Harper Lee Passed Away!

Harper Lee passed away.

The iconic writer of the book How to Kill a Mockingbird passed away today. The Associated Press reports that Harper Lee passed away at the age of 89.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Harper Lee.

Nelle Harper Lee was born and raised in the small town of Monroeville, Alabama, on April 28, 1926. She was the youngest of four children born to newspaper editor and lawyer Amasa Coleman Lee and homemaker Frances Cunningham Finch.

Lee grew up a tomboy. She was close childhood friends with Truman Capote, an eccentric child who would later become the famed writer of the acclaimed 1966 non-fiction work In Cold Blood and a lifelong friend to Lee.

Lee graduated high school in the spring of 1944. The following fall, she enrolled in the all-female Huntingdon College before transferring to the University of Alabama. Lee, set on pursuing a career in writing, dropped out of college in her senior year to move to New York City.

The city had a profound effect on the trajectory of Lee's writing career, connecting her with Broadway composer Michael Martin Brown who would become an important financial backer and one of her most avid supporters.

In 1956, she reunited with Capote and began work as his research assistant for a New Yorker article that later evolved into the book In Cold Blood.

That same year, Brown generously offered to financially support Lee for a year so she could focus on writing full time.

To Kill a Mockingbird found immediate success in literary circles. Peppered with autobiographical elements, Lee's debut novel was set in the mid-1930s in small-town Alabama and follows the story of precocious child Scout Finch and her father, Atticus. Atticus, a lawyer reminiscent of Lee's own father, is appointed by a judge to defend Tom Robinson, a black man accused of raping a young white woman.

To Kill a Mockingbird documents Robinson's trial and tackles the themes of racial injustice and traditional class and gender roles. The book was enthusiastically received, with the New Yorker touting it as "totally ingenious," and became an international bestseller.
Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch. Brock Peters as Tom Robinson.
The film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird was released in 1962 and starred Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch. The film won three Academy Awards and earned a spot in the American Film Institute's list of the greatest American movies of all time.

In 1966, President Lyndon B. Johnson appointed Lee to the National Council on the Arts. Though Lee invested time in researching and preparing new work after To Kill a Mockingbird, including a true-crime novel called The Reverend, she didn't publish another book until more than 50 years later.

In 2007, President George W. Bush awarded Lee the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the first of several high honors. She received the National Medal of Arts, presented to her by President Barack Obama, in 2010.

Lee left New York City in 2007 and moved into an assisted-living facility in her hometown of Monroeville after suffering a stroke.

Last July, Go Set a Watchman, a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird, was released. The highly anticipated novel was Lee's second and final published book. The manuscript, thought to have been lost, was discovered in one of Lee's safety deposit boxes by her lawyer Tonja Cater in 2011.

Lee's failing health, including severe hearing and vision loss, led many to speculate that the author wasn't competent enough to sign off on the publication of Go Set a Watchman.

The Alabama Department of Human Resources launched an investigation in 2015 to examine whether elder abuse influenced the release of the sequel but ultimately determined the claims to be "unfounded."
Harper Lee kept a quiet life. Never gave many interviews and lived in Alabama as a reclusive.
Go Set a Watchman revisits a now 26-year-old Scout, who encounters intolerance in her small Alabama hometown while visiting from New York. Readers -- and Scout herself -- are surprised to find that her father, regarded by many literary critics as a fictional crusader for racial justice, has a less-than-progressive stance on race issues. Atticus argues with Scout about civil rights, telling his daughter that "the Negroes down here are still in their childhood as a people" and that black people aren't ready to vote.

The book received mostly negative reviews, as readers were shocked to find their once beloved civil rights-defending protagonist exposed as a "racist." Many critics agreed the novel could have used several more rounds of edits, calling it "unfit for print" and a "mess." Some said the "rough draft" was published only for the sake of constructing a "phony literary event."

Lee is pre-deceased by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

The author lived a private life. She never married or had children, and she rarely gave interviews.

"I want to do the best I can with the talent God gave me," Lee said in 1964. "I would like to leave some record of the kind of life that existed in a very small world."

Zimmerman's Wife Lets Him Walk!

Wife of acquitted shooter won't press charges against him after domestic dispute.

Shellie Zimmerman may have to "Stand Her Ground" if her husband George becomes a threat to her safety.

Breaking today, the junk food media is covering the controversy with the acquitted shooter George Zimmerman. He and his wife were in the news today after there were reports of him threatening his wife and father in law with a firearm.

The Associated Press reports that even though threats were made upon her life, Shellie Zimmerman won't press charges against this man.

The sobbing wife of George Zimmerman called 911 Monday to report that her estranged husband was threatening her with a gun and had punched her father in the nose, but hours later she decided not to press charges against the man acquitted of all charges for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.

Lake Mary police officers were still investigating the encounter as a domestic dispute, but no charges had been filed Monday afternoon. George Zimmerman, wearing a flannel shirt, baseball cap and with sunglasses on, left the home after being questioned by police.

Shellie Zimmerman, who has filed for divorce, initially told a 911 dispatcher that her husband had his hand on his gun as he sat in his car outside the home she was at with her father. She said she was scared because she wasn't sure what Zimmerman was capable of doing. But hours later she changed her story and said she never saw a firearm, said Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell.

For the time being, "domestic violence can't be invoked because she has changed her story and says she didn't see a firearm," Bracknell said.

On the 911 call, Shellie Zimmerman is sobbing and repeating "Oh my God" as she talks to a police dispatcher. She yells at her father to get inside the house, saying Zimmerman may start shooting at them.

"He's threatening all of us with a firearm ... He punched my dad in the nose," Shellie Zimmerman said on the call. "I don't know what he's capable of. I'm really scared."

She also said he grabbed an iPad from her hand and smashed it. Her father also declined to press charges, the police chief said.

Police officers could still build a case based on surveillance video from cameras outside the house and also video from the squad cars of officers who responded. Florida law allows police officers to arrest someone for domestic violence without the consent of the victim.

Police spokesman Zach Hudson said the estranged husband and wife were blaming each other for being the aggressor and that police officers were sorting through their accounts.

Shellie Zimmerman in her divorce filing last week said she and her husband had separated a month after he was acquitted of any crime for fatally shooting the 17-year-old Martin in Sanford, not far from where Monday's investigation happened.

Shellie Zimmerman asked the dispatcher to send an ambulance to check her father out. A fire department ambulance arrived at the house but nobody needed to be transported, Hudson said.

"The call went out as a 911 call that Mr. Zimmerman was threatening them with a firearm," Hudson said.

"We're trying to see if that's true or not."

In her divorce petition, Shellie Zimmerman asked that her husband pay for a permanent life insurance policy with her named as the beneficiary, according to a divorce petition made public last week.
Asshole can't keep out of trouble.

In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" that aired last Friday, Zimmerman said her husband left her with "a bunch of pieces of broken glass" after the acquittal. She said he only stayed in their house three or four nights since the trial ended and that they even tried counseling. But she moved out Aug. 13.

"I have a selfish husband and I think George is all about George," she said.

George Zimmerman and his lawyers have made no public statements on the divorce proceedings. An email to Zimmerman's lawyers weren't immediately answered. But lead defense attorney Mark O'Mara was at the home.

Neighbors and other onlookers gathering to watch.

George Zimmerman's brother Robert Zimmerman Jr., tweeted that "we've learned from GZ case not to `jump to conclusions,' to wait for facts, & to avoid speculation. `News' is a business – not your friend."

Last month, Shellie Zimmerman, 26, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge for lying about the couple's finances during a bail hearing following her husband's arrest after Martin's shooting.

George Zimmerman, 29, said he acted in self-defense when he killed Martin and the polarizing case opened up national discussions on self-defense laws and race. Martin was black. Zimmerman has a white father and Hispanic mother.

Shellie Zimmerman was sentenced to a year's probation and 100 hours of community service. Her husband did not attend the sentencing hearing in the Sanford courtroom.

Zimmerman has been involved with a domestic case at least once before. In 2005, Zimmerman's former fiancee filed for a restraining order against Zimmerman, alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman responded by requesting a restraining order against his then-fiancee.

Since his acquittal, Zimmerman has gotten a speeding ticket in Florida and was pulled over on suspicion of speeding on a highway near Dallas but not ticketed.

Forney police stopped Zimmerman as he drove west on U.S. 80, about 20 miles east of Dallas. A police dashcam video released July 31 shows an officer interacting with Zimmerman and letting him go with a warning.

The officer can be heard saying, "Just take it easy. Go ahead and shut your glove compartment. Don't play with your firearm."

Although the officer's comments indicated Zimmerman had a gun, a weapon can't be seen and it's not clear that he had one. However, Zimmerman had a concealed weapons permit in Florida that would be also recognized under Texas law. The gun used in Martin's shooting remains in the custody of the federal government, which is looking into a possible civil rights case.

One would think that the man who got away with murder would stay out of the spotlight. Nah, not this guy!

He doing all his bad publicity in either a flannel shirt or a hoodie.

Zimmerman is considered one of the most hated individuals in America. He ranks right up there with people like O.J. Simpson, the Kardashians, and Florida native Casey Anthony.

Anthony the young mother who was acquitted of murdering her daughter Kaylee. She hardly puts herself in the spotlight. She's often caught in either Florida or Ohio with bodyguards in tow.

What Happen To Lil' Kim? [NSFW]

Brooklyn's don diva is......whoa!

The 4'11" rapper/model/reality star known as the "Queen Bee" of hip-hop hasn't done much lately.

Besides the feuds with longtime foes Foxy Brown and Nicki Minaj, it's been relatively low profile for Kim.

Kimberly Denise Jones born July 11, 1974 grew up on the streets of Brooklyn., New York. Getting involved in the rap scene she met her mentor Christopher Wallace who developed the street name Biggie Smalls (but best the nationally as the Notorious B.I.G.). She got involved in the rap scene around the early 1990s and worked on singles with Biggie and his friends Lil' Cease, Capone and Bugsy. As the lieutenant of Notorious B.I.G.'s clique Junior M.A.F.I.A. broke into the rap scene with her witty and oftentimes sexually explicit lines.

The album Conspiracy went on to become gold and gave the Brooklyn rapper a chance to break out on her own. The debut album Hardcore was produced by little known Sean "Puffy" Combs who went on to establish his own label Bad Boy. Lil' Kim went double platinum on her album and launched her as a mainstream act.

She was featured on the single, "Lady Marmalade", which also had guest vocals by fellow recording artists Mýa, Pink and Christina Aguilera (a remake of the 1975 smash hit, originally recorded by LaBelle) which went to #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female rapper to have a #1 on that chart.

Between her highs and lows, Lil' Kim knew how to impress and sometimes shock the paparazzi.

The most memorable moment of Lil' Kim was the VMA awards in which she had a pallet covering one of her breast and Diana Ross (her idol) groped her in front of millions.

During her rise, she, Combs, and Biggie were engaged in a feud with the West Coast rappers. The Notorious B.I.G. was singled out by rapper Tupac Shakur in the attempted robbery and shooting of him outside a studio in 1994. The rappers were cordial in the beginning but things turned sour after allegations of Tupac Shakur made the claim that he slept with Biggie's then wife Faith Evans.

Biggie was accused by some in the hip-hop media of having numerous affairs on Faith Evans. One being Lil' Kim and Charli Baltimore, a Queens based rapper who was affiliated with Junior M.A.F.I.A..

She also was known to wear shocking outfits.

Her lowest point of her career was the prison time she served for "not snitchin" on her crew during a dispute with longtime rival Foxy Brown. She was charged with perjury in a federal court in regards to a shooting outside a recording studio. She spent a year in a federal prison and was then released.

The most embarrassing moment in her career was the local news crew coming to her home. They filmed a debt collector and towing service tow away her expensive Bentley vehicle after she had broken an engagement to Scott Storch.

Lil' Kim has appeared on reality television shows such as The Apprentice and Dance With The Stars.

Lil' Kim made an appearance on the Bravo reality series Pregnant in Heels.

Lil' Kim appeared in movies and television series. She is friends with celebrities such as Missy Elliott, Da Brat, Mary J. Blige, former wrestler Trish Stratus, Pamela Anderson and Debbie Harry.

The Daily Mail reports that the 38-year-old showing off her remarkably smooth skin and opted to keep warm in a huge fur coat over her tight leather dress as he headed into MTV studios to film Rap Fix Live.

Fans of the Put Your Lighters Up rapper didn't seem to notice her startling appearance and took to Twitter to commend the tiny brunette. with one user writing: 'QUEEN WE LOVE YOU Nicki Minaj is trash.'

The Lady Marmalade star topped off her fierce look with lashings of red lipstick, some thick false lashes and a chunky gold necklace.

Her hair was left loose around her shoulders and she seemed relaxed when she appeared on the show, unlike when she was questioned over her potential surgery last year on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

The pint-sized star got offended when quizzed about the subject, saying: 'Why would you ask me that?'

Now you can see a few of the pictures that were obtained through The Daily Mail. And even though, I still think Lil' Kim is the girlfriend of my dreams, it's today that I will kindly tell her, that she really screwed up on this one.

Reason why I say there NSFW is because it's........................Terrible.

The art of self-promotion: Lil Kim purses her lips as she arrives in New York - the rapper has been under fire for her extreme plastic surgery
Controversial: Lil Kim covers up with a huge fur coat - the 4ft 11in star also opted for some sky-high wedges
Head down: Lil Kim smiles as she wanders around NYC - she completed her look with a chunk gold necklace
Rapper Lil Kim Lady in fur: Lil' Kim looks pleased to be back on the scene

Now I am going to be honest. It's not pretty, but far better than Joan Rivers and her daughter.

Lil' Kim you're beautiful and that's a fact. But damn girl, that plastic surgery is going to have you looking like a train wreck. Keep it real, Kim.

We all age naturally. Please don't do something that may end your career!

Family Affair!

Jury found Ohio mother guilty in the death of her son. Michelle Mooty and Joe Watson are going to the iron college for the death of Levi Barrett. The child's father is a friend.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Levi Barrett.

A personal take on a local woman being sentenced in the death of her son. The purpose of this story allows me to clear the air and address why Black Americans will be a subject of the conservative and white supremacist ire. This type of stuff ignites the word salad of racial slurs, mentions of these individuals being one of "Obama's children" and the "gubmint" parasites uttered by the likes of conservative agitators in the media.

The callous actions of this woman and her boyfriend has brought my friend to his senses!

Years of reckless behavior from my friend have finally taken its toll. Now realizing that he'll never have an opportunity to see one of his children grow up in the future has finally brought him to his senses!

It's time for him to be a father.

This week, the Ohio court found bad parent Michelle Mooty, guilty in complicity of allowing child abuse to occur. She will be sentenced to prison shortly.
Wiping tears. Mooty reacts to jury decision.
This kind of hits close to home. Charles Barrett, Jr. is the father of the deceased child, Levi.

The child was killed by Mooty's boyfriend (at the time) Joe Watson, IV.

The incident happened in December 2011. After a year of deliberations and a jury trial, the court found these irresponsible parents guilty in murder. Watson who has a child with Mooty was sentenced to 15 to life in prison.

Mooty has other children with other men besides Barrett and Watson.

The reason why this comes to head is that I know the father of the deceased child.

For over 10 years, I've known the father of the child.

Charles Barrett fought personal demons in his life. None so than losing his child.

Barrett has two other children. Barrett has one from another woman and the other from Mooty.
Charles Barrett with his three children. The youngest child Levi (top right) was killed by Joe Watson, the boyfriend of the child's mother Michelle Mooty.

I've distanced myself from my best friend (and two others I've previously associated with)!

I can testify that lives were changed that night when I've found out that his son was dead!

My friend isn't perfect.
Joe Watson was convicted of murder and sentenced to the iron college for life! The girlfriend Michelle Mooty will be there soon. They were responsible for the death of Levi Barrett.
Through the good times and often bad times, I've tried to be there as much as I could! He didn't need my help, so we moved on!

My friend has a perennial habit of moving from home to home, job to job, from a girl to another girl, and from jail to court!

Barrett's personal demons began when he became a first time father! He met a woman near one of his jobs and fell in love. A few years later, he became a father to his first child. He would eventually bailed out on his responsibilities as a parent.

He would later have two other sons by Michelle Mooty and eventually bail out on them. Although he loved his children, he wanted to venue into dead ends like drug dealing, selling stolen property and making enemies with friends and family. This all came to head when he realized that day he would never see his youngest son alive ever again!

As his first child grows up to become a teenager and his second child begins to understand life itself, my friend has to "get his ass" together to better himself for the sake of his children.

Now I've haven't spoken to him in nearly a year. I can only assume he'll have more children and keep a memory of his son either through his part-time career as a rapper or tattoos on his body. Something symbolic.

My other two friends are struggling as well. They also have perennial problems with family and friends as well.

Barrett's first child comes from one my friends. She struggles as a mother of two with thoughts of her mother. Her mother was killed in a domestic violence dispute when she was very young and it permanently scarred her for life.

The last friend explained is former ex-girlfriend. This one comes from a troubled home. Being a rape survivor and a shooting victim, about seven years ago hasn't changed her from the reckless behavior.

She nearly died in 2005, after her former boyfriend shot her in the chest.

Each of these individuals are troubled. They've relied on me for years for personal advice and constant help in crisis after crisis. Each of them had opportunities as I to move on with success. Yet, we're still here with the burden of our personal demons.

I've concluded that it's time to move away from them! I have figured that problems may come and go from time to time, I figured that I exhausted my options and will no longer be a reliable friend.

I wish them all well! For as long as I live on this earth, their issues aren't my problems anymore! I've got my own problems to deal with!

Jenni Rivera: Famed Latina Singer Died In Plane Crash!

Famed singer Jenni Rivera died in a tragic plane crash.
We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of famed singer Jenni Rivera. A tragic plane crash in Mexico carried her and other passengers on it. There were no survivors of this crash.

Jenny Dolores Rivera Saavedra was a Mexican-American singer known for her work within the banda and norteña music genres. She began recording in 1992, and her recordings often have themes of social issues, infidelity, and relationships.

Her tenth studio album, Jenni in 2008, became her first number-one album in the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart in the United States. In 2010 she appeared in and produced the reality TV show Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C, featuring her oldest daughter. She also appeared in and produced I Love Jenni starting in 2011 and Chiquis 'n Control in 2012.

Jenni Rivera TV personality Jenni Rivera arrives at The Cable Show 2010 "An Evening With NBC Universal" on May 12, 2010 in Universal City, California.Rivera was born in Long Beach, California. Her parents are Mexican immigrants who raised Rivera and her four brothers and sister (including Lupillo Rivera) in a tight-knit musical household.

Rivera died in a plane crash near Iturbide, Nuevo León, Mexico on December 9, 2012.

Rivera had three children with her first husband, José Trinidad Marín: Janney "Chiquis" Marín Rivera (born 1985), Jacqueline Marín Rivera (born 1989), and Michael Marín Rivera (born 1991). After divorcing Marín, Rivera married Juan López in 1997 and had two children with him: Jenicka López Rivera (born 1997), and Johnny López Rivera (born 2001). They divorced in 2003, and López died in 2009. Rivera married baseball player Esteban Loaiza in 2010. They filed for divorce in 2012.

On August 6, 2010, Rivera was named spokeswoman for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. A proclamation was given "officially naming" August 6 “Jenni Rivera Day” by the LA City Council for all her charity work and involvement in the community.

The Los Angeles Times report the Mexico's Ministry of Transportation and Communications said the Learjet carrying seven people, including Rivera, was found in mountainous terrain in Nuevo Leon, just south of Monterrey. There were no survivors, authorities said.

The plane left Monterrey around 3:30 a.m., following a concert that she had given, according to the Associated Press. The U.S.-registered Learjet 25 was headed to Toluca, near Mexico City.

The 43-year-old Long Beach native, known to fans as "la diva de la banda," was best known for her interpretations of regional Mexican music, norteno and banda. She was one of NBCUniversal's biggest bilingual television stars, with a hugely popular reality show, "I Love Jenni," on cable channel Mun2.

She also had a syndicated weekly radio program and clothing and cosmetics lines -- all designed to appeal to U.S. Latinas. The ABC television network was developing a sitcom starring Rivera, tentatively titled "Jenni," about a strong-willed Latina single mother.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, Rivera has sold 1.2 million albums and 349,000 digital tracks in the United States.

Rivera belonged to one of the most important dynasties in contemporary U.S.-based Mexican music. Her father, Pedro Rivera, launched the independent label Cintas Acuario in 1987; it grew out of a booth at an area swap meet. Her four brothers were also involved in music, and her younger brother Lupillo also is a wildly popular Mexican regional singer.

According to her Telemundo biography, Rivera didn't plan on joining the family's musical dynasty. But after an early marriage ended in divorce, she obtained a college degree in business administration and worked in real estate before going to work for her father's record label.

Her debut, "Chacalosa" (slang for "party girl"), was her introduction to the music scene. She eventually signed with Fonovisa, one of the most prominent labels in regional Mexican music, and began releasing bestselling Latin music CDs.

More than 16,000 people attended a concert that she headlined last year at Staples Center in Los Angeles. She was scheduled to appear next March at L.A.'s Gibson Amphitheatre.

So many fans flocked to a record-signing event in Riverside last year that police reportedly were called to help disperse the massive crowd.

Her tumultuous life included an early marriage and pregnancy, domestic abuse and divorce. She wove some of those themes into her songs and was an advocate for social responsibility. She founded a charitable organization, the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation, offering support to single mothers and victims of domestic abuse in the United States.

Rivera had five children and a grandchild. Celebrity magazines said she was seeking a divorce from her second husband, former Major League Baseball player Esteban Loaiza.

Woman Post Crime On Social Media!

Hannah Sabata
Post this on Facebook. Young woman charged with bank robbery! She bragged about her crime on social networking websites.
Bored teenager does one of the dumbest things that a person would ever do! From the most stupidest to the most craziest! If you post something on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, you're giving caffeine to the world.

KETV Channel 7 has reported the most dumbest person to ever commit a crime.

One in particular is the one who gotten the late night comics attention.
With my racks! - Hannah Sabata
Nebraska authorities arrest teenager Hannah Sabata of Stromsburg, Nebraska.

She isn't the most smartest person to ever walk this earth right now! She admits that she stole a car and then robbed a bank. What's the most damning is the fact she goes to YouTube to post a video saying that she's done it.
You won't be smiling when they give you 25 years in federal prison!
York County Sheriff Dale Radcliff said a copy of the video will be turned in as evidence against the 19-year-old was later arrested on Wednesday in connection with a robbery the day before at the Cornerstone Bank branch in Waco. She faces robbery and theft charges.

The video was posted the same day Sabata was arrested. It shows a woman holding handwritten signs that say she robbed a bank and stole a car. The woman then holds a large bundle of cash, what she says is $6,256, in front of the camera.

She also holds up what appears to be a bag of marijuana.

The video caption says, "I just stole a car and robbed a bank. Now I'm rich, I can pay off my college financial aid, and tomorrow I'm going for a shopping spree."

The woman in the video explains herself as a victim of the government -- how authorities took her baby before she could take the baby home, charging the woman with neglect.

Former Bush Presser Says "Bitches" Deserve To Get Their Asses Hit!

Dana Perino's latest outburst gotten attention!
Of course that's not what Dana Perino said, but it's pretty much sums up how she describes the situation that lead to the murder-suicide of NFL player Jovan Belcher and the mother of his child, Kassandra Perkins.

They're still not getting this! I mean this has to be one of the most ignorant political party out there! I am seriously thinking that the next election inspires the Democrats to aggressively target individuals who continue to be obstruction to progress.

Dana Perino said some of the most dumbest things over the past few years, but tonight I think this one has gone too far. The former press secretary under George W. Bush has been given a cushy job over at Fox News. As the head moderator and host of The Five, she along with four other commentators are debating current event issues. The things she said tonight has many people shocked.

Dana Perino suggested female victims of violence should "make better decisions" in order to escape harm.

The comment came during a discussion about the murder of 22-year-old Kasandra Perkins, who was killed by her boyfriend, NFL player Jovan Belcher. On Saturday, Belcher shot his girlfriend repeatedly, and then drove to the Kansas City Chiefs' facility, where he killed himself.
2008-12-16-capt.a2ae89c1bd75474592ccde0431a63133.bush_whre101.jpg
When she was then president George W. Bush's Press Secretary she got hit with a microphone in December 2008. While in Iraq, a journalist threw a pair of shoes at the president.
The couple was reportedly having problems for months. According to the police, Kansas City Chiefs officials were aware of the ongoing strife and even provided the couple with counseling.

In the aftermath of the murder-suicide, NBC Sports' Bob Costas took the opportunity to advocate for better gun control. "If Jovan Belcher didn't possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today," he said, quoting another columnist during a halftime segment on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."

On Fox News' "The Five," the hosts argued the opposite, suggesting that if women in domestic violence situations were armed, they'd be able to protect themselves better.

Perino, the former White House press secretary, offered a slightly different approach.
Tragic case: Belcher shot Perkins dead at their home on Saturday before shooting himself
Jovan Belcher and Kassandra Perkins in happy times!

"I think it skirts the issue," she said. "Women are victims of violence all the time."

The Fox News Channel is practically scrambling after perennial loser Mitt Romney loss. And by getting Karl Rove and Dick Morris out the picture, it's a start.

Could this controversy by Perino be her death null with Fox News?

The Daily Mail also reports that Perino isn't the first commentator to draw the ire of viewers in discussing the touchy subject of gun rights and domestic violence in the aftermath of Belcher's murder-suicide.

Fox Sports commentator Bob Costas angered viewers when he suggested that stricter gun laws might have prevented the crime.

Costas praised a column by sports writer Jason Whitlock and told his viewers, "In the coming days, Jovan Belcher's actions and their possible connection to football will be analyzed. Who knows? But here, wrote Jason Whitlock, is what I believe."

"If Jovan Belcher didn't possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today."

Costas later defended his remarks, saying he didn't have enough time to explain himself and that he was misunderstood.

"What I was trying to say was, that if you want some perspective on this, there are a number of issues related to [Belcher's murder-suicide] that we could begin to talk about and think about,' Costas told sports radio host Dan Patrick. 'The problem was that I didn't have enough time to get to many of them. And that, I think, was my mistake to be quite honest."

Blame Game: KC Chief Belcher Murder-Suicide!

Jovan Belcher and Kassandra Perkins with daughter Zoey. The little girl will never know her parents. Belcher, a Kansas City Chief linebacker murder his the mother of his child and then killed himself in front of people. The issue brings up gun control and domestic violence. Conservatives are outraged over commentary by Bob Costas.
Sean Hannity is a notorious conservative agitator. He continues his downfall to irrelevance by making a case against Black people yet again!

Today, Mediaite reports that Hannity gets buzzworthy coverage. He allows two Black people on his carnival show and all hell breaks loose. Leo Terrell a civil rights activist and talk radio host gets into a shouting match with a Black conservative agitator.
Hannity once again makes a tragedy an Obama issue!

Erik Rush is the guy who gave Hannity the talking point of Jeremiah Wright has came back into the spotlight in the wake of the murder-suicide caused by Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher.

NBC Sports commentator Bob Costas has came into the spotlight after he made the case for gun control, in the wake of the shooting. Costas made the point that too many football stars are involved in gun crimes and it's our gun culture that contributes to incidents.

The National Rifle Association and Gun Owners Association are two of the most powerful gun lobbyist groups out there. They make millions of dollars scaring up White men into thinking that the government is coming for their firearms. They created a NIGGERIZATION of President Barack Obama. They claim the president's second term will result in legislation that may ban guns.

As a firearm owner myself, I tend to hate the notion that a person is coming for my gun. I and many people of color have the notion to believe that law enforcement are trigger happy and any sudden move could result in me being shot. I don't have use a firearm, unless I have to in the case of my safety. The reason why most Americans own firearms is for protecting property, their lives (including family) or hunting. Nowadays, guns are part of a lifestyle.

A man with a firearm is cooler than a man with two fists!

Tell me how many bills were signed into law by President Barack Obama that restricted firearms?

None.

The Democratic Party fears that the NRA is going to run a train on them if the president signs a law that may restrict assault weapons.

In the wake of gun crimes in Chicago, Tuscon, Arizona, Aurora, Colorado, no legislation was passed.

In the wake of school shootings, domestic abuse, murder-suicides, or possible plots being carried out by individuals. Congress has no plans on passing legislation to stop guns.
Bob Costas makes light of gun control and it ignites Twitter and the conservative media.
It's always singled out by those who figured that hip-hop music, wrestling, basketball, football and gangster movies are the reasons for gun crimes. These are the targets of conservative ire because of firearms.

Rappers (such as 50 Cent, Lil' Wayne and Tupac Shakur) base their lifestyle on guns are usually targets of ire by conservatives. But people like Ted Nugent, Clint Eastwood and Charlton Heston are praised. They openly embrace guns and they portray themselves the same way as a rapper.

Bob Costas has made note of a Fox Sports writer's piece on the rising issues of gun culture in the sports industry. Jason Witlock, a Black sports commentator wrote that [America's] rationalizations speak to how numb we are in this society to gun violence and murder. We’ve come to accept our insanity. We’d prefer to avoid seriously reflecting upon the absurdity of the prevailing notion that the second amendment somehow enhances our liberty rather than threatens it.

How many young people have to die senselessly? How many lives have to be ruined before we realize the right to bear arms doesn’t protect us from a government equipped with stealth bombers, predator drones, tanks and nuclear weapons?

Our current gun culture simply ensures that more and more domestic disputes will end in the ultimate tragedy, and that more convenience-store confrontations over loud music coming from a car will leave more teenage boys bloodied and dead.

Bob Costas follow up on Football in America, by stating if there wasn't access to a firearm, Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend Kassandra Perkins would be alive today.
Erik Rush, a conservative writer arguing with civil rights activist Leo Terrell.
Sean Hannity cranks up the phony outrage machine by first attacking Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel for calling for gun control. Chicago's murder rate has increased heavily this year and the mayor is frustrated with this.

Hannity debates with Leo Terrell. Hannity manages to get in a dig at OJ Simpson.  Hannity is aware that Terrell was a friend of Simpson and in order to piss him off, Hannity always rehash the 1995 murder trial in which Simpson was acquitted.

Terrell and Erik Rush then get into it over gun control. Rush being a Black conservative is the shield that Hannity needs whenever an issue of racism is hurled upon him and those in the conservative movement.

WorldNetDaily, a notorious conservative website that agitates the birther movement is getting more coverage since the president won reelection. Rush is a writer to this website.

Rush decried the “fearmongering” and “histrionics” that always follow a high-profile case like this one involving firearms. He said the gun control rhetoric is coming from liberals who want to “disarm the public.” Terrell interrupted him to call that a “complete lie,” and Rush attempted to get Terrell to stop interrupting him.

After a small intervention by Hannity, Rush went back to arguing against new gun control laws, saying there are no studies to back up their potential effectiveness. Rush brought race into the equation, criticizing Terrell for being a black man on the side of big government. Terrell fired back, accusing Rush of being “used,” and said he would keep shouting until his mic got cut off.

Terrell called Rush an “embarrassment,” and Rush continued to yell at Terrell for interrupting him.

“Why don’t you shut up?! Just please shut up! Just shut up! You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

This is what Sean Hannity does for a living! He pushes this division for ratings. This is the type of stuff that riles up Blacks and Hispanics. This is the type of stuff that makes Republicans look like the total racist, sexists, homophobic, condescending, overreaching, bombastic assholes most minorities point them out to be!

GUN RIGHTS FOR WHITE MEN! GUN CONTROL FOR BLACKS, HISPANICS, AND MUSLIMS!

NFL Star Murders Girlfriend Then Kills Himself!

Jovan Belcher Chiefs Shooting
Kansas City Chief Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend. When approached by team coach,  Romeo Crennel, Belcher turned the gun on himself. He died of his injuries. The event was a murder-suicide.
The Kansas City Chiefs is a professional NFL team. The team is part of the American Football Conference and they play at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

They're totally devastated over the loss of Jovan Belcher.

We want to send our condolences to Kasandra Perkins and her family. Belcher and Perkins have a daughter together. A tragedy in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher fatally shot his girlfriend and then took his own life on Saturday morning, according to various reports.

As reported by KCTV in Kansas City, police confirm that the 25-year-old Chiefs player shot and killed his girlfriend at a private residence before taking his own life outside the team's facility.

According to the Kansas City Star, police confirmed that Belcher was the player involved. The Star had previously reported that the player involved was confronted by team personnel in the parking lot outside the team's facilities before taking his own life. Citing unnamed sources, Mike Garafolo of USA Today and Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports also name Belcher as the player involved.

Police spokesman Darin Snapp told The Associated Press, that the player spoke with Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel in the parking lot, thanking them for all they had done for him, before turning his gun on himself.

Undrafted out of the Maine, Belcher had been with the Chiefs since the 2009 season. According to the Kansas City Star, he and his girlfriend had a 3-month-old daughter.

The team issued a brief statement, via NFL.com.

"We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation."

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the NFL intends for the Chiefs to play their Week 13 game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

KCTV 5 and CBS reports, The first shooting was reported about 8 a.m. at a home near East 54th Terrace and Crysler Avenue. The second shooting was reported about 10 minutes later at a Chiefs practice facility located by Arrowhead Stadium.

When police arrived at the home, a woman came out of the house and told them her daughter had been shot several times by her boyfriend. Despite calling Perkins her daughter, the woman was actually Belcher's mother. Police said the Chiefs player was renting the home on Crysler Avenue.

Police said Perkins was taken to the hospital where she died.

Officials said Belcher, 25, shot and killed his girlfriend and then drove to the practice facility, where he shot and killed himself. Belcher approached Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel outside of the practice facility, thanked them for all they had done for him and shot himself in the head as police arrived.

While Officer Darin Snapp didn't confirm what was believed to have led up to the shooting, he did say Belcher and his girlfriend had been known to argue in the past and had argued the morning of the shooting.

Friends of Perkins said the argument that led up to the shooting may have been centered around a Trey Songz concert. Perkins allegedly went to the performer's show Friday night at the Midland Theatre and stayed out later than Belcher would have liked. When she returned, the two started arguing.

There were four people in the home at the time of the shooting: Belcher, his mother, his daughter and Perkins. Police said the baby was in another room at the time and is now in the care of a grandmother.

Chiefs players arriving for a regularly scheduled team meeting at 9:30 a.m. to prepare for their matchup with the Carolina Panthers the following day had no idea what had happened.

Many players took to Twitter to offer their condolences.

"Times like this you have to pray!!! I love you man, brothers for life!!!!" wide receiver Dexter McCluster tweeted.

"I am devastated by this mornings (sic) events. I want to send my thoughts and prayers out to everyone effected (sic) by this tragedy," linebacker Tamba Hali tweeted.

Perkins is a cousin of the wife of another Chiefs player, running back Jamaal Charles. She recently moved to the Kansas City area from Texas.

Arrowhead was locked down for about an hour following the shooting while police tried to figure out exactly what happened, but they said nobody was ever in any danger.

Belcher went to school in Maine and is from West Babylon, NY. In 2012, the former rookie free agent linebacker entered his fourth season with Kansas City. He started 10 games this season and had 38 tackles.

Those who knew and worked with him said he was a quiet man and usually kept to himself.

Belcher's agent has been tweeting from his account and is encouraging everyone to donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at afsp.org.

Using the same Twitter account, Belcher's family said, "We would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time. We never would have imagined such a thing. A young child is now going to grow up without parents. Please continue to pray. God bless."

Kansas City Mayor Sly James spoke out about the tragedy when he heard the news.

"You know, I struggle a little bit because, obviously, Jovan Belcher's profile elevates the subject, but there are hundreds of young people who've lost their lives and they're all tragic. They're all regrettable, they're all things that, hopefully, we could have avoided. This one was particularly bad because of the circumstances, but I just hope people will look at the act and not try to judge the person. There's a lot of things you don't know," James said. "You have absolutely no idea what it's like to see somebody kill themselves. If you can take your worst nightmare and then put somebody that you know and love into that situation and give them a gun and stand three feet away from them and watch them kill themselves, that's what it's like. It's unfathomable, it's something that you would love to wash away from your mind, but you can't do it. I don't' know what else to tell you. Think about your worst nightmare, multiply by five."

According to a statement from the Chiefs, there will be a football game Sunday between the Chiefs and the Panthers.

"After discussions between the league office, head coach Romeo Crennel and Chiefs team captains, the Chiefs advised the NFL that it will play tomorrow's game vs. the Carolina Panthers at its originally scheduled time."

The Panthers arrived in Kansas City on Saturday.

White Students Mock Chris Brown/Rihanna Incident In Blackface!

Troubling: This image taken during a Waverly High Schoo pep rally shows three students in blackface making light of a highly publicized 2009 domestic violence case involving Rihanna and Chris Brown
High school students mock Chris Brown incident in blackface.
Chris Brown fires back at his critics in a cocky song called "Please Don't Judge Me". The controversial pop star is reportedly back with his former beau fellow controversial pop star Rihanna.

The 2009 incident ended on a sour note when they got into it. Chris Brown was arrested for domestic violence when he assaulted Rihanna.

After the breakup, the singers traded subliminal jabs at one another. Also they've gotten controversial tattoos that got the public wondering if this feud was getting serious.

The Barbadian singer is signed to Def Jam when her mentor Jay-Z held whelm of the record label. Her successful crossover from reggae singer to pop icon has brought her chart acclaimed success. But out of the studio and in the public eye, many see Rihanna's party lifestyle just as controversial as her rebound with Chris Brown.

I've all but written off Chris Brown as a washed up celebrity. He's not bringing on the massive fandom as successors such as Justin Bieber and Drake. He's pretty much making more and more mistakes that's putting him front and center in the news.

This story has to do with the troubled pop stars. Out of upstate New York some high school students revisit the 2009 incident in which Brown punched and kicked Rihanna on their way to the Grammy's Awards.

They decided this act would be a part of their "spirit week" in which students show their pride for their alum matter.

Waverly High School is in the town of the same name. The town is north of New York by a few hours. The population is nearly 100% White.

At least one of the students is holding back the umbrella-wielding Chris Brown impersonator as the student portraying Rihanna is cowering on the floor.

Students who attended the pep rally appear to be smiling and laughing in reaction to the skit.

Many across the spectrum look upon this with outrage. The hip-hop community and women's rights groups are probably up in arms about this skit.

For one, domestic violence against a person isn't funny! These individuals had a right to make light of the incident, but they have to prepare for the consequences when the cameras are rolling on them and someone takes it to the national news agitators.

Of course, Chris Brown and Rihanna are looked upon negatively. But they're human as are those who mocked the 2009 incident.

The Daily Mail reports that the high school in upstate New York has found itself in the middle of a controversy after it was revealed that a trio of students in blackface performed a skit making light of the singer Rihanna being beaten up by Chris Brown during a pep rally Friday.

The story has attracted national attention after Waverly High School alum Matt Dishler posted a photo from the skit on CNN's iReport Monday.

The image shows three white students in dark makeup, with two of them portraying Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend, who were involved in a highly publicized domestic violence incident in 2009.

Students who attended the pep rally appear to be smiling and laughing in reaction to the skit.
Could all have been forgiven by pop singers.
Dishler, 24, who graduated from Waverly High School in 2006, said he did not attend the event, but heard about it from friends.

'I can testify there's not a lot of racial diversity in that school whatsoever. We're not really exposed to that at that school.' He told the Star Gazette. 'I felt like something should have been done about this. I don’t believe the kids had any vicious intentions, but the administrators should have said that’s not exactly OK.'

Waverly Superintendent Joseph Yelich said he was not aware that the students were planning to do the skit, but he has received numerous complaints since then.

Whistle-blower: The photo from the racially charged skit was posted on CNN's iReport by Waverly High School alum Matt Dishler.

'The Wevarly School District is committed to creating a positive atmosphere through all activities,’ Yelich said. 'I’ll be working with building administration, staff and students to develop future activities consistent with that commitment.

In a phone interview with the Daily Mail, Yelich said he has met with staff, students and a school psychologist Tuesday to discuss the incident. He said that all those who attended the meeting made commitments to examine the school’s current activities and ‘set clear expectations’ going forward.

Yelich, who has taken over as school superintendent a little over a year ago, said that he plans to further address the situation during a school assembly planned for next week.

‘I have a personal commitment to create a positive environment,’ Yelich said.

The superintendent has declined to comment on whether the students who took part in the skit or the teachers and staff who signed off on it or failed to stop it during the rally have been or will be reprimanded.

‘There’s more work that need to be done,’ he said.

According to an opinion piece posted by Dishler on CNN iReport to accompany the photo, the Friday rally was attended not only by students, but also by parents, members of the media and local community leaders, and ‘none of them stopped the skit.’

The 24-year-old Waverly graduate shared reactions to the incident from his fellow alumni, including Waverly alum and Yale University graduate Vlad Chituc, who was quoted as saying, ‘I think it's unconscionable that such blatant racism has been tacitly approved two years in a row.

‘The administration should be creating an environment where minorities are welcome, not the butts of racist jokes that make light of domestic violence.’

Dishler’s schoolmate Hannah Van Wie-Desisti said, ‘I used to be so proud of where I came from. Not so much now due to the recent incident. I found it unfathomable that the faculty would not only approve this idea for the skit in the first place, but allow it to go on during the pep rally.

‘I honestly don't believe that the students meant to offend, but were just ill informed of how offending their skit actually was. The staff should have stopped it before it even started. By acting like the skit was acceptable, they are teaching their students that racism is okay and that abuse is humorous.

'The whole thing outraged me and made me so disappointed in the school that I was once loved.’

Dishler has since come under criticism from some Facebook users who compared the skit to a piece of satire, saying that it is not unlike some of the off-color material that is frequently shown on TV and in the movies.
Whistle-blower: The photo from the racially charged skit was posted on CNN's iReport by Waverly High School alum Matt Dishler
Meet the guy who tipped off the mainstream media. Matt Dishler told the press about his former school's racial antics.
In response, the 24-year-old wrote that domestic violence should never be a topic for jokes in a school setting.

‘Do they do it on TV? Yes. Know what else they do on TV? Eat maggots, talk openly about their sex lives, use profane language, show drinking, smoking, a litany of other offenses. If your justification for why it wasn't wrong is because it is ‘on TV,’ he wrote Monday.

Dishler’s mother, Janet, came to her son’s defense on Facebook, writing that she is proud of the 24-year-old for shedding light on a seemingly racist display that took place during school hours, with elementary school students in attendance.

‘Also, I would like someone to explain to me what this skit had to do with team spirit and promoting the homecoming game?????’ Janet Dishler wrote.

Rihanna appears under Def Jam Records.

Texas 99!

23 year old mother of five, Elizabeth Escalona was sentenced to 99 years in prison for child abuse. This type of punishment will sound alarms with the Supreme Court over cruel and unusual punishment.

God damn it's cruel and unusual punishment for some individuals who are sentenced for crimes. In the state of Texas, there's a governor who isn't ashamed of the death penalty. He tried to run for president and got slaughtered by a perennial candidate for higher office. This governor once labeled the perennial candidate a "flip-flopper" on issues such as this one!

God damn this Texas Justice is a bitch!

And this one doosy!

A mother in Texas was sentenced to 99 years in prison for child abuse. She beat her child and then super glued her hands together and then to a wall after the child wasn't compliant to her mother's demand for potty training.

The mother of five is Hispanic and the judge was White and jury was likely the same.

CNN reports that the Texas mother who super-glued her 2-year-old daughter's hands to a wall and beat her over potty training problems was sentenced Friday morning to 99 years in prison, a Dallas County felony records department district clerk said.

Elizabeth Escalona, 23, will be eligible to ask for parole in 30 years. She pleaded guilty in July to a charge of first-degree injury to a child, a crime punishable by anywhere between probation and life in prison.

"This mom was pure evil, and her children are better off without her," prosecutor Eren Price said after a judge delivered Friday's sentence. "Her five kids now have a chance to lead a productive life."

Escalona’s attorney said that the sentence was excessive and that an appeal would be filed, CNN affiliate KTVT reported.

Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Perry, governor of Texas.
Escalona's daughter Jocelyn Cedillo was less than two months shy of her 3rd birthday in September 2011 when Escalona used a powerful adhesive to glue her hands to a wall and beat her because of potty training troubles, authorities said.

Three other children belonging to Escalona, who was pregnant at the time, witnessed the abuse, according to Dallas County district attorney's office spokeswoman Debbie Denmon.

The child urinated on herself during the ordeal, during which she was hit in head and kicked in the groin, among other forms of abuse, Denmon said.

Oefelia Escalona, the defendant's mother, testified during her daughter's sentencing hearing this week that she found the girl and took her to a hospital. Once Jocelyn was there, medical authorities noticed severe bruises to her face and head, as well as a severe brain injury that led to her temporarily being in a coma.

At this week's sentencing hearing, prosecutors showed pictures of Jocelyn's hands and bruised body and forehead.

"The entire picture was very shocking," said Dr. Amy Barton, then a child abuse pediatrician at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, choking back tears on the stand on Monday. "I see a lot of children, and this was one of the most shocking cases that I have seen."

Escalona asked for leniency during her sentencing hearing this week, saying she behaved like a monster but deserved a second chance, KTVT reported. Her mother asked the judge to sentence Elizabeth to probation, according to KTVT.

Price initially offered a plea bargain of 45 years in prison, but Escalona turned it down, the district attorney's office said.

Price said that the judge, after learning more about Escalona during the hearing, was justified in sentencing her to more time.

"Elizabeth Escalona wasn't sorry for what she did to 2-year-old Jocelyn. Elizabeth Escalona felt sorry for herself," Price said. "Those tears on the stand were for her and not for the toddler she tortured."

An attempt to reach Escalona's attorney for comment Friday was not immediately successful.

Before this incident, Escalona had been investigated by Texas Child Protective Services but never arrested or charged, Denmon said.

The child welfare agency put all of her children in foster care after Jocelyn was taken to the hospital. All five of them, including Jocelyn, are now in the custody of their grandmother, Oefelia Escalona.

Texas mom gets 99 years for gluing toddler to wall, beating her
The sentencing of Elizabeth Escalona is a ringing bell to how our U.S. justice system treats Blacks and Hispanics.
I understand this isn't the parent of the year, but this sentence is begging for an appeal and national look into how the justice system works against Blacks and Hispanic/Latinos.

This young mother of five should have at least gotten less than 10 years in prison for such an act. The mother didn't murder her child. That's the problem. If she murdered her child, yeah lock her ass up!

Texas is one of the most conservative states in the central plains. The southern state allows firearm owners to carry in open public. The state's governor Rick Perry, former presidential candidate is proud of giving the death penalty to those who commit acts that involve killing of individuals. There's likely no clemency to those who are charge in crimes that are felonious.

Food Stamp Lottery Winner Dies!

One year ago, Amanda Clayton won the lottery. This year she's no longer able to spend the remainder of her winnings. She died over the weekend in an apparent drug overdose according to news sources.

One way to get over the system, food stamp fraud.

A drop in the bucket is the SNAP program. Many Americans who are on low income assistance or too poor to live on the rising prices of fuel and food apply for benefits from their state and federal resources.

Hence forth the "safety net"

Without a safety net, these people will rob and kill those who have the luxuries of having food in the refrigerator or in the pantry. And yet, these Republicans and their conservative allies are thinking the poor are the reasons for the economic recession. Perhaps those who complain about the poor, should walk a day in that person's shoes!

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the food stamps program.

To Republicans and the racist right, it's a giveaway for Obama's "sons". It's a way for those White taxpayers to give to those "Blah" people. The Republicans would rather pass legislation that would starve children.

Our country shouldn't allow anyone to starve! There are some take advantage of the food stamps program and this cost billions of dollars in government waste.

The scourge of the conservative movement is the low income citizen. These are the people that Mitt Romney wrote off in the now infamous video in which he was caught on camera bashing Americans who may support President Barack Obama. He made the determination that Americans who support the president are victims and dependents of government assistance. That has him dragging in the polls.

President Barack Obama was called the "Food Stamp" president by that jackass Former House Speaker and Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich. That was a dog whistle to rile up White voters. That helped Newt Gingrich beat Mitt Romney in the South Carolina and Georgia primaries.

Still the issue that comes forth from Republicans, that government dependency is a major problem and President Barack Obama and his liberal allies are trying to make the country an entitlement based society.

Other words: NIGGERIZATION.

That's what I've said and I stand by this!

Anyway, a Michigan woman who won the state lottery was still applying for food stamps and welfare. This woman was named Amanda Clayton and she was found dead this weekend.

According to the Associated Press, police say a Detroit-area woman who collected welfare benefits despite winning a $735,000 lottery prize has died of a possible drug overdose.

Ecorse police Sgt. Cornelius Herring confirmed that Clayton was found dead about 9 a.m. Saturday at a home in the community southwest of Detroit.

Relatives of Clayton did not immediately return a phone message for comment.

Clayton of Lincoln Park pleaded no contest to fraud in June and was sentenced to nine months' probation in July. Her attorney has said Clayton repaid about $5,500 in food aid and medical benefits.

Michigan's Department of Human Services says Clayton didn't inform the state about her pre-tax lottery windfall last year.

Republican governor, Rick Snyder signed a law in April requiring lottery officials to tell Human Services about new winners.

I hate to see such a beautiful woman die! I'm not jumping to conclusions but I think it was heroin overdose.

Heroin is by far the most dangerous drug out there! Her life probably ended with a needle. I don't have to wait on the details of how she died.
In court for fraud of the government, Amanda Clayton awaits her sentencing.
Look we seen the epidemic of drugs in the urban communities and yes it's in the suburbs as well.

The Detroit News reports that Clayton had a child custody battle, fought with neighbors, and was forced to buy a second house to escape pressure from a former boyfriend.

Sheryl Schonfeld lived across the street from the home where Clayton grew up, where her parents still live on Hanford Avenue, and said she knew her for at least 17 years.

"We moved in here around the same time, so I've know her since she was a little girl," said Schonfeld. "She was a nice, pleasant girl who never got in trouble, until she won the lottery," she said.

A person who answered a call placed to Clayton's home Sunday, said, "No comment," and hung up the phone.

Schonfeld, 59, said she noticed some new purchases after Clayton's win, including a new car for her father and one for herself. She said Clayton also purchased a home nearby on Anne Avenue in Lincoln Park.

"Then she had to buy another house, I don't know where, because her boyfriend found out where she lived and was bothering her, so she had to move."

She said Clayton had two children. The youngest was with her mother when she was discovered dead.

Schonfeld said Clayton was spending the night with a female friend when the friend heard her child crying.

"Her friend went into the room when she heard the child crying and turned Amanda over and saw she was already dead," said Schonfeld. "Amanda's mother told me she had been taking prescription drugs, but I'm not sure why."

While living on Anne, Clayton was involved in a dispute with neighbors on Aug. 19, which escalated into an altercation and resulted in the arrest of two men who were charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

At the time, Lincoln Park Police Lt. John Martin said two men and two women were arraigned in connection with an assault outside Clayton's home. He said the incident was sparked by a disagreement over grass clippings between Clayton and her neighbor Victor Bartola, 46.

Martin said Clayton was cutting her grass and left grass clippings in Bartola's driveway. He said Bartola then took a broom or leaf blower and returned the clippings to Clayton's property.

An argument ensued and a friend at Clayton's home left, but returned with three other people, and a fight broke out. Those involved in the fight were armed with a knife, air-soft gun and baseball bat. Clayton was not charged in the assault. Bartola was hospitalized and released.

Forty-one days later, she was found dead by Ecorse police in a friend's house on Sunnyside Road in Ecorse. The Wayne County Medical Examiner's office said the cause of death is pending. (Ecorse Police Sgt. Cornelius Herring said she was found at 9 a.m. Saturday.

He said she was the third victim in a rash of drug overdoses in the city over the weekend.

"This was very, very unusual for the city to have so many overdoses at one time," he said. "Two of the other victims were taken to Children's Hospital, and she was the third."

Her battle over her winnings, which gained national attention, began when the state said she got about $5,500 in food aid and medical benefits after winning $735,000, before taxes, in 2011.

Clayton, 25, pleaded no contest to fraud in June, and was placed on six months' probation in July. Her attorney has said Clayton repaid the $5,500 in food aid and medical benefits.

Clayton isn't the only Michigan Lottery winner to become notorious after making headlines.

In August, millionaire Freddie Young, of Detroit, was sentenced to 20 to 35 years in prison for fatally shooting his daughter's landlord.

Young, 64, was convicted on second-degree murder and felony firearm charges in the May 2011 killing of Australian native Gregory McNicol.

Prosecutors said Young won an estimated $1.57 million share of a Michigan Lottery jackpot in February 2011. Three months later, he shot 45-year-old McNicol over $1,000 in back rent owed by his daughter.

In Michigan's first lottery jackpot in 1973, Hermus Millsaps took cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean after winning $1 million.

He bought several new cars over the past 27 years.

But Millsaps ex-wife sued him for additional child support, and salesmen and charity-seekers were a constant in his life.

Millsaps died in April 2002, at the age of 82.

There You Go Again!

Congressman Todd Akin (R-Missouri) is under fire for comments.
Missouri U.S. Senate Race: Claire McCaskill (Democrat) (Incumbent) 49% - Todd Akin (Republican) 43%.

Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri) is rising in the polls. The Republicans are having second thoughts about abandoning Congressman Todd Akin (R-Missouri). What little chances they have to take control of the Senate is dimming. The Republicans are now going to put their chips on Akin.

After numerous attempts to take the Republican senate nominee off the ballot, a defiant Todd Akin told the Republicans that he's in it to win! Despite his defiance, the polls still show this as a toss up. It's leaning in the Democratic column.

Now the debate are on the way and Republicans are hoping that the controversy that Akin caused will die down! The controversy of last month has all but ruin the Republicans chances at taking the seat from an embattled McCaskill.

The Huffington Post reports that Republican Senate candidate Akin told reporters on Thursday that his opponent, Democratic incumbent McCaskill, debated like a "wildcat" and should have been much more "ladylike" in her 2006 campaign against Jim Talent, than she is in her campaign against Akin.

Akin suggested that McCaskill took an aggressive approach in her opening segment because she was worried about her reelection chances.

Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri) is leading in polls.
McCaskill “had a confidence and was very much more sort of ladylike,” Akin told a Bloomberg reporter at a stop on his "Common Sense" bus tour in Jefferson City, Missouri. “In the debate we had Friday, she came out swinging, and I think that’s because she was threatened."

Akin, famous for his comment that victims of "legitimate rape" have physical mechanisms that stop them from becoming pregnant, has been angling for the support of women in Missouri by campaigning with anti-feminist icon Phyllis Schlafly. Schlafly has been an outspoken opponent of birth control access, equal pay for women, paid maternity leave and LGBT rights.

Akin's comment about McCaskill on Thursday is not the first time a male politician has accused a female colleague of not being ladylike. Congressman Allen West (R-Florida) told Congresswoman. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Florida/Democratic Party Leader ) in a 2011 email, "you are not a Lady" and "shall not be afforded due respect from me!"

And when Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) interrupted Arlen Specter during a 2010 radio interview, he told her, "I'm going to treat you like a lady. Now act like one."

The Los Angeles Times report that top Republicans, including Mitt Romney, the party's presidential nominee, have said Akin should abandon his candidacy. The party is struggling to close the gender gap among female voters that favors President Obama.

But as the GOP's chances dim for picking up the seats needed to win majority control of the Senate, top conservative Republicans have announced they would back Akin with endorsements and financial support.

Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa), Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina), Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma) have thrown their support for Congressman Todd Akin in his bid for the U.S. Senate.
