Tim Ryan: [The GOP] Obsessed With Distractions!

Tim Ryan is considering a Senate bid.

BLACK LIVES MATTER

PROTECT BLACK WOMEN!

WEAR A DAMN MASK! SAVE A LIFE! TRUST SCIENCE AND MEDICAL EXPERTS! THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC IS FUCKING REAL!

HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE NOW! VOTE THESE DUMBASS LAWMAKERS OUT OF OFFICE! STOP SUPPORTING ALL FORMS OF EXTREMISM!

GOOGLE'S BLOGGER IS STRAIGHT UP TRASH! THE BLOGGER INTERFACE IS A TOTAL DISASTER AND IT'S RIDICULOUS!

WHITE PRIVILEGE IS REAL!

YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!

Yesterday, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) laid into the Republican Party for running on distractions instead of working with Democrats to help the working class. The Democratic lawmaker is hinting at running for the open seat being vacated by Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH).
Ryan, who represents parts of Akron, Youngstown and Warren is a moderate lawmaker.

While the House is revamping the Senate's passed version of the American Rescue Plan, Ryan is calling out the Republicans for worrying about Mr. Potato Head, Dr. Seuss, transgender girls playing sports and Pepe Le Pew.

"Heaven forbid we pass something that's going to help the damn workers in the United States of America! Heaven forbid we tilt the balance that has been going in the wrong direction for 50 years. We talk about pensions. You complain! We talk about the minimum wage increase, you complain! We talk about giving them the right to organize, you complain! But if we're passing a tax cut here, you'd be all getting in line voting yes for it! Now stop talking about Dr. Seuss, and start working with us on behalf of the American workers."

Republicans are on this culture war nonsense. The latest de jour is Republicans being riled up over pressure campaigns to remove offensive movies, television shows, cartoon characters, books, statues and songs.

The American Rescue Plan will be President Joe Biden's first major accomplishment. He will sign the legislation within the week.

The far-right has been on this kick about cancel culture.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) ridiculously claimed that "woke supremacy" is equal to "white supremacy."
Tim Ryan hopes to capitalize off his rant.

For one, there's no such thing as woke supremacy. Two, the very fact that the Republicans are resorting back to the same old tired playbook to rile up white voters is the very definition of why the Republican Party is catering to white supremacy.

We have over 550,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus. Republicans are trying to reopen their states despite the vaccinations not being fully distributed to Americans. They are not concerned about the mutating variants that could be resistant to the coronavirus.

Republicans want to use immigrants as a wedge issue to pressure blue collar white voters to support their anti-immigration policies.

Republicans want to oppose voting rights and police reform because they lose the message of being the party of "law & order." They rather scare law enforcement and suburban women with claim that Black Lives Matter and Antifa are more dangerous than far-right extremist groups like the Klan, the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys.

Republicans want us to believe Israel is right no matter what inhumane things they've done. They want to make Jewish voters and Christian voters support their wars in the Middle East, their policies to make a national religion, and punish Muslims for having the right to worship in peace. They want to look the other way when Catholic priest are molesting children just because they cry at the sight of and get autographs from Pope Francis.

Republicans are the party of stupid. Obviously, they don't trust a free and fair press, science and medical workers, nature's deadly events and man-made crises.

Ryan could be squaring off against Dr. Amy Acton in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

The Republicans are looking towards disgraced Ohio treasurer Josh Mandel.

Ohio is considered SOLID REPUBLICAN in the 2022 Midterm. It will take a strong showing from Democratic leaning cities like Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, Toledo and Dayton to help the Democrats secure the state.

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Ryan and three Democratic House members won their elections. The state heavily favors Republicans and redistricting will likely cost Ohio a district. Ohio redistricting is extremely partisan.
