Meet The GOP Nominee: One Huge Bore!

The Romney/Ryan Ticket Will Take The Mantle As The Leaders Of The Republican Party.

Listening to Mitt Romney. No talk about his policies or plans. I mean did I miss something?

The former Massachusetts governor achieved his six year goal of becoming a nominee for the Republican presidential ticket.

Right off the bat, Mitt Romney makes his case to the American people about what he could do if he was the president. Many speakers included Ann Romney, Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida), Condoleezza Rice, Governor Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin), Rick Santorum, Clint Eastwood, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), Artur Davis, Mia Love and Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-New Hampshire.

Mitt Romney has a five point plan to creating jobs. Okay how are you going to create 12 million jobs?

Talks about drilling, coal, nuclear without regulations. He criticized the president for not taking advantage of drilling and using coal.

The nominee talks about school choice. I am guessing school vouchers and cuts to education. Great how much money?

Trade war? How are you going to cut the deficit with what policies or laws?

Mitt has a 13% tax rate. So he wants small business taxes to be as low as he a corporation stockholder?

There's no talk about Afghanistan. A war that's been going on for over 10 years.

Mitt Romney lies about the president's record.

Mitt Romney doesn't go after abortion. He was a pro-choice governor.

But he wants to go after gay marriage. There's no discussion about the issues with Blacks, Latinos and veterans.

Mitt Romney takes his cues from conservative agitators.

Still rehashing this crap about the president apologizing to the world, but yet this clown slips his tongue about British spies and the complains about the London officials not ready for the Olympics. He claims that the president abandoning Israel and Poland.

When President Obama talked to the former president Dmitry Medvedev about the defense missile shield controversy, the president told Medvedev that after the elections he'll try to work on it. Romney pounced on the comments and warned Vladimar Putin not to bully the United States. So what Romney wants is basically another cold war with Russia.

Romney may be borrowing from China for these promises of tax cuts. Because the United States has a trillion dollar deficit from two unpaid wars, tax cuts for billionaires and medicare perks by George W. Bush.

No apologies to the former governor of Florida, Jeb Bush.

Romney may think he's about saving the world with his cape and spandex suit. But he has no foreign policy experience. He lacks in foreign relation skills. He thinks that President Barack Obama is hoping for Iran to have a nuclear weapon.

Since the days of the Bush Administration, all you heard was talk about Iran trying to develop a nuclear weapon. The CIA released a damaging virus to disrupt their program. The president has ordered numerous sanctions against the nation. Iran struck back by cutting off oil supply to the world. That drove gas prices up.

Yeah, we're paying over $50 in fuel. But there's disruptions in oil supply. Hurricanes, trade wars and conflict in the Middle East are factors. The United States doesn't have strong regulations on vehicle emissions. China and India are developing nations. If we drill for oil in the United States, it's not going to lower the prices. The prices of fuel will remain normal. Any oil drilling in the United States will be sold to the global market.

Romney is a huge bore. Nothing I've seen inspired me to change my mind about him. He may have fired up his supporters and there could be a political bounce for his convention speech, but will he take his magic to the debate fields?

We cover the Democratic National Convention. Will there be controversy? Of course.

Could President Barack Obama inspire those he managed to win over four years ago?

Clint Eastwood At Anti-Obama Convention | Anti-Obama Billboards Continue To Create Controversy!

An older man is at the center of the image smiling and looking off to the right of the image. He is wearing a white jacket, and a tan shirt and tie. The number 61 can be seen behind him on a background wall.
Clint Eastwood is a featured speaker at the Republican Anti-Obama National Convention.

We'll first start with actor/director Clint Eastwood. The aging celebrity endorsed Mitt Romney for president and became the headliner at the Anti-Obama National Convention. As a famed actor, Eastwood makes no bones about his opposition towards President Barack Obama.

The headliner of the Republican Party of course is their nominee, Mitt Romney. The former Massachusetts governor who ran more than his share of political campaigns takes the mantle of being the guy who could beat President Barack Obama.

Eastwood goes right into this little show with a empty chair (appearing as the president).

Million dollar baby?

Okay, now that we've gotten this nonsense out the way, here another dose of racist nonsense coming from the Republicans and their allies in the conservative movement.

Once again, you're seeing the rise of extremism in the conservative movement. These things are growing underneath the surface.

The Republicans are allowing some of their supporters take politics too far.

WBZ-TV Boston goes forth with the umpteenth offensive sign depicting President Barack Obama as the "other". This marks an ongoing issue with White conservative males and their reactionary outrage of the president and his supporters.

One shows a little girl raising her middle finger next to the message:

“Thanks Obama. You’ve spent my lunch money, my allowance, my inheritance, 35 years of future paychecks and my retirement. You Jerk. Vote Mitt Romney For 2012!”

The finger is now covered in packing tape.

Some people say the sign makes them uncomfortable.

“It’s being offensive,” one man told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Thursday.  ”I think you can send out the message without being this drastic.”

Others say it’s free speech.

“I think it’s a good idea, whether it’s on private property or not,” a supporter told WBZ.

Another billboard has a smiling photo of President Obama, with the communist hammer and sickle symbols on his shirt collar, next to the message:

“Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing its idiot. Obama – One Big A** Mistake America. Vote Mitt Romney For 2012!”

The owner of the property and the signs was contacted by WBZ-TV and WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Thursday, but declined to comment.

In addition to the political debate, there is also debate about where the billboards are legal.

According to town officials, owner Robert Sullivan did not get a necessary permit from the building commissioner to put them up.

Sullivan’s attorney, however, said they are protected under the First Amendment.

We're are all for the freedom of speech and the like, but how come the Republicans allow this type of disruptive speech?

I mean how bad could this get?

This anti-Obama behavior is disturbing. The Black community and Hispanic community aren't feeling the Republican Party nowadays. They've managed to push forth these radical agendas to make lives for the middle class worse than it is.

In Hanson, Massachusetts there's a lot of anti-Obama billboards sprouting around. They're the talk of the town. People are reacting to them just like us here at Journal de la Reyna.

These Republicans have no shame in their game. These people are fucking ignorant and I'm tired of it!

I wish the Democratic Party would be more aggressive against these type of attacks.

This isn't your father Republican Party!

The culture war continues and Republicans armed their troops with hate of the middle class, the lower class, minorities, GLBT, those who practice in Islam, and the many supporters of Barack Obama.

They deem those as enemies of the state.

Examples of what triggers conservatives: "Welfare", " Smaller Government", "Taking Our Country Back", "Entitlements", and "Victimhood".

Key words to a base of people who have strong intolerance towards race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, political and economic standings.

Famed Hip-Hop Manager Chris Lighty Found Dead!

The hip-hop community is mourning the death of legendary entertainment manager Chris Lighty.

The guy who managed the careers of Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, and LL Cool J has died. Chris Lighty was apparently found dead by a gunshot wound to his head according to his family members.

Lighty and his partner Mona Scott founded Violator Management.

Like rival Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond, Lighty has ties to criminals.

Lighty has been wanted by the feds for sometime on issues involving his taxes.

The Associated Press reports, Chris Lighty, 44, was discovered at his home in the Bronx with a gunshot wound to the head, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No note was recovered, but a 9 mm handgun was found at the scene and there was no sign of forced entry, said Paul Browne, chief spokesman for the New York Police Department.

The medical examiner's office will determine a cause of death, but authorities say the shooting appears to be self-inflicted.

Lighty was behind some of rap's leading figures, helping them not only attain hit records but also lucrative careers outside of music. He had been a part of the scene for decades, working with pioneers like LL Cool J before starting his own management company, Violator. But Lighty had been having recent financial and personal troubles.

Twitter was abuzz with condolences on his death just hours after the body was found at about 11:30 a.m.

"R.I.P. Chris Lighty," Fat Joe posted on his account. "The man that saved my life!"

Diddy wrote: "In shock."

Rihanna posted: "Rest peacefully Chris Lighty, my prayers go out to family and loved ones! Dear God please have mercy."

And Mary J. Blige wrote: "U never know what can send a person over the edge or make them want 2 keep living. take it easy on people."

50 Cent said in a statement issued through his publicist that he was deeply saddened by the loss:

"Chris has been an important part of my business and personal growth for a decade. He was a good friend and advisor who helped me develop as an artist and businessman. My prayers are with his family. He will be greatly missed."
50 Cent (left) and LL Cool J (center) were managed by Chris Lighty's Violator Management Group. Ludacris (right) stand with 50 Cent and LL Cool J. LL Cool J went on to recording 14 albums and continues a role in acting. He still continues his ties with Def Jam. Ludacris is the founder of Disturbing Tha Peace and is signed under Def Jam. 50 Cent is currently on Interscope Records signed through Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and Eminem's Shady Records.
Lighty was raised by his mother in the Bronx, one of six children. He ran with a group called The Violators, the inspiration for the name of his management company, according to the company website. He was a player in the hip-hop game since he was a kid DJ. He rose through the ranks at Rush Management (Simmons' first company) before eventually founding Violator Management in the late 1990s. (Mona Scott and James Cruz are partners).

"Today, we lost a hip-hop hero and one of its greatest architects," Simmons tweeted.

Lighty's roster ranged from Academy Award-winners Three 6 Mafia to maverick Missy Elliott to up-and-comer Papoose and perpetual star Carey. He made it his mission not so much to make musical superstars, but rather multifaceted entertainers who could be marketed in an array of ways: a sneaker deal here, a soft drink partnership there, a movie role down the road.

In a 2007 interview with The Associated Press, Lighty talked about creating opportunities for his stars _ a Chapstick deal for LL Cool J, known for licking his lips, a vitamin supplement deal for 50 Cent.

Busta Rhymes and Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott were managed by Chris Lighty. Busta Rhymes signed to Universal-Republic Records under Cash Money Records. Missy Elliott is signed to Atlantic Records.
"As music sales go down because kids are stealing it off the Internet and trading it and iPod sales continue to rise, you can't rely on just the income that you would make off of being an artist," he said at the time.

Lighty is survived by his two children. He and his wife, Veronica, had been in the process of divorcing. The case was still listed as active, but electronic records show an agreement to end it was filed in June.

He was also having financial trouble. City National Bank sued Lighty, whose given name is Darrell, in April, saying he had overdrawn his account by $53,584 and then refused to pay the balance. The case was still pending.

He also owed more than $330,000 in state and federal taxes, according to legal filings. His tax problems were much steeper a year ago, but he cleared away millions of dollars in earlier IRS liens last October, after selling his Manhattan apartment for $5.6 million.

Lighty once managed Ja Rule of Murder, Inc. fame. He cut ties with the rapper after threats by Irving "Irv Gotti" Lorenzo. When 50 Cent engaged in a longstanding feud with Ja Rule, Chris Lighty jumped on the single with rappers Eminem and Busta Rhymes for a retribution diss on Tupac Shakur's "Hail Mary" beat.

Violator had released two albums under its belt. One included the hit single "Vibrant Thing" by veteran rapper Q-Tip.

Way To Go Chris...

Chaos On The GOP Convention Floor

The following commentary is by Chauncey De Vega from the We Are Respectable Negroes blog.  I want you to take a look at this loony bin insult at a poised delegate who was about to give her speech yesterday.

A Particularly Low Class of White People: Republicans Throw Nuts at Black Folks; They Heckle the "Foreign" Delegate from Puerto Rico

Their forefathers were John Birchers. Their grand-pappies and grandmas likely spent time at the monthly lynching tree. Some of them were members of White Citizens Councils, the "polite" racists, who stood against civil rights for black folks and upheld Jim and Jane Crow. Earlier this year, the most zealous among them booed gay soldiers, howled in glee at the prospect of a person being executed by the State, and cheered the idea of some sad soul dying because they did not have health insurance.

This is the contemporary face of the Republican Party.

When Republicans heckled Zoraida Fonalledas, the representative from Puerto Rico to their own convention with nativist chants earlier today, they reminded the American people who and what they really are...again.

When a black CNN reporter had nuts thrown at her, and was told "this is how we feed the animals," the Tea Party GOP showed up who they have always been...again.

And do not buy into the excuse-making: Chants of "U.S.A." have nothing to do with an internecine conflict between Ron Paul and establishment conservatives. Rather, this episode has everything to do with white conservative xenophobia and anti-immigrant zeal by a group of mouth-breathing Right-wing troglodytes who believe that Puerto Ricans are dangerous Spanish speaking "foreigners."

In all, the racist and xenophobic ugliness on display during Tuesday's meeting of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida should not be a surprise. The elites and opinion leaders of the Right have created this witches brew; now, they will either be saved by their monster or the beast will consume them.

My mother's people are from North Carolina. My grandmother and other elders would often talk about "good white people." The ability to distinguish between white people who would kill you, discriminate against you at will, or put you out of house and home because they could, was a practical life skill. We may no longer have The Negro Motorist Green Book, but black and brown folks still give their kids "the talk" about how to survive a routine traffic stop by the police. Cultural memory is deep and a gift. I am so very glad (and lucky) they passed on their wisdom and life skills. In turn, if so blessed, I will them down to my children as well.

It is true that white supremacy has evolved over time; but the lives of people of color are still expendable, and subject to arbitrary violence in America by White Authority (and those overly identified with it--see George Zimmerman).

For people of color in the United States, skillfully and successfully navigating the color line meant (and means) protecting your own life, as well as that of your children and family. Those of us who are not part of the in-group, or otherwise marginalized by Power, have to learn this skill set if we are to survive and do well in this society. Consequently, black and brown folks have to become expert students on the ways of white people.

I do wonder if Whiteness and White Privilege permits our white brothers and sisters to realize how much people of color know about them and their particular ways.

To point: as my parents and other elders have taught me, the "U.S.A" chanting cowboy hat wearing white populists who heckled Zoraida Fonalledas represent a particularly low class of white people. They may have money, but this group of white people has no decency. The low type of white person exemplified by the neo-John Birch base of the Tea Party GOP are also bigots. All that they have to comfort them is a weak type of nationalism which is emboldened by silly chanting, and the psychic wages of whiteness that happen to come with being arbitrarily categorized as "white" in this society.

The slogan "free, white, and twenty-one" got this class of white people through many decades of life in America. In an increasingly globalized world, with a black president, and a multicultural leadership class, such a slogan is approaching obsolescence. For many white people this is a terrifying prospect.

By comparison, Senator Priebus and Mitt Romney represent a slightly "better" class of white people. The latter is most certainly a racist. The former is likely one as well given his enabling of his party's Southern Strategy 2.0 and race-baiting against Barack Obama, the country's first black president. Together, both are "polite" racists. They have no love for what was once called "poor white trash." Elite whites such as Romney and Priebus use materially disadvantaged and racially resentful white people as a tool in order to maximize their own wealth and resources. The white reactionary populists who form the base of the Republican Party in the Age of Obama have not yet woken up to this old school con.

This brings us full circle. What of Zoraida Fonalledas? How do make sense of her awkward moment? On one hand, the better and more generous part of my soul has pity for her. It must hurt to realize that you are viewed with contempt by your own political brethren and comrades. As I suggested several here, she, and other conservatives who happen to be black, Latino, Asian, Native American, or Other, are sick with a delusion that they are "special" or "different" in the eyes of the White conservative gaze. Tuesday's happenings could perhaps be her wake up call.

The more cynical and less noble part of my soul smirks and smiles. Zoraida Fonalledas made her bed and now has to lie in it. Yes, the money and gold are substantial. Nevertheless, I struggle to understand how any self-respecting person of color could ally with the Tea Party GOP, the country's de facto White political party, and an organization whose electoral strategy increasingly consists of mining white racism and anxiety towards people of color to secure electoral victory.

I think that I will just smile. Zoraida Fonalledas experienced her own "Lisa broke Ralph's heart moment" on a national stage. The question remains: will Zoraida Fonalledas, and other non-white conservatives like her, keep coming back to the Tea Party GOP for more abuse?

I think we know the answer. They are almost to the one, sad pathetic souls.

Stick & Stones: GOP Name Drops Obama More Than Romney!

The Romney Campaign despise "fact checkers" correcting their statements. Vice Presidential Nominee Paul Ryan spoke at the Anti-Obama National Convention. Many reporters found that the nominee told a fiery speech going after the president. Ryan's critics think he's misled the public with statements that come off as not true.
From the Republican nominee all the way down to the Fox News Channel, you've gotten individuals so obsessed with dropping President Barack Obama's name. The people who support Mitt Romney for president can't think of anything positive about him. They can only say "he's better than Obama". They drop the name of the president more than their nominee!

The Huffington Post keeping track of the coverage of the Republican Anti-Obama National Convention in which the leader of the political party Mitt Romney takes the helms as their nominee.

When I gotten the opportunity to listen to vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan, the congressman of Wisconsin. I've listened to Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Governor Chris Christie (R-New Jersey), Tim Pawlenty, Artur Davis, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-New Hampshire), Governor Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin), Governor John Kasich (R-Ohio), Governor Susana Martinez (R-New Mexico) Rick Santorum, Mia Love, Ted Cruz, Condoleezza Rice, Mike Huckabee, Senator John McCain (R-Arizona), and numerous small business owners.

Each of them told a story about how they gotten here and why it's not the best of times with Barack Obama as the President of The United States. They have used cliches and misquotes to paint the president as a failure.

They've taken on the "WE BUILT THAT" theme after the president make the "You Didn't Build That!" comment in Roanoke, Virginia.

These guys mislead the president's message on bipartisanship. We go back to the Republicans objective back in 2008 - 2009. We're mad at Barack Obama! We're not going to allow him a victory.

The Democrats had a few months of a supermajority. The president couldn't get his policies passed because of some Democrats siding with Republicans. The Republicans stood firm in opposition.

Now the Congress is split between the Republicans in the House of Representatives and the Democrats in the Senate. They can't even get a compromise with a House passing legislation they know the president is going to veto. The Senate can't get nothing done if Republicans filibuster debate.

This attack on the president show desperation.

President Barack Obama is anticipating that their negativity will turn independents off.

The Republicans are going the all out strategy. They will make this a "red meat" issue.

The war in Afghanistan is off the table. Improving stock market is off the table. George W. Bush is off the table. Bipartisanship is off the table.

The only thing that keeps this bunch of lunatics going is dropping Barack Obama, banning abortions, banning gay marriage, repealing regulations and safety nets, welfare reform, defense spending, and getting Obamacare repealed.

Here's Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin), the Republican vice presidential nominee.

Michelle Obama: A Naked Slave?

Fuera de Serie michelle obama cover
Freedom of speech or just another offensive caricature of First Lady Michelle Obama?

La Reyna covered this earlier today.

A Spanish magazine cover is getting buzz across the ocean. The Fuera de Serie depicts the First Lady of the United States as a naked slave woman.

The Toronto Sun reports the first lady's face superimposed over the famous 1800 painting "Portrait d'une Negresse" by French feminist artist Marie-Guillemine Benoist.

The doctored image is not the magazine's creation. It was taken from the "Famous Nudes" series by artist Karine Percheron-Daniels, who describes her work as trying "to offer an alternative unexpected reality to allow the viewer to re-examine his unique subjective experience and general understanding and view the world and people in a different way."

The description of the article, titled "Michelle: Great-great-granddaughter of a Slave, Owner of America," on the magazine's website  appears to describe a positive profile of the former lawyer and first African-American first lady.

"In the shadow of the U.S. president is a person whose popularity ratings exceed those of Barack. This person is none other than his wife Michelle, who stars in the cover of the magazine this week," reads the description as roughly translated from Spanish.

It continues, "To find out how Michelle has managed to seduce the American people, the journalist Paul Scarpellini details the secrets of women who not only won the heart of Barack Obama."

But many Americans are offended by the controversial depiction of their first lady.

"Let's be clear: This image has nothing to do with acknowledging Obama's enslaved foremothers, and everything to do with reinforcing and extending the historical denial of black women's individuality and agency," wrote Clutch Magazine 's Althea Legal-Miller.

Brande Victorian of Madame Noire  said the image reinforces "the idea that Michelle Obama is and always will be a slave in far too many people's eyes, no matter how far we're removed from physical enslavement, and how high of a position she's climbed to in society."

TheFrisky.com called the cover "tasteless."

"Plenty of absurd things are 'artsy,' like crafting Jesus on the cross out of elephant feces or giving birth inside an art gallery as a live-action installation. But a drawing of Michelle Obama topless on the cover of Fuera de Serie is plain old tasteless," wrote Jessica Wakeman.

"In my opinion, they have every right to depict her artistically, even in poor taste. But that doesn't mean they should do it," wrote Wakeman.

I am going to honest. I never seen any depictions of former First Ladies Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan, Roselynn Carter or Betty Ford.

How come it has to be the first African American woman to hold the title?

Why are White people so angry?

Why can't they look at President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as human beings first!

Why is the Republican Party stuck in the 20th Century?

Yet Again !!!!!

Totally Offensive!

GOP Attendee: That's How We Feed The Animals!

The anti-Obama Convention already drawn controversy with one of their attendees harassing a Black camerawoman.
The Republican Anti-Obama National Convention is underway. The delegates gather together to make Mitt Romney their nominee and leader of the party. During yesterday's festivities, you've heard the president's name dropped more than their nominee. The speakers couldn't find anything inspiring about their nominee. Even wife, Ann tried to paint a millionaire like her husband Mitt as a "regular guy".

Rick Santorum, famously said that he doesn't want his money to make "blah" people's lives better went onstage trying to paint the president as aloof and determined to destroy the fundamental Christian values that makes the Republican Party whole. Yet, nothing about his former rival.

Artur Davis, a former Democratic congressman went forth with the most harshest attack on the president. He made the case that his former party has spent all their time attacking Romney. But yet what is Davis doing?

Current TV the home of liberal agitators Stephanie Miller, David Schuster, Bill Press, Eliot Spitzer and Jennifer Granholm.

David Schuster tweeted:

White Like Cocaine!

The message of the Republicans: Snort Coke And Then Blame Obama For The High!

Republicans are White like cocaine!

Why?

The party is nearly 90% WHITE, 10% everything else.

Cocaine is a powerful drug.

These people are fucking doped up on ignorance and bigotry. They're not patriots! They're a bunch of pain inducing morons with language that comes off as condescending, sexist, racist, Islamophobic, homophobic and outright stupid.

Right off the bat, the Republican National Convention isn't packed. I mean seriously, I am watching it and see how the audience of the first day of this so-called jamboree of right wing agitators and legislators is not a packed house.

If you listen to the Republicans, all you hear is the negative talk about President Barack Obama. They have no solutions to match his "failed" policies. They can't tell you what Mitt Romney's policies are! All you hear from the Republicans and their conservative allies is basically they hate Obama and they want him gone!

Mitt Romney and the Republican Party: Where being anti-Obama is a right! Not an option!

Hurricane Isaac has put a damper on the festivities. The president, the Democratic Party and his progressive allies are gleeful that the worst is happen to Mitt Romney and his party.

When Reince Priebus cut back the event by a day, that left the Republicans scrambling to put forth speakers who will not draw controversy. Meaning those lovely Tea Party activists who spoke highly of not being represented by the two respectable parties were cut. That created a mess within its ranks.

The Republicans are trying to send a message to the embattled President Barack Obama, either "We Built That!" or "You're Fired!" I don't know which message is clear, but I know the controversial issues that fall forth are simplistic.

Watching Republican governors Terry Branstad (Iowa), Scott Walker (Wisconsin), John Kasich (Ohio), Bob McDonnell (Virginia), and Chris Christie (New Jersey) brag about their declining unemployment rates in their states.

You got to understand this. If they're bragging about the success in their states, that means the president's policies are working! These morons are so obsessed with blaming the president for the mess he inherited. And yet they're taking credit for the successful policies enacted by the president. That's probably why the Romney campaign wants them to avoid mentioning the economic successes. These states were carried by Barack Obama in 2008. Each state is considered a toss up in regards to the electoral map.

Congressman Todd Akin (R-Missouri) screwed up and now it's likely a toss up for the Missouri senate seat occupied by Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri).

Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-New Hampshire) makes a ridiculous statement comparing the president handling of the economy to running a lemonade stand. Of course, she's one of the many members of the Republican fold willing to stop the progress so she could steal the tip jar and lemonade.
Standing Tall.

Former senator and presidential candidate Rick Santorum goes right into attack mode. He revisits his failed strategy of blaming President Barack Obama for welfare and food stamps. Criticizing the single mother, gay marriage and public schools. Typical nonsense from a rabid right wing asshat.

Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) and Mitt Romney are the nominees for the Republican Party.

Many still haven't gotten to know the former governor and perennial candidate for president. They're still undecided on him. They do feel confident that he is more able minded to fix the economy. But they think he's either condescending or not concerned with the middle class. Thursday, Mitt Romney will take the mantle as the leader of the Republican Party. We can only hope that he can inspire the nation!

People we're looking at Berry Goldwater 2.0.

We are seeing the Pat Buchanan in the GOP.

Rush Limbaugh is the leader of the Republican Party.

Get use to four more years of your sworn enemy President Barack Obama.

My Honest Opinion Of Mitt Romney!

Sigh! Ann Romney will introduce the world to Mitt Romney. The first Mormon to take the mantle of the Republican Party. Could Mitt Romney be destined for political failure?
As the first American Mormon to ever get the nomination of a major political party, I want to share my thoughts and honest opinion of this candidate. I wish his campaign well, but I really think he's potentially destined for political failure.

When he first ran for President of The United States, I was then working on making YouTube videos in support of the lunatic perennial candidate for president, Ron Paul. At the whim of a late friend, I was introduced into the Ron Paul Revolution. I never heard of the Texas congressman, but I got an opportunity to meet him and the nominee of the 2012 Republican Presidential Campaign.

I participated in the 2007 YouTube challenge. I was working on a video talking about the situation in my community. I was hoping that my impact would help get my message out there. As CNN was venturing into new opportunities to make politics interesting, they've decided to partner up with YouTube to make an event  worth while.

YouTube selected twelve people to participate in the YouTube Democratic and Republican Debates being hosted by CNN. I missed my first opportunity to meet then Senators John Edwards, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

I was one of the winners of the contest to have my video played on CNN. YouTube's parent company Google sent me down to St. Petersburg, Florida at the Mahaffey Theater.

I had an opportunity to see CNN host Anderson Cooper, Senator John McCain (R-Arizona), Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter and Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas).

I got to meet actor/conservative activist Chuck Norris, then governor Charlie Crist, the founders of YouTube and many others in attendance. I've gotten the opportunity to shake hands with Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Duncan Hunter.

Retired military officer Keith Kerr, rocked the forum by asking a question about their opposition to LGBT men and women in uniform not being allow to serve. This caused great outrage on Fox News, The Drudge Report and CNN.

The Republicans were making the case to become the president. Unfortunately, they've proven they were no match for the economic turmoils under the watch of President George W. Bush. The media was rooting for either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama to win.

The media was invested in the historical run of a woman and an African American running for president.

Mitt Romney lost the first time running for the Republican nomination. The nomination went to John McCain. He didn't pick him as a vice presidential candidate. McCain picked Alaskan governor Sarah Palin. They went on to lose to Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Mitt Romney has ran for higher office for years. Once as a U.S. Senator. He lost.

Once as a state governor. He won. He managed to serve one term as the governor of Massachusetts. He managed to sign a law that granted healthcare to state residents. He allowed his state to become the first to legalize same-sex marriage.

He tried to run for president, the first time. He lost. He's been trying to regroup and urge many of the party faithful to join him in unison to oppose President Barack Obama. He is now becoming the Republican nominee.

Okay, now many aren't familiar with him. Many think of him negatively. He and his wife Ann are trying to revamp his image.

I am not going to be nice when I say this about Mitt Romney and his family. They were really are irritating. They come off as a bunch of assholes. They act like they're a normal family. What the fuck?

You're running for the freaking President of The United States. You can't live a normal life, Mitt!

You act like President Barack Obama is a demon sent from the depths of hell. You think he was summoned to come and destroy the United States and Israel.

Some conservatives worry that Romney could damage the brand.

You're a weathervane. You swing around whenever the wind blows.

You're a boring loser. Your father is a loser. Your mother is a loser.

You could win, I give you that! The economy isn't improving fast enough and people are very unhappy with the progress of the president and Congress. But if it wasn't for a bunch of assholes with a vendetta to deny the president a victory, we wouldn't be in this mess.

You can call upon Matt Drudge, Karl Rove, Sean Hannity and the rest of the conservative agitating media to do your dirty work and yet you call the president the panderer of hate.

I'm sorry. If he wins, White people are forever etched in stone for subtle racism.

Blacks would look upon this as a testament to how White people are not comfortable to the notion of a Black person, a woman, a Hispanic/Latino or a gay president.

Mitt Romney and his family go on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. This softball interview goes right into the problem with this guy. He can't figure out how to be a "regular guy".

He's so fake. It's not even funny!

Part 1:

Part 2:

ROPE? Conservatives Pass Around Racist Emails!

Wake Sean Hannity up! There's one of his fellow conservatives sending another racist email depicting President Barack Obama as something offensive.

Chirps of crickets when you hear from Sean Hannity, the Republicans and their conservative allies when it comes to racist emails being forwarded by conservative Republicans.

Why focus on that silly conservative agitator?

This fool Hannity lives in a bubble.

He thinks President Barack Obama is playing dirty politics. He's on radio complaining about Vice President Joe Biden "ya'll in chains" comment and the Priorities USA infamous ad depicting Republican nominee Mitt Romney as a heartless murderer.

But yet we have the Republican nominee making references to the president, "not being like one of us!" Making references to welfare in order to whistle White male voters.

Having members of the Republican Party depict the president as a "socialist", "tar baby" and  "not legally born". We got most of the Republican Party wanting to drive the economy into the ground in order to win back the White House. Sean Hannity never sees this issue.

Well Matt Desmond and his team over at Addicting Info report that the right wing email depicting the president in his silhouette HOPE poster rewritten as ROPE. In other words, "hangin' a Nigger President!"

The right wing emails are composed by an individual who passes it along to someone else. When they get forward to members of the Republican Party, some in the media focuses on the person who sent it. The person caught makes an abrupt apology to the president or those they've offended. If they were really sincere about this apology, why on earth would they send it?

MyRightWingDad.net is a popular fixture on Blogger. This gem makes up one of the hundreds of emails sent to the website. The website leans liberal.

You tell me how many of these assholes out there are seriously disturbed.

We just had four U.S. soldiers plotting to assassinate the president.

This type of nonsense is why Republicans are not only hated by the Black community but the Democratic Party entirely. The Republicans put blinders on their eyes when it comes to one of their own. When these people are caught with one of these racist emails, why does it reflex the individual and not the party?

New Orleans Braces For Hurricane Isaac!

Isaac is approaching New Orleans, seven years to the day, Hurricane Katrina leveled the city.
Isaac is a dangerous storm. The potential of the tropical storm becoming a hurricane is likely. And it's aimed directly for New Orleans. Tuesday's arrival of the storm marks the day that Hurricane Katrina destroy the South.

Over seven years ago, Hurricane Katrina pounded New Orleans, Louisiana and Biloxi, Mississippi. The hurricane killed over thousands of people. President George W. Bush felt the impact. He was roundly criticized for taking a vacation while the hurricane was approaching. The Bush administration's slow actions lead to the direct destruction of a major city.

When celebrities were fundraising for the victims of the hurricane, Kanye West made an impromptu speech declaring that George W. Bush doesn't care about Black people.

Are we seeing history repeating itself?

No.

People are preparing for this one. People are bracing for the Category 1 (even possibility of Category 2) storm. This storm could bring damage to the Gulf Coast.

In 2005, the fuel prices soared up to over $3.00 a gallon. The shut down of oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and the potential damages of communities surrounding the Gulf Coast has driven fuel prices above the normal.

The New York Daily News reports that the GOP is panicked that Tropical Storm Isaac will morph into a hurricane and begin pounding the Gulf coast late Monday or early Tuesday. They don’t want to have to compete for news time with a dramatic hurricane.

But a bigger cause for their alarm is the very real possibility Isaac will hit New Orleans. And if it does, it may remind Americans of the last time New Orleans took the full brunt of a hurricane – and the non-response from the last Republican White House.

It was Hurricane Katrina, and the President was George W. Bush. Weeks and months went by as the residents of New Orleans suffered.

allbaugh
Then President George W. Bush and former FEMA chief Michael Brown. Then President Bush uttered the infamous words: "Brownie, you're doing a heck a of a job!"

“Heck of a job, Brownie,” said Bush to the administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Administration, Michael Brown –  who hadn’t done his job at all.

That’s because Bush not only failed New Orleans. He also told America there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq – leading us into a terrible war on the basis of a lie.

High fuel prices happen during a hurricane or disruption in oil supply.
In addition, Bush took a $5 trillion budget surplus, handed to him by the Clinton administration, and turned it into an almost $6 trillion debt. He did this by enacting a giant tax cut that went mostly to wealthy Americans, passing a Medicare drug benefit that mostly benefitted the drug companies, and then convincing Congress to bail out Wall Street – no strings attached.

The Bush administration also let Wall Street get away with the risky bets and predatory home loans, until the Street almost melted down.

Mitt Romney and others who are gathering in Tampa want to erase the memory of George W. Bush. They want to blame President Obama for the budget deficit and the lousy economy. That’s what their infomercial is largely about.

But if a Hurricane Isaac pounds New Orleans, Americans may start to recall the Bush administration anyway. They may even begin to recall how Republicans treat average Americans in need. And how they treat top executives from corporations and Wall Street whose jets have just been cleared to land in Tampa, where they’ll be wined and dined for the next three days.

U.S. Soldiers Plot Murder Of President Barack Obama!

Pfc. Michael Burnett and Private Christopher Salmon were arrested with two others in an apparent plot to assassinate President Barack Obama. The FBI uncovered these individuals after an informant tipped them off.
Not even a full week and we're covering more radicalism within the conservative movement. The White nationalist movement is dangerous. The online rage and rabble rousing from the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity has motivated some to commit acts of domestic terrorism.

White supremacists are actively recruiting the returning soldier, the angry veteran, the former cop, and the rejected young person. These people are willing to be the gofer to a domestic terrorist attack. The lone wolf gunman has no real motive. The lone wolf gunman is either upset over rejection and they feel that in order to attract attention, they commit a mass shooting. The only thing that inspires a White supremacist is hate of a diverse nation and the potential reelection of the first Black president. They already concluded that Barack Obama will win reelection. They want to start the great "race war".

The American Family Association/Family Research Council shooting was one of the most recent incidents in which a person was inspired to commit an act of violence. The voices of the angry White conservative male led to one shooting a security guard at the conservative lobbyist group in Washington, D.C.

Floyd Lee Corkins II, 28, of Herndon, Virginia was apparently inspired by the talk radio and the conservative lobbyist groups strong opposition towards LGBT rights. This gentlemen will face the possibility of decades in prison if convicted for the shooting. Family Research Council was labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization.

The reports say that Corkins told the guard he didn't like the group's politics before opening fire with a semiautomatic handgun. Corkins was carrying dozens of rounds of ammunition and 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches, according to the court documents.

The Washington state area man who emailed the FBI and  U.S. Secret Service threats to the president and his family. Anton Calouri, 31 of Federal Way, Washington had made it clear he was angry at the president.
Hate is rising.
Calouri issued a warning to the FBI of a “cop-killing spree…just over the hill” and said that dying “isn’t frightening…it’s peaceful…you will see.”

“You can’t afford to call my bluff,” said Calouri. The threat arrived in the general inbox for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the affidavit says.

The Los Angeles Times says that he was charged in a criminal complaint with threatening the president and assaulting a federal agent. He made an initial appearance in federal court in Seattle, where his lawyer said she would seek a psychological evaluation. A bail hearing was set for Monday.

“Recent national events are a stark reminder that we must take these threats of death or violence seriously,” Jenny A. Durkan, U.S. attorney in Seattle, said in a statement. “This case had all the troubling ingredients: threats of violence and explosive devices, multiple weapons with hundreds of rounds and even brandishing of a weapon at law enforcement.”

In charging documents, federal authorities said that U.S. Secret Service agent   Bryan Molnar and Federal Way police officer Andy Hensing on Tuesday afternoon cautiously approached the address Caluori had listed as his in the email.

It seemed clear that Caluori would be expecting them. The email commanded: “GET HERE…NOW!!! Or [expletive] THIS PLANTE [sic]…HARD!!!”

Wade Michael Page, a White supremacist who was once enlisted in the U.S. military attacked a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin. He managed to kill seven individuals before being killed by law enforcement.

The tragic shooting at a movie theater in Aurora,Colorado by James Holmes led to 12 people being killed and numerous others injured. Federal prosecutors haven't determined what inspired him to kill but it's likely his anger at government and being rejected by society factors to this shooting.

U.S. Army Sergeant Anthony Peden and Pvt. Isaac Aguigui were arrested with two others. They called themselves F.E.A.R., a radical militia group that plotted the killing of federal officials including President Barack Obama.
Now we're looking into the assassination plot by four active military officers in Georgia. The individuals had ties the sovereign militia movement. The movement is inspired by White nationalism and the fundamental Christian theories.

According to the Huffington Post/Associated Press, these men based out of southeast Georgia killed a former comrade and his girlfriend to protect an anarchist militia group they formed that stockpiled assault weapons and plotted a range of anti-government attacks, prosecutors told a judge Monday.

Prosecutors in rural Long County, near the sprawling Army post Fort Stewart, said the militia group of active and former U.S. military members spent at least $87,000 buying guns and bomb components. They allege the group was serious enough to kill two people – former soldier Michael Roark and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Tiffany York – by shooting them in the woods last December in order to keep its plans secret.

"This domestic terrorist organization did not simply plan and talk," prosecutor Isabel Pauley told a Superior Court judge. "Prior to the murders in this case, the group took action. Evidence shows the group possessed the knowledge, means and motive to carry out their plans."
Conservatives think that radical Islam is a threat. Nope. It's Christian radicals who are motivated by individuals who have anger towards illegal immigration, abortion doctors, gun control, urban crime, gay rights, and President Barack Obama.
One of the Fort Stewart soldiers charged in the case, Pfc. Michael Burnett, also gave testimony that backed up many of the assertions made by prosecutors. The 26-year-old soldier pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter, illegal gang activity and other charges. He made a deal to cooperate with prosecutors against the three other soldiers.

Prosecutors said the group called itself F.E.A.R., short for Forever Enduring Always Ready. Pauley said authorities don't know how many members it had.

Burnett, 26, said he knew the group's leaders from serving with them at Fort Stewart. He agreed to testify against fellow soldiers Pvt. Isaac Aguigui, identified by prosecutors as the militia's founder and leader, and Sgt. Anthony Peden and Pvt. Christopher Salmon.

All are charged by state authorities with malice murder, felony murder, criminal gang activity, aggravated assault and using a firearm while committing a felony. A hearing for the three soldiers was scheduled Thursday.

Prosecutors say Roark, 19, served with the four defendants in the 4th Brigade Combat Team of the Army's 3rd Infantry Division and became involved with the militia. Pauley said the group believed it had been betrayed by Roark, who left the Army two days before he was killed, and decided the ex-soldier and his girlfriend needed to be silenced.

Burnett testified that on the night of Dec. 4, he and the three other soldiers lured Roark and York to some woods a short distance from the Army post under the guise that they were going target shooting. He said Peden shot Roark's girlfriend in the head while she was trying to get out of her car. Salmon, he said, made Roark get on his knees and shot him twice in the head. Burnett said Aguigui ordered the killings.

"A `loose end' is the way Isaac put it," Burnett said.

Aguigui's attorney, Daveniya Fisher, did not immediately return a phone call from The Associated Press. Attorneys for Peden and Salmon both declined to comment Monday.

Also charged in the killings is Salmon's wife, Heather Salmon. Her attorney, Charles Nester, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Pauley said Aguigui funded the militia using $500,000 in insurance and benefit payments from the death of his pregnant wife a year ago. Aguigui was not charged in his wife's death, but Pauley told the judge her death was "highly suspicious."

She said Aguigui used the money to buy $87,000 worth of semiautomatic assault rifles, other guns and bomb components that were recovered from the accused soldiers' homes and from a storage locker. He also used the insurance payments to buy land for his militia group in Washington state, Pauley said.
They hide in the shadows. The militia movement has grown and the Southern Poverty Law Center has raised concerns  about the potential of a domestic terrorism threat.
In a videotaped interview with military investigators, Pauley said, Aguigui called himself "the nicest cold-blooded murderer you will ever meet." He used the Army to recruit militia members, who wore distinctive tattoos that resemble an anarchy symbol, she said. Prosecutors say they have no idea how many members belong to the group.

"All members of the group were on active-duty or were former members of the military," Pauley said. "He targeted soldiers who were in trouble or disillusioned."

The prosecutor said the militia group had big plans. It plotted to take over Fort Stewart by seizing its ammunition control point and talked of bombing the Forsyth Park fountain in nearby Savannah, she said. In Washington state, she added, the group plotted to bomb a dam and poison the state's apple crop. Ultimately, prosecutors said, the militia's goal was to overthrow the government and assassinate the president.

Fort Stewart spokesman Kevin Larson said the Army has dropped its own charges against the four soldiers in the slayings of Roark and York. The Military authorities filed their charges in March but never acted on them. Fort Stewart officials Monday refused to identify the units the accused soldiers served in and their jobs within those units.

"Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield does not have a gang or militia problem," Larson said in a prepared statement, though he said Army investigators still have an open investigation in the case.

"However, we don't believe there are any unknown subjects," he said.

District Attorney Tom Durden said his office has been sharing information with federal authorities, but no charges have been filed in federal court. Jim Durham, an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, would not comment on whether a case is pending.

ZERO! ROMNEY: NO BLACK SUPPORT!

Herman Cain, the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza, and Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, were the targets of much attention at the Republican presidential debate in Hanover, N.H.
No kidding. Black voters aren't supporting Mitt Romney.
According to the NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll, the Romney/Ryan ticket has finally cracked a milestone. They have managed to keep less than 2% of African American vote. To make this clear, Mitt Romney has zero support from the Black community.

That's not good. President Barack Obama has 94% of the support with 6% undecided.

So I am guessing that Jesse Lee Peterson, Angela McGlowan, Congressman Tim Scott (R-South Carolina), Congressman Allen West (R-Florida), and many Black Republicans cover only .0001% of the Black vote.

No, it's not about racism. It's about Mitt Romney not appealing to voters on issues that affect the Black community.

So don't bother us about the overwhelming support of President Barack Obama. Why the Black community isn't into the Republican Party?

And don't try to rehash that false argument that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. You may lose more support.

Ron Paul: I Maybe Crazy! But I'm Not Endorsing Mitt Romney For President!

Two perennial candidates share a moment during the 2012 U.S. Presidential Campaign. Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) ends his third run for president. His often controversial stances on issues such as the foreign wars, the legalization of drugs and eliminating government agencies and the Federal Reserve attracted an often crazy but supportive base of voters.
The perennial candidate closes out his campaign in Tampa saying he's not going to endorse the Republican nominee. Dubbed the godfather of the American Tea Party movement, this congressman has been at the forefront of the war against the bloated government. Even though, he achieved little success as a legislator, he managed to be a well-known presidential candidate. He is hated both by the left and the right, this perennial candidate knew how to get the crowd roaring.

As the potential Hurricane Isaac disrupts the Republican National Convention, the cult of Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) is embracing their candidate with a farewell. The candidate announced that he wasn't going to seek reelection for his congressional seat. So as he begins his retirement from the House of Representatives he puts into perspective of his third and final run for Republican presidential nomination.

With a strong (almost scary cult) following of supporters, their aggressive carpet bombing of the internet help garner the congressman respectful coverage.

The supporters believe that the "lack" of coverage of the Ron Paul presidential campaign is a conspiracy created by the mainstream media and Republican leaders to keep him off the ballot.

The supporters of Ron Paul scorned Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. They believe these two candidates were establishment figures of a bigger conspiracy. They believe that the candidates are followers of the New World Order.

The supporters of Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) believe the world is misinformed. They want to wake us up! Reality hasn't woke them up! They've  been ridiculed as extremist. The supporters of the congressman's presidential bid are very passionate about this. They have hostile confrontations online and in the public with people. They can become violent if they're provoked by someone who criticized Congressman Ron Paul.
When Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) defected from his father's failed campaign to endorse the perennial candidate, former governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney, the supporters went totally crazy.

There might be some of these supporters reading this article.

I want them to know the honest opinion about this person.

Ron Paul is an establishment candidate who's "KOOKY" ideas appeal to the broad coalition of pot smokers, disengaged conservatives and libertarians who hate this GOP crop of Presidential candidates, liberals who think he's all about ending the wars, anti-Semitics who think that ending foreign aid to lower nations and Israel is the perfect solution (even though these nations aid the United States in these goddamn wars), extremists (the ones who appear on tax revolters, survivalist, conspiracy theorist and White Supremacists websites) and people who think they've "read the Constitution all the ways!"

Understand this!

Congressman Ron Paul has no accomplishments under his over 30 years in Congress.

One freaking bill was passed by Congress under his sponsorship. He has no other endorsement politically. No one supports a fringe candidate who has a cult of ignorance. Just because a few "weed" smoking celebrities (Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson) endorses this piece of shit, doesn't mean shit!

They'll end up voting for President Barack Obama any fucking way (once again for you for your information). You and the many followers of the cult will get nowhere! What on earth thinks you got the notion that "he's winning" every freaking time!" Paul has not won any states and has the fewest delegates by far.

If he failed the first time and the second time. What gives you the notion to honestly think this candidate could win if he tried for the third time.

The Republicans refuse to invite the former governor of Alaska, Tea Party maven Sarah Palin, former president George W. Bush, former vice president Dick Cheney and Congressman Paul. They fear the potential impact of these figures upstaging the nominee.

According to the New York Times, convention planners offered the Texas congressman the chance to speak under two conditions: that he gave a speech pre-approved by Romney's campaign, and that he give a "full-fledged" endorsement of Mitt Romney.

“It wouldn’t be my speech," Paul said. "That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president."

While the libertarian candidate effectively ended his presidential bid when he announced that he would stop formally campaigning in May, many of his supporters have held on to the hope that Paul could amass enough support to challenge Romney's nomination. As the Associated Press points out, several hundred delegates are still pledged to support Paul.

Romney's camp has made attempts at mending fences with Paul and his devotees. CBS News reported that a video paying tribute to Paul will be played during the convention.

"While they certainly disagree on many issues, they always have had ... a mutual respect," Romney campaign strategist Russ Schriefer told CBS.

However, Paul's reluctance to give his rival a ringing endorsement should come as little surprise. In May, Paul campaign chairman Jesse Benton told reporters that formal backing was unlikely.

During the presidential campaign, Rick Santorum hammered Paul for "going easy" on Romney while beating up on him and Gingrich. Santorum push forth the claim that Romney called a truce with Paul and they were working together for political favors at the Republican National Convention.

The last time Paul ran for president, he lost to Senator John McCain (R-Arizona). He went on to endorse the  controversial perennial candidate Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.

Baldwin is a radical Christian fundamentalist who is affiliated with the White nationalist movement.

R.I.P. Aaliyah: More Than A Woman!

File:Aaliyah Dana Haughton 02.jpg
I Miss You, Aaliyah!
With all the talk of the death of Neil Armstrong, I haven't forgotten about another legendary talent we've lost.

Before I and most of the world was glued to the television on September 11, 2001, I remember the day that I've heard that R & B singer Aaliyah was killed in tragic plane accident in the Bahamas.

I remember buying Aaliyah's third album on the whim of her first single "We Need A Resolution". My sister begged me to buy that album because she was at work and didn't have the cash to get it at the time.

I was 20 at the time of the tragedy. I was going to community college and I was going to work and struggling to live on my own. One night I came back from the club and I decided to sleep over at my parent's house.

AaliyahI come in at 3am and told my parents that I'll be sleeping in my old room tonight. As I entered the home, I went to turn on the television and watched MTV's The Lyricist Lounge Show, a show that once featured comedian Tracy Ellis Ross. Across the screen ticker was an announcement that Aaliyah was killed in a plane incident according to the Associated Press. I remember that Kurt Loder and Sway Calloway were talking about it on the MTV News updates.

I told my sister about it the next day. She was attending a nearby university at the time. We were both saddened by the lost of this great talent.

It's been over 10 years since the tragedy and new album is in the works. Timbaland, Missy Elliot and rapper Drake are collaborating on an album based off some of her unreleased tracks.

Aaliyah's death came after finishing up the single "Rock The Boat". This video was directed by hip-hop video director Hype Williams. The plane that carried Aaliyah, the pilot her manager, some of her personal staff and two of her family members crashed upon takeoff. The pilot was inexperienced and was on cocaine at the time of flight.

Gladys Knight is the godmother of the late singer and Damon Dash former CEO of Roc-A-Fella Records was to marry the singer after the filming of her last movie Queen of The Damned. They were devastated by this tragedy.

From Wikipedia, She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 10, she appeared on the television show Star Search and performed in concert alongside Gladys Knight. At age 12, Aaliyah signed with Jive Records and her uncle Barry Hankerson's Blackground Records.

Drake announced that he will produce Aaliyah album.
Hankerson introduced her to R. Kelly, who became her mentor, as well as lead songwriter and producer of her debut album, Age Ain't Nothing but a Number. The album sold three million copies in the United States and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). After facing allegations of an illegal marriage with R. Kelly, Aaliyah ended her contract with Jive and signed with Atlantic Records.
Aaliyah worked with record producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott for her second album, One in a Million; it sold 3.7 million copies in the United States and over eight million copies worldwide. In 2000, Aaliyah appeared in her first major film, Romeo Must Die. She contributed to the film's soundtrack, which spawned the single "Try Again". The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 solely on airplay, making Aaliyah the first artist in Billboard history to achieve this feat. "Try Again" earned Aaliyah a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocalist.

After completing Romeo Must Die, Aaliyah filmed her part in Queen of the Damned. She released her third and final album, Aaliyah, in July 2001. On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah and eight others were killed in an airplane crash in The Bahamas after filming the music video for the single "Rock the Boat". The pilot, Luis Morales III, was unlicensed at the time of the accident and had traces of cocaine and alcohol in his system.

Aaliyah's family later filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Blackhawk International Airways, which was settled out of court. Since then, Aaliyah's music has continued to achieve commercial success with several posthumous releases. Aaliyah is estimated to have sold 24 to 32 million albums worldwide. She has been credited for helping redefine contemporary R&B and hip hop, earning her the nicknames "Princess of R&B" and "Queen of Urban Pop". She is listed by Billboard as the tenth most successful female R&B artist of the past 25 years, and 27th most successful R&B artist overall.

Fox News Outs Navy Seal [Spy]!

Fox News vindictive agenda lead to a ex-Navy seal name being leaked. The Navy Seal was a participant in the successful Osama bin Laden raid in Pakistan.
The raid in Abbottabod, Pakistan that lead to the killing of the chief mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks was killed. President Barack Obama announced on May 1, 2011 that he order the Special Operations Units with assistance from the CIA to go into Pakistan to track Osama bin Laden. This was a huge political gamble. If President Obama would have failed in the mission, the Republicans would forever tarnish him as a failed president. Of course, he's called a "failed president" by his chief rivals. This event came around the time Mitt Romney and his former rivals were preparing to attack the president on matters such as foreign affairs and national security.

Now that this argument is off the table, the political novice team of Romney/Ryan are trying to focus only on the economy. They have no foreign policy experience. But that hasn't stopped them from complaining about the so-called leaks that are coming from the White House.

Republican legislators are trying to investigate classified documents in regards to the computer virus that crippled the Iranian nuclear program.

They're angry that the media found out that the president has been more aggressive in capturing or killing al-Qaeda operatives such as Abu Yahya al-Libi, Abu Ayyub al-Masri, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, Sheik Saeed al-Masri, and Hamza al-Jawfi  and American born Anwar al-Awlaki. They claim the president has a "kill list" it's zeroing in on American born al-Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn-Yahiye and leader Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri.

President Barack Obama gets no praise from any Republican on foreign relations. They can't give him credit for the successful raid that ended the life of the world's most dangerous terrorist. They figured that former president George W. Bush deserved most of the credit.

While this is now a political football, a former Navy seal decides to write a book outlining his experience in one of the world's most clandestine military operation. TheNavy seal "Mark Owens" wrote a specific account of the events that led to the killing of bin Laden.

Even though he decided to write the book, the conservative media is outraged over the fact that the president played his cards. The Republicans figured that people aren't impressed with his handling of the economy, so he'll figure out distraction to keep them busy. They think foreign affairs shouldn't be on the table.

Fox News has a vendetta against the president, Vice President Joe Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, MSNBC and those who support them. The network figured since this guy is writing a book about the successful raid, they wanted to sabotage him by leaking his name to the public. The Associated Press was first to get the name of the operative who wrote the book. Under the Freedom of Information Act, a news organization could obtain the real name of the person that could affect the security of the country.

Fox News reported that the former Navy SEAL who wrote the book "No Easy Day" under the pseudonym Mark Owen is 36-year-old Matt Bissonnette.

Supporters of al-Qaeda condemn the author and called for his death.

Bissonnette could face charges if he revealed any classified information that could jeopardize the capture of Adam Gadahn-Yahiye and Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri.

President Barack Obama's administration is very serious about leaking to the press. Bradley Manning, the first class U.S. Army private is facing life in prison for leaking. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is facing a rape charge in Sweden and possible indictment by Attorney General Eric Holder for releasing information that is could put the lives of the U.S. Military at risk.

Bissonnette is from Alaska and he was one of the men who was had a camera showing the successful raid.
