You know Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) are fighting in a closely watched U.S. Senate race. The Texas lawmakers both support guns. However, one is openly embracing the gun lobby by taking a jab at his opponent for having a "F" rating from the National Rifle Association.

Cruz like so many Republicans believe that the guns are the solution to all our problems. They forget that gun violence is the number one threat in the United States. This is an epidemic.
About 96 people are killed each day by a firearm. Congress won't do anything to stop this.
An altercation between two families at a toddler's birthday party led to a shooting that left four men dead and one injured, authorities said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at a 1-year old's birthday party in Taft, a suburban community in Corpus Christi. Sgt. Nathan Brandley, the spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety said this incident happened on Saturday in the afternoon.
The law is looking for two terrorists involved in this mass shooting. This happens to be considered local news because you won't hear the junk food media blast this coverage throughout the day.
Four men were killed.
"Four adult males were found dead on scene," Brandley said. "The fifth male was HALO-Flighted to Christus Sophn Hospital Shoreline."
The victims could be fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, grandfathers or caught in the crossfire. Who knows?
