Blame Game: Robert Card!

No one is calling this killer a terrorist. He allegedly supports MAGA.

On Friday, they discovered the body of the white terrorist who massacred multiple people in Lewiston, Maine. While the world is watching the genocide in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, America is still entrenched in the mass murders by firearms.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Janet Mills, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Angus King (I-ME), Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) and Chellie Pingree (D-ME) reacted to the mass shooting in usual fashion. Offering prayers, calls for punishment and the usual partisan divide over whether we should continue the status quo or change the norm.

These murderers don't have mental illness. They are calculated and prepared. It happened to be a moment where they have the opportunity to take out lives. There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.

I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases.

Biden has not confirmed any planned trips to Maine but it is expected.

Eighteen people were killed and thirteen others were injured. Seven were killed at Just-In-Time Recreation, eight were killed at Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant, and three died in a hospital. Four of those killed in the restaurant were deaf, having been participating in a cornhole tournament for the deaf community. Ranging in age from 14 to 76, the dead were all identified on October 27.

At Just-In-Time Recreation: Tricia Asselin, 53; Tommy Conrad, 34; Michael Deslauriers II, 51; Keith McNeir, 64; Lucille Violette, 73; Robert Violette, 76; Jason Walker, 51; Aaron Young, 14; and Bill Young, 44.

At Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant: William Brackett, 48; Peyton Brewer-Ross, 40; Maxx Hathaway, 35; Bryan MacFarlane, 40; Ronald Morin, 55; Joshua Seal, 36; Arthur Strout, 42; Stephen Vozzella, 45; and Joseph Walker, 57.

He did his most deadly damage in a bowling alley.

The junk food media does its best to humanize the terrorist. It is almost like clockwork.

The terrorist supported MAGA or QAnon based rhetoric.

The terrorist was fired from his job.

The terrorist was dealing with a break up.

The terrorist was hearing voices in his head.

All the ingredients of how they justify white terrorists as being accidental murderers.

According to Wired, right after the shooting, social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter were flooded with disinformation about the terrorist. This included false claims from verified premium Twitter accounts that he had been arrested and was no longer at large, or stating inaccurately, based on an arrest for someone else of the same name, that he was arrested in 2016 for possessing and disseminating sexually explicit materials. Some accounts claimed he voted for former U.S. president Barack Obama, or was a supporter of Hamas.

Say it was a Muslim or a Black man.... the narrative would be forcing Black leaders, Muslim Americans and progressives to denounce it and acknowledge extremists within their own ranks.

The innocent lives taken by gun violence.

White terrorists inspired by far right beliefs are never are denounced by MAGA. If they are, they are often called fed or a leftist.

Most mass shooters get their firearms legally and they use them for one thing: killing as many as they can.

The shootings began at Just-In-Time Recreation, a Lewiston bowling alley, during a youth league event. The shooter used a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and equipped with an extended magazine and optic. Police received the first emergency calls at 6:56 p.m. EDT. Plainclothes officers using a nearby shooting range also heard the gunshots and responded. The first responding officers arrived at the scene within four minutes of the first call. Seven people were killed at this location.

Shortly after, at 7:08, a second shooting was reported at Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant, 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Just-In-Time. Officers arrived at the scene two minutes later. Eight people were killed at this location, seven of them inside the building and the eighth outside. Another three victims died later in a hospital.

At 8:06, the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office and Maine State Police alerted residents of an active shooter. The sheriff's office also released images of the terrorist inside the bowling alley with a "high-powered assault-style rifle", as well as an image of his 2013 Subaru Outback, warning residents that the shooter was "armed and dangerous".

Possible manifesto or disinformation.

The Central Maine Medical Center coordinated with local area hospitals to take in victims. Several were taken to the Maine Medical Center in Portland, the largest hospital in the state.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office released a photograph of the suspect, a 40-year-old white male, and an intensive manhunt commenced. An arrest warrant was issued, citing eight counts of murder. On October 27, he was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound near a recycling center in nearby Lisbon, where he had recently worked.

The shooting is the tenth-deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, as well as the deadliest of 2023 and the deadliest in the history of Maine.

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.

THE NICE GUY IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PERSON WITH A FIREARM. THOSE WHO ARE SPURN BY RELATIONSHIPS, THE WORKPLACE, SOCIETY IN GENERAL WILL SEEK REVENGE BY TAKING OUT LIVES. THEY WANT TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS OF MASSACRING THEIR FELLOW HUMAN BEING.

THE JUNK FOOD MEDIA AND POLITICIANS ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE BY AMPING UP POLARIZING RHETORIC.

What to do to protect your life.

1. Run - If you hear sounds like firecrackers, popping sounds or suspicious activities around a large gathering (i.e. malls, stores, clubs, public gatherings), if you can flee, run away from the shooter. Do not run in a straight path of the sight. Move around and zig-zag if possible to keep yourself out the line of fire. It's best to not film a shooter commiting the act. If you are willing to risk your life for a viral video, more power to you but its best to stay out of the line of fire by running away.

2. Hide - If you are involved in an active shooting, you must barricade yourself in a room and keep doors locked, lights off, phones on silent. Do not go into restrooms, lockers and kitchens. Those are most likely places where shooters often go. If you can barricade a room to prevent a shooter from getting in, it eliminate the opportunity for the shooter to get through. Make sure you keep your voice low when you're involved in mass shooting. Call 9-1-1 if you can.

3. Fight - If you are willing to risk your life or willing to film the incident, you have no choice but to fight. Make sure you grab something that is powerful enough to disarm a shooter. Do not confront a shooter in the midst of sight. Make yourself not visible if you're trying to fight. Do not think being a "good guy with a gun" is going to stop a bad guy. The cops don't see good guys trying to stop bad guys. They see active shooters and they will shoot anyone who is armed regardless of the matter. If you're ready to fight, be prepared to die. It's best to not be easily seen if you're trying to stop a shooter. If you're a conceal carry and attempt to disarm an active shooter, you are willing to sacrifice your life to save lives. You are willing to go hero, you could die a hero or an idiot.

4. Realize - Mind you, that the types of firearms used by shooter are based on capacity which limits the time of reaction. As with rule 3, you have only less than a second to make a reaction when the shooter is set on sights. So there's no real solution to save your life in the event of an active shooter. The best thing to do is understand, that anywhere in the United States could be a target of a mass shooting. Congress isn't doing a damn thing about it.

Biden has another crisis.

The far right often infiltrate protests and cause chaos to paint progressives protests as violent. Even when the far right attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, they believed that far left members infiltrated the mob. Ignore the fact that Washed Up 45 and his allies urged the supporters to come, called for them to protest and told them to not show weakness.

According to the far rightWhite shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. Almost all mass shooters are registered Democrats because they have liked one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white. They say a white person should "protect" from protesters and use of firearms are justified. They say if a shooter is active military or a veteran who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms. The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

Republicans solutions are more guns, blame others for America's social ills and defect from accepting reality.

You're not safe at home, in the school, the concert, the hospital, the church, the casino, the bus station, the subway, the light rail train, the buses, the malls, the local big box store, the political rally, the protest rally, the beach, the women's center for reproductive surgeries, the mosque, the synagogue, the road trip, the natural disasters, the state/federal buildings, the workplace, the gas station, the family picnic, the food truck rally, the funerals, the birthday parties, the graduations, the wedding, the televised events, the sporting events, the homeless shelter and many more events that have some terrorist with a firearm. Domestic violence, suicide, racism, culture war inspired, politically motivated and international operative inspired are types of gun violence.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of never ending tragedy. Gun violence, extremism and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth.

When you hear folks say "gun rights," what they really mean is that its white privilege. This good guy with a gun nonsense has to end. The cops didn't do nothing when children were shot inside a school. A security guard was shot dead trying to protect shoppers. A cop accidentally shot his own. The good guy who tried to stop a bad guy is outgunned and a part of the rule #3.

Remember #3 means: The "good guy with a gun" better be prepared to die if they want to stop a shooter.

I don't want to hear folks say masks and vaccine mandates impede their freedoms. It prevents a deadly outbreak from spreading. If you want to die from the coronavirus, that's on you. We lost over 1 million people from the coronavirus.

I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. Cause a bullet does not have eyes and it's always likely gonna hit a target. These folks seem to not get it. These incidents are a tragic part of American history. Thoughts and prayers and your heart going out to the victims is not enough. It quite frankly is an insult. I am also tired of scapegoating Black on Black crime, Chicago, Baltimore and Democratic mayors for the nation's obsession to be numb to gun violence. You pretty much enable this nonsense by deflecting.

President Joe Biden is trying to curb gun violence. However, he has no support from Republicans. Most Democrats and America are for gun control measures. However one Democrat and one independent who caucuses with the Democrats in the Senate refuse to change the filibuster rules and its holding us back.

The National Rifle Association is always pushing against gun control. They will not relinquish from the narrative. These guns are not saving lives. The Republicans aided by a fickle junk food media are openly encouraging anarchy and disruption in a desperate attempt for the Republicans to win back Congress and the White House. These agitators are calling for Biden to curb crime but will not help him. They want more guns on the street but balk at the fact Blacks obtain them. It makes no sense.

So in closing, expect more.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence

Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or 988, or text the Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741). GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

DeSoto Bass Projects Will Be Demolished!

The end is coming for longtime Dayton housing projects.

The city of Dayton, Ohio has confirmed that one of the city's oldest housing projects is about to be demolished. It will begin in late 2023 and the project is expected to finished in 2025.

DeSoto Bass Court Homes is one of the city's oldest subsidized homes. The Dayton City Commission held a meeting on Wednesday. During the meeting, Greater Dayton Premier Management announced they will start construction next month on the future Germantown Crossing.

Residents living at DeSoto Bass will soon be relocated to another location.

The city and other agencies are investing millions to create newer affordable housing for those families.

“And it is part of our overall redevelopment plan for that site. It’s really it’s going to be a beautiful housing development,” said Jennifer Heapy, executive director, Greater Dayton Premier Management.

Dayton City Commissioner Chris Shaw says the project is a much needed start to developing the entire area.

“This these are basically first steps, a very depressed and underfunded area of our city,” said Shaw. “It’s getting this kind of investment that’s going to attract other investment.”

Commissioner Shaw grew up in the neighborhood with his family’s dry cleaning business down the road from DeSoto Bass. With construction on the way, Shaw says he’s especially looking forward to seeing the area grow.

“I’m just excited about the future of both. You know, for me, my job here at city hall, but also as someone who has been in that neighborhood my entire life,” says Shaw.

Construction is scheduled to end in August 2025. New homes are set to be up and leasing in December 2025.

The whole complex itself is in the Miami Chapel neighborhood. That area is pretty blighted. The whole area has a few corner stores, Economy Linen, an abandoned railroad track, the U.S. 35/Ohio Route 4 highway and is considered one of the poorest parts of Dayton.

Germantown Crossing will exist of removing the Daymont Behavior Center, DeSoto Bass homes and six abandoned buildings. It will build housing units and a possible grocer.

Matthew Perry Passed Away!

Matthew Perry passed away in Los Angeles.

Best known for playing Chandler Bing on Friends, actor Matthew Perry has passed away at the age of 54. He allegedly had cardiac arrest while inside a jacuzzi. The junk food media reacts to the longtime actor's death. He also starred in the CBS reboot of The Odd Couple.

He also played Sandy on Growing Pains. He was the young teen who took Carol Seaver out on a date and they got drunk. The character had a bad accident and later died. It was a touching episode.

The Emmy-nominated actor was found dead of an apparent drowning at his Los Angeles home Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Times and celebrity website TMZ, which was the first to report the news. Both outlets cited unnamed sources confirming Perry’s death.

His publicists and other representatives did not immediately respond to messages from The Associated Press seeking comment. Asked to confirm police response to what was listed as Perry’s home address, LAPD Officer Drake Madison told AP that officers had gone to that block “for a death investigation of a male in his 50s.”

Perry’s 10 seasons on “Friends” made him one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actors, starring opposite Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer as a friend group in New York.

As Chandler, he played the quick-witted, insecure and neurotic roommate of LeBlanc’s Joey and a close friend of Schwimmer’s Ross. By the series’ end, Chandler is married to Cox’s Monica and they have a family, reflecting the journey of the core cast from single New Yorkers to married and starting families.

The series was one of television’s biggest hits and has taken on a new life — and found surprising popularity with younger fans — in recent years on streaming services.

“Friends” ran from 1994 until 2004, and the cast notably banded together for later seasons to obtain a salar of $1 million per episode for each.

Unknown at the time was the struggle Perry had with addiction and an intense desire to please audiences.

David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow react to the death of Matthew Perry.

“‘Friends’ was huge. I couldn’t jeopardize that. I loved the script. I loved my co-actors. I loved the scripts. I loved everything about the show but I was struggling with my addictions which only added to my sense of shame,” he wrote in his memoir, “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.” “I had a secret and no one could know.”

“I felt like I was gonna die if the live audience didn’t laugh, and that’s not healthy for sure. But I could sometimes say a line and the audience wouldn’t laugh and I would sweat and sometimes go into convulsions,” Perry wrote. “If I didn’t get the laugh I was supposed to get I would freak out. I felt that every single night. This pressure left me in a bad place. I also knew of the six people making that show, only one of them was sick.”

An HBO Max reunion special in 2021 was hosted by James Corden and fed into huge interest in seeing the cast together again, although the program consisted of the actors discussing the show and was not a continuation of their characters’ storylines.

Perry received one Emmy nomination for his “Friends” role and two more for appearances as an associate White House counsel on “The West Wing.”

Perry also had several notable film roles, starring opposite Salma Hayek in the rom-com “Fools Rush In” and Bruce Willis in the the crime comedy “The Whole Nine Yards.”

Pence Out!

He can't beat his own disgraceful ex-boss.

The field is dwindling down fast. As it appears that former vice president Mike Pence is the latest Republican candidate to leave the race.

He made his announcement at the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas.

Pence suspended his 2024 presidential campaign Saturday, with his campaign running low on money and the Republican Party moving in a different direction than the longtime Indiana conservative.

"I came here to say it’s become clear to me this is not my time. So after much deliberation I have decided to suspend my campaign for president effective today," he said onstage. "I have no regrets. The only thing that would have been harder than coming up short would have been if we never tried at all."

His spokesperson Devin O’Malley said Pence chose the convention for the announcement because “the conflict in Israel is a microcosm of what Pence has been evangelizing regarding populism and traditional conservative values."

“RJC provided him one last opportunity to make that case and do so in front of a supportive audience," O'Malley added.

Pence had struggled to gain support in a crowded primary field dominated by support for Washed Up 45. Having broken with his former running mate over certifying the 2020 election results on Jan. 6, 2021, Pence had begun to draw a starker line between himself and the former president on the campaign trail.

“When Donald Trump ran for president in 2016, he promised to govern as a conservative and together, we did,” he said at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College in September. “But it’s important for Republicans to know that he and his imitators in this Republican primary make no such promise today.”

Pence broke with the former president and those he called his “imitators in this Republican primary” on issues such as abortion, support for Ukraine and the national debt. He also called for federal abortion legislation to establish a 15-week minimum national standard, increasing military support to Ukraine and reforming Social Security to reduce the national debt.

Richard Moll Passed Away!

Richard Moll who played Bull Shannon and the voice of Batman's Two Face passed away from natural causes.

Actor who played the lovable bailiff Aristotle Nostradamus "Bull" Shannon on Night Court and voiced Batman The Animated Series rogue Two Face has passed away.

Richard Moll has passed away at the age of 80.

Moll was an actor who appeared on Night Court, Batman The Animated Series, Mighty Max, Spiderman The Animated Series and Disney's Summertine Switch.

Moll died Thursday at his home in Big Bear Lake, California, according to Jeff Sanderson, a publicist at Chasen & Company.

Moll played "Bull” Shannon on NBC's “Night Court” from 1984-1992 alongside stars Harry Anderson and John Larroquette. His character formed a close friendship with the court’s other bailiff, Roz Russell, played by Marsha Warfield. Bull was known for his catchphrase, “Ohh-kay,” and a dim but sweet world view.

Harry Anderson, Charlie Robinson, Markie Post, Richard Moll, Marsha Warfield and John Larroquette. The last surviving members are Warfield and Larroquette.

The towering actor — he was 6-feet 8-inches tall — did not join the reboot of “Night Court” starring Larroquette. The original “Night Court” finale ended with his character being abducted by aliens who needed someone tall to reach the things on their highest shelves.

Moll is survived by his children, Chloe and Mason Moll; ex-wife, Susan Moll; and stepchildren Cassandra Card and Morgan Ostling.

أمريكا تدين إسرائيل بارتكاب جرائم الحرب!

America, Condemn Israel For War Crimes!

Can I be a single issue voter and be driven to not vote for Joe Biden?

I see the influencers online saying it's a choice between democracy and autocracy.

What's the price of continuing the status quo?

For years, I actually stood with the United States when it came to defending its interest.

I stood firm when the U.S. condemn Russia when it invaded Ukraine. Now I see Israel is invading the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Syria and Lebanon. They are striking near Egyptian land and are planning on convincing the West to take action against Iran.

I see they still are dehumanizing protesters who call for an end to apartheid Israel.

I see propaganda from Israel creeps into the White House with Pentagon press secretary John Kirby dismissing the Gaza Ministry of Health's human casualties as propaganda of Hamas.

Biden continues to parade this farce of "Israel having a right to defend itself."

I see that critics continue to pressure you to condemn Hamas for the Oct. 7th attack.

But they clearly ignore the massive images of dead children in the Gaza Strip.

They don't see Israeli forces invading two sovereign nations like Syria and Lebanon escalating a full scale war.

Israel has been doing a land grab since the Nabka. They have expelled Palestinians from their land and isolated them in a concentration camp and a segregated territory.

To ignore the corruption, the changes to its Supreme Court and the thumbing of UN's warnings, Benjamin Netanyahu is on a crusade to drive America into a global war.

Netanyahu has been involved with Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Washed Up 45 and now Biden in pursuing agendas that go against our values. He has made it clear that he has American presidents in his back pocket.

Israel wants the U.S. to do its dirty work. Thinking about the response in Syria overnight.

The U.S. confirmed it struck a facility it believes held Iran-backed "militants." Last Wednesday, a U.S. military base was struck by drones and it injured several officials.

I going on the limb that Israeli intelligence claimed that Iran used proxies.

The Israeli's haven't struck Iran yet. They are waiting on America to intervene.

The U.S. gives Israel billions of dollars in aid annually, consistently blocks UN Security Council resolutions condemning Israel, and backs its military offensives publicly. But why?

What's the thinking behind America going above-and-beyond for Israel?

A Dork In The Field!

John Edward vibes.

Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips, a moderate Democrat from the affluent suburbs of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metroplex has announced he will run for president. He will launch is campaign in sanctioned New Hampshire.

He will challenge Joe Biden, the likely nominee for the Democratic Party nomination.

Phillips also invited a potential challenger for his House primary. If he fails to win the nomination and continue to be a member of the House, he will be on the list of candidates Democrats that could lose a primary.

The Minnesota Democrat made the announcement in an interview with CBS News. Asked if he was running for president next year, Phillips said, "I am. I have to."

"I will not sit still, I will not be quiet in the face of numbers that are so clearly saying we're going to be facing an emergency next November," Phillips added.
Biden's campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday night.

Phillips, 54, has been a staunch critic of Biden's re-election bid, citing a want for a younger leader to replace the 80-year-old president, and has previously called on other candidates to challenge him.

"As a Democrat, I adore Joe Biden. He saved this country. He can cement his legacy," Phillips said in an August interview on NBC News' "Meet the Press." "My real call to action right now is not about me. The call to action is to ask the president to pass the torch."

"Enter the primary, my friends," Phillips added later in the interview. "Everybody who is on the bench, meet the moment. Don’t wait five years. We need you now."

The move comes as Biden faces stagnant approval ratings amid voter concerns about the economy and the president's age, though the White House has been dismissive toward a possible Phillips presidential run in the past.

When asked by a reporter during a press briefing Tuesday if the president had a reaction to reports of Phillips preparing to enter the race, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said she would not speak to electoral politics, but appreciated the congressman's "almost 100" percent support of Biden.

Phillips stepped down from a House Democratic leadership position at the beginning of October, saying it felt appropriate to move aside to avoid distractions because his "convictions relative to the 2024 presidential race are incongruent with the majority of my caucus."

The third-term congressman is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, a bipartisan group of lawmakers that aims to work across the aisle. Before serving in Congress, Phillips worked for small startups, led his family's business and helped build Talenti Gelato's business, according to the congressman's biography on his website.

Phillips flipped his current congressional seat blue when he was elected in 2018 by defeating incumbent Erik Paulsen 55.7% to 44.3%.

Ron Harris, a member of the Democratic National Committee, jumped into the race earlier this month for the congressional seat currently held by Phillips.

"Our community deserves strong, effective, Democratic leadership ready to stand with President @JoeBiden & deliver for working families," Harris posted to X upon announcing his run.

פשעי מלחמה נוספים: ישראל פתחה בתקיפות אוויריות בלבנון ובסוריה! ארה"ב סייעה לכמה!

Israel is not winning hearts and minds.

More War Crimes: Israel Launches Airstrikes In Lebanon And Syria! U.S. Aided Some!

When will Israel be held accountable?

Literally invading two other countries and air striking them. That should merit a response and condemnation from world leaders and the United Nations.

Who will reject the call to hold Israel accountable?

The U.S. President, Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the warmonger himself, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Biden is on a fast track to losing young voters, Arab Americans, Jewish and establishment Democrats. His stance on Israel will not change despite the horrific images of dead children in the Gaza Strip.

The U.S. needs to stop getting intelligence from Israel. It will lead us to global war.

Israeli strikes have killed at least eight soldiers in southern Syria, according to Syrian state media, in an attack that the Israeli army said was a response to earlier rocket fire.

Persistent rocket and artillery exchanges with Lebanon’s Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah and allied Palestinian factions across Israel’s northern borders with Lebanon and Syria in recent weeks have raised fears of a new front in Israel’s war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Two dozen American military personnel were wounded last week in a series of drone attacks at American bases in Iraq and Syria, U.S. Central Command told NBC News on Tuesday.

The Pentagon confirmed the attacks last week, but the number of U.S. casualties has not been previously disclosed.

Israel commits more crimes. They strike Damascus International Airport. They violated another sovereignty. It is an act of war.

Twenty American personnel sustained minor injuries on Oct. 18 when at least two one-way attack drones targeted al-Tanf military base in southern Syria, CENTCOM said.

One of the drones was shot down. All of the wounded personnel were returned to duty, CENTCOM said, and there was no damage to any military installations.

On that same day, another four American personnel suffered minor injuries during two separate drone attacks against U.S. and coalition forces stationed at al-Asad base in western Iraq, CENTCOM said.

The U.S. shot down the one-way attack drones, but the debris from one destroyed a hanger that contained small aircraft, CENTCOM said. All of the injured personnel returned to duty.

An American civilian contractor died due to a cardiac incident during a shelter-in-place order, but it did not occur during one of the drone attacks.

The attacks came amid rising tensions in the region over the conflict in Israel.

The U.S. launched strikes on Iranian-linked targets in Syria on Thursday in retaliation for a series of drone attacks on American military bases in the region, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said.

"Today, at President Biden’s direction," Austin said, "U.S. military forces conducted self-defense strikes on two facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated groups. These precision self-defense strikes are a response to a series of ongoing and mostly unsuccessful attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed militia groups that began on October 17."

The U.S. military action comes amid rising tensions in the region over the conflict in Israel. Austin called the attacks “separate and distinct from the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas” and said they don’t represent a shift in the U.S. approach to the conflict.

Biden is dancing with the devil.

Austin said, "As a result of these attacks, one U.S. citizen contractor died from a cardiac incident while sheltering in place; 21 U.S. personnel suffered from minor injuries." All those injured have since returned to duty, he said.

"The President has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel," Austin said, "and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will not tolerate such attacks and will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests."

He said: "The United States does not seek conflict and has no intention nor desire to engage in further hostilities, but these Iranian-backed attacks against U.S. forces are unacceptable and must stop. Iran wants to hide its hand and deny its role in these attacks against our forces. We will not let them."

Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, said Tuesday the groups conducting the attacks are supported by Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

“We always reserve the right to defend ourselves, and we will never hesitate to take action when needed to protect our forces and our interests overseas,” he added.

Richard Roundtree Passed Away!

Richard Roundtree passed away from pancreatic cancer.

Richard Roundtree, the trailblazing actor who starred as the ultra-smooth private detective in several “Shaft” films beginning in the early 1970s, has died. He was 81.

Roundtree’s longtime manager, Patrick McMinn, said the actor had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1993 and underwent a double mastectomy.

“Richard’s work and career served as a turning point for African American leading men,” McMinn said. “The impact he had on the industry cannot be overstated.”

Roundtree, who was born in New Rochelle, New York, was considered as the first Black action hero and became one of the leading actors in the blaxploitation genre through his New York street smart John Shaft character in the Gordon Parks-directed film in 1971. At age 28, it was Roundtree’s first feature film appearance after starting his career as a model.

Roundtree’s “Shaft” was part of a change in how Black movies were viewed in Hollywood, which failed to consider Black actors – especially for leading roles — in projects at the time. The blaxploitation films were primarily aimed at the African American audiences.

Roundtree was best known as action hero John Shaft.

In the film, his character navigated the world of thugs. He regularly whipped out popular one-liners like “It’s my duty to please that booty.”

“What we were doing was a good, old Saturday afternoon shoot ’em up,” Roundtree said in a 2000 interview with The Associated Press.

Isaac Hayes’ “Shaft” theme song — which included the line “You a bad mother— (Shut your mouth)” — helped insinuate the original movie into the pop-cult consciousness. The singer, who died in 2008, said the song was “like the ‘shot heard round the world.” His single won an Academy Award for best song in 1971 and two Grammys the following year.

After the film’s success, Roundtree returned in sequels “Shaft’s Big Score” in 1972 and “Shaft in Africa” in 1973. That same year, he played the savvy detective once again on the CBS television series “Shaft,” which lasted only seven episodes.

Roundtree reprised his role in the 2000 “Shaft” film, a revival that starred Samuel L. Jackson. He appeared as Jackson’s uncle in the big-budget film that was aimed at the general audience. Both appeared again in the same roles in the 2019 film starring Jessie T. Usher.

Richard with his five children.

Jackson called Roundtree the “prototype” and the “best to ever do it” in a social media post.

“SHAFT, as we know it is & will always be his Creation,” he said of Roundtree. “His passing leaves a deep hole not only in my heart, but I’m sure a lotta y’all’s, too.”

Through his 50-plus year career, Roundtree appeared in a number other notable films including “Earthquake,” “Man Friday” with Peter O’Toole, “Roots,” “Maniac Cop” “Se7en” and “What Men Want” starring Taraji P. Henson. He also made his mark with television roles on “Magnum P.I.,” “The Love Boat,” “Being Mary Jane” and “The Love Boat.”

In 1995, Roundtree received a lifetime achievement award at the MTV Movie & TV awards.

Blood Reign: Mass Shooting In Lewiston, Maine!

Mass shooting in Lewiston. When will we discuss mass shootings in America?

Okay, the No. 1 problem in the United States happens again. What happens is we cover it for a few days, get reaction from President Joe Biden, a state governor or a mayor about the latest mass shooting in the country.

We talk about the weapon of choice for mass shootings. The calls for more gun reform grow only for Republicans and some Democrats to balk at it.

Republicans will say "Now it's not the time to talk about gun violence."

This is No. 643.

It happened in Lewiston, Maine.

Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Maine Gov. Janet Mills, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Sen. Angus King (I-ME), Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) and Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-ME) were notified and have issued statements about the situation.

Confirmed 22 people were shot and killed. Over 60 people suffered injuries.

There are also reports of shots fired at additional locations, including a local bar, according to law enforcement sources briefed on the situation.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. EDT, police, fire, and rescue personnel arrived at Sparetime Recreation after a report of an active shooter. Shortly after, a shooting at Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant was reported, followed by a nearby Walmart distribution center. The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office and Maine State Police alerted residents of an active shooter at approximately 8 p.m EDT.

The Central Maine Medical Center began coordinating with local area hospitals to take in victims. Several victims were taken to Maine Medical Center, the state's largest medical center; the hospital is on lockdown.

The Lewiston Police Department released a photo of one suspect, the identity of whom has not been publicly confirmed, with a manhunt still ongoing.

According to the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office, as of October 25, the suspect remains at large. A picture of the suspect, a white male, and a white 2013 Subaru Outback connected to the shootings was released by the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office in an effort to identify the suspect.

According to NBC News chief justice contributor Jonathan Dienst, police are believed to have the identity of the suspect. Former ATF agent Jim Cavanaugh stated that law enforcement will attempt to "eliminate the active killer or killers."

Terrorist identified.

Terrorist exited vehicle and started shooting,

The call number to the U.S. Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official phone number, 202-224-3121. Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

Mike Johnson Is A Meme Within Itself!

A guy like Mike Johnson is the stuff comedians dreamed of.

Republicans managed to have find a House Speaker. A lawmaker who is an election denier, white nationalist and a new headache for President Joe Biden.

Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) is the 56th U.S. House Speaker. After winning 220 votes over Democratic Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), this three week charade is finally over.

On Wednesday, Republicans eagerly elevating a deeply conservative but lesser-known leader to the major seat of U.S. power and ending for now the weeks of political chaos in their majority.

Johnson, 51, of Louisiana, swept through on the first ballot with support from all Republicans anxious to put the past weeks of tumult behind and get on with the business of governing. He was quickly sworn into office, second in line to the presidency.

“The people’s House is back in business,” Johnson declared after taking the gavel.

A lower-ranked member of the House GOP leadership team, Johnson emerged as the fourth Republican nominee in what had become an almost absurd cycle of political infighting since Kevin McCarthy’s ouster as GOP factions jockeyed for power. While not the party’s top choice for the gavel, the deeply religious and even-keeled Johnson has few foes and an important GOP backer: Donald Trump.

“I think he’s gonna be a fantastic speaker,” Trump said Wednesday at the New York courthouse where the former president, who is now the Republican front-runner for president in 2024, is on trial over a lawsuit alleging business fraud.

Three weeks on without a House speaker, the Republicans have been wasting their majority status — a maddening embarrassment to some, democracy in action to others, but not at all how the House is expected to function.

President Joe Biden called to congratulate the new speaker and said it’s “time for all of us to act responsibly” with challenges ahead to fund the government and provide aid for Ukraine and Israel.

“We need to move swiftly,” the president said in a statement.

In the House, far-right members had refused to accept a more traditional speaker, and moderate conservatives didn’t want a hard-liner. While Johnson had no opponents during a private party roll call late Tuesday, some two dozen Republicans did not vote, more than enough to sink his nomination.

But when GOP Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik rose to introduce Johnson’s name Wednesday as their nominee, Republicans jumped to their feet for a standing ovation.

“House Republicans and Speaker Mike Johnson will never give up,” she sai

Democrats again nominated their leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York, criticizing Johnson as an architect of Trump’s legal effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election he lost to Democrat Biden.

With Republicans controlling the House only 221-212 over Democrats, Johnson could afford just a few detractors to win the gavel. He won 220-209, with a few absences.

Jeffries said House Democrats will find “common ground” work with Republicans whenever possible for the “good of the country.”

Lawmakers quickly reconvened to get back to work, approving a resolution saying the House “stands with Israel” and “condemns Hamas’ brutal war.” Next, they turned to a stalled government funding bill.

Overnight the endorsements for Johnson started pouring in, including from the failed speaker hopefuls. Rep. Jim Jordan, the hard-charging Judiciary Committee chairman backed by Trump, gave his support, as did Majority Leader Steve Scalise, the fellow Louisiana congressman rejected by Jordan’s wing, who stood behind Johnson after he won the nomination.

The Republican conference picked its leader. By the way, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) told a Black reporter to "shut up."

“Mike! Mike! Mike!” lawmakers chanted at a press conference after the late-night internal vote, surrounding Johnson and posing for selfies in a show of support.

Anxious and exhausted, Republican lawmakers are desperately trying to move on.

Johnson’s rise comes after a tumultuous month, capped by a head-spinning Tuesday that within a span of a few hours saw one candidate, Rep. Tom Emmer, the GOP Whip, nominated and then quickly withdraw when it became clear he would be the third candidate unable to secure enough support from GOP colleagues after Trump bashed his nomination.

“He wasn’t MAGA,” said Trump, referring to his Make America Great Again campaign slogan.

Attention quickly turned to Johnson. A lawyer specializing in constitutional issues, Johnson had rallied Republicans around Trump’s legal effort to overturn the 2020 election results.

Elevating Johnson to speaker gives Louisianians two high-ranking GOP leaders, putting him above Scalise.

Affable and well liked, colleagues swiftly started giving Johnson their support. In no time, his name replaced McCarthy’s on the sign outside the speaker’s office in the Capitol.

The congressman, who drew on his Christian beliefs, said to the American people watching: “Our mission here is to serve you well and to restore the people’s faith in this House.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who led a small band of hard-liners to engineer McCarthy’s ouster at the start of the month, posted on social media that “Mike Johnson won’t be the Speaker the Swamp wants but, he is the Speaker America needs.”

Republicans have been flailing all month, unable to conduct routine business as they fight amongst themselves with daunting challenges ahead.

The federal government risks a shutdown in a matter of weeks if Congress fails to pass funding legislation by a Nov. 17 deadline to keep services and offices running. More immediately, President Biden has asked Congress to provide $105 billion in aid — to help Israel and Ukraine amid their wars and to shore up the U.S. border with Mexico. Federal aviation and farming programs face expiration without action.

Many hard-liners have been resisting a leader who voted for the budget deal that McCarthy struck with Biden earlier this year, which set federal spending levels that far-right Republicans don’t agree with and now want to undo. They are pursuing steeper cuts to federal programs and services with next month’s funding deadline.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia said she wanted assurances the candidates would pursue impeachment inquiries into Biden and other top Cabinet officials.

In all, some 15 congressmen, but no women, competed for the gavel over the past several weeks.

During the turmoil, the House was led by a speaker pro tempore, Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., the bow tie-wearing chairman of the Financial Services Committee. His main job was to elect a more permanent speaker.

Some Republicans — and Democrats — wanted to give McHenry more power to get on with the routine business of governing. But McHenry, the first person to be in the position that was created in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks as an emergency measure, declined to back those overtures. He, too, received a standing ovation.
