Another Helping For King Rodney!

Rodney Hinton, Jr. did Black America a favor. Whether they like it or not, his actions will be reminder that police officers not being held accountable will gas people up to commit vigilante justice.

Rodney Hinton, Jr. is a martyr. He represents the anger Black America has with police officers not being held accountable for killing us.

He remains unrepentant despite his family apologizing on behalf of him when he drove his car into a reserve Hamilton County, Ohio deputy directing traffic near the University of Cincinnati.

He was convicted of vehicular manslaughter and second degree murder. He is facing LIFE in the iron college. He is also expected to face another helping after he was convicted of assaulting correction officers.

When he placed in nearby Clermont County because of potential suicide watch, he spat and kicked the corrections officers. He was charged with misdemeanor battery on peace officer. He will likely get 18 months added which he will serve concurrently.

His attorneys are planning an appeal. They are saying that he was in distress and wasn't in the right mind. The state has ruled him incompetent and mentally unstable.

He was spared the DEATH card.

Hinton is being placed in solidarity due to potential suicide threats.

Prosecutors said Hinton became aggressive while he was walking back to his cell after taking a shower. Investigators said Hinton turned, punched the corrections officer in the face with a closed fist and then had to be dragged off of the officer.

Hinton was convicted of three counts of assault in the case, and on Wednesday, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for that case, with credit for 320 days already served.

It’s not yet clear how that sentence will coincide with the case in Hamilton County, where Hinton was convicted of killing Deputy Larry Henderson last week.

Hinton will be sentenced in Hamilton County on Nov. 16 at 9 a.m. His attorney has vowed to file an appeal in the case.
