A woman in San Clarita, California is now finding out that her theeats to call ICE on vendors who were Hispanic was a huge mistake.

And guest what, she was spotted on a television show that has a famous television judge who recently caused her own series of controversy.

Francesca Ortega, the Santa Clarita woman who recently went viral for harassing local street taco vendors and threatening to call ICE, was previously a litigant on Judge Judy. Following the viral incident, internet users dug up an old episode of Judge Judy involving a roommate dispute where Ortega was kicked out of the courtroom by Judge Judy for repeatedly interrupting.

In the video, which was filmed in the Stevenson Ranch area near Santa Clarita, Ortega is seen berating a female taco vendor. Speaking in Spanish, she hurled several insults, calling the vendor a "stinky old woman" ("vieja jedionda") and an "illegal piece of trash". Ortega explicitly threatened to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on the vendors, called them "criminals," and stated she did not want the area to "turn into Mexico". She argued that the unpermitted sidewalk setup was unfair to local, rent-paying business owners and lacked "class".

In late September 2026, Ortega was caught on video aggressively confronting legal sidewalk taco vendors in Santa Clarita, California. Pushing a stroller, she hurled insults in Spanish and English—calling one vendor a "stinky old woman" and labeling them criminals—while threatening to report them to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The video went viral, causing immense public backlash that heavily damaged her local house-cleaning business. The situation took an even stranger turn when Ortega admitted to changing her business's Google listing phone number to the personal phone number of Ricardo Morales, a local man who had messaged her to criticize her behavior. Morales was subsequently flooded with thousands of unwanted calls from across the nation.

In media interviews and videos, Ortega stated that she is "afraid to go outside" and that her family is facing constant harassment across social media platforms. She mentioned that her home address was leaked (doxxed), leading to intense anxiety over her family's safety.

Following the video's explosion across TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), internet users quickly identified Ortega as the co-founder of Excellence Cleaning Pros, a residential house-cleaning company she had spent 10 years building. Within days, her company's Google Business profile and social media pages were flooded with thousands of scathing one-star reviews and angry messages.

It sucks to be famous. Or infamous.

Ortega released a tearful video apology. In the video, she acknowledged her behavior was unacceptable but claimed the viral clip was taken out of context. She stated she had not fully understood the weight and sensitivity of using the word "ICE" during a heated argument. Ortega blamed her outburst on pregnancy-induced anger and an impulsive personality, stating she "lost her mind" after one of the vendors photographed her vehicle's license plate. She pleaded for the public harassment to stop, citing safety concerns for her employees and her family.
