Drooling in Texas.

Independent senator John Karl Fetterman of Pennsylvania who caucuses with the Democratic Party claims if the party does take back the senate by a slim majority, he will be the 51st vote. 

He also drooled that he will not endorse Angie Nixon, Troy Jackson or Abdul El-Sayed in their competitive bids.

He drooled at the Republican Midterm Convention where he said that will endorse Republican senator Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania. 

Fetterman has drooled over the phone with former senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, two former Democrats who became independents during Joe Biden's presidency.

They are close allies and stand firm in maintaining the filibuster and decorum.

Fetterman occasionally wears hoodies when in public. Suit and tie only when casting votes or attending a Joint Session of Congress or State of the Union.

Fetterman was elected as a Democrat in 2022. Serving as the member since 2023. He became senior senator when McCormick defeated centrist Bob Casey, Jr. in 2024.

Fetterman has went to Mar-a-Lago in 2024 to meet with Trump. He had breakfast with the president and off the record calls with him. He appears with Ted Cruz of Texas, Katie Britt of Alabama and Susan Collins of Maine, controversial Republican senators in their right.

Fetterman threatening to leave the caucus if the Democratic Party becomes more anti-Isrsel.

He has stated that many Democrats and leftists have Trump Derangement Syndrome.

He posed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who gifted him a pager. The electronic devices went off as bombs when Israel launched a terrorist attack in Beruit, Lebanon injuring and killing people.

Fetterman's staffers (current and former) express frustrations that he has more time to be on Fox, Newsmax, CNN and outlets that cater to MAGA then the people who voted for him.

He has favorable approval at 63% with Republicans. He has favorable approval at 25% with Democrats.

He is likely going to be a one and done. He has expressed frustrations with the senate being endless work and he is bored doing the job. His wife Gisele has been notably silent.

Her non profit business has struggled and she has not appeared with him much.

Fetterman had that stroke in 2022 during the height of the primary and general. He took on Dr. Mehmet Oz and beaten him. He voted to confirm Oz to a White House position.

Fetterman has been a headache to the Democrats. He continues to spark feuds.

At the Texas Tribune festival, Major Garrett joked with Fetterman when he let the words slip.

Fetterman defended his position in the Democratic Party on Saturday, arguing there should be more room for different opinions in the party. 

At the closing keynote of the Texas Tribune Festival, Fetterman said he doesn’t have a reason to join the Republicans, pointing to the fact that he joins the Democrats on most partisan votes.

“I don’t have a reason to,” Fetterman said. “But for a big-tent situation, it’s easier to be included in that big tent to say America deserved 9/11 or America is worse than Al-Qaida than being very proud to stand on the side of Israel.”

In a wide-ranging interview, Fetterman also pushed back against reporting from The Wall Street Journal this month that the senator dodged constituent meetings, drawing accusations that he was disinterested in doing the job of a senator.

To a Philadelphia Inquirer Editorial Board piece calling him a lazy senator, he pointed to the projects and spending he has secured for Pennsylvania, including in partnership with the Trump administration.

In a statement earlier this month, Fetterman said he would “still be the 51st vote that I ran on” if Democrats take the Senate, referring to the tie-breaking vote. But closing out the festival, he said speculation about the next Congress was irrelevant until after the November election.

“Wait till the midterms. See what I do,” Fetterman said. “Let’s revisit after the midterm and see what happens if I happen to be 51.”

Sporting his hallmark hoodie and gym shorts, Fetterman said he is also waiting until then to decide if he will run for reelection in 2028.

“I am fundraising with that as the possibility,” Fetterman said.

Nearly two-thirds of Pennsylvania Democrats view Fetterman unfavorably, according to a poll conducted last month by The New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Siena University. Although Pennsylvania Republicans view him more favorably than they do their GOP senator, U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick, Fetterman said he has “no path as a Republican.”

“If the Democratic Party votes me out or expels me, they’re always entitled to do that,” he continued.

Criticizing purity tests, Fetterman pointed to U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, the Texas Republican who lost his primary this spring to Attorney General Ken Paxton, who challenged him from the right.

“He’s a rock-ribbed conservative, and what happened to him?” Fetterman asked. “If we want a big tent party that people say, then the big tent for me means I happen to believe it is appropriate to hold Iran accountable and to stand with Israel throughout the Gaza war.”

Fetterman’s trip to Texas comes less than three weeks after he introduced McCormick in a surprise video at the GOP midterm convention in Dallas.

Fetterman, who flipped his Senate seat in 2022 with the support of U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, told the democratic socialist figurehead to “maybe sit a few out” after backing left-wing candidates in Democratic primaries. The formerly self-described progressive rejected “the extremes of socialism” in his convention video.

His popularity with the party base has tanked with his support for Israel and high-profile breaks with Democrats, like on funding the government and approving Trump’s nominees. Most recently, on Thursday, Fetterman cast the deciding vote against curbing President Donald Trump’s use of force in Iran.

Since 2025, Fetterman has been Democrats’ least reliable vote in the Senate, spurring speculation that he would leave the party. Despite Republicans’ attempts to coax him to their side, Fetterman has repeatedly reaffirmed his position as a lifelong Democrat.

“I’m not a Republican,” he said. 

Later in the evening, an audience question asked why Fetterman [just admit] he is an independent.

“Because I’m a lifelong Republican,” he said, raising his hand to his head, embarrassed after he realized the slip. “I guarantee you that will break through. That will get clipped.”

Okay, folks.

The Democratic Party are sabotaging their chances at winning the Midterms. Instead of putting forth policies that counter President Donald J. Trump and Republicans, they are doing bipartisan condemnation of a prominent progressive agitator who inspired people to vote for democratic socialists.

They are literally wasting more time talking about Hasan Piker than about the crumbling economy. 

I swear, if they continue this rambling about Piker, I am going to just sit it out.

I am tired of voting for bullshit. The Democratic Party thinks its key to winning is older Black voters, Jews and educated Americans. Well there are folks who are not into Republican Party policies but want to vote for the Democrats but can't because they want you to wait longer for generational change while they focus on the status quo. They want to chase after those elusive white voters.

Likely white women with biracial children are voting. Black women who are fed up with cost of living while they are working to succeed are voting. Black men who are tired of the stereotyping about them being violent and lazy are voting. Muslims tired of being told their religion is extreme when its not are voting. Arab Americans who are tired of being told to denounce someone who commits violence as its everyone are voting. Transgender Americans who are tired of being discriminated against and having their privacy violated are voting.

People are sick and tired of Israel.

People are tired of the junk food media focusing on distractions.

I want Angie Nixon, Abdul El-Sayed and even James Talarico to win their senate bids.

I want the Democrats to stop focusing on Piker and focus on the economy and the decline of this country. If you got time to condemn people who aren't running the government, you got time to do something as people running the government.
