Ohio woman refuses to put her children in crumbling schools. She goes to jail because of it.
As the 45th/47th President of the United States is given the greenlight to dismantle the Department of Education by the Supreme Court, the Republicans in Ohio are making more stupid draconian laws that punish the poor and empower the elite.
They did gerrymandering to maintain power.
They passed laws to strip women's rights, cut funding to the safety net, pushed mandatory work requirements to get unemployment, stripped rights from transgender Americans, mandated that LGBTQ and queer history is removed from schools, ended free school lunches, ending summer food program, enforcing more distracted driver laws, pushing for more regulation on voter approved marijuana laws, banned critical race theory in schools, pushing for Christian nationalism in public schools, more non union schools (known as charter schools), making firearm ownership easier and punishing thieves and shoplifters with longer punishments.
Truancy is another thing that Ohio is pushing.
Diamond Street is a strugglingmother in Canton, Ohio. She has three children.
According to the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office, Diamond Street was sentenced for chronic truancy.
Prosecuting Attorney Kyle Stone says Diamond’s 13-year-old missed 200 hours of class, about a month’s worth of school.
Her 7-year-old and 6-year-old each missed 112 hours.
The absences were reported by an attendance officer with the Canton School District.
After several failed attempts to contact Diamond and assist her, the prosecutor’s office was called.
“We have a specific prosecutor assigned that all she does is handle truancy,” said Stone. “Even so, our family court is still willing to work with parents; however, if they are unwilling to put in the effort or attend necessary meetings, the situation may end up like this case.”
Stone says truancy is something they take extremely seriously in Stark County, and this is one of the more extreme cases he has seen.
“We just want parents to send their kids to school. This is not a you-as-a-parent problem; this is a community problem because if kids are not in school, they are in trouble, and kids being in trouble is something that affects all of us,” says Stone.
19 News asked Stone who is watching Diamond’s kids while she is in Stark County Jail. He told us that another family member is watching after them.
The Department of Education is ran by Linda McMahon, the former Small Business Administration advisor. She is the estranged wife of sexual predator Vince McMahon. He is the the chairman WWE Entertainment and co executive of TKO Entertainment Holdings.
McMahon is pretty clueless as an Education Secretary. She has already released over a thousand workers at the DOE. It is a real shitshow.
Even Street stated that there were reasons to have children in school. To worry about gun violence, sanitized American history, police presence in the hallways, bullying and sexual predator teachers would make me consider not having children in school.
A reporter had to take shelter after Israel struck a government building in Damascus, Syria.
APNews once again does a story that places Israel as the victim. This must end.
So another illegal attack on a sovereignty by Israel.
Americans Are Tired Of The Status Quo.
The Resistance Must Stop Israel!✊️๐ต๐ธ
Israel ๐ฎ๐ฑ Will Be Destroyed.
This ๐ฎ๐ฑ And Zionism Will Be Regarded As A Symbol Of Evil In The 21st Century.
After getting a state dinner with the 45th/47th President of the United States, photos with members of Congress, a sham presentation nominating said president with the Nobel Peace Prize, the Israeli regime prime minister heads back to home to inflict more chaos.
World leaders are uniting together to force an ouster of the United States and its dominance on the economy and international policies.
Israel is trying to seize more land and occupy more of Syria since Bashir Al-Assad was ousted. Israel and former president Joe Biden were involved in a regime change which destabilized the country.
The U.S. and Israel are funding groups that are associated with the Daesh.
Israel is also trying to do an ethnic cleansing of the Druzes.
Benjamin Netanyahu must have another damn politicial crisis.
The Israeli regime prime minister is seeing fractures in his ultra right wing coalition. The Orthadox Jews who do not serve in the Israeli Defense Forces are now required to. It has many of the advisors vowing to abandon Israel.
Israel also has a criminal trial for Netanyahu. The International Criminal Court has an active warrant for Netanyahu.
So what does he do?
He ordered an attack on Syria. The Israelis committed another war crime.
They struck the Syrian Ministry of Defense in broad daylight in a heavily populated section of Damacus, the country's largest city and capital.
Israel must be destroyed by means necessary.
So if Israel attacks Syria, does Syrians have the right to defend themselves?
Israel is the most hated country in the world. The Russian Federation and the United States are the second and third most hated, respectively.
Israel also killed over 2,000 people in five days in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Overall, Israel has killed over 157,000 civilians in Palestine, 20,000 in Lebanon, 2,000 in Iran and 35,000 in Syria.
It has killed 124 Americans and not one damn president or member of Congress have called for accountability.
The U.S. always leaves the criminal investigations to the Israeli regime.
Israel has attacked people seeking humanitarian aid. Since they banned UNRWA, the regime backed by the U.S. had a phony humanitarian organization posted. It has committed crimes against humanity under the guise of issuing aid.
Israel is hinting striking Iran. They have convinced President Donald J. Trump, that the key to peace is regime change now that they moved the goalposts. The previous reasons was its nuclear program which the U.S. struck triggering the beginning of World War III.
Iran has gotten assistance from China, Russia and North Korea. Iran is now considering the possibility of nuclear weapons to protect its sovereignty from further attacks.
Israel launched an attack on Iran. The Israelis were overwhelmed by Iran's ballistic missile. They aligned with the U.S. to broker a ceasefire which Israel has already violated. Iran is preparing once again to strike if Israel attacks.
The Israeli military launched Wednesday rare airstrikes in the heart of Damascus, hitting the Syrian Defense Ministry headquarters as clashes in the southern Syrian city of Sweida continued to flare.
Israel’s attack came hours after a drone strike on the same building. Syrian state media reported at least 13 people wounded. Another strike hit near the presidential palace in the hills outside of Damascus.
As clashes have raged for days in the southern Syrian city of Sweida between government forces and Druze armed groups, Israel has launched dozens of strikes targeting government troops and convoys, which it says are in support of the religious minority group, and has vowed to escalate its involvement.
The escalating violence appears to be the most serious threat yet to the ability of Syria’s new rulers to consolidate control of the country after a rebel offensive led by Islamist insurgent groups ousted longtime despotic leader, Bashar Assad, in December, bringing an end to a nearly 14-year civil war.
Israel must be destroyed by all means necessary.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said after the airstrike in a post on X that the “painful blows have begun.” An Israeli military official who spoke on condition of anonymity in line with regulations said the army was preparing for a “multitude of scenarios” and that a brigade, normally comprising thousands of soldiers, was being pulled out of Gaza and sent to the Golan Heights.
Syria’s Defense Ministry had earlier blamed militias in the Druze-majority area of Sweida for violating a ceasefire agreement that had been reached Tuesday, causing Syrian army soldiers to return fire. It said they were “adhering to rules of engagement to protect residents, prevent harm, and ensure the safe return of those who left the city back to their homes.”
The primarily Sunni Muslim leaders have faced suspicion from religious and ethnic minorities, whose fears increased after clashes between government forces and pro-Assad armed groups in March spiraled into sectarian revenge attacks. Hundreds of civilians from the Alawite religious minority, to which Assad belongs, were killed.
Druze fear for the lives of their relatives in Sweida
In Jaramana near the Syrian capital, Evelyn Azzam, 20, said she fears that her husband, Robert Kiwan, 23, is dead. The newlyweds live in the Damascus suburb, but Kiwan would commute to Sweida for work each morning and got trapped there when the clashes erupted.
Azzam said she was on the phone with Kiwan when security forces questioned him and a colleague about whether they were affiliated with Druze militias. When her husband’s colleague raised his voice, she heard a gunshot. Kiwan was then shot while trying to appeal.
“They shot my husband in the hip from what I could gather,” she said, struggling to hold back tears. “The ambulance took him to the hospital. Since then, we have no idea what has happened.”
A Syrian Druze from Sweida living in the United Arab Emirates said her mother, father, and sister were hiding in a basement in their home near the hospital, where they could hear the sound of shelling and bullets from outside. She spoke on condition of anonymity out of fear her family might be targeted.
She had struggled to get hold of them, but when she reached them, she said, “I heard them cry. I have never heard them this way before.”
Our senators pose with with a war criminal.
Another Druze woman living in the UAE with family members in Sweida, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said a cousin told her that a house where their relatives lived had been burned down with everyone inside it.
It reminded her of when the Islamic State extremist group attacked Sweida in 2018, she said. Her uncle was among many civilians there who took arms to fight back while Assad’s forces stood aside. He was killed in the fighting.
“It’s the same right now,” she told The Associated Press. The Druze fighters, she said, are “just people who are protecting their province and their families.”
The Druze religious sect began as a 10th-century offshoot of Ismailism, a branch of Shiite Islam. More than half of the roughly 1 million Druze worldwide live in Syria. Most of the other Druze live in Lebanon and Israel, including in the Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria in the 1967 Mideast War and annexed in 1981.
Reports of killings and looting in Druze areas
The latest escalation in Syria began with tit-for-tat kidnappings and attacks between local Sunni Bedouin tribes and Druze armed factions in the southern province.
Government forces that intervened to restore order then clashed with the Druze.
Videos surfaced on social media of government-affiliated fighters forcibly shaving the mustaches of Druze sheikhs, and stepping on Druze flags and pictures of religious clerics. Other videos showed Druze fighters beating captured government forces and posing by their dead bodies. AP reporters in the area saw burned and looted houses.
No official casualty figures have been released since Monday, when the Syrian Interior Ministry said 30 people had been killed. The U.K.-based war monitor Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said more than 250 people had been killed as of Wednesday morning, including four children, five women and 138 soldiers and security forces.
The observatory said at least 21 people were killed in “field executions.”
Interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa issued a statement Wednesday condemning the violations.
“These criminal and illegal actions cannot be accepted under any circumstances, and completely contradicts the principles that the Syrian state is built on,” the statement read, vowing that perpetrators, “whether from individuals or organizations outside of the law, will be held accountable legally, and we will never allow this to happen without punishment.”
Druze in the Golan gathered along the armed border fence to protest the occupation and invasions in Syria.
Israel threatens to scale up its intervention
In Israel, the Druze are seen as an ethnic minority and often fight to preserve their land from Israeli occupation. In Syria, the Druze were forced to deal with the country’s new leaders, with some advocating for integrating into the new system while others remained suspicious and pushed for an autonomous Druze region which Israel wants to destroy. Israel is literally ethnically cleansing the region to prevent an independent Druzan region.
On Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement that the Israeli army “will continue to attack regime forces until they withdraw from the area — and will also soon raise the bar of responses against the regime if the message is not understood.”
Netanyahu said in a statement Tuesday night that Israel has “a commitment to preserve the southwestern region of Syria as a demilitarized area on Israel’s border” and has “an obligation to safeguard the Druze locals.”
Israel has invaded and strong arming Syria’s new leaders since Assad’s fall, saying it doesn’t want civilians returning to homes the regime seized. Israeli forces have forced a U.N.-patrolled buffer zone out. The Syrian territory is now the illegally occupied Golan Heights. The Israeli regime launched hundreds of airstrikes on civilian areas in Syria.
Death, death to the IDF.
Let's clear up the YNet, the AP and ABC News' account of Oct. 7. The Israelis used the Hannibal Directive to massacre the settlers to prevent Hamas from taking IDF soliders. The IDF has used the weapons to kill settlers at a festival.
Hamas has been very clear on who they targeted. They targeted the IDF and the walls. They do not target civilians. Israel has exaggerated the way this went down.
They have used American weapons to kill children, women, men, their own settlers, journalists, doctors, humanitarian aid workers, UN peacekeepers and their own IDF soliders. Israel has killed Americans, British, German, Australian, Canadians and French citizens.
No investigations were carried out to why Israel targeted them.
Israel refuses to allow independent monitors into Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.
IDF soliders who refuse to carry out orders are often taken out by snipers.
The "hostages" were IDF soliders.
Israel has violated the ceasefire. They are planning on invading Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria. They have stopped humanitarian aid and attacked any attempts by volunteers or independent surveyors.
If Adelita Grijalva backs Israel, she will pay a price. The daughter of Rual Grijalva beats model and social media personality Deja Foxx in a contentious primary for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District.
The Democratic Party is so out of touch.
The establishment candidates lost.
Even a David Hogg backed candidate lost.
Guess who won?
The daughter of the late congressman Raul Grijalva won the primary for the open seat in Arizona. While nepotism is a problem with the Democratic Party, those who are pushing for no more Zionist Democrats favored the winner.
Now the push to keep her from backing Israel.
Adelita Grijalva, 54 defeated newcomer Deja Foxx, 25 in a contentious primary fight. It centered around two things, the name recognition, supporting Israel and social upbringing.
Foxx would have won if she spoke out in favor of the Palestinians.
Grijalva, a former Pima County board executive easily won against Foxx. There were pushes from Leaders We Deserve, Hogg's SuperPac. He is pushing for primaries against ineffective Democrats and old members.
She was among a handful of Democrats seeking to fill his shoes in the 7th Congressional District, while a trio of Republicans is vying for the GOP bid in the July 15 primary. Whoever wins will face off in the Sept. 23 general election.
Six of Arizona’s nine U.S. House members are Republican. But the 7th District is a Democratic stronghold, so much so that national Republicans don’t talk about picking it up, said pollster Mike O’Neil. It stretches across most of the state’s border with Mexico and includes parts of Tucson and nearby counties.
Still, the GOP candidates are holding out hope for change for the first time in 22 years.
Here’s a look at the candidates:
A handful of Democratic hopefuls
Adelita Grijalva, who served on local governing boards, is regarded as the frontrunner. The Democratic candidates also include former state lawmaker Daniel Hernandez, who is credited with helping save then-U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ life when she was shot outside a Tucson grocery store in 2011.
Digital strategist and reproductive rights advocate Deja Foxx, Indigenous activist and scholar Jose Malvido Jr. and retired health care executive Patrick Harris Sr. round out the field.
All but one of the Democrats — Hernandez — said they oppose a massive copper mining project in the district that environmentalists and Native American tribes say will decimate the landscape and destroy sacred sites. Hernandez said environmental protection and job creation can happen simultaneously.
The Democrats’ policy stances otherwise are similar in denouncing President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdowns as cruel. Cuts to Medicaid and Medicare will hurt residents and rural hospitals, they say.
Adelita Grijalva, whose values she says align with her father’s, pushed back against notions she’s an establishment candidate.
David Hogg ain't done. He will continue to push for more candidates like Deja Foxx to defeat ineffective Democrats.
“In more than two decades of public service to Arizona, I have a record of my own,” Grijalva said.
Hernandez, a former congressional candidate in a neighboring district, touted his advocacy for gun violence survivors and transgender rights. He said he’s not worried about the GOP flipping the 7th District because of its working class and Latino electorate.
Foxx, who at 25 is the youngest Democratic candidate, has shared that her life story includes government housing, subsidized health care and food assistance while being raised by a single mother in Tucson.
She led influencer strategy for Kamala Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign. “You can expect me to be outspoken, to be an obstructionist to Donald Trump” if elected, she said.
If the Democratic Party continues to stand on the status quo, candidates like Deja Foxx and Adelita Grijalva will become independent and no longer back Democrats.
Malvido has spoken out against the killings of Palestinians in the Israel-Hamas war, believes the United States needs to preserve the separation of powers and wants to reconnect with working class voters.
Patrick Harris has proposed setting a national wealth threshold of $1 billion and taxing the excess if it’s not reinvested or donated within a year to keep the American dream within reach.
Trio of Latinos vie for GOP nod
The Republicans in the running generally favor Trump’s immigration crackdown, though painting company owner Daniel Butierez objected to enforcement around schools and churches. Off-road vehicle businessman Jimmy Rodriguez says he’s open to immigrants filling jobs in the farming and construction industries, as long as they’re not convicted criminals.
Butierez and restaurant owner Jorge Rivas support Trump’s bill of tax breaks and funding cuts but share concerns with Democrats about losing health care funding.
Butierez’s path to political life has been unconventional. He was imprisoned in a drug case but was found to have been wrongly convicted. He credited religion for turning his life around and said his experiences in life and his business sense make him suited to serve in Congress.
“I believe there’s going to be a shift,” said Butierez, who captured 36% of the vote in the 2024 election against Raรบl Grijalva. “I actually believe it’s going to be a complete upset.”
Rivas immigrated to the United States when his native El Salvador was embroiled in a civil war in the 1980s. He started serving meals from a food wagon and now operates a Mexican restaurant as a U.S. citizen. He said his success came from hard work and a little luck.
“I know how bad things can get when you don’t have the right people in power,” he said.
Rodriguez, who ran for Congress in Vermont in 2020, said he was inspired to seek public office after enduring hardships following the loss of his 19-year-old son who was hit while photographing an off-road race in Nevada.
Three years later, he pleaded guilty to making a false statement to a government agency and was sentenced to five years of probation in Arizona. He said he’s owned the mistake and is making amends.
“I really want to be the representative that I needed back when I went through all this with my son, and I think I’m capable,” he said.
Don't they know who I am? I am a lawmaker and a veteran.
Even passing the Big Beautiful Bill Act has its results affect those who voted for it.
Now you may remember Florida lawmaker Cory Mills, Republican U.S. House member. He is a total MAGAland moron who committed adultery while he was in Washington, DC.
Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) allegedly had an ongoing affair with Sarah Raviani, an Iranian American far right media agitator who unapologetically supports the apartheid ethnostate of Israel.
He and his wife Rana Al Saadi are divorcing. Al Saadi is an Iraqi refugee who gained naturalized American citizenship and served in the first Trump administration. She is a Christian.
She is raising his two children.
According to TheBlaze in May 2025, Mills and Saadi have been "going through divorce proceedings for 2.5 years and have been separated for three years".
Apparently she may have used Mills to gain citizenship and child support from Mills. She may have cheated on him as well but there's no evidence of that as of yet.
This honeytrap Raviani is a social media influncer who is 28 years old. She is likely a Mossad asset who engages in sextortion and blackmail.
On February 21, 2025, the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia announced they were investigating an alleged physical assault of a woman by Mills. The woman was not Mills's wife.
According to the police report of the incident, Raviani stated that Mills "grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door." Mills was not arrested because the alleged victim recanted details of the incident.
On February 24, it was revealed that the Metropolitan Police Department sent an arrest warrant for Mills to interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin on February 21, but, for unclear reasons, it was not signed by Martin.[46] This led to MSNBC News Producer Steve Benen speculating that the arrest warrant was not signed because Martin wanted to "go easy on a Republican member of Congress as part of a broader political agenda".
Mills has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in the matter.
The board of the independent Office of Congressional Ethics investigated inconsistent financial statements in August 2024; their report stated "The OCE found that from January 2023 to present, Pacem Defense/ALS, has been actively contracting with the federal government, securing close to $1,000,000 in federal contracts for munitions and weapons, distributed to prisons across the country...Specifically, since January 9, 2024, 94 contracts have been awarded to entities owned by Rep. Mills."
Mills denied wrongdoing and did not cooperate with the OCE's investigations, refusing to provide tax returns or explain the ownership structure of his companies.
Roger,
I know facts are unusual and unfamiliar thing for you, but here’s just the past two months where you can see I’m repeatedly asking for payment links and again as I tried with management today, it failed to process.
On March 27, 2025, the House Ethics Committee announced it would investigate Mills for violating federal laws and House rules that prohibit members of Congress from contracting with the government.
Now he faces a lawsuit from the landlord of his Washington, DC home.
Mills failed to pay over $85,000 in back rent. Even this incident happened during failed payments.
Bozzuto Management Company accused Mills of failing to pay rent between March and July in a complaint filed in DC Superior Court last week. Monthly rent for his apartment is $20,833, according to the filing.
According to independent journalist Roger Sollengberger, who first reported on the lawsuit against Mills, he had paid his rent late for "nearly every month" since he moved into his penthouse apartment in June 2023. He also missed payments for several months entirely. It came as an alarming photo of President Donald J. Trump's swollen ankles sparked huge new health fears about the president.
"Mills' company has also failed to pay its debts," Sollenberger wrote. "They got bad news earlier this month, when its lender told investors that the investment fund supporting his company had failed and would be shut down."
Sollenberger later posted on X that Mills had called him "mock" him for his reporting on the court filing seeking his eviction.
The management company has asked the court to allow it to evict Mills. It has also asked for an order that would require Mills to submit future monthly rent payments with the court until the case is resolved, according to NBC News.
Mills has represented Florida's 7th Congressional District since Jan. 2023, and he has said he plans to run for a Senate seat in 2026. He is an Army veteran who received a Bronze Star for his service in Iraq.
In response to Sollenberger's reporting, Mills uploaded several screenshots from his emails and alleged it was a technical error that caused his late payments, and that he had been in contact with the management company regarding the issue. "Facts are a finicky thing but wouldn’t expect you to be anything other than a biased hack," he added, echoing the increasingly common language of Trump and members of the Republican party toward journalists when confronted with alleged wrongdoing.
Still riding that broom. The wicked bitch of North Carolina, Virginia Foxx along with Republicans blocked the Jeffrey Epstein files.
President Donald J. Trump, the second term curse.
The president, Vice President JD Vance, Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Secretary of State Marco Rubio all suck at their job.
They were once U.S. Senators, U.S. House members, Secret Service officers, governors, media personalities and state attorney generals.
The fact none of these folks know a damn thing is beyond comparison.
MAGA won on conspiracy theories, the economy, the fallout from former president Joe Biden's foreign policies, Israel and culture wars.
Now it has come back to haunt them.
Y'all voted for this.
That old bitch, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) is a chair of the House Rules Committee.
She and the Republicans rejected a full release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. That proposal came from Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and it was asking for transparency.
Democrats are not the only party that has an issue with status quo politics and old people continously running.
The motion was defeated 5 to 7. One Republican member, Ralph Norman, voted yes alongside Democrats. Republican Representative Chip Roy, who missed the vote. Roy has been contacted via email for comment.
House Republicans on Monday blocked a Democratic attempt to force the Justice Department to release all records related to Jeffrey Epstein, rejecting an amendment that highlighted growing rifts in MAGA World over the issue.
The House Rules Committee voted 6–5 to prevent the measure. It would have required Attorney General Pam Bondi to post all Epstein-related documents on a publicly accessible website within 30 days.
Trump, whose supporters have long called on him to release the files, over the weekend distanced himself from the issue, calling it a distraction and saying that the files were “written by” his political enemies, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
Bondi previously said she was in possession of a “client list” but the administration has since walked that claim back.
U.S. House members of North Carolina suck the cock of an Israeli. Don Davis, Alama Adams, Virginia Foxx, Tim Moore, Greg Murphy, Addison McDowell, David Rouzer, Mark Harris, Richard Hudson, Valerie Foushee, Deborah Ross, Mark Harris, Pat Harrigan, Chuck Edwards and Brad Knott all take AIPAC money.
U.S. Senators Tom Tillis and Ted Budd suck the cock of an Israeli too.
Foxx is staunchly supportive of Israel. Israel has its fingers all over the Epstein files.
After initially conceding to Democratic Party nominee for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo has decided to run again but as an independent to spoil.
Incumbent Eric Adams who declared he is now an independent approved of this.
Cuomo is hoping to keep the establishment and Black voters from backing Mamdani.
Adams and Cuomo are staunch supporters of Israel and have criticized Mamdani for not condemning remarks like "Globalize the Infitada" (which he did not say nor publicly endorsed).
The Zionists who are a racist coalition of Republican and Democratic lawmakers are bankrolling a major campaign to defeat Mamdani.
In a video, Cuomo announced he would remain in the race to combat Mamdani, a democratic socialist state lawmaker, while previewing a strategic reset that would bring a more personal approach to a campaign that had been criticized as distant from voters.
“The fight to save our city isn’t over,” Cuomo said. “Only 13% of New Yorkers voted in the June primary. The general election is in November and I am in it to win it.”
Critics of Mamdani’s progressive agenda, which includes higher taxes on the wealthy, have called on donors and voters to unite behind a single candidate for the November election. Instead, Cuomo joins a crowded field that also includes current Mayor Eric Adams, who is also a Democrat running as an independent. These candidates now face a complex task in cobbling together enough voters in an overwhelmingly Democratic city where Mamdani has amassed significant momentum.
In a statement, Jeffrey Lerner, a spokesperson for Mamdani, criticized Cuomo and Adams while emphasizing that the Democratic nominee “is focused on making this city more affordable for New Yorkers.”
Cuomo’s decision to press on is the latest chapter in his comeback attempt, launched almost four years after he resigned as governor in 2021 following a barrage of sexual harassment allegations. He denied wrongdoing during the campaign, maintaining that the scandal was driven by politics.
The former governor was the presumed frontrunner for much of the primary. His juggernaut campaign drew heavily on his deep political experience, universal name recognition and a powerful fundraising operation, but at the same time limited media interviews, held few unscripted events and avoided mingling with voters.
The guarded strategy was in heavy contrast with Mamdani’s energetic run, which was centered around making the city a more affordable place to live and amassed a legion of volunteers, all while the candidate’s savvy social media persona won him national acclaim.
— Zohran Kwame Mamdani (@ZohranKMamdani) July 14, 2025
Mamdani’s massive win sent a lightning bolt through the Democratic party, energizing young progressives but also unnerving moderates who worried the candidate’s criticisms of Israel and socialist label could alienate centrist voters.
Cuomo, in his video Monday, appeared to acknowledge his campaign’s shortcomings, splicing his latest pitch to return to the political stage with clips of him shaking hands with people and a vow to run a more grounded campaign.
“Every day I’m going to be hitting the streets meeting you where you are, to hear the good and the bad, problems and solutions,” he said, “because for the next few months it’s my responsibility to earn your vote.”
They keep a knocking but they can't take him out.
Mamdani had been relatively unknown when he launched his mayoral candidacy but picked up heavy momentum before trouncing the former governor by more than 12 percentage points. Cuomo conceded the race on the night of the election.
Despite the loss, Cuomo had qualified to run on an independent ballot line in November under a party he created called “Fight and Deliver.”
Cuomo began losing support from traditional allies as he weighed whether to remain in the race, with key labor unions and political leaders starting to line up behind Mamdani. Rev. Al Sharpton, an influential Black leader, has urged Cuomo to step aside.
Some deep-pocketed contributors have meanwhile aligned behind Adams. Although he’s still a Democrat, Adams pulled out of the primary shortly after a federal judge dismissed a corruption case against him at the request of President Donald J. Trump’s Justice Department, arguing that the case had sidelined him from campaigning.
Adams, in a statement released by his campaign, said “Cuomo is wasting time and dividing voters.”
“The people spoke loudly — he lost. Yet he continues to put himself over the number one goal — beating Mamdani and securing our city future,” said Adams.
Jim Walden, a former prosecutor, is also running as an independent candidate. Curtis Sliwa, founder of the 1970s-era Guardian Angels anti-crime patrol, is on the Republican line.
Cuomo’s campaign released a statement later Monday that said the former governor had agreed to a proposal by Walden that “in mid-September, we will determine which candidate is strongest against Mamdani and all other candidates will stand down, rather than act as spoilers and guarantee Mamdani’s election.”
Both Adams and Sliwa have insisted they would not drop out of the race.
Cuomo is planning on being a lawyer for the defense of Israel in the International Court of Justice. He has been on a campaign to court Jewish voters. His belief he will stay loyal to Israel will be a key to victory. I doubt it.
The 45th/47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump and 50th Vice President of the United States, JD Vance were not welcomed.
FIFA hosted at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were booed and cussed at during the playing of the national anthem and ceremony of the winning team.
Met Life Stadium hosts the New York Giants and New York Jets, NFL teams.
Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance were booed, heckled and cussed at when he took his vacation to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
Trump even appeared at the trophy ceremony. He was in the way and the FIFA president was trying to usher him away from the stage.
Trump appeared to look confused.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino’s attempt to discreetly usher Trump off the stage failed Sunday night, leaving Chelsea soccer players visibly baffled as Trump lingered and remained front and center during their ceremonial Club World Cup trophy lift.
After handing team captain Reece James the trophy following Chelsea’s 3–0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, Trump remained among the players – despite protocol dictating a swift exit. Instead, he stood through the celebration, prompting confused glances from the squad, including a visibly puzzled look from player Cole Palmer.
— BrooklynDad_Defiant!☮️ (@mmpadellan) July 14, 2025
The president had been invited to hand over the trophy, but remained standing among the jubilant players as they celebrated. This, despite Infantino’s attempt to encourage him to step aside.
Trump seemed to be having a great time, but the moment drew audible boos from sections of the 81,000-strong crowd and visible confusion from Chelsea’s stars – with Palmer caught on camera mouthing to James: “What is he doing?”
Miserable couple. President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
It fell to Infantino to return to the stage and awkwardly usher Trump off the platform in a diplomatic rescue that saw the president subtly walked to the back of the stage so the team could have their celebration.
Speaking to the media afterwards, Palmer said: “I knew he was going to be here, but I didn’t know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy. I was a bit confused, yes.”
James was equally bemused. “They told me that he was going to present the trophy and then exit the stage, and I thought that he was going to exit the stage, but he wanted to stay.”
Trump nearly was assassinated by Thomas Crooks last year. His failure to move in accordance has put a strain on the U.S. Secret Service. The Secret Service dismissed a handful of the president's normal detail after the ordeal.
Trump’s insufferable need to be in the spotlight has negative reactions.
Republicans are scared of holding town halls dues to the DOGE cuts to federal government, the endless funding to Israel, the endless funding to Ukraine, the Epstein files and the passing of the Big Beautiful Bill Act.
His own coalition is falling apart as we speak. He promised no new wars.
The Trump Administration at the behest of Israel attacked the sovereignties of Iran and Yemen. The Trump Administration has decided that in 2027 there will cuts to the safety net as many Americans are experiencing financial hardships thanks to his policies. The Trump Administration has become totally tone deaf when it comes to inflation, raising gas prices, widespread disease outbreaks and failure to prevent them. The Trump-endorsed tariffs have world leaders considering abandoning the U.S. dollar and imposing trade restrictions on American made products.
Y'ALL VOTED FOR THIS.
Trump, 79 is cognitive declining in front of the public. All the insults and name calling isn't funny anymore for MAGA. The Epstein files were the biggest reasons for Trump’s victory. His survival from an assassination attempt changed the game but now many wished he had took a bullet.
Immigrants did not kill. Muslims did not kill. Arabs or Blacks didn't kill.
The latest mass shooting on the anniversary of Donald J. Trump escaping an assassination attempt in the Butler, Pennsylvania mass shooting.
In the state of Kentucky.
President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Gov. Andy Beshear, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and the Kentucky U.S. House members were notified of the mass shooting in the Lexington-Fayette County area.
Another police shooting and church shooting.

The suspect is dead.
A Kentucky Commonwealth State Police trooper was shot at the Bluegrass Airport. The suspect flees to a nearby Baptist church and opened fire on parishioners.
Lexington Police and Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting.
The Lexington Fire Department told WKYT their crews were dispatched to 4000 Terminal Drive for reports of a shooting with a victim at around 11:40 a.m. Sunday.
State police say there are multiple victims at the church, and police “secured” the suspect there. They say the suspect is deceased.
A Kentucky State Police trooper shot at the Bluegrass Airport in Lexington.
Police say the injured trooper is receiving medical attention, and EMS is treating those injured at the church. Their conditions are not known.
There is a law enforcement investigation impacting a portion of Terminal Drive. Blue Grass Airport is guiding passengers to open parking. All flights and operations are now continuing as usual.
Police are also blocking off part of Old Richmond Road near the church.
WKYT has reached out to Lexington Police, KSP, and Blue Grass Airport for more information.
Two women died Sunday at a Kentucky church in a shooting spree that began when a state trooper was wounded after making a traffic stop, police said. The suspect in both shootings was also killed.
The suspect carjacked a vehicle after the traffic stop near Lexington's airport and fled to Richmond Road Baptist Church, where he opened fire, Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers said. Killed in the shootings at the church were a 72-year-old woman and a 32-year-old woman, the local coroner said.
Two other people were wounded at the church and taken to a local hospital, the police chief said. One victim sustained critical injuries and the other was in stable condition, Weathers said.
The suspect was shot by police and died at the scene, he said. The suspect was not immediately identified pending notification of family, he said.
The little church that became a crime scene.
“Preliminary information indicates that the suspect may have had a connection to the individuals at the church,” the police chief said at a news conference.
The trooper stopped the vehicle after receiving a “license plate reader alert” and was shot about 11:30 a.m., Weathers said. The trooper was in stable condition, he said.
Police tracked the carjacked vehicle to the Baptist church, the police chief said. The church is about 16 miles 26 kilometers) from where the trooper was shot.
The shootings remain under investigation, Weathers said.
Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn said the church is home to a small, tight-knit congregation.
“Please pray for everyone affected by these senseless acts of violence, and let’s give thanks for the swift response by the Lexington Police Department and Kentucky State Police,” Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said in a social media post.
State Attorney General Russell Coleman said detectives with his office were ready to support local and state agencies. “Today, violence invaded the Lord’s House,” Coleman said in a statement. “The attack on law enforcement and people of faith in Lexington shocked the entire Commonwealth."
WHITE PRIVILEGE IS REAL! IT'S "SUIT AND TIE" WHITE SUPREMACY ON TELEVISION, RADIO, THE INTERNET AND AMERICAN POLICY!
FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!
IF THE UNITED STATES CONTINUES TO AID ISRAEL, THE WORLD WILL BOYCOTT THE U.S. AND ABANDON THE DOLLAR!
I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION.
THERE IS NO GOD!
GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS!
FUCK YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!
Trump gave us open season.
Gov. Andy Beshear deals with another crisis.
These murderers don't have mental illness. They are calculated and prepared. It happened to be a moment where they have the opportunity to take out lives.
There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.
I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns.
Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases.
Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.
According to the far right: White shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. According to the far right, almost all white [or non-white] mass shooters are registered Democrats [or some progressive activist] because they have liked or done one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share or post disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. The far right says a white person should "protect" themselves from thugs, terrorists or protesters. They believe the use of firearms are "justified" if they are protesting or even instigating a conflict. The far right believes if a shooter is a police officer, an active military member, a veteran or a citizen who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens in urban communities, the far right automatically assumes the gunmen are Black.
The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican legislators who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms.
They already making assumptions without facts.
Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.
We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.Keep pressure on them with Israel.
Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid.
Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.
Republicans have extremely unpopular ideas. They will find out the risk of supporters being turned off by their policies.
Biden, Harris and the Democratic Party failed at understanding what is more important to the country. Trump, Vance and the Republican Party have already failed at understanding.
Beverly Gumm, 72 and Kristy McCombs, 32 died.
Both parties support of Israel had made some Arab Americans, Muslim and young voters vote against them. They have cost Biden a second term and Harris a historical victory.

The call center to the White House and Congress should still be the same.
The call number to the White House and U.S. Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official White House numbers 202-456-1111 and 202-456-1414. This is the Congress official phone number, 202-224-3121. Please be respectful to operators, staff members and elected leaders. Your calls are monitored by the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Capitol Police.
Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. Let them know that deporting law abiding immigrants seeking refuge is inhumane. You want our American military out of the Middle East and every fucking international conflict in the world. You want legislation to focus on ending gun violence, lowering the cost of rent, lowering the cost of food, lowering the cost of hospital visits, improving healthcare and building relationships with other nations. Let them know that pulling out of the UN Human Rights Organization, World Health Organization and Paris Climate Accords will put the U.S. in danger when catastrophic event happen. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel and Ukraine. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism.
We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists.
A social media influencer found the public isn't kind to you when you're running your mouth endlessly trashing others. It is called a digital dash.
Now Dr. Auburne Gallagher, MD, you fucked around and now you're going to find out.
The floods in Texas, New Mexico and North Carolina have a major impact on Americans. Those who live near bodies of water had their homes destroyed from catastrophic flooding.
On July 4, 2025, a destructive and deadly flooding took place in the Texas Hill Country, particularly in Kerr County, in the U.S. state of Texas. During the initial flooding, water levels along the Guadalupe River rose rapidly. As a result, at least 129 fatalities have been confirmed, of which at least 103 are in Kerr County, with about 170 reported missing. The flooding was caused by a mesoscale convective vortex with enhanced tropical moisture from the remnants of a short lived Tropical Storm Barry.
@fafotrumpies UPDATE: this video is sort of long, but important. This is coming directly from Auburne Gallagher's son, @PolyDad ... Here he bravely details the physical and emotional abuse he & his siblings endured growing up. Head to his page for the first video. We're so grateful he spoke out, because this is exactly the kind of harm that needs to be exposed. These red hats must be called out for their behavior, now and always. Flooding began on the morning of July 4, after significant rainfall accumulated across Central Texas. Six flash flood emergency warnings, which included the cities of Kerrville and Mason, were issued the same day. The Guadalupe River rose about 26 ft (7.9 m) in 45 minutes. It surged an estimated 29 ft (8.8 m) in the Hunt area, where more than 20 children were declared missing from a summer camp. July 5 saw more flash flood warnings for the Lake Travis area, which is part of the Colorado River watershed. In the span of a few hours, the equivalent to four months worth of rain fell across the Texas Hill Country region, with the highest rain totals being 20.33 in (516 mm). This flood was the deadliest inland flooding event in the United States since the 1976 Big Thompson River flood, surpassing flooding from Hurricane Helene in 2024.
After the disaster, Texas governor Greg Abbott signed a state disaster declaration for several counties in Central Texas, and U.S. president Donald Trump signed a federal disaster declaration for Kerr County. Over 2,000 volunteers arrived in Kerr County to help with the search and rescue. Several state and volunteer firefighters and search and rescue teams, including a team from Mexico, moved along the Guadalupe River. Over 850 people were rescued from the floods; one rescue swimmer saved 165 people.
The preparation for and response to the floods by Kerr County officials have fallen under scrutiny. The county lacked an independent flood warning system, though a former sheriff advocated for such a system nine years earlier and the county commissioner at the time noted that their area was at the highest risk for flooding. The lack of follow-through was attributed to the high cost of such a system, and lack of support from the local residents. Although officials were notified when the flooding began on July 4, it took several additional hours before any county alert messages were sent out. A report came out that several buildings in Camp Mystic were removed from Federal Emergency Management Agency's 100 year flood map from 2011 to 2020 after several appeals from federal regulators, loosening oversight as the camp operated and expanded in a dangerous flood plain years before the deadly floods.
