A hesitant governor and his refusal to issue a mask mandate and close his state could setback the progress the U.S. set in trying to curb the coronavirus.
The state of Florida is the safe haven for selfish citizens, politicians, entertainers and elitists to parade around their maskless freedom.
The coronavirus has five variants and we are approaching 600,000 deaths despite the vaccine rollout.

Officials are imposing an emergency 8pm to 6am curfew for Miami Beach after hard-partying spring break crowds trashed restaurants, brawled in the streets and gathered by the thousands without masks or social distancing.
At a news conference, officials blamed the overwhelming and out-of-control spring break crowd for the curfew, which took effect on Saturday night in South Beach, one of the nation's top party spots.
It's unclear how long this emergency curfew will remain in effect, the Interim City Manager Raul Aguila told the Miami Herald that he recommends keeping it until April 12.

Tourism is big in Florida. The state generates most of its revenue from vacationers. The state also has a rapid population growth. It is the third most populated state. It has nearly 29 million residents.
Florida's governor Ron DeSantis has touted the state as a place for anti-maskers. The state has generated revenue for it's anti-mask stance. His pro-business stance allows the state to carry on as normal despite the pandemic rising in the state.
Washed Up 45 and his family migrated to Florida after his loss to President Joe Biden. The far-right had hosted their latest events there. CPAC was held there after they moved from National Harbor, Maryland.

Americans who move to Florida could overwhelm the health and resources. On top of that, the state is literally sinking. Climate change has risen the oceans. The hurricanes and tornadoes are going to be more dangerous.
Spring break has became an utter headache for Miami, Miami Beach Fort Lauderdale, Clearwater, Daytona, Fort Walton, Palm Beach and Key West.
Miami Beach seen fights, mass shootings and utter ignorance. Many of the people aren't wearing masks.
It kind of bugs me that many of the people who are getting arrested for violating this curfew are people of color. It's often white men and women who often feel like they're invincible.
The coronavirus has killed more people of color. But I guess you can't fix stupid and thus we're in this mess.
