Yeah, the pearl clutchers. Just think if someone decided to post a sign off the highway saying that "If Trump Shitted On Himself, Republicans Would Give Him A Parade!"
The need to return to civility is one of the most challenging thing for Americans.
I am just a guilty as the next person when it comes to attacking folks. I literally name Fox News personality Sean Hannity, "Softball Hannity" as a jab. He is so fucking annoying and he a tool.
He has no moral decency and is a raging hypocrite. He lands on my list of people who will fall from grace.
The agitator will join Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh in the dustbin of history. They will go down as American pop culture's most controversial figures.
Now Republicans are still trying to grasp to the reality that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in charge.
The President and Vice President won the election handily. Biden won the popular vote and electoral college without question. But to Donald J. Trump, who I refer as Washed Up 45, he believes the election was "stolen" from him.
The former president continues to push the dangerous narrative that the election was stolen because of early voting and mail-in voting. During the height of the global pandemic, the former president and his allies were concerned that mail-in voting would damage his chances of reelection.
Democrats were far more careful when it comes to dealing with a pandemic than Republicans. The former president did not encourage his supporters to vote by mail. He also didn't encourage safety when it came to the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
He lost the election on many fronts but the main reason why he lost was the handling of the pandemic.
Well it appears the Republican Party hasn't learned anything post-insurrection. Over in Calvert County, Maryland, there was a billboard posted on a local road telling motorists that Biden and Harris have shit for brains.
It reads: "Don’t Blame Trump! You Are Stuck With These Two Shitheads!!! From All Your Deplorables in Calvert County."
It also includes cartoon-like drawings of the president and vice president's heads on top of poop emojis.
The sign faces northbound traffic on Route 4 at Bowie Shop Road in Huntingtown.
A statement posted on the Calvert County Government Facebook page explains that the county "Cannot regulate sign content based on the Supreme Court case decision Reed v. Town of Gilbert (2015). The Calvert County local sign regulations are based on location, materials and size, not verbiage. Regulating any content based on the Supreme Court decision would be illegal."
County Board of Commissioners President Earl “Buddy” Hance reiterated this at Tuesday’s meeting.
"There is nothing that we as county government can do for language that's on a legal sign," Hance said. "This country was built on the foundation of free speech, and sometimes we like what that free speech says and sometimes we don't."
Despite this, the Calvert County Democratic Central Committee is condemning the message and demanding it be taken down immediately.
In its own statement posted to Facebook, the committee's chair, Jeanette Flaim, calls the billboard "deeply disturbing."
"This does not reflect the values of our County, regardless of party. Our county is home to a myriad of families who must drive by this on their way from school or work. Our county welcomes visitors from far and wide. Parents should not have to explain something so vile to their small children. And it certainly shouldn’t be what our visitors remember us for," Flaim said.
Another message posted on the same billboard went viral online in 2018. It read: "Hey Liberals Better Get Your Guns If You Try To Impeach President Trump." The tagline made it clear it was put up by the same group of so-called "deplorables," a reference to supporters of Washed Up 45.
Just so you don't forget.... Democratic House candidate Nina Turner had once said that voting for Joe Biden is like "eating a half a bowl of shit. It's still shit."
I am certain this billboard will make me more inclined to oppose her bid for Congress. My focus is literally to mind my business. However attention on the political agitators of the left and right has made the country more polarizing and extreme.
The former president has change politics forever. His behavior has turned our country into a hot mess.
Your friends and family members who supported him are more dangerous than you know!
