Two teenage suspects killed three men in a shooting at a San Diego mosque before killing themselves a few blocks away, San Diego’s police chief Scott Wahl said at a news conference Monday.

A mosque security guard was among the dead in what is being described as a hate crime at the Islamic Center of San Diego, Wahl said.

Police raced Monday to catch an armed teenage runaway before he and another teen opened fire on a San Diego mosque, killing three men and then themselves.

About two hours after one boy’s mother called to warn police that he had run away with her weapons and vehicle, shots rang out at the Islamic Center of San Diego, and a mosque security guard and two others were killed, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl said.

The gunmen, ages 17 and 18, were found dead of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds, the chief added.

The shooting is being investigated as a hate crime, he added.

Search for suspects began hours before attack

Wahl said the mother, who called the police around 9:40 a.m., had described her son as suicidal. The search for the boy took on more urgency as police learned that he was dressed in camouflage and with an acquaintance — facts that were not consistent with someone about to die by suicide, the chief said.

Police used automated license plate readers to try to find the teens, dispatched authorities to a nearby mall and alerted Madison High School, where at least one suspect was a student, Wahl said. Officers were still interviewing the mother about places the teens might be when they received reports of a shooting at the largest mosque in San Diego County.

As police arrived, gunshots rang out a few blocks away where a landscaper was shot at but uninjured. The shooters were soon found dead in a vehicle stopped in the middle of a road nearby, Wahl said.

Suspects engaged in ‘generalized hate rhetoric’

There was no specific threat made against the the Islamic Center of San Diego but authorities found evidence that the suspects engaged in “generalized hate rhetoric,” Wahl said. He declined to immediately share more details.

The mosque’s director, Imam Taha Hassane, said the center focused on interfaith relations, and that a group of non-Muslims had been touring the mosque earlier Monday to learn about Islam.

The white mosque is surrounded by homes, apartments and strip malls with Middle Eastern restaurants and markets. It is home to the Al Rashid School, which offers courses in Arabic language, Islamic studies and the Quran for students ages 5 and up, according to its website. No students were harmed, Hassane said, and aerial TV footage showed the school children holding hands as they were led out of the parking lot surrounded by police vehicles.

Security guard remembered as ‘heroic’

Wahl said one was a mosque security guard who “played a pivotal role” in preventing the attack from being more deadly.

“It’s fair to say his actions were heroic,” the chief said at a news conference. 

“Undoubtedly he saved lives today.”

The Islamic Center of San Diego is the largest mosque in San Diego County.

Will they call this an act of terrorism?

Cain Clark was attending school virtually and was on track to graduate this month, a spokesperson for the San Diego Unified School District said.

Clark, 17, never attended classes at Madison High School, about 1 mile from the Islamic Center, but he lived in its attendance zone and could have attended classes there had he chosen to, according to spokesperson James Canning.

The other shooter is 18 year old, Caleb Velasquez.

The person with easy access to firearms should be the only answer. Alas, the far right is hoping for this to be a person they can scapegoat as their next de jour of outrage. Anyone can get firearm in the United States. Even, people who are non U.S. citizens are allowed to obtain firearms. 

The real issue is not just guns, it's white men, white women tears and white boys. They are losing their goddamn minds. Inspired by loneliness, politics, job loss, social media trends, endless perceptions of others, the lack of opportunities (besides joining the military) and the need to be ahead of everyone else is what drives these fools to commit endless chaos.

If the suspect is white, they will give the shooter a glaring profile. If the suspect is not white, expect the far right to claim its the left or accused a certain nationality, race, religion or sexuality the cause of mass shootings.

White privilege also santizes the white shooters. Already we are getting details of the mass shooters. Glaring profiles of these white mass shooters to paint them as unfortunate circumstances. Ignoring the fact, these terrorists had signs of potential danger but their families thought it was just noise.

The shooter's mother said he was going to carry out an attack. She could face criminal charges for allowing him to be in easy access of firearms. 

That restraining order doesn't mean much to a deranged individual. It's a trigger!

I wish things could have turned out well! But unfortunately, a shooter never abides to a court order!

How can a piece of paper protect a victim when it's not reliant on stopping the perpetrator (from causing harm)?

The real issue is gun violence. Not comedians. Not activists. Not Black men. Not immigrants. Not Muslims. Not transgender Americans. Not video games. Not movies. Not rap music. Not the left.

A man made crisis that can be solved if these incompetent politicians and media agitators stop making excuses for the continued gun violence epidemic. Prayers are just words and speeches. Instead offering words, how about policies?

The United States is downsizing in democracy and freedom.

A bullet does not care about color. We all bleed red and so many lives are lost to gun violence. Republicans offer no solutions other than "thoughts and prayers", "send them back" with a touch of "lock em up."

I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases. 

The shooters were allegedly motivated by hate.

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.

According to the far right: White shooters are always mentally ill or lone wolves. The far right believes they should receive some sympathy for their crimes. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals who deserve lengthy time in the iron college or death. Gay and transgender shooters are active groomers who want to be pedophiles on children. Muslim shooters are terrorists who should be surveiled or deported. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants and they should be deported. According to the far right, almost all white [or non-white] mass shooters are registered Democrats [leftist or some progressive activist] because they have liked or done one thing common to the politics of the left. Of course, they often share or post disinformation by using the ridiculous "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. The far right says a white person should "protect" themselves from thugs, terrorists or protesters. They believe the use of firearms are "justified" if they are protesting or even instigating a conflict. The far right believes if a shooter is a police officer, an active military member, a veteran or a citizen who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens in urban communities, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black. Even if the evidence turns out that the shooter has alignment with conservative causes or Republicans, the far right dismisses it as a hoax or a plot to demonize the MAGA movement.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms.

You want the U.S. to improve the immigration process. You want the U.S. lawmakers stop dehumanizing human beings. You want no more wars in the Middle East. You want the U.S. to prove to the world its a beacon of freedom. You want our American military and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents out of our cities, the Middle East and every fucking international conflict in the world. You want legislation to focus on lowering the cost of rent, lowering the cost of food, lowering the cost of hospital visits, improving healthcare and building relationships with other nations. Let them know that you tired of being lectured about oppresive regimes overseas when the very people running our state and federal government are doing the same in real time. Let them know that you will not tolerate a government shutdown which affects federal services for Americans in need or in support of services. Let them know that pulling out of the UN Human Rights Organization, World Health Organization and Paris Climate Accords will put the U.S. in danger when catastrophic event happen. We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire, a weapons embargo, sanctions and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more domestic or foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists and special interest groups.

The former Los Angeles Police Detective who perjuried himself in the People of California v. OJ Simpson trial, dubbed the "Trial of the Century" has passed away. He was a controversial figure that had a program on Fox. 

Mark Fuhrman, the infamous former detective who investigated the OJ Simpson home for evidence linking the former football star and media personality to the deaths of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman died in Idaho.

He was 74.

Fuhrman’s death was confirmed Monday by Lynette Acebedo, the chief deputy coroner in Kootenai County, Idaho.

“There will be no other information provided through this office,” Acebedo said in a brief statement.

Born Feb. 5, 1952, Fuhrman was an obscure homicide detective who became instantly famous after he found a bloody glove on Simpson’s property the night of the 1994 slayings.

But the testimony of Fuhrman, who was white, was called into question during the double murder trial when Simpson’s defense team raised the prospect of racial bias.

Under cross-examination, Fuhrman testified that he had never made racial slurs. But his credibility took a hit when the defense produced recordings of him making racist statements and using the N-word to describe suspects.

When Simpson was acquitted after a contentious trial that was closely followed by the public, Fuhrman was blamed in part for the verdict.

Simpson, a former NFL star and actor, was later found civilly liable for wrongful death in the double homicide case and ordered to pay $33 million to Goldman’s family — damages that were never paid in full before he died in 2024.

Soon after the trial, Fuhrman pleaded no contest to perjury charges and was placed on probation. He retired from the police department and moved to Sandpoint, Idaho.

Fuhrman apologized publicly for using racial slurs in the past and insisted repeatedly that he didn’t try to frame Simpson with the bloody glove.

He went on to become a TV and radio commentator and wrote the book “Murder in Brentwood” about the killings.

Later, Fuhrman delved into another sensational murder, that of 15-year-old Martha Moxley, in his true crime book “Murder in Greenwich.” He named Michael Skakel, a cousin to the fabled Kennedy family, as Moxley’s likely murderer.

Skakel’s conviction for killing Moxley was overturned in 2013.

But Fuhrman’s discredited testimony at the Simpson trial came back to haunt him in 2024 when he was barred from law enforcement under a new California law directed at officers who act criminally.

Fuhrman was married and divorced three times and is survived by a son and a daughter, according to The New York Times.

President Donald J. Trump has announced that U.S. and Nigeria have conducted an operation that killed a top resistance leader in Nigeria.

Trump announced Friday evening that U.S. and Nigerian military forces had killed Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, a leader of the Islamic State group, in a "meticulously planned and very complex mission."

Trump described al-Minuki as the Islamic State's second-in-command globally and "the most active terrorist in the world." 

"He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "With his removal, ISIS's global operation is greatly diminished."

Abu-Bilal al-Minuki was killed in U.S. drone strikes. Again, we are told they are terrorists. These individuals are protecting their land, resources and culture from U.S., European and Israeli imperialism.

The Nigerian president's office also confirmed the operation, and said that "early assessments confirm the elimination" of al-Minuki. "Several of his lieutenants" were also killed, the office said. 

The operation took place at al-Minuki's compound on Lake Chad Basin, the Nigerian president's office said. Nigeria's defense department described it as a "meticulously planned and highly coordinated counterterrorism operation."  

A native of Nigeria, al-Minuki was described by the U.S. State Department in 2023 as a leader of the Islamic State, or ISIS, in Africa's Sahel region. At the time, he served as a senior official in one of the Islamic State's General Directorate of Provinces offices, which "provide operational guidance and funding around the world," according to the State Department.

Israel claims they killed a senior Hamas leader.

Izz al-Din al-Haddad was the head of Hamas' military wing, the Israel Defense Forces said in a news release. The IDF said he "was involved in the holding of many Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity" amid the war in Gaza and "surrounded himself with hostages to prevent his elimination." 

Haddad joined Hamas during its early establishment, according to the IDF. He maintained close ties with Hamas leadership before his death, and recently operated "to rehabilitate Hamas' military wing capabilities," the Israeli army said. He was one of the last surviving architects of the October 7 attacks, the IDF said. The terror attacks left 1,200 dead and saw over 250 people taken captive in Gaza.

They also threatened to sue the New York Times after Nicholas Kristof wrote a piece from Palestinians hostages. The president threatened to pull his endorsement of Boebert (R-CO) on Saturday, as she campaigned with Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) ahead of a tough reelection fight.

Trump railed against Boebert in a pair of back-to-back posts on Truth Social, calling her “weak-minded” and asking if there was “anyone interested” in challenging her in the GOP primary for Colorado’s 4th congressional district.

“Boebert is campaigning for the Worst ‘Republican’ Congressman in the History of our Country, Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, and anybody who can be that dumb deserves a good Primary fight!” Trump wrote in one post.

“Even though I long ago endorsed Boebert, if the right person came along, it would be my Honor to withdraw that Endorsement, and endorse a good and proper alternative,” he said.

Boebert opted to run in the 4th District in 2024, hoping to avoid an expensive and crowded House race taking shape in her previous seat. The seat, which covers the easternmost part of the state, is rated solidly Republican by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report.

The filing deadline for Boebert’s seat was in March, and information from the Colorado Secretary of State’s office indicates she is running unopposed in the June 30 GOP primary.  

Boebert, a hardline conservative, has historically been one of Trump’s strongest supporters in Congress, but their relationship has experienced some friction in recent months.

She voiced frustration with the president in December after he vetoed legislation aimed at completing a project that would have delivered water to 50,000 people in southeastern Colorado.

She has also aligned herself with Massie, being one of four Republicans to back a discharge petition on Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna’s (D-CA) bill that forced the Justice Department to release millions of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

And this is how he treats he most loyalist allies.

“Yes, I saw the President’s post. No I’m not mad or offended,” Boebert wrote on the social platform X on Saturday in response to Trump’s criticism.

“I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie. I was, and will be, America First, America Always, and MAGA,” she added.

Massie, whom Trump labeled in a separate post as “a disloyal, ungracious, and sanctimonious FOOL,” is staring down a Tuesday election expected to test Republican voters’ appetite for a congressman willing to publicly defy the president.

Boebert and Sen Rand Paul (R-KY), another Republican often at odds with Trump, were in Massie’s district to stump for him on Saturday. Trump’s displeasure with that was clear.

“Word is that Rand Paul and Lauren Boebert, two very difficult, and highly unreasonable, Republican Votes, are right now in the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, which I won by 31 points, parading around like fools for the Worst “Republican” Congressman in the History of our Party!” Trump wrote.

Massie is facing a primary challenge from retired Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein, who Trump described as “loyal, and MAGA all the way.”

Trump has also had anger with Cassidy after he sunk Casey Means, an ally of Trump and Secretary of Health And Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Cassidy’s loss further cements Trump’s grip on the GOP as the president looks to exact revenge against Republicans who have crossed him in the past. And it also means another Republican who voted to convict Trump during his 2021 impeachment will not be returning to Congress next year.

John Fleming felt betrayed by Trump.

He is a licensed physician and considered a center right lawmaker.

Fleming told attendees at his election eve rally that he is the “sole conservative” in today’s primary race against Cassidy and Letlow. 

Fleming, who served as Trump’s deputy chief of staff during his first term, said the president did not endorse him because he was “under the control” of Landry, the first-term governor who is also backing Letlow.

Chuck Edwards is accountant who often links Christian nationalism to American politics. He joined the Congress in 2023. He defeated fellow MAGA blowhard Madison Cawthorn in a bitter Republican primary.

The House Ethics Committee announced Thursday it is investigating Edwards over allegations that he “may have created or fostered a hostile work environment and engaged in sexual harassment.”

The announcement follows reports that Edwards was being scrutinized over interactions with much younger female staffers that left them feeling uncomfortable.

Edwards previously called the allegations “baseless” and said in a statement to NBC News on Thursday that he welcomed an investigation.

“As I have stated, I welcome any investigation and plan to comply fully with the Committee,” he said. “I am confident the investigation will expose the facts, not politically motivated fiction.”

A report in Axios this week, citing four sources familiar with their interactions, said one now-former female staffer complained to others about the married Edwards pressuring her to go out to dinner with him and to get drinks. She later shared her concerns with his chief of staff.

When the staffer left, the website reported, Edwards wrote her a note telling her she’d “written a complex chapter in my heart.”

He also gifted her a custom puzzle that revealed an image of Adam Sandler, along with a handwritten note inviting her to go to one of Sandler’s shows with him, the site reported.

Politico, citing two people with knowledge of the inquiry into Edwards, reported earlier this month that he was being probed over an alleged relationship he had with a subordinate and alleged sexual harassment of staff.

Trump can get away with things that most can't.

NBC News has not independently confirmed the allegations.

NBC News asked Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) about the allegations in the Axios reports, and he called them “serious” and “concerning,” but added that Edwards says they are “all untrue.”

“I will say I am consistent, whether it’s a Republican or a Democrat, a friend or foe, we have to allow due process to play out. We cannot allow mere allegations to be a determining factor here,” Johnson said.

Democrats have targeted Edwards in the midterms, looking to unseat the two-term Republican from North Carolina’s 11th District seat.

The Ethics Committee is a bipartisan committee, made up of an equal number of Republicans and Democrats, and it “noted the mere fact that it is investigating these allegations, and publicly disclosing its review, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred.”

The probe comes at what’s been a busy time for the committee. It was investigating both Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzales on sexual misconduct allegations last month when they both resigned. Both have denied wrongdoing.

The panel is also investigating Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) over allegations of “sexual misconduct and/or dating violence” and campaign finance violations. Mills has denied wrongdoing.

Drake decided to push the boundaries by mentioning that Khaled is tone deaf to the genocide being conducted by Israel on Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.

Matter of fact, he got ahead of K. Dot who paraded himself as a revolutionary. Kendrick Lamar's GNX album had no mention of Palestine. 

On the album which dropped on Friday and includes 18 tracks, the rapper makes the diss on track four titled “Make Them Pay.”

The lyrics say: “And Khaled, you know what I mean … And your people are still waitin’ for a Free Palestine. But apparently, everything isn’t black and white and red and green, man.”

DJ Khaled has been publicly criticized for not speaking up about Palestine since Oct. 7 despite his Palestinian heritage.

Drake’s album also features alleged disses at other rappers including Kendrick Lamar, who publicly called out Drake in his 2024 song “Not like Us.”

In track four titled “Janice STFU” Drake says: “White kids listen to you ‘cause they feel some guilt, and that’s how your soul gets fulfilled.” According to annotations on the website Genius, this is a diss at Lamar.

Unrepentant Election Denier Tina Peters' Tears Got Colorado Guv Pardon!

Although President Donald J. Trump pardoned the controversial former Colorado elections clerk Tina Peters, it would require Gov. Jared Polis to commute and pardon her.

With pressure from the president, Polis officially commute the unrepentant Peters.

Polis on Friday commuted the sentence of election conspiracy theorist Tina Peters following pressure from President Donald Trump, the latest instance of the president using his powers to reward those who echoed his baseless claims of mass fraud as the cause of his 2020 loss.

Trump has championed the case of Peters, a 70-year-old former county clerk who was sentenced to nine years behind bars after being convicted in a scheme to make a copy of her county’s election computer system. She gets released June 1.

In April, a Colorado appeals court upheld her conviction but ordered Peters to be resentenced because it said the judge who sent her to prison wrongly punished her for speaking out about election fraud, a decision that Polis praised.

In a letter to Peters, Polis wrote that Peters was convicted of serious crimes and deserved to spend time in prison. “However, this is an extremely unusual and lengthy sentence for a first time offender who committed nonviolent crimes,” the governor wrote.

He added Peters’ application “demonstrates taking responsibility for your crimes, and a commitment to follow the law going forward.”

President Donald Trump posted around the time of the announcement on his Truth Social platform: “FREE TINA!”

‘Affront to the rule of law’

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat, said “it was a dark day for democracy” and ”selling out our state’s justice system for Trump is an affront to the rule of law.”

“A clear message is being sent to those willing to break the law and attack democracy for the president — they will likely not face consequences for their actions,” Griswold said at a news conference.

Peters has been serving her sentence at a prison in Pueblo after being convicted in 2024 by jurors in Mesa County, a Republican stronghold that supported Trump.

Peters snuck in an outside computer expert, an associate of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, to make a copy of her county’s Dominion Voting Systems election computer server as state officials updated it in 2021. After Peters joined Lindell onstage at a “cybersymposium” that promised to reveal proof of election rigging, video and photos of the upgrade, including passwords, were posted online.

After the commutation, Peters issued a statement through her attorney thanking Polis and apologizing.

“Five years ago I misled the Secretary of State when allowing a person to gain access to county voting equipment. That was wrong,” Peters said. “I have learned and grown during my time in prison and going forward I will make sure that my actions always follow the law, and I will avoid the mistakes of the past.”

She also condemned threats and violence against voters, county clerks and election workers.

Gubernatorial candidates weigh 

Sen Michael Bennet, a Democrat who is running for Colorado governor, said he vehemently disagreed with the commutation and that Peters knowingly broke the law, undermined elections and was convicted by a jury.

“Lawlessness only breeds more lawlessness,” Bennet said. “With President Trump continuing to attack Colorado, we must do everything we can to stand strong for our institutions and the rule of law.”

A Republican candidate for governor, state Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer, said she would have preferred that the trial judge revisit Peters’ sentence as ordered by the appeals court before the governor considered any commutation.

“A commutation or pardon by a governor should be reserved for truly extraordinary circumstances,” Kirkmeyer wrote in a statement. “The governor has a responsibility to apply justice fairly, consistently, and without bias.”

Trump championed her cause

Peters was convicted of state, not federal, crimes, which put her beyond the reach of Trump’s pardon power that he used to free those convicted of crimes for the Jan. 6, 2021, attacks on the U.S. Capitol. But the president still championed her cause.

Trump has lambasted both Polis, calling him a “Scumbag Governor,” and the Republican district attorney who prosecuted her, Daniel Rubinstein, for keeping Peters in prison. He has referred to Peters, as “elderly” and “sick.” Earlier this year, Trump uninvited Polis from a White House meeting with governors over the case.

The president said Colorado was “suffering a big price” for refusing to release her. His administration has been choking off funds, ending federal programs and denying disaster aid. It also announced the dismantling of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado and relocated the U.S. Space Command to Alabama.

Matt Crane, executive director of the Colorado County Clerks Association, said the commutation “signals that it is open season on our election and election officials.”

“Gov. Polis is bending the knee to the same political voices and conspiracy theories that are undermining belief in our democratic institutions,” Crane said. “This is now Gov. Polis’ legacy. He will not be able to run from it.”

Tina Peters’ declining health in prison

Peters’ lawyers have said her health has declined in prison. Peters, who had part of her right lung removed in 2017, started coughing frequently after the prison’s heating system was turned on for the winter and has had trouble sleeping on her mattress because of chronic pain from fibromyalgia, her lawyers said.

In January, Peters was involved in a scuffle with another inmate but was found not guilty of assault following a prison disciplinary hearing, Colorado Department of Corrections spokesperson Alondra Gonzalez-Garcia said. Peters was found guilty of being in a location without authorization.

The federal Bureau of Prisons tried but failed to get Peters moved to a federal prison. But in January, Polis said he was considering granting clemency for Peters, calling her sentence “unusual and harsh“ for a first-time, nonviolent offender. In March he repeated those arguments in a lengthy post on the social media platform X.

Polis defended his decision on Friday in a social media post.

“I’ll always stand for free speech and to make sure that we live in a country that no matter what your viewpoints are, you are not incarcerated longer because of them,” Polis said.

In contrast to some other Democratic governors, Polis, who prides himself on being a political iconoclast, has taken a sometimes accommodating stance toward Trump. While he criticized Trump’s stance on tariffs and immigration, Polis praised earlier moves by the president such as the Department of Government Efficiency, run by billionaire Elon Musk, and the nomination of vaccine critic Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to run the Department of Health and Human Service.

Dalton Levi Eatherly, the doofus known as Chud The Builder is being held on attempted murder, reckless discharge of a firearm, committing a felony while using a firearm (weapons with disability), disturbing the peace and reckless endangerment with a firearm.

Eatherly appeared in court on Friday morning to officially hear his charges stemming from a shooting outside the courthouse on Wednesday.

On Wednesday afternoon, Eatherly and Joshua Fox were injured after a confrontation between the two led to a shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse, according to the District Attorney General for the 19th Judicial District.

Both Eatherly, also known as “Chud the Builder” online, and Fox sustained gunshot wounds.

Eatherly has been hospitalized since the incident, but was able to appear in court on Friday. He is officially charged with attempted criminal homicide, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

The look on the corrections officer is priceless.

The judge set his bond at $1.25 million and said the steep price tag was due to the severity of the charges and the proximity to the courthouse where they allegedly occurred.

Eatherly is scheduled to return to court on May 26 for a hearing. His attorney will be back in court for a bond hearing on May 21.

Fox, the other man injured during the courthouse shooting, is allegedly a disabled veteran who was shot in the stomach and shoulder during Wednesday’s incident. His wife set up an online donation for people to help with his medical expenses.

Eatherly has gained a following online for his in-your-face videos depicting him pushing the boundaries of free speech by using racial slurs in public settings.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

All told, "ICEMAN," "MAID OF HONOUR" and "HABIBTI" feature a combined 43 songs adding up to about 2-and-a-half hours of new music from the 39-year-old rapper. While "ICEMAN" had been publicly in the works, fans got about an hour's notice for the other two, with Drake posting each album's cover art onto separate Instagram posts, followed by "... OUT AT MIDNIGHT."

In one comment, the Canadian social media account for the energy drink Red Bull crossed out the word "sleep" and replaced it with "listen to 3 Drake albums." 

The Instagram post about "ICEMAN," whose name appeared to be the inspiration for the projection on the CN Tower, amassed nearly 3 million reactions on the social media platform by 3 a.m. The cover art features allusions to two pop stars, a Michael Jackson-esque white bedazzled glove and a Taylor Swift "Eras Tour"-esque friendship bracelet. Swift notably released "Folklore" and "Evermore" simultaneously in 2020.

While the bulk of the new albums feature solo work, there are also reunion tracks off "ICEMAN" with past collaborators 21 Savage and Future. Sexyy Red, the 28-year-old rapper from Missouri, was featured on both "MAID OF HONOUR" and "HABIBTI." 

Born Aubrey Drake Graham in Toronto, Drake has featured the Canadian skyline and Torontonian iconography on many of his tracks and in his music videos. On 2016's "Views," the rapper can be seen photoshopped sitting atop the 1,800-foot CN Tower. 

The rap fans will debate the releases and many will force Kendrick Lamar to respond.

The whole music industry is corrupt. Even in rap beefs, Drake and Kendrick Lamar have set a new precedent in how music is being released.

The whole situation is now made hip-hop face a major slump. If Drake does occupy all three spots upon these releases, it will seal him as biggest artist to break No. 1 on Billboard.

Drake also noted he doesn't care whether he is No. 1 or any chart.
