Mass shooting in Mississippi Walmart. Another terrible shooting affects lives and Americans don't care. |
Thoughts and prayers, thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers won't heal the wounded or bring back the dead. It's just meaningless platitudes and I am getting sick and tired of folks posting on social media saying they have their condolences for those killed by gun violence.
THERE IS NO GOD.
GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
A disgruntled worker at a suburban Memphis Walmart open fire when his former manager and another co-worker before the law took him out. The terrorist is currently being treated for his injuries.
He will be charged with capital murder, inducing panic, and aggravated homicide. The charges itself could carry the DEATH card in the state of Mississippi. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
As expected, Donald J. Trump, Mike Pence, Gov. Phil Bryant, the four U.S. Representatives, Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) will run the usual "thoughts and prayers" platitudes. The candidates running for the Democratic nomination will address this and many other tragedies involving gun violence.
People trying to make a living working to feed their families at a company that doesn't even offer a living wage, killed by senseless gun violence from a crazy Black terrorist.
Are the "Nice Guys" the most dangerous person with a firearm? (Expect trolls to pick the dumbest answers)
Think if it was a Muslim, Pam Geller, Brigette Gabriel, Richard Spencer, Steve Emerson and Laura Loomer to make noise.
If the suspect was an immigrant, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Tucker Carlson, Mike Huckabee and Todd Starnes would make noise.
If this was a far-left extremist, Trump and the far-white agitators like Sean "Softball" Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Wayne LaPierre and Rush Limbaugh would be demanding investigations into lawmakers, call for more bans on individuals based on race and religion and demand more "good guys with guns" at events.
The law quickly arrived to the Walmart within five minutes. There could have been countless lives lost within a few minutes.
The old troupe of a "good guy with a gun" is bogus. It's basically a "guy with a gun" and that guy is more dangerous than the actual bad guy. If the "good guy" shoots the wrong person, it's murder too.
Anthony Brown, 40, and Brandon Gales, 38, were identified as the victims, the DeSoto County Coroner's Office told CNN affiliate WMC.
Champion said the case will be presented to a grand jury which will officially charge Abram. The charges may be upgraded, the district attorney said.
The gunfire broke out Tuesday morning when about 60 employees were in the Walmart, authorities said. The suspect was "well inside the store for a few minutes," Champion said.
Officers arrived within three minutes of the initial 911 and searched for the suspect, Champion said.
Customer Carlos Odom was walking out of the store when "I heard a bunch of gunshots. Pop, pop, pop, pop -- more than a dozen shots," he said.
"I just thought 'run!' and ran to my car. This is crazy. The world is crazy nowadays."
No duh!
Many Walmart locations allow individuals freely walk their businesses with firearms. Yet, the firearms that managed to make it into the business involve a NICE GUY.
Two men will not clock out for the night. They were killed by their former co-worker in a workplace shooting. |
The officer "was saved by his [bullet-resistant] vest," Southaven Police Chief Macon Moore said.
The condition of the suspect at the Regional One trauma center has not been released.
Champion said the officer was "doing much better," and will likely remain hospitalized for a while.
The terrorist was suspended "a few days ago" after he showed a knife to another employee, Randy Hargrove, a company spokesman, said in an interview. The company was investigating that incident and had not made a final determination of terrorist's employment status.
Southaven Mayor Darren Musselwhite had described the suspect as a disgruntled
In a statement, Walmart President and CEO Greg Foran said the "Walmart family is heartbroken by the loss of two valued members of our team."
Mass shootings are the norm in the United States. This is the latest incident of firearms inside a Walmart. |
Hey, get back to work, you're not allowed to go to the victim's funerals. You'll end up being punished or terminated for doing such. Walmart would probably close the location to allow workers to attend the funeral. I want to say likely but I know that "thoughts and prayers" won't stop a Walmart worker from gunfire.
The city is mourning the deaths, but some say recent police training helped prevent the loss of more lives.
Two weeks ago, Southaven police and firefighters underwent active shooter training at a nearby school, said Moore, the police chief.
Moore said there's "no doubt that that training saved lives today."
The killings are the latest in a string of many other mass shootings where no one is safe. It happens in schools, places of worship, movie theaters, workplaces, government facilities, festivals, clubs and the home.
THE NICE GUY IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PERSON WITH A FIREARM. THOSE WHO ARE SPURN BY RELATIONSHIPS, THE WORKPLACE, SOCIETY IN GENERAL WILL SEEK REVENGE BY TAKING OUT LIVES. THEY WANT TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS OF MASSACRING THEIR FELLOW HUMAN BEING. THE JUNK FOOD MEDIA AND POLITICIANS ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE BY AMPING UP POLARIZING RHETORIC . INSTEAD OF WORKING TOGETHER ON SOLVING THIS MAN-MADE CRISIS, WE RETURN TO SAME SHIT. AFTER A FEW DAYS OF COVERAGE, WE MOVE ON TO ANOTHER CONTROVERSY. THEN LATER ANOTHER MASS SHOOTING AND IT WOULD BE WORSE THAN THE LAST ONE.
