Yearly wrap up.
The brothers Tate remain locked up in a Miami federal time out as they await extradition to Great Britain to face criminal charges for sexual assault, underage procurement and extortion.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Andrew and Tristan Tate are Black extremists that are widely described and publicly known for chauvinistic, sexist, and misogynistic views, male-dominance content, and roles within the online "manosphere". They are MAGA and aligned to ideologies that are white supremacist.
Again, they are Black men.
U.S. Magistrate Lauren Louis denied a defense motion for release, meaning the Tates will remain jailed during what could be a monthslong extradition process. The Tates failed to demonstrate that they do not present a flight risk or danger to the community or that special circumstances warrant their release, Louis said in her ruling.
“Having failed to meet these three factors, Respondents’ Motion for Release Pending Extradition Proceedings is DENIED,” she said in the ruling.
The U.S. has denied release due to their vocal attempts to flee the country and disappear.
If they had freedom, they would immediately bolt to a country that will not extradite them. Russia, Belarus or Iran. But for course, they will not be automatic granted asylum like Edward Snowden or Tara Reade if they move to Russia.

[Emory] Andrew Tate has been arrested in Miami and is in U.S. custody. Tate has faced numerous criminal and civil legal proceedings in Romania, the United Kingdom, and the United States relating to allegations including rape, human trafficking, and tax evasion.
The Romanian trafficking case remained unresolved but stalled by procedural delays, and Tate had been released from Romania's travel ban and all bail conditions; separate UK proceedings remained active, where the Crown Prosecution Service authorised 21 charges in May 2025 and police reopened an earlier investigation into 2015-era allegations following a misconduct inquiry into how it had originally been handled.
Democratic lawmakers fear President Donald J. Trump will commute their sentence and slow walk their extradition.
Tate still operates on his social media through his associates. That doesn't help their case.
