Press Secretary Jen Psaki has the coronavirus. This is one of the highest officials in the Biden Administration to test positive for the coronavirus. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and White House Chief of Staff Ron Klein were notified of the press secretary contracting the disease.

Thankful she is fully vaccinated and symptoms could range from asymptomatic to mild.

"On Wednesday, in coordination with senior leadership at the White House and the medical team, I made the decision not to travel on the foreign trip with the president due to a family emergency, which was members of my household testing positive for COVID-19," Psaki said in a statement.

"Since then, I have quarantined and tested negative (via PCR) for COVID on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday," she added. "However, today, I tested positive for COVID. While I have not had close contact in person with the president or senior members of the White House staff since Wednesday — and tested negative for four days after that last contact — I am disclosing today’s positive test out of an abundance of transparency.

"I last saw the president on Tuesday, when we sat outside more than six feet apart and wore masks," Psaki added. "Thanks to the vaccine, I have only experienced mild symptoms, which has enabled me to continue working from home. I will plan to return to work in person at the conclusion of the ten-day quarantine following a negative rapid test, which is an additional White House requirement, beyond CDC guidance, taken out of an abundance of caution."

She had last came into contact with the president on Tuesday. She is taking every appropriate step to prevent the coronavirus from spreading. At least she was honest about her health unlike Republicans or Washed Up 45.

If only Americans got vaccinated, we would have been back to normal by July. Alas, they wanna fuck around and now they're going to find out.

Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.

President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

Entertainer Kal Penn comes out as gay and is engaged to his partner of 11 years. The actor and former Obama administration official announced that he is planning on marrying Josh who he disclosed the last name.

The entertainer reveals his relationship and his life as an entertainer and public official in his memoir "You Can't Be Serious" which is slated for release on November 2.

Kal Penn had worked with Obama during his first term.

"I discovered my own sexuality relatively late in life compared to many other people. There's no timeline on this stuff," said Penn.

Penn met Josh while working with the White House Office of Public Engagement.

Known professionally as Kalpen Suresh Modi, the entertainer is best known for his iconic role in the movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle as well as Love Don't Cost a Thing and Designated Survivor.

The Jigga Man has finally made an achievement that took nearly 30 years to get into.

Jay-Z was introduced into the Rock & Roll Hall Fame by Dave Chappelle. The comedian has face controversy after he made jokes that the trans community called offensive.

Chappelle had to laugh off the controversy by paying tribute to a rap icon. Also paying homage is the former president, Barack Obama.

The 23-time Grammy winner was celebrated in an introduction video featuring remarks from DJ Khaled, Samuel L. Jackson, Rihanna and others. 

He will sit with the greats like Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Run-DMC, The Beastie Boys, N.W.A., Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and Public Enemy.

Obama, who previously paid tribute to Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter when he became the first rapper in the Songwriters Hall of Fame, delivered moving remarks about how Jay-Z’s music has served as a soundtrack to some of his most pivotal moments.

A little bit of ignorance. A judge is being removed from the bench after a handful of misconduct came forward. This was in Talladega County, Alabama. 

This probate judge was removed from the bench by a unanimous vote. This move comes after allegations of the judge using racial slurs and making inappropriate comments about women.

This Alabama judge claimed that George Floyd "got what he deserved."

Yeah, this is Alabama folks. A place where the Republican Party still embraces the losing side of the Civil War. The place where Klan is king. States like Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and South Carolina have a high Black population but yet the states vote typically Republican. It's almost a miracle for Joe Biden to take Georgia. 

The judge who I refuse to name was removed by a panel after he said to employees at the height of the Floyd protests that "I don't see anything wrong with the police killing him" and that he "pretty much got what he deserved."

Darrius Pearson, a Black employee, testified in May 2019 that this judge saw his new car, he remarked that he could not afford one on his judge's salary.

"What you doing, selling drugs?" said the judge to Pearson.

Causal Friday. Black employee claims the judge made racial remarks towards him.

The judge's lawyer said that the complaints against him are "concocted by a few disgruntled" employees and that the allegations of racist comments are "fabricated to generate antagonism with the public, the Court of Judiciary, and the media."

He doubled down: "I do not use racial slurs. I do not go off on tirades in the office."

He said that when the initial complaint was filed, "it shook me when it first happened" but that it later "moved me closer to the lord."

He often called women who dressed too revealing that they were bitches and whores. He said he would never want to see a fat woman dress like that ever.

These comments are damaging and he trying to appeal the ruling.

It would comes as no surprise that he's probably sentenced a lot of Black or Hispanic men in his courtroom. Those should come into question. Matter of fact, he should be stripped of his law license if the judge's behavior biased a handful of critical rulings.

The Democrats are panicking. They fear that a Republican could take back Virginia.

Polls are tightening and it appears that the race is a toss up.

President Joe Biden won Virginia by 10 points. The swing could prove fatal for the slim Democratic majority.

Karen Youngkin is closing in on Terry McAuliffe and it appears that the former Democratic governor could be defeated by the far right agitator.

The former president has endorsed Youngkin and is slated to make a tele-appearance at his final rally. The Republican knows that the former president carries a lot of burdens on down ballot candidates. He still believes he was robbed of his victory.

Youngkin is trying to keep the focus off Washed Up. He wants to keep it focused on President Joe Biden and the culture wars that keep Republicans riled up.

Though Youngkin said he was “honored” to be endorsed by Washed Up 45, he has not campaigned in-person with the former president at all — a stark contrast to McAuliffe campaigning alongside President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama.

Youngkin told prioritized campaigning “with Virginians” during a campaign stop on Thursday, and told reporter the former president would not be coming to the state.

“He’s not coming,” Youngkin said. “And in fact, we’re campaigning as Virginians in Virginia with Virginians. And we’ve got another four days left on our bus tour and then we’ve gotta fly around and then we’ve gotta vote.”

Two Pennsylvania police officers are facing criminal investigations after they were fired for submitting fake COVID-19 vaccination cards to their department.

The two officers in the city of Lancaster were busted after they openly discussed their fake vaccination cards at work, according to a report from Lancaster Online.

"Heather Schaeffer got a blank vaccination card from her cousin, who is in the military and involved in vaccination efforts, made a copy and sold it to Benjamin Lapp for $20," the site reports. "According to Schaeffer and Lapp's termination paperwork, Capt. Richard Mendez learned in September that the two 'had been openly speaking about having fraudulent COVID-19 vaccination cards.' Both admitted submitting the forged cards during a Sept. 22 interview with police officials, the paperwork said. Lapp also told the officials that Schaeffer had other fraudulent cards and was possibly selling them."

Lancaster doesn't require employees to be vaccinated, but those who've gotten the jab are allowed to go mask-less in city facilities, according to the report. The local district attorney's office has opened a criminal investigation into the two fired officers, but charges have not yet been filed.

Hip-hop icons Run DMC.

This is the 19th anniversary of the passing of Run DMC's producer and DJ, Jam Master Jay. He was gunned down in Jamaica, Queens, New York.

Jason W. Mizell, was an American musician and DJ. He was the hype-man for Run DMC, the legendary hip-hop group composed of him, Reverend Run and D.M.C.

At age 3, Jason began playing trumpet. He learned to play bass, guitar, and drums. He performed at his church and in various bands prior to discovering turntablism. After he and his family moved to Hollis, Queens, New York City in 1975 at the age of 10, he discovered the turntables and started DJing at the age of 13. He was high school friends with Wendell "DJ Hurricane" Fite, known for his 13-year collaboration with The Beastie Boys.

As a teenager, Mizell was involved with a group that committed residential burglaries. An encounter with an armed security guard frightened him into stopping the burglaries, and as an adult he was known for discouraging criminal activities among his friends and family.

For a time, he lived in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where turntablism pioneer DJ Def Lou Hauck taught him to crossfade. He caught on quickly because of his musical experience and after a year of DJing he felt that he was good enough to play in front of people. Originally calling himself Jazzy Jase, he attended high school at Andrew Jackson High School in New York City's Queens.

He first started playing at parks and later played at bars. He also began throwing small parties around the area. Once he got a pair of Technics 1200s he improved rapidly since he was able to practice at night with headphones on when he was supposed to be sleeping.

Mizell became a DJ because he "just wanted to be a part of the band". Prior to joining Run-DMC., he played bass and drums in several garage bands. In 1982, he joined Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels just after they graduated from high school and agreed to DJ for them because he wanted to be part of the band. On Run-DMCs album Raising Hell, Mizell played keyboards, bass, and live drums in addition to his turntable work. Mizell remained in his childhood neighborhood in Hollis, Queens his entire life.

The U.S. Justice Department announced the arrest of these two men.

In 1989, Mizell established Jam Master Jay Records. The label is most known for signing 50 Cent and Onyx. Jam Master Jay Records folded after Jason Mizell was murdered on October 30, 2002. 

His death was unsolved until 2020 when two men were criminally charged with the death of Jam Master Jay.

In 2018, Netflix released a documentary analyzing the circumstances of his murder. ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay?, the third episode of Netflix's ReMastered music documentary series, interviews several of Mizell's friends, family members and acquaintances who share stories they have heard regarding suspects in his murder. The documentary does not come to a conclusion regarding who the murderer(s) are. Also in 2018, former prosecutor Marcia Clark featured Jam Master Jay's murder in an episode of her series Marcia Clark Investigates The First 48 on A&E where she examined several scenarios and suspects for the murder. She spoke to former Run DMC road manager Darren “Big D” Jordan, who denied allegations of involvement made against him by Ronald Washington. Clark further interviewed Owen, who stood by his 2003 article as largely accurate and stated he did not know who shot Mizell but believed the murder was facilitated by Mizell's close friend Ronald Washington.

In 2020, Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr. were indicted for Mizell's murder. The indictment alleges that Mizell had recently acquired ten kilograms of cocaine from a distributor based in Maryland. Mizell, Washington, and Jordan had an agreement to sell the cocaine on consignment, but Mizell cut the two men out after a dispute.Washington had been considered a suspect very early in the investigation, and Jordan had been charged in August 2003 with attempted murder after shooting Mizell's nephew, Rodney Jones, in the leg.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
