Cop Walk In Jayland Walker Shooting! 👮‍♂️

Ohio says 40 shots were justified in killing Jayland Walker.

The grand jury said that eight Akron Police officers used justified force in the fatal shooting of Jayland Walker. The Ohio Attorney General, Dave Yost made a press conference on Monday confirming that despite the 40 shots Walker took after fleeing a traffic stop, the grand jury believed that Walker shot from his vehicle at cops which justified their actions. At the time of the shooting, Walker had no weapon on him.

They said a firearm was retrieved.

Walker was shot 46 times in a hail of gunfire that lasted just under seven seconds and roiled yet another city amid heightened tensions with police over the killing of a Black man that started with a routine traffic stop.

Akron’s mayor and police chief urged residents Monday to protest peacefully, acknowledging that many are angry with the shooting last June that Walker’s family has called brutal and senseless.

“Turn toward one other and not on each other,” said Mayor Daniel Horrigan.

The state’s investigation found that Walker jumped out of his still-moving car, ran from police and ignored commands to stop and show his hands. Some of the officers first used Tasers to try and stop Walker, Yost said.

But Walker reached toward his waistband and raised a hand as officers were chasing, Yost said. The officers, not knowing Walker left his gun in the car, believed he was going to fire again, Yost said. He said it is critical to remember that Walker had “shot first.”

Responding with tears and frustration at a subsequent press conference, the Walker family and their supporters mourned the grand jury’s decision and called on Akron residents to protest loudly for justice and change. Democratic U.S. Rep. Emilia Sykes, of Akron, said she will ask the U.S. Justice Department to investigate “the patterns and practices of the Akron Police Department.”

“I still can’t comprehend how a young man has 46 bullet holes from officers and that is justified,” Sykes said while also urging people to honor Walker’s memory by protesting peacefully. “I ask you to remember the words of Jayland’s family by speaking up. But do so without violence.”

The family and the NAACP previously have called on the Justice Department to open a federal civil rights investigation.

Jaymeisha Beasley, the fiance of Jayland Walker was killed in Cincinnati after a hit and run incident.

Bobby DiCello, an attorney for Walker’s family, criticized the state’s investigation, saying police gunned down Walker execution-style. Paige White, another attorney for the family, said the investigation was skewed in favor of the police and that “Jayland didn’t have a chance.”

“Akron Police Department, when you call for peace, when you call for no destruction, when you call for respect — where was your respect for Jayland?” White said.

The state investigation said police first saw Walker driving with a broken taillight and a broken light on his rear license plate, but they decided not to follow him. They saw him 10 minutes later at the same intersection and became suspicious, Yost said.

Police said Walker refused to stop and then fired a shot from his car 40 seconds into the pursuit.

Officers chased the car on a freeway and city streets until Walker bailed from the still-moving vehicle and ran into a parking lot where he was killed while wearing a ski mask, body cam video showed. Authorities said he represented a “deadly threat.” A handgun, a loaded magazine and a wedding ring were found on the driver’s seat of his car.

Police union officials said the officers thought there was an immediate threat of serious harm and that their actions were in line with their training and protocols.

Dash-cam video from a police cruiser captured images of Walker firing the gun from his car, said Anthony Pierson, an assistant state attorney general. Walker had no criminal history and had never fired a gun until he went to a shooting range with a friend in early June, Pierson said.

At the time of the shooting, Walker was grieving his fiancée’s recent death, and his family and Pierson said his actions that night were out of character.

“That night he encountered the police he wasn’t acting himself,” Pierson said. “By all accounts he was a good person, a good man.”

Authorities checked Walker’s online history and found in the weeks before his death searches for phrases including “drinking bleach” and “quickest ways to die,” according to an investigative report released Monday.

The report also contained information from a Euclid, Ohio, police captain who told investigators that Walker’s best friend interviewed for a police job in that city days after Walker’s death and suggested it had been “suicide by cop.”

Protests will continue.

But when interviewed by investigators, the friend strongly disputed that, telling detectives that Walker was distraught but never mentioned suicide.

Pierson was asked at the news conference if Walker’s death could have been suicide. He declined to speculate about Walker’s state of mind but said there was no direct evidence he was suicidal.

Akron Police Chief Steve Mylett said Monday that the city will begin an internal investigation into the shooting, but he would not release the names of the eight officers because of ongoing threats against them.

The officers, who initially were placed on leave, will remain on administrative duties. None of the eight officers appear to have been disciplined for any previous use of force incidences, according to investigation records released by the state.

While the grand jury’s decision shows no crime was committed by the officers, “in no way does that take away from the tragedy of June 27,” Mylett said.

Attorneys for the eight officers released a statement calling the incident a tragedy for the entire community, including Walker’s family and all of the officers who were involved. “A split-second decision to use lethal force is one that every police officer hopes he or she will never be forced to make,” the statement said.

A county medical officer said the autopsy found no illegal drugs or alcohol were detected in Walker’s body.

After taking over the investigation last summer at the request of Akron police, prosecutors with the Ohio attorney general’s office presented the case to the grand jury.

City set up a designated protest zone downtown outside city hall, where plywood covered the first-floor windows. Temporary fencing circled the county courthouse and many businesses boarded up their windows.

But hours after the grand jury’s decision, the protest zone was almost entirely empty on a cold, windy night mixed with snow flurries and rain.

The city’s school district canceled classes on Tuesday in the wake of the grand jury announcement.

Less than 24 hours before the chase, police in neighboring New Franklin Township had tried to stop a car matching Walker’s, also for unspecified minor equipment violations. A supervisor there called off the pursuit when the car crossed the township’s border with Akron.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence, monkeypox and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

Dave Yost declined to charge eight Akron cops for excessive force. Maybe he will do a Mike DeWine and run for governor.

I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth.

When you hear folks say "gun rights," what they really mean is that its white privilege. This good guy with a gun nonsense has to end. The cops didn't do nothing when children were shot inside a school. A security guard was shot dead trying to protect shoppers. A cop accidentally shot his own. The good guy who tried to stop a bad guy is outgunned and a part of the rule #3.

I don't want to hear folks say masks and vaccine mandates impede their freedoms. It prevents a deadly outbreak from spreading. If you want to die from the coronavirus, that's on you. We lost over 1 million people from the coronavirus.

I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. Cause a bullet does not have eyes and it's always likely gonna hit a target. These folks seem to not get it. These incidents are a tragic part of American history. Thoughts and prayers and your heart going out to the victims is not enough. It quite frankly is an insult. I am also tired of scapegoating Black on Black crime, Chicago, Baltimore and Democratic mayors for the nation's obsession to be numb to gun violence. You pretty much enable this nonsense by deflecting.

President Joe Biden is trying to curb gun violence. However, he has no support from Republicans. Most Democrats and America are for gun control measures. However one Democrat and one independent who caucuses with the Democrats in the Senate refuse to change the filibuster rules and its holding us back.

The National Rifle Association is always pushing against it. They will not relinquish from the narrative that guns are not saving lives. The Republicans aided by a fickle junk food media are openly encouraging anarchy and disruption in a desperate attempt for the Republicans to win back Congress and the White House. These agitators are calling for Biden to curb crime but will not help him. They want more guns on the street. It makes no sense.

So in closing, expect more.

Ringing Doorbell Gets Teen Shot!

The world is pulling for Ralph Yarl.

What happened to Ralph Yarl?

In Kansas City, a boy is recovering from injuries he suffered after being shot in the head and arm after ringing the doorbell of an elderly man's home. Now, this suspect is being held on attempted murder charges and there's protest to why Kansas City Police delaying the arrest.

President Joe Biden has contacted Yarl's family and called once again for gun reform laws.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Ralph Yarl, a 16-year-old African American teenager, was shot and wounded after ringing the doorbell to the wrong house in Kansas City, Missouri on April 13, 2023. Yarl was attempting to pick up his twin siblings and ended up at the wrong address, according to family members.

Andrew Daniel Lester, an 84-year-old white man, was charged in connection with the shooting on April 17. He is charged with armed criminal action and first-degree assault, which is the equivalent of attempted murder in Missouri. The Clay County district attorney stated that there was a "racial component" to the shooting. If convicted, Lester faces between 10 years to life in prison.

Man shoots teen after ringing doorbell.

In the evening hours of April 13, Yarl had been sent to pick up his siblings from an address in the 1100 block of NE 115th Terrace. He mistakenly went to a home less than a block away on NE 115th Street and rang the doorbell. Investigators allege that Lester shot Yarl twice through the house's front glass door. The Kansas City Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near the home a little before 10 p.m. Neighbors had found Yarl lying injured in the street and called police, who found Yarl with at least two gunshot wounds to the head and arm.

In the early morning hours of April 14, Lester was taken into custody. No initial charges were filed against Lester, and he was released after being held in custody for a short time, listed as “out of custody” and “general release” status on the same day.

The Clay County, Missouri prosecutors office stated on April 17 that they had not received a criminal referral from the Kansas City Police Department in regards to the shooting. Later that day, Lester was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. In Missouri, first-degree assault is the state's equivalent for attempted murder.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence, monkeypox and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

Willing To Settle?

Fox is making a last minute settlement to Dominion before trial.

It appears that Fox is desperate to settle with Dominion Voting Systems. The company sued the far right network for $1.6 billion for defamation.

The trial was expected to start on Monday but was pushed back until Tuesday.

It has some concern that Dominion will settle with Fox. If they settle, then Fox will continue to push radical claims without accountability.

Fox had to apologize to Delaware Supreme Court Judge Eric M. Davis after the network withheld evidence and also sparked a whisper campaign which led to death threats against him and Dominion.

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Fox, which has made attempts at a settlement before, was making a final push to avoid a weeks-long trial that could see its top hosts and leaders, including 92-year-old Rupert Murdoch, take the witness stand.

News that the trial was pushed back sparked speculation on Twitter that last-minute settlement talks are underway. Legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin noted: “These kind of delays often happen when civil cases are about to settle.”

Dominion focused on allegations made between November 2020 and January 2021 by hosts Maria Bartiromo, Tucker Carlson, Lou Dobbs, Sean "Softball" Hannity, and Jeanine Pirro. Guests who often appeared with these hosts included Washed Up 45 attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, both of whom have also been sued individufally by Dominion in federal court.

Davis ruled in a March 2023 summary judgment that none of the statements Fox made about Dominion were true and ordered the case to trial to determine if the network had acted with actual malice. Jury selection for the trial began on April 13, 2023, with several prominent Fox personalities and senior executives expected to testify at trial beginning April 17.

Walgreens Condemn Cashier Shooting A Pregnant Woman Accused Of Shoplifting!

Cashier shot an alleged shoplifting who was pregnant.

Nashville, Tennessee.

Okay, I get it. Shoplifting is frustrating. People who steal from stores often do it to survive.

Stores shutter out of predominantly Black and Hispanic communities because of theft.

Food deserts exist due to big box retailers leaving the city.

Yeah, they're criminal organizations that do high end shoplifting. Many of these incidents often have repeat offenders. Some are either poor, homeless, addicted to drugs and just in it for thrills. But it should not result in death.

A man working for Walgreens shot at a woman who was seven months pregnant after he accused her of shoplifting. He confronted the woman and her friend. An altercation led to him getting maced. Instead of getting license plates and calling the police, he pulled out his firearm and shot at the woman's vehicle numerous times. The woman was hit and the medics had to perform an emergency C-section. The woman and her child are in critical condition.

Nashville Metro Police are investigating. The cashier is claiming self defense. But for property theft that is not a home, it will not be considered self defense.

The preliminary investigation of the shooting shows that 21-year-old Mitarius Boyd, the Walgreens team leader at that store, was informed by coworker that two females were stealing items from the store. Boyd told police he saw the women putting items into a shopping cart and personal bag before exiting the store without paying.

Boyd also told officers that he was recording the women with his cell phone as he followed them out of the store and to the vehicle they were unloading the items into. The report from Metro police says Boyd went to the back of the vehicle where the women were when one of them began spraying mace at him.

Boyd says he pulled out a semi-automatic pistol as he was being maced and began firing shots, claiming he was in fear because he didn't know if they were armed.

The women took off in the car, and Boyd called 911 from inside the Walgreens store.

Travonsha Ferguson, 34, was shot during the altercation and taken to General Hospital by the other woman, who drove away after dropping her off and remains unidentified by police.

Boyd cooperated with detectives during the investigation. Investigators seized his gun used in the shooting and have taken possession of his cell phone.

Detectives will share the results of their investigation with the District Attorney's office to determine if Boyd will face charges.

Walgreens provided the following statement Thursday in regards to the shooting: "The safety of our patients, customers and team members is our top priority, and violence of any kind will not be tolerated at our stores. We take this matter seriously and are cooperating with local authorities."

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence, monkeypox and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

Sweet Sixteen Massacre: Mass Shooting In Dadeville, Alabama!

A young girl's party ruined. She loses her brother and five friends to senseless gun violence. The latest mass shooting in Dadeville, Alabama.

Another deadly mass shooting. This is the 193th mass shooting.

Graphic image in posting. Take discretion.

New Colin Flaherty-like creatures emerges. Just when you thought the noise of racial arsonists would disappear, more white extremists devoting their lives to concern trolling Black on Black violence. This bot account is literally showing images of dead Black teens.

So obviously, the far right will obsess with Black on whatever violence. Not gun violence, America's biggest crisis.

In the city of Dadeville, Alabama, a mass shooting at a sweet sixteen birthday party. Four people are dead and another community is rocked by the number one threat in the United States.

Gov. Kay Ivey, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) and the U.S. Representatives from Alabama were notified of this mass shooting. They will do the usual "thoughts and prayers" and "our hearts goes out to" as well as the Republicans saying that "now it's not the time to talk" bullshit.

These people don't have mental illness. They are calculated and prepared. It happened to be a moment where they have the opportunity to take out lives. There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem.

THE NICE GUY IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PERSON WITH A FIREARM. THOSE WHO ARE SPURN BY RELATIONSHIPS, THE WORKPLACE, SOCIETY IN GENERAL WILL SEEK REVENGE BY TAKING OUT LIVES. THEY WANT TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS OF MASSACRING THEIR FELLOW HUMAN BEING.

THE JUNK FOOD MEDIA AND POLITICIANS ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE BY AMPING UP POLARIZING RHETORIC.

An active shooter doesn't care about the politics, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, your finances, your family, your plans that day, your successes, your failures, and most importantly, your life.

The shooter is motivated within seconds to take out as many people as he/she can.

What to do to protect your life.

1. Run - If you hear sounds like firecrackers, popping sounds or suspicious activities around a large gathering (i.e. malls, stores, clubs, public gatherings), if you can flee, run away from the shooter. Do not run in a straight path of the sight. Move around and zig-zag if possible to keep yourself out the line of fire. It's best to not film a shooter commiting the act. If you are willing to risk your life for a viral video, more power to you but its best to stay out of the line of fire by running away.

2. Hide - If you are involved in an active shooting, you must barricade yourself in a room and keep doors locked, lights off, phones on silent. Do not go into restrooms, lockers and kitchens. Those are most likely places where shooters often go. If you can barricade a room to prevent a shooter from getting in, it eliminate the opportunity for the shooter to get through. Make sure you keep your voice low when you're involved in mass shooting. Call 9-1-1 if you can.

3. Fight - If you are willing to risk your life or willing to film the incident, you have no choice but to fight. Make sure you grab something that is powerful enough to disarm a shooter. Do not confront a shooter in the midst of sight. Make yourself not visible if you're trying to fight. Do not think being a "good guy with a gun" is going to stop a bad guy. The cops don't see good guys trying to stop bad guys. They see active shooters and they will shoot anyone who is armed regardless of the matter. If you're ready to fight, be prepared to die. It's best to not be easily seen if you're trying to stop a shooter. If you're a conceal carry and attempt to disarm an active shooter, you are willing to sacrifice your life to save lives. You are willing to go hero, you could die a hero or an idiot.

According to the far rightWhite shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanics and Asians shooters are illegal immigrants. Almost all mass shooters are registered Democrats because they have liked one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white. They say a white person should "protect" from protesters and use of firearms are justified. They say if a shooter is active military or a veteran who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox and they force it into national news. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms. The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

Republicans solutions are more guns, blame others for America's social ills and defect from accepting reality.

On April 15, a mass shooting occurred in Dadeville. More than 20 people were shot, and four people died. The shooting took place at a 16th birthday celebration, and most of the victims were teenagers. The shooting took place at the old Dadeville bank, at 220 N. Broadnax St, which had been converted into the Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio in 2021.

"The investigation is a result of a shooting which occurred at approximately 10:34 p.m. near the 200 Block of Broadnax Street in Dadeville, located in Tallapoosa County. Currently, there have been four confirmed fatalities and multiple injuries," ALEA said.

"The following agencies responded to the scene and are currently assisting with the investigation: The Dadeville Police Department, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Alcohol, the Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the 5 Circuit District Attorney’s Office. Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing."

Local officials gave few details about the incident at their initial press conference besides confirming the shooting unfolded at a birthday party.

The White House told Fox News that Biden has been briefed on the shooting in Dadeville.

"The White House is closely monitoring and has been in touch with local officials and law enforcement to offer support," the statement added.

"This morning, I grieve with the people of Dadeville and my fellow Alabamians. Violent crime has NO place in our state, and we are staying closely updated by law enforcement as details emerge," Ivey tweeted Sunday morning.

Officials have not revealed the exact number of surviving victims, but a photo taken by a witness showed the bodies of at least six teenagers on the ground, according to BNO News.

According to the outlet, a witness at the scene said the total number of victims was higher than six, including multiple people who died at the scene. The witness observed white sheets covering the bodies.

Someone shared death.
A photo posted to Twitter shows multiple families gathered outside a local hospital following the incident.

Susan Foy, the Chief Marketing Director of Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, located about 18 miles from Dadeville, called the incident a "horrific tragedy."

She confirmed to Fox News the hospital treated multiple victims and released them. Several victims with gunshot wounds have had to be transferred to other hospitals to better tend to their specific wounds/injuries. Of the victims treated at the medical center, she had no word on any fatalities. Foy would not get into ages of victims or a specific number. The hospital is a small, rural facility with just 81 beds. It’s not rare to transfer patients to other facilities that have access to more specialists.

Fox News Digital also has reached out to the Dadeville Police Department and the Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Office for comment.

Officials have not said if any arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

You're not safe in the school, the concert, the bank, the hospital, the church, the casino, the bus station, the subway, the light rail train, the buses, the malls, the local big box store, the political rally, the protest rally, the women's center for reproductive surgeries, the mosque, the synagogue, the state buildings, the workplace, the gas station, the family picnic, the food truck rally, the funerals, the birthday parties, the graduations, the wedding, the televised events, the sporting events and many more events that have some terrorist with a firearm. Domestic violence, suicide, racism, culture war inspired, politically motivated and international operatives inspired are types of gun violence.

With Republicans in charge of the House of Representatives, the only thing they'll offer to every mass shooting is "thoughts and prayers", "our hearts going out to", "the good guy with a gun", and their most common phrase "now it's not the time to politicize these tragedies."

Use the hashtag #ignorethenoise whenever you deal with folks who embrace this.

The ban of semiautomatic rifles and bump stock assortments has always been a a problem.

Republicans refuse to support the ban of these type of weapons.

Young teen loses brother to gun violence.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

Deadly Sunset: Mass Shooting In Louisville!

Aftermath. A series of mass shootings in Louisville. The shootings happened only a week after the Old National Bank mass shooting.

Two more mass shootings. This is the 192th mass shooting.

Gov. Andy Beshear, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and the Kentucky U.S. Representatives were notified again. Another deadly mass shooting in Louisville, days after a white extremist murdered five bank employees.

Louisville mayor getting tired of dealing with mass shootings. He once again call for state and federal lawmakers to do something other than offer prayers.

Police are investigating after 2 people were killed and 4 others injured after shots were fired into a crowd of people in Chickasaw Park on Saturday night.

Calls came in around 9 p.m. on reports of a shooting at the park, according to Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley.

Officers responded and found two people shot and killed at the scene and four others who had been injured in the shooting.

The four injured victims were taken to University Hospital. One victim is in critical condition, while the other three victims’ conditions are currently unknown.

No other details on the victims were available.

“This is frustrating,” LMPD Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey said. “This is very frustrating. I know Monday was a very high profile event, but for LMPD, for EMS, for (Louisville) Fire, University Hospital… for this community, this is every night.”

Police said there were reports that hundreds of people were inside the park at the time of the shooting.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the ongoing investigation. There are no suspects.

Two people are dead and one has been hospitalized after a shooting in the Old Louisville neighborhood Saturday morning, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.

LMPD responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of East Burnett Avenue just before 4:30 a.m., LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley said.

Multiple people shot at Chicksaw Park and the Old Louisville neighborhood.

Officers learned that three people had been shot. One was a man who was pronounced dead at the scene, Smiley said. The other two, a man and a woman, were transported to UofL Hospital.

The man was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital while the woman remains in surgery. Her condition has not been released at this time, Smiley said.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified one of the victims as 28-year-old Jamal Malone.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the ongoing investigation. Officials said the relationship, if any, between the three who were shot is unknown at this time.

These shootings came at the heels of Monday’s mass shooting at Old National Bank in downtown Louisville, where five people were killed and eight people injured, including three LMPD officers.

As of Saturday evening, six patients have been discharged from the hospital, according to UofL Health.

Officer Nickolas Wilt remains in critical condition after being shot in the head responding to Monday’s shooting. One other patient remains in stable and fair condition.

Anyone with any information is asked to call LMPD’s anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD (5673) or use the online crime tip portal.

Another shooting in Louisville.

Did you know that Washed Up 45, Mike Pence, Asa Hutchinson, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Kristi Noem, Chris Sununu, Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis attended the NRA Convention in Indianapolis?

Anyway, the NRA continues to push asinine arguments against gun control. Republicans seeking endorsement and campaign funds for potential 2024 presidential ambitions flock to this event.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence, monkeypox and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

You Notice Most Intelligence Leakers Are......

White man shares classified documents on Discord.

I will say that you will never see a Black man in U.S. military intelligence spill classified or highly secretive documents. I've notice that most of these people who leak U.S. secrets are not people of color.

Anyway, the Republicans are rallying behind a Massachusetts Air National Guard who js accused of spreading intelligence over Discord. To make matters worse, he was a 20-something with military clearance to access U.S. intelligence and surveillance procedures.

He shared that on social media and allowed China and Russia know the moves.

In April 2023, Jack Teixeira was arrested and charged with violating the Espionage Act and with unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents for allegedly removing hundreds and disclosing them on a Discord server.

He signed non-disclosure agreements and took an oath to serve the U.S. and its interests.

Somehow, his frustrations with society or the job managed to put him in a situation where he could be placed in federal time out for LIFE.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested Teixeira at his mother's residence in Dighton. The next day, Teixeira made his first appearance at the U.S. District Court in Boston before a U.S. magistrate judge, and the formal charging document was unsealed. He was charged with two offenses: (1) violating the Espionage Act by retaining and transmitting national defense information without authorization and (2) unauthorized removal and retention of classified information. Attached to the criminal complaint was a supporting affidavit from a special agent of the FBI Counterintelligence Division.

The documents leak began a diplomatic crisis between the U.S. and the Five Eyes, with officials in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine questioning the U.S. as to how the documents surfaced online. U.S. officials told allies that the Biden administration was investigating the leak. Wendy Sherman, the Deputy Secretary of State, has been tapped to lead the diplomatic response to the leak. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that "We will continue to investigate and turn over every rock until we find the source of this and the extent of it."

Privileged life ruined.

On the night of Teixeira's arrest, Fox News host Tucker Carlson falsely told viewers that the disclosure of fourteen American special forces members in Ukraine showed that the U.S. is "a direct combatant in a war against Russia. As we speak, American soldiers are fighting Russian soldiers." The insufferable Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tweeted that Teixeira "told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine." The special forces were not engaged in combat but rather detailed to the U.S. embassy in Kyiv to provide security for VIPs and to assist with oversight of U.S. equipment and supplies being sent to Ukraine.

According to a senior U.S. official, the Biden administration is looking into expanding its monitoring of social media sites as a result of the leak.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Return To Seats!

Officials from Nashville and Memphis reinstall Justin Jones and Justin Pearson.

Democratic state lawmakers Justin Jones and Justin Pearson are returning back to their respectable Tennessee House seats after being expelled by Republicans for violations of decor.

Their respective leaders from Nashville and Memphis have reinstated their positions.

They will have to run for reelection in a special election.

Jones and Pearson along with Gloria Johnson stood in solidarity with advocates of gun control after a mass shooting a private school in late March.

On March 30, thousands of protestors gathered at the Tennessee State Capitol to call for stricter gun control laws. Some children held signs saying "I'm nine" in reference to the age of the children shot. Within the chamber of the capitol, three state representatives, Justin Jones, Justin Pearson, and Gloria Johnson led the public gallery in chants of "no more silence", "we have to do better", and "gun reform now", demanding that lawmakers strengthen gun laws. This protest delayed a hearing on a bill which would expand gun access. The next day the state legislature passed a law allowing private schools to hire school resource officers from police departments to help prevent shootings, effective immediately.

On April 3, Johnson and Jones were stripped of their committee assignments, and alongside Pearson were notified that they could be expelled from the House. House Speaker Cameron Sexton said their actions were unacceptable, breaking rules of decorum and procedure. Jones and Pearson were expelled from the House on April 6, with the vote to expel Johnson failing by a single vote. Within a week, they were reinstated in interim capacities—the Nashville Metropolitan Council unanimously voted to reinstate Jones, and the Shelby County Board of Commissioners unanimous voted to reinstate Pearson. The case garnered national attention.

This whole ordeal spotlights how Republicans enjoy moving on from discussing racism, gun violence and income inequality.

Republicans targeted Black men who dare spoke out against injustice.

Gov. Bill Lee, an ignorant Republican governor made Tennessee a 2nd Amendment friendly state.

Lee signed an executive order Tuesday to tighten the background check process in the state, citing recent "recent tragedies" like the Nashville shooting that left three children and three adults dead at a private religious school.

The executive order requires responsible parties to ensure that all criminal history and court mental health information is entered into the Tennessee Instant Check System or provided to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation within 72 hours. The executive order also directs those entities to determine how the process for submitting such information can be improved, and report to the governor's office and state legislature within 60 days.

Lee's executive order said that "recent tragedies in Nashville and throughout our nation have demonstrated the devastating impact of firearms possession by those intending to cause harm to themselves or others and underscore the need for more effective instant background checks" and "effective instant background checks rely on information that is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner."

Lee has also called for state lawmakers to pass a so-called "red flag" law that would enable authorities to temporarily remove guns from people who might endanger themselves and others. While some GOP-led states have passed red flag laws, they remain polarizing among Republicans, some of whom view the laws as limiting individual rights without sufficient due process. After the 2018 shooting in Parkland, Florida, 18 states and D.C. implemented such laws, and a bipartisan gun control bill passed by Congress last year boosted federal funding to incentivize more states to enact their own versions.

Out Of Service!

Deliberately blocking access to a public restroom.

You travel and you end up stopping at a gas station. When you arrive, you notice the gas station's restroom is out of order or perhaps you will need a key or likely they gonna tell you that there are no public restrooms.

Back in the day, many companies made you pay to use the restroom. There are few pay restrooms in the country. In order to deter people from using the restroom, they block access, turn off lights, put signs on the door, lock the doors and make excuses.

Gas stations, laundromats, restaurants and general retail stores in urban areas are not offering public restrooms or placing theft detection devices near restrooms.

Yeah, I detest vandalism and filthy restrooms, but it won't stop me from using them.

Yes, theft happens. I get it. But it should not be a reason for denying access to public restrooms.

Yes, people use drugs, have sex, eat, sleep and defecate in restrooms. That should not be an excuse to deny public restrooms.

Okay, I visited Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Dayton, Ohio gas stations when I have to use the restroom. Some of these gas stations are in urban neighborhoods. When I enter and see the directions to the restroom, I see out of service.

Now you know that is a frustrating thing to walk in to.

But it is a common problem in Black and Brown neighborhoods. And I am angry about it.

Apparently it is legal for companies to deter customers from using public restrooms.

I see this trend as an example of how culture wars impact the bottom line.

Since some are private businesses, they have the right to make the decision.

But companies like Circle K, 7 Eleven, Speedway, Pilot/Flying J/Mr. Fuel and national brands are obligated to serve the needs of the customer. However, several stores play the game.

You Wanna Pardon A Racist Killer, Greg Abbott?

Republicans really want to support this guy.

Revealed.

The killer who shot a Black Lives Matter protester in Austin is expected to be sentenced.

Gov. Greg Abbott is considering pardoning and commuting the sentence of this killer. But it was a shocking reveal of the killer's social media that showed that he had no remorse for his actions. He literally wanted to start trouble and use the Texas "Stand Your Ground" laws to get off.

Republicans solutions are more guns, blame others for America's social ills and defect from accepting reality.

A jury has convicted a man who deliberately went to a protest to stir up trouble. He was convicted of murder of a protester in Texas. The District Attorney of Travis County, Texas had enough evidence to prove this was not self defense. The man went to trial, a jury saw the evidence as damning and voted guilty.

The Travis County Court released a trove of controversial social media posts from this killer.

The Texas Tribune reported the killer, whom Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has pledged to pardon for the murder of an Austin protester, often made racist comments and regularly made clear his desire to kill protesters in the months leading up to Garrett Foster’s death, according to social media posts and texts contained in newly unsealed court documents.

On May 29, 2020, days after George Floyd’s murder by a Minneapolis police officer prompted nationwide protests, the killer sent a text message saying, “I might go to Dallas to shoot looters.”

Two days later, according to the records, the killer said in a Facebook message that when he is in Dallas, “no protestors go near me or my car.”

“Can you catch me a negro daddy,” the other man replied.

“That is what I am hoping,” the killer said.

The court records, released Thursday, contain evidence pulled from the killer’s phone records and social media accounts. Prosecutors had filed the sealed 82-page document in March, but much of it was not brought before jurors. Information depicting a defendant’s character is often not allowed to be introduced while a jury weighs guilt versus innocence, but becomes relevant in a sentencing hearing.

The U.S. Army sergeant also sent racist and anti-Muslim messages before and after Floyd’s death. In April 2020, he sent a meme, which included a photo of a woman holding her child’s head under water in the bath, with the text, “WHEN YOUR DAUGHTERS FIRST CRUSH IS A LITTLE NEGRO BOY,” according to the state’s filing.

A year earlier, he messaged someone on Facebook looking for weekend work for active-duty military.

“To bad we can’t get paid for hunting Muslims in Europe,” he said.

The killer’s defense attorney Clint Broden declined to comment on the newly released court documents.

Legal carry still lead to a death. The killer claimed his life was in danger. He literally went to the protest rally to start trouble.

The killer, who is white, was convicted last week in Travis County in the shooting death of Foster in July 2020. The killer drove his car into a group of protesters, including Foster, a white Air Force veteran. Foster was carrying an AK-47, a legal act in Texas. The killer’s attorneys said at trial Foster raised his rifle, prompting the killer to shoot Foster five times through his car window with his handgun. Witnesses said Foster did not raise his rifle.

The case has become the center of a political firestorm, entrenched in the dangerously divisive rhetoric that often pits police supporters against racial justice advocates. Conservative politicians have rallied to the killer’s side, saying the act was purely self-defense in the face of dangerous protests. They’ve faulted the progressive prosecutor for pursuing the case.

Less than a day after the conviction, Abbott took the unprecedented step of declaring his intent to pardon the killet for the murder, requesting the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles hand him the legally required recommendation as soon as possible.

“Texas has one of the strongest ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws of self-defense that cannot be nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney,” Abbott’s Twitter post said, referring to Travis County District Attorney José Garza. “I look forward to approving the Board’s pardon recommendation as soon as it hits my desk.”

When asked if the newly revealed evidence affected the governor’s decision for a pardon recommendation, Abbott spokesperson Renae Eze said “all pertinent information is for the Board of Pardons and Paroles to consider, as this is part of the review process required by the Texas Constitution.”

The killer has not yet been sentenced. He faces between five years or life in prison — unless the parole board and Abbott intervene. The trial court judge will impose his sentence, not a jury, according to Broden.

On Friday, Garza reiterated that his office “continues to maintain that the Board of Pardons and Paroles should consider the entirety of the trial record prior to issuing a final recommendation to the governor.”

“This case is not yet concluded,” he said. “There is going to be even more additional evidence that the judge will hear at sentencing. We’re not even done with this yet.”
