In South Florida, the state investigators are trying to determine if this was justifiable defense or callous murder.
Reminder: A good guy with a gun is still a threat to the police. A good guy with a gun doesn't think about the consequences when they use it. They could create a situation that causes panic. The good guy could injure a person. To kill someone over property is just fucking stupid.
Property. Of all freaking things.
A person should use a firearm if they are protecting their own property, their family and their animals.
A corporation is capable of salvaging the lost or damaged products. The people who stole diapers will eventually be arrested for theft. But will Florida authorities arrest the guy who wanted to help a store detective?
Deputies says they were called to the Pine Hills Walmart after the shopper shot and killed a suspected diaper thief in the parking lot. This location is where a police officer was brutally killed by a man who murdered his ex-fiance.
Gunman shoots a shoplifter.
The shooting happened at the Pine Hills Walmart Saturday morning and the shopper opened fire out of fear for his life.
"What we have at this point is that the individual felt threatened -- one of the suspects reached for something [and he] thought that it was a weapon or firearm," said the Orange County sheriff. spokesperson Angelo Nieves.
The person killed was 19 years old and was shoplifting diapers with three accomplices.
They were loading diapers in a car when a Walmart employee tried to stop them, the station reported.
The shopper told deputies he showed up at this point to assist the store employee.
Deputies said after the gunfire the four suspects drove off and smashed into two cars. Three got away on foot while the other who was shot collapsed on the ground near a gas station.
The suspect was pronounced dead.
So here's a man who felt the need to be a fucking hero. An asshole who would shot a person who was unarmed and stealing diapers.
By the way, the white extremists are having a field day with this. They don't value the life of the victim. They celebrate this as a "service rendered". I mean, what kind of country do we live in?
Who the hell appointed this shopper to be a cop, a judge and an executor?
White extremists are a threat to people of color and religion. Since the fuhrer won the election, the ugliest elements of the country come out. To think that some idiot with a gun would believe it's "justifiable" to kill a shoplifter over diapers is pretty fucked up.
Man wigs out on bath salts and murders a family. The law didn't put this one down like they did Rudy Eugene.
BE WARNED THE PHOTOS SHOWN ARE DISTURBING!
Rudy Eugene became famous for being the Florida zombie. He was shot by police after he wigged out on marijuana (laced with bath salts) and mauled a homeless man of his face. The man luckily survived but his face was destroyed by Eugene. The junk food media released the horrific pictures of Eugene stripped naked and on top of the man eating his face and raping him.
He was killed soon as the police arrived.
Now it seems like he has some competition. A Florida man is under medical watch after he stabbed a couple to death and then he eat one of the victim's face.
John and Michelle (Mishcon) Stevens were brutally murdered by a White thug.
John Stevens III and Michelle Mishcon were brutally attacked by this thug. This thug who lived a privileged life in West Palm Beach. He was the son of a dentist who operated on celebrities teeth.
Austin Harrouff, who gave a fake name, allegedly stabbed the couple as they were sitting outside their home watching the stars.
This thug is a student at Florida State University and is a member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity.
Rudy Eugene, the Miami Zombie
This thug was the all-American boy who got good grades and whatever.....I don't care what this thug done. He's a pampered White thug who murdered an innocent couple for no damn reason.
He is facing murder charges, aggravated assault, breaking and entering, and possession of an illegal substance. He is right now under police and medical watch in "grave condition".
He wasn't shot like Rudy Eugene. This thug survived a police encounter.
The law tried to tase him and sic the K-9 officer on him. None of that worked. So they piled on him. And as the law tried to restrain him, he was making beastily sounds and trying to bite off his skin.
This designer drug, flakka (not the rapper Waka Flocka Flame) is a bath salt that is banned in the United States.
Somehow it's sneaking its way into the states. Some videos that appeared on social media shows people acting like zombies and beasts when they use this shit.
And the question is raised again! Why did the law shoot Rudy Eugene but spared Austin Harrouf?
They both committed horrendous acts.
I want to once again warn you that the image of the victim of Eugene's attack is shown before and after. Take discretion in this photo.
SEE THE AFTERMATH.
Black Lives Matter activist and New York Daily News writer Shaun White pointed out how the law sees Black and White murder suspects.
Kouren Thomas was gunned down by a self-proclaimed vigilante.
There is a controversy brewing down in Raleigh, North Carolina. A man is facing murder charges after he shot an killed an unarmed Black man leaving a house party.
Chad Copley is another White vigilante who decided to take actions into his own hands.
The 39 year old man was a neighborhood watchman who was concerned about the "hoodlums" making all the noise in the neighborhood.
Copley allegedly fired through his garage door striking a young man in the head.
This rings echos of that asshole who killed Trayvon Martin in 2012.
Kouren Thomas was a 20 year old with a vibrant life. He was about to attend college and was working. He was in the process of helping his girlfriend move into her dormitory.
"We've have a bunch of hoodlums here racing. I'm locked and loaded. I'm going outside to secure my neighborhood." That was the first call to 911 by Copley.
After he fired on Kouren, he called 911 again reporting he had fired a warning shot. He admitted that he may have got someone.
"Well I don't know if they were shot or not, ma'am. I fired my warning shot like my warning shot like I'm supposed to by law. They do have firearms, and I'm trying to protect myself and my family."
This criminal killed an innocent man. Now he faces a trial that may end his life.
Of course, the 911 operator was concerned about who he shot. Copley said on the phone, he didn't care who was shot.
"Ma'am, I don't know who they are. They are frigging black males outside my frigging house with firearms. Please send PD."
The law found no weapons on Kouren and there were no firearms on the individuals he was complaining about.
Now Copley is facing the DEATH CARD in regards to the death of Kouren and he's pleading not guilty. Of course, he's innocent until proven guilty in this murder.
Once again, I am done sending my condolences to the families of the victim. What I want is basically is for Congress to pass laws that restrict people like Copley from obtaining firearms. What I want is basically gun control laws that prevent those with mental illness or criminal history from obtaining them. What I want is more accountability held against cops who kill unarmed suspects. What I want is more things done to end senseless acts of gun violence.
Now let's see if the conservative agitators will bring up the criminal history of Kouren. Will they accuse Kouren of being a member of a domestic terrorist group (gang)?
The self-proclaimed Hispanic White guy goes into a redneck bar to brag about getting away with murder. He got served at the bar after he got into a heated confrontation with a restaurant worker.
Alright! This guy needs to go away. He is getting attention yet again for his actions since the fatal encounter. He is the most hated man in the country. He would go into the record book as being as annoying as his old buddy "Softball Hannity".
To this day, this asshole claimed that Trayvon Martin was the person who instigated the fatal encounter in Sanford, Florida. He was in a restaurant in the area allegedly bragging about the encounter with the teen.
Some guy named "Eddie" served this asshole a five knuckle roll before fleeing from the scene.
The asshole didn't have his Glock on him at the time. He called the law saying that these biker dudes were going to kill him, bring help fast.
The owner of the establishment said that he was there, but the incident was blown way out of proportion. Ed Winters, the owner of Gators Riverside bar.
"Everywhere this guy goes he causes controversy," Winters to The Orlando Sentinel. "You'd think he'd keep a low profile."
The bar is a redneck establishment with the losing side of the Civil War inside.
The asshole started a conversation with a biker who had racist tattoos on his skin. The asshole compliment him on his neat tats.
The biker said to the asshole, you're not a part of this establishment get the fuck out of here.
I guess the asshole was saying, "Ah, guys. C'mon, I am the guy who put the slug in Trayvon Martin!"
The BBC reports that Facebook and Giphy have removed an offensive posting involving Trayvon Martin. They deemed it inappropriate. The image was splashed with Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants.
The animation shows Spongebob picking up trash before becoming angry at the level of trash being dumped. He takes out a firearm and says "not on my watch."
What was offensive was the fact that Trayvon Martin was shown and an image of George Zimmerman took the place of Spongebob.
Someone tipped off Facebook and Giphy about this. They were looking for funny gifs of Spongebob Squarepants when they seen this one on the trending image page of Google.
This type of stuff is disgusting.
Giphy released a statement. "We do not tolerate any kind of content that promotes racism, sexism, inequality or hate of any kind. We are looking into the matter."
Facebook had no comment. Nickelodeon network had no comment about the controversy.
Also in the image, it had Trayvon Martin with a halo around his head. It was surrounded by the words, "coughing...snorting! And of course, NIGGER came up. Then the George Zimmerman (Spongebob) shoots him again.
When people make these type of gif..
The story came a few days after Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin and other mothers of police and vigilante violence spoke on behalf of Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention.
Looks like doing good for the company was a bad thing. Three Walmart employees are charged in the death of a man who was allegedly shoplifting out of the Lakeland store.
Three Florida Walmart workers are in the freezer pending a cannon firing. They were caught up in a manslaughter case involving an apprehension of an alleged shoplifter.
The Lakeland store was the scene of a tragedy. Three workers were trying to stop a man from stealing nearly $400 worth of DVDs from the Walmart. After he dropped the merchandise, he took off.
The three Nathan Higgins, 35, Crucelis Nunez, 23, and Ruandall Tomko, 58 were taken to county lockup.
They caused grave injury to the victim, Kenneth Edger Wisham, 64. Yeah, the victim had a rap sheet for doing some minor shit, but for all that, he didn't deserve to die.
Kenneth Wisham may have been a thief but he didn't harm anyone. He didn't deserve to die.
In February, Wisham went into the store at dark time to grab and dash. He was stopped by store detective Tomiko and service manager Nunez for a receipt. When Wisham said that he didn't have one on him, he stopped his cart at the door and took off. In the heat of the moment, worker Higgins took off with the two to stop him.
As Wisham was trying to flee, he tripped and they piled on him. I guess he was having trouble breathing after they put him in a restraining lock.
He was soon having trouble trying to breathe.
After the meds took him to the hospital for treatment, he would die of his injuries.
Authorities determined after an investigation that Wisham died of mechanical asphyxiation due to restraint. An autopsy found he had 15 broken ribs sustained during the incident.
Nunez recalled the victim saying, “Let me up!” and “I can’t breathe!” according to an arrest report.
The law along with Walmart provided the tape and the evidence to bring these three to trial.
Walmart often times fears the negative perception of these events offered sympathy to the victim's family and said until the court room matter is resolved, these three will have no place within any Walmart ever.
World News Today send our condolences to the family of Kenneth Wisham.
These three are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The courtroom agitator who has hosted her program for nearly 13 years is about to say goodbye to the network.
Nancy Grace announced that she will leave HLN in October. She had gotten her start on CourtTV before striking it on CNN and then its sister network HLN.
She told the executives that her departure will be on October 13. She will focus on digital content programming.
"This fall, I'll be leaving HLN, my longtime TV home, with a full heart and endless gratitude," Grace said in a statement Thursday. "The network has been my extended family for nearly a dozen years, and I am proud of the amazing work we've produced together."
The host of one of HLN's most popular shows went on to say, "We created an unparalleled platform that gave crime victims a voice and succeeded in helping to find missing people and spotlight unsolved homicides."
Grace, a native of Macon, Georgia, came to her career via a personal tragedy.
She was only 19 when her then-fiance, Keith Griffin, was murdered. After his death, she abandoned her studies in Shakespearean literature to seek a career in law.
After graduating from Mercer Law School and completing an LLM in constitutional and criminal law at New York University, Grace became a special prosecutor for the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Atlanta.
Her reputation handling high-profile cases in Atlanta courts caught the attention of Court TV executives, who put her on air and eventually created "Cochran and Grace," which she co-hosted with Johnnie Cochran of O.J. Simpson trial fame.
She became known as a tough-as-nails advocate for crime victims on her eponymous nightly show.
Her coverage of the Casey Anthony trial, in which Anthony was accused and eventually acquitted of the murder of her young daughter Caylee Anthony, helped make Grace even more of a household name.
The fame also made her a target for parody.
Grace told CNN in 2009 that she didn't mind the "Saturday Night Live" sketches or You Tube videos that poked fun at her.
"It's very flattering that they would think enough to make fun of me," she said. "I want [rapper] Eminem to make fun of me, but I don't think it would be very nice."
Grace, who will leave in the fall when her contract ends, did not share specifics about her next venture. She did say, "I will continue my fight for justice across a variety of traditional and new media, where victims' voices can reach an entirely engaged audience."
In an internal note to employees, CNN executive vice president Ken Jautz celebrated Grace's time at HLN, CNN's sister network.
"Nancy has worked tirelessly on behalf of the missing and exploited for more than a decade on HLN," he wrote. "She gave a voice to the voiceless and we are extremely grateful for her contributions to the network. During her remarkable career at HLN, she led the coverage of two of this century's most talked about and infamous trials, Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias.
Sanford mayor Jeff Triplett was on his way out when two men who jacked him for his whip.
Triplett was standing outside in the early morning hours when three men approached him. They pointed a gun at him and ordered him to give up his car keys, phone and wallet.
They ended up taking advantage of the nice Mercedes, the mayor was riding in.
The law quickly got a hold of 18 year old Jermaine Home and Demarcus Paige, a 17 year old teen.
The third suspect hasn't been caught by the law but it will likely be soon.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty. They will face aggravated robbery, a charge that could land these men in the iron college for LIFE. They also could be facing 15 year bid for having weapons in the pursuit of a violent crime.
Now this happened in the city where George Zimmerman managed to get away with murder.
Zimmerman was following Trayvon Martin in a residential neighborhood when Zimmerman got out of his vehicle. Zimmerman claimed that Trayvon ground and pounded him. He said it was "self defense on the rules of Stand Your Ground". Zimmerman shot Trayvon in the chest killing him instantly.
Zimmerman getting off sparked the Black Lives Matter movement.
To this day, Zimmerman has no apologies. He continues to terrorize Florida.
So here's a poll for you!
Sanford mayor was car-jacked. Suspects were caught. Who takes the blame?
So I am guessing either you're blaming President Barack Obama, Trayvon Martin, #BlackLivesMatter or liberals for the actions of these individuals.
Corey Jones was killed after a confrontation with a Florida police officer in plain clothes. Now the officer is facing a court hearing.
The former Florida police officer who bucked a musician who was stranded on the highway is being indicted on manslaughter by culpable negligence and attempted first degree murder.
These charges could land Nouman Raja in the iron college for LIFE. He is innocent until proven guilty. Given the way things are going in America, I won't hold my breath on him being indicted.
After all, COPS LIVES MATTER.
Cory Jones's life is just as valuable as all the men and women of color killed by those in law enforcement.
Even vigilantes get away with murder. Ask Trayvon Martin's killer George Zimmerman. Despite his history of violence, he managed to skirt a murder charge by standing his ground.
Prosecutors charged the ex-officer with these charges after Raja approached Corey in plain clothes in an unmarked police van.
The junk food media hasn't released the mugshot of the suspect. The suspect Nouman Raja is a former Florida cop.
The Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg said that Raja's actions led to the death of an innocent man. The Palm Beach Gardens Police fired Raja out the cannon after the shooting.
Jones's death raised questions about excessive use of force by law enforcement amid a series of fatal incidents nationally involving police and people of color.
The Jones family was relived that Raja got charged. They believe that the suspect should face a trial and punished for his reckless actions.
"While we understand that nothing can bring back our son, brother and friend, this arrest sends a message that this conduct will not be tolerated from members of law enforcement," says the Jones family in a presser.
How long will it take before Colin Flaherty tries to find dirt on Corey?
How long will it take before that old fart Rush Limbaugh and Softball Hannity runs the story about how Black on Black crime is often ignored by Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson and President Barack Obama.
The gun that killed Trayvon Martin is being auctioned by the controversial Florida man who managed to be acquitted from second degree murder. George Zimmerman is broke and he's begging for attention.
He decides to troll the elections. He's a Trump supporter and he's willing to help the Republican defeat the presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin endorsed Clinton for president. It riled up Zimmerman because he felt that he's being "scapegoated" by the junk food media for getting away with murder.
In February 2012, Zimmerman was former neighborhood volunteer who followed Trayvon Martin through a gated housing complex in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman called 911 to report suspicious activity. The operator told him to wait on assistance. He didn't and went to confront Trayvon.
Apparently the two got into a fight and Zimmerman shot Trayvon in the chest killing him.
The Sanford Police ended up not arresting him and it led to Governor Rick Scott to appoint a special prosecutor to charge Zimmerman. In July 2013, Zimmerman was found not guilty on the charges of murder.
He would end up being a free man but forever tarnished. He had run-ins with the law. He was accused of assaulting his ex-wife and girlfriend.
He openly post offensive crap on social media.
To this day, he doesn't apologize for the incident and urges more Americans to take arms to prevent more "Trayvons". He wants to be a thorn in the hairs of Clinton and #BlackLivesMatter.
"I’m a free American," Zimmerman said of his decision. "I can do what I like with my possessions."
George Zimmerman Is....
This is another example of the pathetic behavior caused by the country's most hated man. A man who believes that his new found celebrity is worth more than gold.
UPDATE: The auction was apparently canceled today. The public outcry managed to get the dealer to end his partnership with Zimmerman.
The feds and Florida state police bust up a teen who pretended to be a doctor. Matter of fact, he was that good, many of his patients headed to his clinic.
Malachi Love-Robinson got international attention for practicing medicine without a license. The FBI, the Florida Department of Health, the Palm Beach County sheriff were watching Robinson.
They knew that he was circulating a practice in West Palm Beach and they had an informant go into the office to get a check up.
The law said that Love-Robinson physically examined and provided medical advice.
As the law led Robinson out of his office in handcuffs, he talked to the junk food media.
"I'm hurt because of the accusations and allegations, but like I said, this is not the first time where I've been accused and I will pursue this, and when I do, you guys will know."
Now that he posted his get out free card, Love-Robinson managed to get a lawyer and clammed up. He said he will not talk to the junk food media without a lawyer present.
He created his own medical practice. The website itself had his practice, ratings from the Better Business Bureau, and labeled him as the president, CEO and founder. He even refers himself as "Dr."
He also has studied the medical lingo of HHPC, and Ph.D. for his business.
Mugshot of phony doctor.
The Department of Health does issue Florida licenses to medical doctors. It does not issue licenses for naturopathic doctors or those who reject the use of medicines.
It's not the first time Love-Robinson has run-ins with the law. After a tip to the law, the Department of Health filed a cease-and-desist notice in October, They warned him to stop practicing medicine without a license.
Love-Robinson described himself as a "well-rounded professional" on the Health Grades website. He also says that he is 25 years old. Wrong, he's still 18 years old and not legally authorized to be a doctor.
"I utilize physiological, psychological and mechanical methods, such as air water, light, heat, earth (to treat patients)." he said on his profile.
The website of his business is called New Birth New Life. He also had employed two other workers who were shocked that he wasn't a real doctor.
Love-Robinson is facing a third-degree felony. He could spent up to 20 years in the iron college if he's found guilty. He is innocent until proven guilty.
Fox's Family Guy takes on the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman controversy.
Peter Griffin, Cleveland Brown, Joe Swanson and Quagmire become neighborhood watch volunteers. They were riled up over Peter's street couch being stolen by thieves. So in order to make Spooner Street more safer, Peter gets the gang firearms and begin patrolling the streets.
One night, Peter sees a person trying to break into Cleveland's home. The person was wearing a hoodie. Peter was armed with a firearm and he gave the individual a warning to stop what he was doing. When the individual flashed something, Peter shoots the individual.
It turns out that Peter shot Cleveland, Jr. The teen was told by Cleveland to go through the window because he didn't want the heat from the home to escape. Cleveland, Jr. said that he had his earbuds in his ear and didn't hear Peter's calls.
Peter was extremely apologetic to Cleveland, Jr. but it didn't sit well with Cleveland and Donna. The Browns would ban Peter and his family from their property on the account that they believe the incident was inspired by racial angst.
The city of Quahog turned on Peter after the Browns accused him of being a racist.
Cleveland, Jr. from The Cleveland Show/Family Guy.
Peter would try to his best to make up to Cleveland. Peter tried to share a Vodka with Cleveland and ended up burning down his home.
Peter would recruit Lois' father Carter Pewterschmidt to help him beat an iron college bid. Carter's lawyers would create the narrative that Cleveland, Jr. instigated the incident and they tried to paint him as a "thug".
Carter's lawyers played on the naive Cleveland, Jr. and ended up putting him in contempt of court.
Peter would have second thoughts about the incident. As the town turns on the Brown family, Peter confronts the townspeople confirming that bias may have contributed to the shooting. Peter admits that he was stupid and reckless in his decision.
In the end of the show, Cleveland and Peter made peace with one another. Cleveland, Jr. on the other hand warned Peter to watch his back because he threatened revenge on him for the whole ordeal.
Seth MacFarlane and Mike Henry. MacFarlane is the executive producer of Fox's Family Guy. Mike Henry with MacFarlane co-executive produced the canceled The Cleveland Show.
The episode completely made note of the controversy with George Zimmerman.
Zimmerman was the Florida neighborhood watch member who called 911 on a suspicious person walking through his gated community. He was warned by the dispatchers to not follow the individual.
Zimmerman ignored it and went on to confront the individual. They get into a fight and all of sudden, a gunshot. There lies a person bleeding from a gunshot to the chest and a bloodly Zimmerman.
It turns out that the individual was Trayvon Martin. He was heading to his father home wearing a hoodie in the rain. Zimmerman claimed he had to use self-defense and cited the "stand your ground" law that Florida passed.
Zimmerman was at first let go on premise that he used self-defense. It didn't become a criminal case until the state hired a special prosecutor to see if Zimmerman's deliberate ignoring of a dispatcher may have contributed to the fatal encounter.
Family Guy takes on the Sanford controversy.
Zimmerman would be indicted on second degree murder. He would face trial in June 2013. During his trial, many in the junk food media were devoted to making the case about Trayvon Martin and not Zimmerman.
Many conservatives were trying to tarnish the image of Trayvon instead of Zimmerman.
Zimmerman was eventually cleared of murder. He would be set free to create more havoc.
The president spoke on this by saying "If he had a son, he'll be like Trayvon". Those words became a rally call for the #BlackLivesMatter movement and the rise of concern trolling by conservatives.
Now every time an unarmed Black person is killed by law enforcement or a vigilante conservatives will make the case against the individual. They will bring up "Black on whatever" crime and say that President Barack Obama's policies destroy the Black community.
It seems like Family Guy played it well.
Seth MacFarlane plays Peter Griffin, Quagmire, Stewie, Carter Pewterschmidt, and Brian.
Mike Henry plays Cleveland Brown and Ralio Tubbs.
Kevin Michael Richardson plays Cleveland, Jr. and Cleveland Brown on occasions.
Corey Jones was a gifted drummer. On a late night, his vehicle broke down. He waited for a tow truck. He would never make it home. According to the law, he had an altercation with a plain clothes officer. The officer shot him six times.
If it wasn't for DeRay McKesson, Bree Newsome and Shaun White, you wouldn't hear about the story of a Florida man who was gunned down by an undercover police officer.
This undercover police officer would put slugs in the man. His superiors confirmed that the undercover police officer in an unmarked vehicle didn't flash a badge. But they also said that the victim pointed a gun at the officer.
The victim had no criminal record. He had a conceal carry permit. He carried the permit in case he may have been robbed of his properties. A legal Second Amendment right to carry a firearm in his vehicle without prosecution. The prosecution for have legal right to carry, death.
His name was Corey Jones. A 31 year old, brother, grandson, nephew, musician and child of God.
Corey was a popular church drummer who a concealed carry permit holder. In Florida, you have a legal right to have a firearm with a permit.
The Jones family disputes that Corey would have pulled his gun on an officer, had he known it was an officer. "I raised my children … to respect law," said Clinton Jones, Sr. a reverend.
Jones "would not ever, ever, ever" pull a gun on a police officer, according to Clinton Jones Jr., who called his brother "the happiest person ever."
All we can go by according to the law, the officer fired for his safety. The officer thought he saw a threat when he exited his unmarked cruiser.
Now the Florida state attorney and the U.S. Department of Justice are involved in this.
The family of the victim hired Benjamin Crump. The high profile attorney involved in Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown has gotten involved in this.
The officer who shot Corey is in the freezer.
"Are people going to come and support Corey's right to have his gun and protect himself?" Crump asked.
A crowd of several hundred on Thursday converged outside the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department to present a "rally for answers." While there was frustration about the Jones shooting, the crowd largely kept positive with a mix of numerous church verses recited and songs.
Corey was broken down on Interstate 95 exit ramp near PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. It was a dark night and Corey was concerned about his safety. He had just got off the phone with his brother.
During a period between 2:45 and 3:30 am, the undercover officer approached his vehicle.
The undercover officer who wore jeans, a t-shirt, and a baseball cap. The officer Palm Beach Gardens Police Officer Nouman Raja approached Corey.
There was no dash camera or flashing lights.
Corey Jones's family speaks out. They demand answers to why he was killed by a plain clothes officer.
There was an altercation and six shots. Corey was killed on sight. Now the officer is in the freezer pending a grand jury decision on whether to indict him. Raja hired a lawyer and also got his police union backing him up. The union will try to defend the actions of Raja.
If this become a national story, guess what happens! The junk food media will cover it and then the partisan agitators will debate it. Then we will have concern trolls try to justify the officer's call.
And here we go again, the conservative agitators and concern trolls blame President Barack Obama and Black Lives Matter for Black on _______ crime.
While with Ferguson and Baltimore erupted in violence in reaction to Michael Brown and Freddie Gray, the family stated that they want peace. The family is clearly upset over this. They understand that people are upset over this. They don't want people to use this a rally call for racially motivated violence.
His brother Clinton Jones Jr. on Thursday sought to temper any racial implications in the shooting, saying he and his brother "don't see color."
"All lives matter," Jones Jr. said, adding that he meant "no disrespect" to the Black Lives Matter movement. "This is not a black thing."
His grandfather Rev. Sylvester Banks Sr., Jones' grandfather and a pastor at Bible Church of God in Boynton Beach. He offered the most prolific speech of the day.
Cory had no criminal history.
He told the crowd that he taught Jones to obey and respect the law as one of his 14 children. If the officer was found to have used excessive force, he urged police to disclose that information. "If you try and hide a corrupt person, you become corrupt," he said.
His message to police locally and internationally was to rid themselves of "bad apples."
Something tells me that Corey and his family were Black Republicans. Where's the outrage from the likes of that annoying conservative agitator?
Did you know we had a handful of gun crimes in the United States this week. Some managed to get national attention. Others were reported on the local news. The most notable was the death of a little girl. She was shot by a deranged driver in a road rage incident in Albuquerque.
Also we had a members of law enforcement shot this week. Three.
One officer in New York City.
One officer in Albuquerque.
One officer in rural Arkansas.
This week President Barack Obama was asked about Black Lives Matter. He said that the meaning of Black Lives Matter isn't solely focused on Black lives. He told a group of people at the Marshall Forum that the activists have legitimate concerns.
The Black Lives Matter activists have always said that "ALL LIVES MATTER." Their message is basically bring attention to racial disparities between Blacks and the law.
President Barack Obama dismissed the chatter from the likes of that asshole Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke.
"So let me just suggest this: I think everybody understands all lives matter. Everybody wants strong, effective law enforcement. Everybody wants their kids to be safe when they're walking to school. Nobody wants to see police officers who are doing their job fairly hurt. Everybody understand it's a dangerous job," said the president.
"I think the that reason that the organizers used the phrase "black lives matter" was not because they were suggesting nobody else's life matters. Rather, what they were suggesting was there is a specific problem that is happening in the African-American community that's not happening in other communities. And that is a legitimate issue that we've got to address." he added.
World News Today send our condolences to the family of Corey Jones, Albuquerque officer Daniel Webster, NYPD officer Randolph Holder, and Illiana "Lilly" Rose Garcia. We also send our condolences to the nameless victims of gun violence.
The good guy with a gun argument was thrown out the window when a woman took a theft situation into her own hands.
Auburn Hills, Michigan police are determining whether a woman may face charges for intervening in a shoplifting at a Detroit-area Home Depot. She observed the loss prevention detective try to stop two shoplifters from exiting the store. She has a concealed carry license.
When the shoplifter and his getaway driver got into their vehicle, the woman pulled out her piece and shot at the tires. The shoplifters weren't armed and they didn't hurt anyone in their theft of products.
They took off with over $1,000 worth of power tools. They're still at large.
Gun training experts say that if you're not in immediate danger, its recommended that you don't use a firearm in the public. The purpose of being a concealed carry holder is to be concealed until it's proven that a threat has occurred and the need to use a firearm is necessary.
Woman using a conceal carry purse.
“It’s my worst nightmare as a [concealed pistol license] instructor,” Doreen Hankins told the Detroit Free Press. “You have to know the entire situation before you pull that handgun out. And I don’t see that a shoplifter at Home Depot fills any of those criteria.”
Hankins and other firearms instructors told the newspaper that concealed weapon license holders should only pull their guns if someone is in imminent danger of death or serious injury, including a sexual assault. Those who draw their pieces too quickly and frivolously fire at people can face serious felony charges, from the reckless use of a firearm to assault.
All three instructors agreed the woman had overreacted.
“In that situation personally, there’s no way I would be shooting my gun,” Dawn Martin, another instructor, told the Free Press.
“None of it makes sense,” Hankins said. “Even if it were law enforcement, they wouldn’t do that.”
“You are not a police officer,” she added, referring to concealed gun license holders. “You are not a person out there protecting the public at large.”
Yet, that is how Americans increasingly see things.
Since the 2012 Newtown, Conn., massacre of 26 people, including 20 school children, the percentage of Americans who think gun ownership could “protect people from becoming victims of crime” has gone up by nine points, according to a 2014 Pew Research Poll.
Many in law enforcement recommend that you don't intervene in a theft situation.
The shoplifters could have been armed.
A spokesman for the Auburn Hills Police Department told The Post that police had met with prosecutors on Wednesday to discuss the issue, but had not yet announced a decision.
Even some Second Amendment enthusiasts conceded that the woman had made concealed-carry permit holders look bad, although they argued she was an exception that should be dealt with as such.
Zimmerman (right) returns to the spotlight. He teams up with a gun store that bans Muslims and Obama supporters. He paints a confederate flag painting. He blast the president in the wake of the tragedy in Roanoke, VA.
I really must have been tired. I could of sworn that an infamous figure in the Black Lives Matter movement returns back to the spotlight.
In the wake of the shooting deaths of WDBJ's Alison Parker and Adam Ward, the Sanford, FL man who killed Trayvon Martin speaks out against BLM and President Barack Obama.
It seems like the ever temperamental George Zimmerman goes to the social media to do a victory lap.
He managed to survive a near fatal shooting. He managed to avoid the iron college in the death of Trayvon, the physical assault of his wife Shellie, his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe and numerous run-ins with the legal woes.
According to the junk food media, this was the alleged account of Zimmerman. He went off about the president's "rush to judgement" on gun control. He blamed Black Lives Matter, and event went as far to throw a racial insult at the president.
White woman & man get murdered by a Black P.O.S. 8 hours later B. Hussein Obama the divider still says NOTHING. pic.twitter.com/SA6h8UzKsr
Remember that Zimmerman has no regrets for killing an unarmed Trayvon Martin. He threatens people online and public. This piece of shit is daring the public to take him down.
Added a Chicago cop is under investigation for unprofessional conduct that could put him in sensitivity training. The officer pulled over a car with black men inside, and during a heated confrontation, one of them said, “We don’t trust y’all. You heard about Mike Brown.”
The officer in the video responded, “Mike Brown deserved it.” The man shot back, “Mike Brown should've shot his ass in the face.”
The Chicago PD got wind of the video and, according to CBS Chicago, opened an internal affairs investigation. A spokesman said, “CPD prides itself on fostering productive relationships with communities to help make Chicago safer. The comments in this video are troubling and do not represent the views of this department.”
Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, John Crawford and Trayvon Martin were killed by law enforcement. Their names became symbolic with the Black Lives Matter Movement.
We reflect on the need for better policing in the wake of three high profile incidents where the unarmed or unintended were gunned down by the law.
July 17 - Eric Garner was a father of six who lived in Staten Island. He was accused of selling cigarettes on a corner when the NYPD confronted him. While being filmed on camera, one of the officer placed a restraining hold around his neck. Eric would utter the words "I Can't Breathe".
As they take him down on the ground, the law was shocked to find out he wasn't breathing. They would call for an emergency crew. He would die at a local hospital.
This officers Daniel Pantaleo and Justin Damico were let off the hook. The prosecutor Daniel M. Donovan, Jr. found that the officers didn't do anything that caused Eric's death.
Donovan, a Republican went on to become a U.S. Representative in a special election.
The family was awarded $6 million in wrongful death lawsuit.
August 5 - John Crawford was a father of two. He lived in Hamilton, Ohio. He was shopping in Walmart in Beavercreek, a suburb outside of Dayton. He was on the phone when he picked up an opened air rifle. While on surveillance camera, you see him walking through the aisles on the phone with the air rifle, A man calls 911 claiming that John was pointing a AR 15 at shoppers. Beavercreek police arrive on the scene. They enter through the garden center and without proper warning fired two shots at John. John yelled to the officers it's not a real gun.
As they take him down to the ground, the law was shocked to see he wasn't holding a real rifle. They would call for an emergency crew. He would die at a local hospital.
The officer who fired his weapon Sean Williams is in the freezer. He was let off the hook when the Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine found that the officer did nothing wrong. The grand jury said that even though Ohio is an open carry state, John caused his own death.
DeWine is a Republican who sides with the law on most issues.
The family sued Williams, DeWine, Beavercreek and Walmart for wrongful death.
August 9 - Michael Brown was a teenager who lived in Ferguson, Missouri, a suburb outside of St. Louis. He was walking down the street when an officer stopped him. The officer claimed that Michael was acting menacing. There was a struggle and the officer fired his weapon. Out of twelve shots, six of them hit Michael.
As the officer takes him down, he realized that Michael was unarmed. He would call for backup and then an emergency crew. Michael died on the scene.
The officer at first said that he stopped Michael for being in the street. But he would change his story saying that he was told of a robbery and the suspects were nearby. Michael was on surveillance allegedly stealing a cigarillo from QuikTrip.
This event sparked unrest. The QuikTrip that Michael visited was burned down.
The grand jury found that the officer Darren Wilson didn't commit a criminal act and he was spared trial.
That launched another night of unrest. The rioting cost millions, people were injured.
Michael Brown's family is suing Wilson and Ferguson.
Wilson would resign from the force and go into hiding.
You notice that these events happened one year ago. These events have sparked the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Black Lives Matter is an American activist grassroots movement that can be traced back to the July 2013 acquittal of George Zimmerman in the Florida shooting death of African-American teen Trayvon Martin.
It received fresh impetus from the 2014 shooting of Michael Brown, an African-American teen, and the death of Eric Garner, as well as the acquittals of both of the officers who killed them. The Black Lives Matter movement also speaks out and organizes against police brutality against African-Americans in the United States.
Some of the unarmed African-Americans who died at the hands of law enforcement have had their deaths protested by the movement, including Tamir Rice, Eric Harris, Walter Scott, and Freddie Gray (which sparked the 2015 Baltimore protests).
The movement was co-founded by three black activists: Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi.
The shooting of Walter Scott by a white policeman was recorded by a bystander, who contacted a local activist involved with Black Lives Matter; they, in turn, contacted Scott's family to take possession of the video. Soon after the video was released to the public, the officer was arrested and charged with murder. The case is pending.
When you look at how many officer involved shootings in which lead to the death of unarmed suspects, you might want to question why do this stuff continue to happen despite the outcry from Trayvon Martin.
So many names in the news being killed by gun violence.
Shame we're still not making progress on gun control. The United State leads in gun violence.
Over 4,000 people were injured by gun violence. About 2,400 of them died because of gun violence.
Gun violence is more of a threat than terrorism. The discussion is often muted because of Republicans, some spineless Democrats and the NRA.
I am a gun owner and I am a voter. But seriously, we need to do something about this.
When will the next shooting occur. Will the junk food media follow this shooting like they've done with John Crawford, Michael Brown and Tamir Rice?
When will we hold those responsible in law enforcement for unintended deaths of unarmed citizens such as Eric Garner and Sandra Bland?
When will we finally recognized that everyone killed by gun violence matters?
World News Today send our condolences to the families of Eric Garner, John Crawford and Michael Brown. We send our condolences to everyone who died in gun violence.
