Curmudgeon Independent Joe Manchin Endorses Curmudgeon Republicans!

Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema and John Fetterman in Zio Buggy.

Joe Manchin, the former West Virginia senator who was elected as a Democrat but became an independent around 2024 endorses Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Mike Rogers.

That old fart appeared on CNBC to officially endorsed Collins for her reelection campaign, praising her as the "soul of the Senate". He strongly contrasted her against her progressive Democratic challenger, Troy Jackson.

Manchin expressed strong support for former Representative Mike Rogers, who is running for an open Senate seat. Manchin called Rogers a "good person" who would "do a great job," noting his opposition to Rogers' progressive Democratic opponent, Abdul El-Sayed. However, Manchin added a caveat that Rogers needs to denounce President Donald J. Trump's trade policies to secure a win.

Manchin’s public comments that he is "not okay" with El-Sayed becoming a senator mirror recent high-profile GOP attacks. El-Sayed recently went on CNN to strongly reject similar attempts by Vice President JD Vance to paint his background and progressive policies as "evil" or "extreme," arguing that these attacks are just cynical fear-mongering designed to divide working-class voters.

An old fart endorsing two old farts.

Progressive activists and critical race theorists argue that both conservative policies and moderate incrementalism sustain systemic inequality. From this perspective, failing to actively dismantle oppressive systems—whether through conservative opposition or moderate compromise—functions to protect existing racial hierarchies.

During a voting rights rally, King's family and progressive critics explicitly compared Sinema and Manchin to the exact "white moderate" Dr. King warned about in his Letter from Birmingham Jail—someone who claims to support the goals of equality but prioritizes a lack of political tension over meaningful justice.

The rotating villain is a politican who is elected by the political party but votes against the party that person ran on. Often claiming the "purple/swing district" bullshit.

In reality, moderates are problematic because they are pussies who will not abandon the status quo.

Just to inform you about why Boomers suck, Manchin, Rogers and Collins are in the 70s.

Sen. John Fetterman (I-PA), Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have been constant roadblocks to the Democratic agenda. It is time to kick these white extremists out the party.

Progressives, this "Vote Blue No Matter Who" bullshit is over.
