I bet Raymond "Benzino" Scott was angry that Eminem was seen by 150 million at the Super Bowl. |
Eminem had said that the more he gives attention to a rival, the bigger the rival gets. He said he does not want make any rival big. He said that saying their name in the music makes people listen to them. Em does not want to make his rivals earn a buck by a name-check.
"The Sauce" and "The Nail in the Coffin" off DJ Green Lantern's Invasion mixtape showed critics that Eminem was always a battle rapper. I mean he literally destroyed Scott's rap career, made The Source a pariah among hip-hop, helped XXL Magazine claim the top spot and even got The Source founder Dave Mays fired out the cannon at his own magazine.
Scott tried to expose Eminem. He and Mays released a freestyle called "Foolish Pride" which Em had dissed a Black woman he previously dated. He said that "Black girls are bitches and white girls are good chicks." Em apologized for the single and said that the music of his past doesn't reflect him as a person.
Coi Leray is feuding with Scott. Her father is trying ruin her career. |
Eminem also released "Like Toy Soldiers" to address the freestyle, Scott and Ja Rule, another rapper who was feuding with Em because of 50 Cent signing to Shady Records. He once again apologized for the freestyle and urged the rappers to leave the beef behind or face a potential violent outcome.
Scott said that no one in the hood plays Eminem's music. He said Em's music is trailer trash and his fans voted for Washed Up 45. He said thinks Em rhymes "masturbater in the elevator" whenever he's on the mic.
