

He probably was dazed and confused because the impact of the car crash was severe. Ferrell had to climb out the back panel of his vehicle.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were on a call about someone "breaking and entering" in the area. A woman called the police on the report of a Black man "acting suspiciously" and he was knocking on doors repeatedly.

The officers spotted Ferrell running towards them. One officer fired a stun gun upon him. The stun gun didn't stop him, so another officer used his firearm and discharged. That firearm discharge kills Farrell.

Ferrell was unarmed.

The police officers claimed that he "ran up" on them. Then they claimed he "charged at them in a physical matter". And they've may have claimed that "he was carrying something (unlawfully advanced)".

Officer Randell Kerrick's mugshot.
The woman who called the police finally realized that a bloody up man isn't a criminal, but a victim was shocked about the situation. She claimed that she thought at the door was her husband. When she didn't recognized the person, she slammed the door in his face, hit the panic button and dialed 911.

Police acting on a call did what they were told to do. But somehow, the police officer who fired his gun didn't follow protocol in the apprehension of a suspect.

She did the right thing. But I am guessing that in America, a White person who sees a Black man in distress is considered a Trayvon Martin in her mind. After all Trayvon Martin was minding his business, but according to racial extremists, he's just another thug.

Jonathon Ferrell is just a former college football player. He was asking for help and walked to get help. The neighbors didn't see nothing but a "threat" and wanted police to handle the matter.

The police charged a two year officer for voluntary manslaughter. Randell Kerrick who is 27 turned himself in for the charge. He was released on bond and is on administrative leave pending an investigation.

Thornell Little the officer who deployed the taser was placed on administrative leave.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police issued a statement Saturday night, saying evidence revealed Officer Kerrick's use of force was excessive and fit the criteria for involuntary manslaughter. Police say their investigation shows Kerrick did not have to fire his weapon during the incident.

"Our hearts go to Ferrell family, quite naturally, as well as the many members of the CMPD family. This is never something easy," Chief  Rodney Monroe said. Monroe also said it was with a heavy heart and significant regrets that it has come to this. But says he believes the facts led to this conclusion.

Since it's common for a police officer to draw a weapon. Once it was fired, the officer is place on leave. The officer must report to his supervisors and write statements determining whether he used justifiable force in apprehending. Excessive force is a zero tolerance in the America's police organization.

When police are caught in a situation in which one of their officers kill a person of color, they're automatically thinking that the reactions from the public are going to be negative. They believe that civil rights groups and Rev. Perm will be involved. Police believe than an outcome in favor of them may spark a racial riot.

Some police officers believe that Black and Latino men are "natural born criminals".
Chief Rodney Monroe
Rodney Moore, Chief of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police
You remember I've said that Black and Latino men have to at least achieve the milestone of being at least 25 years old to say they've achieved a goal.

Many crimes in urban America kill men of color who are under 25.

Family and friends of Ferrell tell The Charlotte Observer that he was a a quiet, humble player, more of an introvert. He just moved to the area and was hoping to live a successful life. He wasn't a criminal.

Charlotte is split by three Congressmen. Democrat Mel Watt, and Republicans Rick Hudson and Bob Pittenger. The area where this incident occurred was in a Republican district.

Do you think that the Republican would get to the bottom of this incident?

Do you think this incident will inspire the lawmaker to support reasonable gun control laws?

Do you think that the Republican lawmakers will blast President Barack Obama if he was asked about the situation in Charlotte?

Do you think that police brutality and the rigger happy mentality by officers creates the distrust within the Black and Latino community?

We Still Remember The 16th Street Baptist Church Bombing!

We will never forget about the four girls who lost their lives in a horrible act of terrorism.
(Clockwise from top left, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson and Denise McNair)

We mark 50 years of a horrible tragedy. The 16th Street Baptist Church in the city of Birmingham, Alabama is a national historic site. The site was ground zero of a horrible incident. Four innocent girls died in an act of terror.

After the March on Washington, many racial extremists were not happy about the meddling of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the NAACP, and President John F. Kennedy.

They wanted to send a message to those who stood in the way of Jim Crow.

Two men who had ties to the Ku Klux Klan set a bomb around the side of the 16th Street Baptist Church.

The bomb went off during a nice Sunday in September.

It would kill four young girls. Girls who were doing what Americans would do on Sunday mornings, attend church. Addie Mae Collins (age 14), Denise McNair (age 11), Carole Robertson (age 14), and Cynthia Wesley (age 14), were killed.

Following the tragic event, white strangers visited the grieving families to express their sorrow. At the funeral for three of the girls (one family preferred a separate, private funeral), Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke about life being "as hard as crucible steel." More than 8,000 mourners, including 800 clergymen of all races, attended the service. No city officials attended.

The bombing continued to increase worldwide sympathy for the civil rights cause. On July 2, 1964, President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ensuring equal rights of African Americans before the law.

The 16th Street Baptist Church is a national historic site.
These young girls futures were cut short by a bunch of extremists.

The United Klan of America, a breakaway group that associated with the Klan in the past had four men involved in it. The Klan was at it peak of strength during the 1950s all the way to the mid 1970s.

Bobby Frank Cherry, Thomas Blanton, Herman Frank Cash, and Robert Chambliss were the individuals involved in planting a box of dynamite with a time delay under the steps of the church, near the basement.

Civil rights activists blamed George Wallace, the Governor of Alabama, for the killings. Birmingham was a violent city and was nicknamed “Bombingham”, because the city had experienced more than 50 bombings in black institutions and homes since World War I.

A witness identified Robert Chambliss,  as the man who placed the bomb under the steps of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church. He was arrested but only charged with possessing a box of 122 sticks of dynamite without a permit.

Chambliss received a hundred-dollar fine and a six-month jail sentence for having the dynamite.

At the time, no federal charges were filed on Chambliss.

All that would change when the FBI finally took interest into the case. FBI investigations gathered evidence pointing to four suspects: Robert Chambliss, Thomas E. Blanton Jr, Herman Cash, and Bobby Frank Cherry. According to a later report from the Bureau, “By 1965, we had serious suspects—namely, Robert E. Chambliss, Bobby Frank Cherry, Herman Frank Cash, and Thomas E. Blanton, Jr., were KKK members. Most of them claimed they've renounced their past and were innocent in the incident.

Witnesses were reluctant to talk out of fear for retaliation and physical evidence was lacking. Also, at that time, information from our surveillances was not admissible in court. As a result, no federal charges were filed in the ’60s.”

Although Chambliss was convicted on an explosives charge, no convictions were obtained in the 1960s for the killings.

Alabama Attorney General William Baxley reopened the investigation after he took office in 1971, requesting evidence from the FBI and building trust with key witnesses who had been reluctant to testify in the first trial. The prosecutor had been a student at the University of Alabama when he heard about the bombing in 1963.

“I wanted to do something, but I didn’t know what.”

Chambliss was indicted in the murder of all four girls, tried and convicted of the first-degree murder of Denise McNair, and sentenced to life in prison. He died eight years later in prison.

Thomas E. Blanton, Jr. was tried in 2001 and found guilty at age 62 of four counts of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Herman Cash died in 1994 without having been charged. Bobby Frank Cherry, also a former Klansman, was indicted in 2001 along with Blanton. Judge James Garrett of Jefferson County Circuit Court ruled "that Mr. Cherry's trial would be delayed indefinitely because a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation concluded that he was mentally incompetent.”

He was later convicted in 2002, sentenced to life in prison, and died in 2004

Sarah Collins, the sister of Addie Mae would survive the bombing and become a civil rights leader and speaker.

A tragedy that sparked the Civil Rights movement.

The president, Congress and many Civil Rights leaders show solidarity on this day.

We here at Journal de la Reyna will never forget the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.

We send our condolences to the families of those innocent young girls.

Kanye West's Diva Attitude May Land Him In The Iron College!

Entertainer smacks more than his hands.

The entertainer is promoting his acts Big Sean, John Legend and Pusha T new albums and his new child North.

He and reality turdelebrity Kim Kardashian had a child this year and the couple are planning on moving to France.

Kanye West assaults the paparazzi.
The entertainer usually rants and raves for shock value. He's notorious for showing out in the crowds.

But this time, his shock value may land him in the courtroom and soon the iron college.

The entertainer was spotted assaulting a paparazzi. This time it's going to not only cost him a few stacks for the injures and replacement of equipment, but six months as parent.

He was spotted in Los Angeles and the paparazzi took a picture of him and probably asked an insulting question towards him. And you know what he does from there. He's pummels the guy.

The Associated Press reports that prosecutors have charged Kanye West with misdemeanor battery over a July scuffle with a celebrity photographer at Los Angeles International Airport.

City attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan says West was also charged Friday with one count of attempted grand theft. The rapper's arraignment has been set for Oct. 10 but he is not required to appear if he has an attorney.

Photographer Daniel Ramos claims West punched him in an unprovoked attack and wrestled his camera to the ground during an incident at the airport on July 19.
Kanye West, 2 Chainz and Big Sean.
Prosecutors declined to file felony charges against West, but city prosecutors decided to pursue misdemeanor charges. Each carries a penalty of up to six months in jail or a $1,000 fine.

An email sent to West's record label for comment was not immediately returned.

West was raised in a middle-class household in Chicago, Illinois, and began rapping in the third grade, becoming involved in the city's hip hop scene. West attended art school for one semester before dropping out to pursue music entirely in the late 1990s. Although his real desire was to become a rapper, record executives did not take West seriously, viewing him as a producer first and foremost. After being signed to Roc-A-Fella in 2002, West released his debut album The College Dropout in 2004 to commercial and critical acclaim. The baroque-inspired Late Registration followed in 2005, and Graduation in 2007. West switched rapping for singing on his dark 2008 effort 808's & Heartbreak, and embraced maximalism on 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Following several collaborations, West released his sixth album, Yeezus, in 2013.

He is closely associated with his mentor, media mogul Jay-Z.

His G.O.O.D. Music label signed on John Legend, Big Sean, Pusha T, and legendary rapper Q-Tip to his label. He's a rapper, producer, director and media mogul. He's known for his controversial antics while on camera.

Here's two controversial things from YouTube. His rant during a listening party for Pusha T.

And his video Blood On The Leaves.

Singing Hearts!

John Legend marries swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen.

John Legend is a married man. The American singer has officially married Chrissy Teigen in a wedding ceremony in Italy.

The legendary singer was one of the first artists signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music and Sony Music.

He is a nine time Grammy award singer and entertainer. He also is a goodwill ambassador and a huge supporter and friend of President Barack Obama.

Born John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978) in Springfield, Ohio. He is one of four children of Phyllis, a seamstress, and Ronald Stephens, a factory worker and former National Guardsman.

Paparazzi snapped the picture of the couple in Italy getting married.
Throughout his childhood, Legend was homeschooled on and off by his mother. At age four, he began playing the piano and at age seven, he performed with his church choir. In 1987, when he was ten, his parents divorced. At the age of twelve, Legend attended North High School, from which he graduated four years later. Upon his salutatorian graduation, Legend was offered scholarships to Harvard University, Georgetown University and Morehouse College.

He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied English with an emphasis on African American literature.

While in college, he helmed Counterparts, a co-ed jazz and pop a cappella group as president and musical director. Legend's lead vocals on the group's recording of Joan Osborne's "One of Us" received critical acclaim landing the song on the track list of the 1998 Best of Collegiate a Cappella compilation CD.

Legend was also a member of the prestigious senior societies Sphinx Senior Society and Onyx Senior Honor Society while an undergraduate at Penn. While in college, Legend was introduced to Lauryn Hill by a friend. Hill hired him to play piano on "Everything Is Everything", a song from her album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

During this period, Legend took time to hold a number of shows around Philadelphia, eventually expanding his audience base to New York, Boston, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. He finished college in 1999, and thereafter began producing, writing, and recording his own music. He released two albums independently; his self-titled demo (2000) and Live at Jimmy's Uptown (2001), which he sold at his shows. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Legend began working as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.

During this time, he began working on his demo and began sending his work to various record labels.

In 2001, Devo Springsteen introduced Legend to then up-and-coming hip-hop artist Kanye West; Legend was hired to sing during the hooks of West's music.
Common, Kanye West and John Legend.
After signing to West's label, he chose his stage name from an idea that was given to him by poet J. Ivy, due to what he perceived "old-school sound". J. Ivy stated, "I heard your music and it reminds me of that music from the old school. You sound like one of the legends. As a matter of fact, that's what I'm going to call you from now on! I'm going to call you John Legend." After J. Ivy continued to call him by the new moniker "John Legend," others quickly caught on, including Kanye West, and the name stuck. In spite of John's reluctance to change his stage name to John Legend he eventually announced his new artist name as John Legend.

People Magazine reports that John Legend and Chrissy Teigen made it official when they exchanged vows in front of friends and family in Lake Como, Italy on Saturday.

The model bride wore a strapless ivory Vera Wang gown with an open back, lifted tulle skirt and hand-cut petal embroidered details, which she described to PEOPLE as "kind of [having] a sexier feel at the top, like a swimsuit, so I have to get my body ready. I have to buckle down."

Teigen changed into another strapless ivory Vera Wang dress for the reception – the design featured a micro-pleated bodice and sheared organza full skirt.

And at the after-party she had a third Vera Wang design of the night – a crimson strapless mermaid gown with a hand-draped bodice, inverted flange skirt and embroidered crystal wheat detail.

The nuptials follow a seven-year courtship for the couple, who became engaged in 2011 while vacationing together in the Maldives.

Earlier this year, Teigen, 27, told PEOPLE her Grammy-winning groom, 34, would perform his new song "All of Me" at the wedding, which was written for her.

John Legend, Jamie Foxx, Nick Jonas and Seal perform at The White House. John Legend is a friend of Barack and Michelle Obama.
"He writes a lot of love songs, but this one is specifically about me so it makes it more special," Teigen told PEOPLE in May. "My Dad even cries when I play it for him in the car."

The model bride was so careful about preparing her figure for the frock that her bachelorette party included Pilates classes.

But despite her rigorous attention to her physique, she says she was much more laid-back about wedding planning overall.

"[John] and I have been working and traveling so much that we just let our wedding planner do everything," Teigen told PEOPLE in May. "We're not neurotic about it. I just want to finally see all of my friends in one area."

But she cops to being a bit more involved in one aspect of the wedding – the cake.

"I'm not a big sweets person, which is why I'm really specific about the cake, which is going to be a really multi-layer cake," she told PEOPLE in June. "It's layers and layers of crepe and pastry creme in between with raspberry sauce."

With the wedding behind them, perhaps now is the time the couple will start thinking about all those kids Legend told PEOPLE he wants.

"We'd like to have kids," he said in May. "I grew up in a family with four kids, so I think three or four is a good number. We don't plan it. We just do it."

We here at Journal de la Reyna wish John Legend and Chrissy Teigen well. The Stephens are a perfect couple. Beautiful and very intelligent couple.

Ballin'!

LaBron and Savannah James. The NBA star married his longtime girlfriend this weekend.

LaBron James and Dr. Dre.
Miami Heat's LaBron James is officially a married man. He married his longtime sweetheart Savannah Brinson. The two have children together.

The Miami Heat power forward has went forth to put "ring on it" and invited his friends and family to the coastal California to celebrate a weekend of love. James married Brinson at the Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego on September 14, 2013.

James was engaged to Brinson since 2001, proposing to her at a party to celebrate New Year’s Eve and his birthday. James, 28, proposed to his longtime girlfriend, 27, at a party on New Year's Eve 2011, and later admitted on Oprah's Next Chapter that he was nervous. "It felt like a finals game."

Entertainers Jay-Z and Beyonce were in attendance of this weeding event.

Fellow teammate Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union were there.

NBA players Chris Paul and Carmello Anthony were there.

And the junk food media is awww and ooh over how lovely the couple are.

They currently reside in Coconut Grove, a Miami suburb, where James bought a three-story mansion overlooking Biscayne Bay for $9 million.

People magazine reports that the couple sent out Save the Date notes in March for the three-day celebration, which the New York Post reports was masterminded by wedding planner Preston Bailey, who also planned the Lord of the Rings-themed $9 million nuptials of Silicon Valley mogul Sean Parker.

Guests were welcomed to the celebration with a barbecue on Friday evening before the afternoon wedding on Saturday, and the festivities are expected to wind up with a farewell brunch on Sunday, according to reports.

Brinson, who has two sons with James – LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 5 – told Harper's Bazaar in 2010 that she's dreamed of being a bride since the age of 6 and that when she married James, "I want it to be forever."

"A person like myself always needs a great sidekick and a person you can rely on no matter the circumstances. And she's that," James added. "She's got my back and I love her for that."
Jay-Z and Kanye West were promoting a XXL Magazine and they've asked LaBron James to join them.

You know I got to give love to LaBron and Savannah James. We here at Journal de la Reyna wish the couple well.

Hopefully we don't see any reality television programs sharing their lives?

LeBron Raymone James (/ləˈbrɒn/; born December 30, 1984), nicknamed "King James", is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) and weighing in at 250 lb (113 kg), he has played the small forward and power forward positions. James has won two NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, two NBA Finals MVP Awards, two Olympic gold medals, an NBA scoring title, and the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. He has also been selected to nine NBA All-Star teams, nine All-NBA teams, and five All-Defensive teams, and is the Cleveland Cavaliers' all-time leading scorer.

James played high school basketball at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, where he was highly promoted in the national media as a future NBA superstar.

Ted Cruz Channeled His Inner Jesse Helms!

Ted Cruz wants to be the new "Jesse Helms".

And soon I'll see the crumbling hands in a political ad by the likes of this asshole Republican senator from Texas.

If you're a smart person, you already know that Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has no legislative accomplishments nor successes as a leader. All he done in the months as a being freshman lawmaker is be a pain in the ass of the Republican Party. He just says stuff that make him and the Republican Party look even more stupider.

Now for him to channel that dead right wing bigot, former North Carolina senator Jesse Helms is the latest stupidity from the junk food media's "darling of the right".

Say if he wants tor run for president, will he regret saying stuff like this?

Do we actually need "100 more Jesse Helms"?

A man who would actually use "dog whistle politics" to beat an opponent. A man who would be considered a proud "hater".

Jesse Alexander Helms, Jr. was a five-term Republican United States Senator from North Carolina who served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 1995 to 2001. A leading conservative, he helped organize and fund the conservative resurgence in the 1970s, aiding Ronald Reagan's quest for the White House and helping many local and regional candidates. He died in 2008.

A journalist by training, Helms was the longest-serving popularly elected Senator in North Carolina's history, and was widely credited with shifting the one-party state dominated by the Democrats into a competitive two-party state. The Helms-controlled National Congressional Club's state-of-the-art direct mail operation raised millions for Helms and other conservative candidates allowing Helms to outspend his opponents in most of his campaigns.

An unreconstructed Southern conservative, he began his political career in the Democratic Party in the days when many white Southern politicians championed racial segregation. He moved to the Republican party in the 1970s. Helms was the most stridently conservative politician of the post-1960s era, especially in opposition to federal intervention into what he considered state affairs (integration, the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act). Helms tried, with a 16-day filibuster, to stop the Senate from approving a federal holiday to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.

Helms was credited even by his most vociferous opponents with providing excellent constituent services through his Senate office.

As long-time chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he demanded a staunchly anti-communist foreign policy that would reward America's friends abroad, and punish its enemies. His relations with the State Department were often acrimonious, and he blocked numerous presidential appointees. However, he worked smoothly with Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

In domestic affairs, Helms promoted industrial development in the South, seeking low taxes and few labor unions so as to attract northern and international corporations to relocate to North Carolina.

On social issues, Helms was a traditionalist. He was a "master obstructionist" who relished his nickname, "Senator No".

He opposed, at various times, civil rights, disability rights, feminism, gay rights, affirmative action, abortion, and government support for contemporary art with graphic sexuality.

Helms brought an "aggressiveness" to his conservatism, as in his rhetoric against homosexuality, and employed racially charged language in his campaigns and editorials. He combined cultural, social and economic conservatism which often helped his legislation win overwhelming support. The Almanac of American Politics once wrote that "no American politician is more controversial, beloved in some quarters and hated in others, than Jesse Helms"

Say what you want about this guy, I am assuming Blacks voted this right wing bigot.

Senator Ted Cruz is working on being a obstructionist. He and Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) are competing with Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) and Senator Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina) for airtime. There's a civil war between the party and the Republicans are feuding with each other.

Besides the feud with President Barack Obama, the Republicans can't stop themselves from being obstructionists with each other.

Cruz is the first Texas Hispanic Republican senator elected to office. Cruz is closely associated with the Tea Party movement. He's often criticized by the likes of McCain and Graham as being a "wacko bird".

For Ted Cruz to channel Helms, it's prime reason for the Democrats to activate their base and help defeat him and those who follow him.

Not On Black Wall Street!

Tulsa street named after a controversial figure.
The Associated Press reports that the city of Tulsa is considering renaming a street after they've gotten word of a namesake's controversial history.

Tulsa city councilors were expected to decide Thursday whether to rename a popular downtown street tied to a city founder who was involved with the Ku Klux Klan and possibly tied to a 1921 race riot in which hundreds of blacks were killed.

Before considering changing Brady Street's name at its Thursday night meeting, City Hall invited those who own property along the street to tell the City Council where they stand.
The street's namesake, Wyatt Tate Brady, was a shoe salesman who became a prominent Tulsa businessman. He signed the city's incorporation papers, started a newspaper and pumped his wealth into promoting Tulsa to the rest of the country.
Wyatt Tate Brady/
But Brady, the son of a Confederate veteran, was also a member of the Klan. New questions arose after a magazine article looked at whether he was involved in the most notorious event in Tulsa history: a 1921 race riot that left some 300 black residents dead.
Thursday night's vote will be on whether to change Brady Street's name to Burlington Street – reflecting a recently discovered 1907 document on which someone crossed out Burlington Street and wrote Brady Street in its place.
Today, Brady Street cuts through the heart of the Brady Arts District, a glitzy downtown area that represents arguably the most successful redevelopment project the city has ever pursued.
Boarded-up warehouses, overgrown lots and blight have been replaced with trendy bistros, a cigar bar and a museum and park honoring Dust Bowl music legend Woody Guthrie, who grew up in Okemah, about 50 miles south.
Supporters have been lobbying for the name change since 2011, when an article in the literary magazine This Land said Brady created an environment of racism that led to the 1921 riot that decimated a thriving district that historians have called Black Wall Street.
Those who want to leave the name alone, including Mayor Dewey Bartlett and a contingent of the Brady district's business owners, fear that changing one name could lead to a revisionist look into the pasts of other notable residents who have parks, buildings and streets named after them too.

The Tupac Legacy!

http://www.imagozone.com/var/albums/vedete/Tupac%20Shakur/Tupac%20Shakur%20w%201.jpg?m=1293082413
Entertainer death occurred on September 13, 1996.

At often times I would reflect on the lives of entertainers we've lost. I reflect on where I was and how I reacted to the death of someone you've come to recognize! And even though you've never met that entertainer, you felt like the entertainer was a friend or family member.

I was only 15 years old at the time when I've heard of his death.

I remember I was in the marching band during a high school football game. A lot of hearsay was coming from members of the band saying they've heard that Tupac was shot. At the beginning I didn't believe it.

We all knew that 'Pac would get shot and he would be out the next day. Somehow that was just fantasy.

He was shot on September 7, 1996 on the Las Vegas strip. They put him in a medically induced coma and would later die on September 13, 1996.

It would spawn the conspiracies that Shakur would be hiding somewhere waiting to drop another dope album.

After all he took on the Makaveli moniker during his final years as an entertainer.

Tupac Shakur survived a near fatal shooting in 1994. He fingered many New York based rappers for the attempted murder. He singled out Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious B.I.G..

When people got the word that he would die of his injuries, people were actually crying in sorrow. His death shocked the nation. A man who told tales of the Black community while even questioning those who lead in it, was dead at the age of 25.

It made it clear that if you're a Black or Latino man and you've lived pass 25, it's considered an accomplishment. Many young men growing up in poorer neighborhoods never get to see their 25th birthday if they associate with the elements of NIGGER.

Tupac Amuru Shakur was one of the most famous and yet controversial entertainers. He was probably one of your favorite rappers.

I know I was a fan of the often brash and yet poetic rapper who told tales of the life as a NIGGA. He gave America the real definition of being a thug. A thug with a heart.

A rapper who knew how to make alot friends and a money. A rapper who made a lot of enemies.

A rapper who inspired others to enter the booth and rap a verse.

Without Tupac Shakur, you wouldn't have entertainers like Eminem, Ludacris, The Game, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Nelly, Drake, Future, Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne, and Nicki Minaj.

2Pac and briefly as Makaveli, was an American rapper and actor.

Shakur has sold over 75 million albums worldwide as of 2010, making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world. MTV ranked him at number two on their list of The Greatest MCs of All Time and Rolling Stone named him the 86th Greatest Artist of All Time.

His double disc album All Eyez on Me is one of the best selling hip hop albums of all time.

Shakur began his career as a roadie, backup dancer, and MC for the alternative hip hop group Digital Underground, eventually branching off as a solo artist. The themes of most of Shakur's songs revolved around the violence and hardship in inner cities, racism and other social problems. Both of his parents and several other of his family were members of the Black Panther Party, whose ideals were reflected in his songs.

During the latter part of his career, Shakur was a vocal participant in the so-called East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry, becoming involved in conflicts with other rappers, producers and record-label staff members, most notably The Notorious B.I.G. and his label Bad Boy Records.

On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vegas, Nevada. He would later die of his injuries on September 13, 1996.

He was the stable of the rap label Death Row Records. The lost him spelled the end of the record label.

His murder will continue to be an open case.

We'll miss ya 'Pac.

I'll pour a lil' liquor in your name!

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those who were lost in gun violence.

Ohio Deadbeat Dad Goes To Iron College After TV Judge Appearance!

http://media.cmgdigital.com/shared/img/photos/2013/09/10/f7/4a/1319023.jpg
Daddy dearest.

An Ohio man spawned 27 children is going to be facing a judge and possible time in the iron college.

Is Oxygen going to give this man and his children a "reality television" show like Shawty Lo?

He's probably got the Duggards passed by seven.

Oh of course, if this happens to reach That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall's website, it's about to be a word vomit of NIGGER and his NIGLETS. They'll probably be mentions of President Barack Obama and references to a ZOO or a bunch of MONKEYS.

This is what a White conservative extremist thinks of this type of person and his family.

Nathaniel Smith is the "worst father of the decade" for bailing out on the numerous family he's created.

He's got the taxpayer's expense in the Montgomery County Ohio lock up after he appeared on the Fox syndicated television show Divorce Court.

This man has 12 sons and 15 daughters by at least 17 women and he's 39 years old. So that means he's got children probably in their 20s at the time he reaches 40.

Yeah, he's a grandfather at 39. His oldest child had a child and his youngest child is about a year old.

He was a featured player on the show Divorce Court is hosted by former Cleveland family court judge Lynn Toler. Toler, a mother herself was astounded by the callous actions of this asshole and how many women he's slept with to have this many children. Most of the women he's messed with are knot-headed 18 - 29 year olds. Some are probably biracial seeing that he's messed with White, Hispanic and Black women.

Dayton Daily News reports that Smith, who hopes to get a reality show, said his estranged wife Jasmine Cotton has been contacted by two TV talk shows since the episode aired.

A poet and performer who goes by the stage names of Brave Nate, FlexLuthor and Hustle Simmons, Smith says he is a “full-time parent” and sees at least one or two of his children nearly everyday. Some do not received all the attention they need, but Smith says he does his best.

“If I am absent, it is because the moms (are) keeping them away,” Smith said. “I am not a danger to my kids.

I am not in the streets. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I don’t do none of that.”

The show Smith and Cotton appeared on was taped in June. Smith said he contacted the show hoping it could help with his divorce. Instead, the show compensated he and Cotton $570 each and paid for their flights to the taping and their hotel rooms.

Smith faced strong words from TV judge Lynn Toler. He denied preying on young women, which Cotton and Toler accused him of doing.

His wife is 23. Smith said the majority of his children’s mothers are at least 28 years old.

He said he has custody of two of the children and is currently trying to get custody of another. All said he says he is in contact with all but five of his children and has 21 child support orders.

Smith wouldn’t reveal how much money he owes in child support or say how much he pays monthly.

He said those amounts are of no one’s concern.

Child support information is not available for public inspection.

Smith said many people in Dayton knew he fathered several children before the show aired.

“With me, it really wasn’t a big deal because I know of people who have even more than me,” he said. “The difference is I take care of mine or at least attempt to.”

He said he personally knows two people with as many children as he has and one person with 40 children.

He said his attorney told him of two fathers with more than 60 and more than 70 children.

Smith’s oldest child is 21 years old and is a mother. His youngest is almost a year old.

He knew his Divorce Court appearance would create a splash, but he didn’t know the reactions would be so condemning, smith said.

“To judge me? I read somethings on the website that were like, “wow.” People say I need to be in jail. If I were to go to jail, what about my kids …, what about them?” the Patterson Co-Op High School graduate asked. “People are going to be people. They get someone who has abortions all the time and they give them the thumbs up.”

He said he would be alarmed if one of his daughters introduced him to a boyfriend with several children, but he said he wouldn’t judge the person without getting to know that person’s intentions.

Smith said he has always been popular and his personality has helped attract the opposite sex.

“I am no different from a football player in college or high school,” he said. “They are coming at you.”

Before losing his barbershop a decade ago and his barber license around 2006, Smith said he had plenty of money. In recent years, his children’s mothers have contributed more.

“They had to step up. Nobody is missing a beat. I don’t have no poor looking kids,” Smith said. “I am blessed is all I’ve got to say. If I was to die today, doesn’t mean they are going to go without. Everything is going to be fine whether I am in their lives or not.”

He said he loves his children and would not change a thing if making that change would mean a single one would not be born.

“What is done is done,” he said. “One thing I would change is different moms.”

Ann Coulter: Putin Gave A Banana To That "Monkey" Obama!

Yeah, it's desperation from the right wing.
The potential for a crisis is adverted. And the same ankle bitters for war are now bitching about the Russian president's diplomatic options to end the conflict between the United States and Syria.

The "America First" crowd can't get it through their heads that America's influence was ruined after we went to war on the notion that Afghanistan was harboring a terrorist and Iraq was harboring weapons of mass destruction.

The "America First" crowd can't see no right with the Black president. Every move whether going to strike or taking a diplomatic solution by allowing the United Nations take hold of the chemical weapons is a sign of "weakness".

This is what drove that blonde moronic woman to say that Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin is "monkeying" around with President Barack Obama.

So in other words, this blonde moronic horseface woman called the president a "monkey".

That's not what the conservative agitator said, but she's damn close to saying what most people on the racist right think. To have the first Black president disrespected by the likes of that shrew ignorance, it's unbelievable.

To think that last year, she would dare call the president a "retard" because he lost in the debate against that perennial loser Mitt Romney.

Horseface Ann Coulter flapping her jaws over at Loserville with That Guy Who Helped Obama Win.

She dare has the nerve to attack the president's handling of the crisis in Syria.

It's almost like the racist right is gleeful that Putin is "standing up" to President Barack Obama.

It's amazing that if you look at past presidents, Ronald Reagan was probably the "weakest" when it came to dealing with Russia (then the Soviet Union).

9/11 Benghazi!

http://realtalkrealdebate.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/september-11th-photo.jpg
We still keep our prayers for the ones lost on September 11, 2001 and 2012.

We will never forget the events of September 11, 2001 and 2012.

Many Americans working in service of their country made the ultimate sacrifice on that day.

We here at Journal de la Reyna show solidarity to those who lost their lives in New York City, Washington, D.C., Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and even the tragedy in Benghazi, Libya.
