Russia Wanted Blacks Out The Loop!

I seen this posting before. This was driven by a Russian troll farm.

Unveiled documents show that Russian troll farms were micro-targeting Black voters in Ohio, Florida, Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Alabama and Illinois.

Robert Mueller's investigation uncovers a deliberate plot to interfere in the U.S. elections. They even went after Mueller as soon as the investigation into Michael Flynn picked up.

They were running with the campaign to paint Hillary Clinton as the villain and Donald J. Trump as the "savior of Black culture."

They used platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Vine, Gab, Meetup, Vkontakete, Live Journal to spread discourse. The Russian troll farm encouraged folks to support Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein and Trump.

Posing as fed-up Amerians, the Internet Research Agency (IRA) would engage in the hot topics.

The IRA's goal was to deepen divisions in U.S. society and convince Democrat-favoring liberals — including Latinos, youths and the LGBTQ community — not to vote, the report said.

But the most extensive analysis yet of thousands of IRA ads and posts across social media platforms in 2015-2017 showed a special emphasis on provoking the anger of black Americans so that they would stay home on election day.

The IRA-created account "Blacktivist" sent out messages on the Democratic candidate such as: "No lives matter to Hillary Clinton. Only votes matter to Hillary Clinton."

Another IRA account, "Black Matters," posted on Facebook: "Cops kill black kids. Are you sure that your son won't be the next?"

The four story complex in St. Petersburg was the Russian government espionage and internet hacking center.

"It is evident that the campaigns sought to demobilize African Americans, LGBT, and liberal voters," said the report by the Computational Propaganda Project at Oxford University and social media specialists Graphika.

"These campaigns pushed a message that the best way to advance the cause of the African American community was to boycott the election and focus on other issues instead."

Separately, a portion of the 3,841 IRA accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube studied by the researchers sought to provoke Republican-leaning white Americans to get out and vote.

While the study did not draw any lines between the IRA propaganda and the election results — Republican Donald Trump stunned Clinton to take the White House — post-election data suggest some impact.

According to the Pew Research Center, white voter turnout surged in 2016 while black turnout sank by 5 percentage points, to 59.6 percent, from four years earlier.

Jill Stein is under federal watch. The former Green Party presidential nominee has ties to Russian oligarchs.

The IRA was set up by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a businessmen close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, as a domestic social media propaganda operation.

The study showed the IRA U.S. campaign began in 2015, aiming to mobilize conservative voters, with no specific backing for Trump at the time.

But as the then-candidate gained support, and especially when he drove his anti-immigrant message, the IRA posts turned in his favor.

The IRA had "coherent teams," formed around specific ideologies such as gun rights and LGBTQ issues, that directed posts using user profile data provided by advertising arms of the social media companies.

Pete Buttigieg Wants To Battle!

South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg is considering a run for the president.

The Rust Belt went to Donald J. Trump. Now Democrats from the Rust Belt are hoping that voters realize that his impact hasn't really changed the narrative. In states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Iowa, you have not seen much improvement.

Matter of fact, Michigan and Ohio were dealt blows. GM is closing three manufacturing plants.

Now it's time to call upon Mayor Pete. The mayor of the Midwestern town announced he wasn't running for a third term. He said that he's quietly talking to friends and family about his prospects.

South Bend is a town with 84,000 residents. The town is known for University of Norte Dame Fighting Irish and recreational vehicles and trailers.

Pete Buttigieg is another contender willing to take on this Goliath known as Trump.

While I believe Trump has a 70% chance of winning reelection, the Democrats are hoping he slips up. These next two years of Trump's term could be interesting.

Buttigieg could be the youngest active member running for President of the United States.

Buttigieg was born in South Bend, Indiana, to Joseph Buttigieg and Jennifer Ann (née Montgomery). He is of Maltese and Scottish descent. He is a Rhodes scholar and military veteran having serve the U.S. war in Afghanistan.

Buttigieg graduated from St. Joseph High School in 2000, where he was president and valedictorian of his senior class. In his senior year at St. Joseph's High School, he was honored by Caroline Kennedy and other members of President Kennedy's family during a May 22, 2000, ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Library for his prize-winning essay for the JFK Profiles in Courage Essay Contest.

Buttigieg;s winning essay centered on the integrity and political courage demonstrated by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, one of his nation's only Independent members of Congress.

He was also selected as one of two Indiana delegates to the United States Senate Youth Program.

Buttigieg is married to his husband Chasten Glezman. His announcement to run for president could be a first. If he does run and succeed in winning the nomination, he could be first openly gay Democratic nominee running for the President of The United States.

An article on the Washington Post's website, headlined "South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg moves toward Democratic presidential primary run,"  said his decision to not seek another mayoral term could "presage his attempt to vault from local to presidential politics.

The Post story said a run for the White House would offer Buttigieg "a chance to shape the debate over the party's direction and, potentially, expand his future options beyond his Republican-dominated state."

CNN posted a story on its website Monday morning about Buttigieg's decision "clearing the way for a potential 2020 presidential bid." And the Washington Times said the decision cleared "the decks for a possible bid for the Democratic presidential nomination."

For his part, Buttigieg would not comment on a presidential run. But he is scheduled to head to Des Moines later this week to speak at the Progress Iowa annual holiday party, the latest in a series of political speeches he has given across the country. He has a political action committee to help other progressive candidates. He is working with seasoned Democratic operatives. And his autobiography, "Shortest Way Home: One Mayor's Challenge and a Model for America's Future," is scheduled to be released in February, followed by a book tour.

No one doubts the mayor of a small town who has never run a sustained campaign for national office would face steep odds in a presidential race. But can Buttigieg attract attention, or make a dent in the debate, with a positive message about working to revitalize a struggling Midwest city?

Some key Democratic leaders think so, including Barack Obama's former political guru, David Axelrod. He told The Tribune in an interview last year, "As we look to the new generation of leaders, he's a natural person to be at the top of that list. The things he's done with his life, the things he's done in South Bend, his ability to reach people across the political divide. All those things are enormous assets."

And the Republican Party is at least paying attention — and sharpening its knives. In a statement released Monday, the regional spokesman for the Republican National Committee took some early shots at Buttigieg.

"Given all of the failures and gaffes as Mayor of South Bend and the lack of excitement around his candidacy, Buttigieg seems like the perfect candidate for a flailing Democratic party that doesn't stand a chance at defeating President Trump in 2020," the statement said.

Julián Castro Wants To Battle!

He's going in. Julian Castro is considering a run for president.

Remember this name rung a bell back in 2012. Now this young generation of Democratic leaders feels ready to take on a Goliath known as Donald J. Trump.

Julian Castro, the former Housing and Urban Development Secretary and former mayor of San Antonio, Texas is considering a run in 2020. One of the first serious candidates who might be a viable candidate.

Although, I give Trump a 70% chance of winning reelection, Americans are fickle and could tip the scale in favor of Democrats if the final two years of his term go badly.

Castro has taken his first steps. He has went to New Hampshire and delivered a commencement speech at New England College which some said that was a test for the raw deal.

He announced on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that he is considering a run. He already is planning on a formation of an exploratory committee.

Castro, has a twin brother named Joaquin. He is currently the U.S. Representative from Texas.

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) is supportive of his brother and potential candidate outgoing lawmaker Beto O'Rourke.

Julian Castro is married to his lovely wife Erica Lira Castro. They have two children from their marriage. He has daughter Carina and son Christian Julian Castro.

Lamar Alexander Bowing Out!

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) is out after 2020.

Another senator is retiring in 2020 setting up another competitive race in ruby red Tennessee. Republican senator Lamar Alexander is retiring and it will be another interesting attempt for Democrats to line up a candidate.

Alexander is getting old and he is probably getting fed up with the way things are in Washington.

Alexander was the 45th governor of Tennessee, a former fixture of George H.W. Bush's cabinet as a Secretary of Education. He was elected as senator in 2002 and served three terms. “I will not be a candidate for re-election to the United State Senate in 2020,” Alexander said in a statement announcing his decision.

He thanked the people of Tennessee, calling them generous.

"I am deeply grateful, but now it is time for someone else to have that privilege," said Alexander, who has served in roles ranging from governor and U.S. senator to leading the U.S. Department of Education and the University of Tennessee.

Alexander's decision means that for the second time in two years, Tennessee will have an open U.S. Senate race.

Like Republican Sen. Bob Corker, who last year declined to run for a third term, Alexander’s announcement will send shockwaves throughout Tennessee’s political landscape.

He replaced Fred Thompson who left Washington to join Hollywood and one time for president.

Alexander became the second senator in the Republican majority to announce a retirement or resignation.

Democratic former governor Phil Bredesen lost support when he openly bashed Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton. Bredesen said that he will support Brett Kavanaugh if he was a senator. Progressives abandoned him, Joe Manchin, Claire McCaskill and Joe Donnelly after they said they support Donald J. Trump on the controversial issues.

Now they have Marsha Blackburn, an avowed white extremist as the senator.

She was a do nothing U.S. Representative. She had little legislative accomplishments. Blackburn made more appearances on Fox News to talk shit and never once had an idea on fixing it. Blackburn is often rushing to the cameras and bashing Muslims and those in the LGBTQ community.

Outgoing lawmaker Diane Black is likely going to run for the seat. I wouldn't be surprised but if Glenn Thomas Jacobs ran for the seat. The mayor of Knox County was then a famous WWE wrestler.

Ever heard of Kane?

Anyway, Democrats be warned. Don't fall into the trap of trying to win over Trump supporters. Stay focus on the Democrats and younger voters. Quit appealing to a base of morons.

Mark Penn And Doug Schoen Scratch Trump's Back!

Mark Penn is a Trump supporter. He once ran Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. He is currently advising Donald Trump on how to avoid prosecution.

Mark Penn, a former pollster for Hillary Clinton is an adviser to that imbecile Donald J. Trump. The Fox News "Democrats" are being exposed as Trumpers.

Almost thirty years ago, Trump hired Penn to do some research on residents of a neighborhood he wanted to develop one of his properties on.

He was bashing the Blue Wave. The pollster was a leading voice against the Democratic leadership appointing Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House again.

Penn is a sharp critic of Robert Mueller's investigation into Trump and Russia.

Penn wrote some piece for The Hill blasting Democrats for the mere thought of impeachment. The piece was picked up by The Drudge Report, Breitbart and soon found a place in Fox News programming. Then of course, Trump praised the Penn piece.

It was revealed by The Daily Beast, Mark Penn and Democratic pollster Doug Schoen were advising Trump from the very start.

So it was a deliberate attempt and a move to undermine the Blue Wave.

The two often appear on Tucker Carlson, Sean "Softball" Hannity and Fox & Friends, three programs that Trump watches.

Not once Penn or Schoen mentioned their ties to Trump.

Penn's columns in The Hill routinely attack the president's political and legal adversaries. In his most recent column, published last Monday, Penn went after federal prosecutors in New York and Washington who have targeted the president and his associates.

But neither that column nor any other he's written has revealed Penn's past business ties to Trump. Nor has that biographical detail been mentioned in the frequent TV appearances he's made on Fox News, in which he often attacks the president's critics. The Hill did not return a request for comment and Fox News declined to comment.

Instead, it is Penn's time working on behalf of President Bill Clinton during the Ken Starr investigations that is offered as proof that he brings not only an unbiased take on the current political debates, but the experience of someone who worked on the other side of the ledger.

The disclosure on his columns in The Hill, where he has published numerous pieces going after Special Counsel Robert Mueller, notes that "He served as pollster and adviser to President Clinton from 1995 to 2000, including during Clinton's impeachment." A Politico Magazine profile noted that Penn was "a member of a small club of Democrats in Washington shaped by Whitewater and the independent counsel investigation it spawned." A June 2018 Wall Street Journal column that focused on Penn's outspoken criticism of the federal investigation into Russian election meddling, was headlined, "A Democrat Dissents on the Mueller Probe." In an Aug. 24 Fox Business interview, host Maria Bartiromo called Penn a "straight shooter" who "used to work for the Clintons."

Doug Schoen is a fixture on Sean "Softball" Hanntiy's right wing carnival.

In an email statement to The Daily Beast, Penn said that there is a reason his past relationship with Trump has not been revealed in his various media appearances. It’s because it wasn’t really a relationship at all.

"Thirty years ago, [my partner] Doug Schoen brought in Trump and the Trump organization as a minor client to a firm neither of us has been associated with for nearly a decade. I never met his then client, Donald Trump, and, as I recall, Schoen had trouble collecting payment for his work, and had to settle largely for shuttle tickets that then became worthless," Penn said. "Resurfacing this old news is a off-base attempt to find some irrelevant link from 30 years ago to work I didn’t do for a firm I’m no longer with, and that is not in any way related to my positions against independent counsels or as a moderate Democrat that have been consistent for over 40 years."

"If you have to go back some 30 years to try to find some link, that’s because there is none," he added. "I have no relationship with Donald Trump nor the Trump Organization."

Penn & Schoen's history with Trump does extend beyond the brief consideration of the world's largest building. According to Gwenda Blair's book, Donald Trump: The Candidate, Trump had the firm, which is no longer in existence, conduct polling for him as he contemplated making a run for the presidency in 1988. Blair wrote that the firm found Trump with a 75 percent name recognition among likely Republican voters. Reached for comment, Blair said she didn't have access to the survey. But a former member of the Penn & Schoen team confirmed it was done.

Feds Search For Murderer Who Skipped Town Nearly 50 Years Ago!

Ohio killer is still on the loose.

The U.S. Marshals are searching for an Ohio fugitive who skipped bail in 1973.

The Marshals are looking for Lester Eubanks.

On December 1965, Eubanks strolled into a shopping center and decided to abduct, rape and kill a 14 year old girl while living in Mansfield, Ohio. The victim was Mary Ellen Deneer, a 14 year old girl who was going to school. She was bludgeoned to death. He returned back to see her gasping for breath. Then he decided to smash a brick into her head.

In December 1973, Eubanks was allowed to stroll unescorted into a shopping center in Columbus.

“The U.S. Marshals are not deterred by the passage of time when it comes to cases like this one,” U.S. Marshal Peter Elliott of the Northern District of Ohio said in a statement. “We are fueled by one thing, and that is justice for 14-year-old Mary Ellen Deener of Mansfield, Ohio, the innocent victim in this case.”

On May 25, 1966, a jury found Eubanks guilty of the crimes and sentenced him to death. In 1972, Eubanks’ death sentence was commuted to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The U.S. Marshals gave America a portrait of a killer.

Eubanks, who would now be 75, is believed to be alive and living under an alias, according to the agency.

Investigative leads over the years have placed him in Michigan and California, and officials said his whereabouts remain a mystery. A reward of up to $25,000 is available for information leading to his arrest.

Deputy U.S. Marshal David Siler said that Eubanks may have changed his appearance, used aliases and even started a new life.

“He literally could be hiding in plain sight,” Siler said. “This is why we are asking citizens to be vigilant and contact us with any information they believe will help us apprehend him.”

Eubanks is described by officials as a 5 foot, 11 inches tall black male with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a mole under his left eye.

At the time of his disappearance in 1973, he weighed approximately 175 pounds. Eubanks may be using the alias “Victor Young,” according to federal officials.

Anyone with information on Eubanks or his possible whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102.

Russia Ain't Rapping Much!

Russian rapper Husky is being targeted by Russian operatives and Vladimir Putin.

Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin said that hip-hop music must be "lead and directed" in a fiery speech in St. Petersburg.

The explosion of rap music in Russia spurred President Vladimir Putin to call for cultural leaders on Saturday to devise a means of controlling its role for youth culture instead of an outright ban, saying it otherwise will lead to the decay of the nation.

The Russian leader made the comments during a meeting in St. Petersburg, where he told cultural leaders that they must come up with a means to "lead it and direct it," according to Sky News.

Putin noted that "rap is based on three pillars: sex, drugs and protest." But he is particularly concerned with drug themes prevalent in rap, saying "this is a path to the degradation of the nation."

He added that "drug propaganda" is believed to be worse than cursing.

Putin instructed the Kremlin to put a halt to hip-hop music. He is working on shutting the music genre down.

This was in regards to popular Russian rapper Husky (born Ulan-Ude).

The most powerful leader in the world is Vladimir Putin.

Husky, who raps in Russian and whose songs have been critical of the government, was arrested last month and imprisoned for 12 days before a massive outcry led to his release, according to Reuters.

The 25-year-old claimed his concerts were canceled because officials objected to his lyrics, which focus on poverty, corruption and police brutality. After a concert was canceled on Nov. 21, he tried to perform on the roof of a car while surrounded by hundreds of fans before he was taken away by police.

On Nov. 30, rapper Gone.Fludd announced two concert cancellations, citing pressure from "every police agency you can imagine," while the popular hip hop artist Allj cancelled his show in the Arctic city of Yakutsk after receiving threats of violence.

The Russian leader on Saturday said that taking a heavy-handed approach to quell rap music is unproductive, and said the country would be better to take an alternative approach.

“If it’s impossible to stop something, you’ve got to take charge of it," he said.

Federal Judge Rules Obamacare Unconstitutional!

Trump and his minions are trying to destroy the Affordable Care Act.

Today is the final days of enrollment and of course, people weren't notified as much. Obviously, Republicans have sabotage the efforts to get people insured.

The Affordable Care Act once again comes into the courtroom. A far right U.S. federal judge from Texas called the ACA (aka Obamacare) unconstitutional.

The ruling could strip millions of Americans from finding quality healthcare.

Reed O'Conner, is a U.S. Federal District Judge who was picked by George W. Bush in 2007 decided to undermine millions of Americans who depend on affordable health care.

Judge Reed O'Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas issued the opinion in a lawsuit brought in February by Republican officials in 20 states led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Those officials contended that the entire law should be stricken because Congress earlier this year repealed the fines known as "shared responsibility payments" that people without health coverage had to pay under the Affordable Care Act's individual mandate. O'Connor agreed.

He ruled the ACA unconstitutional because the individual mandate was "no longer fairly read as an exercise of Congress's Tax Power and is still impermissible under the Intersate Commerce Clause --- meaning the Individual Mandate is unconstitutional.

Donald J. Trump hailed the decision as a victory.

If the ruling stands, the Affordable Care Act's insurance regulations would disappear and, along with them, the health coverage for millions of people who gained private insurance or Medicaid coverage under the 2010 law signed by President Barack Obama. Specifically, the law's guarantee of coverage for people regardless of their pre-existing conditions, financial assistance for private insurance, rules establishing a basic minimum set of benefits insurance policies must cover and more would vanish. Since O'Connor's ruling throws out the entire statute, the rest of the ACA, such as its expansion of Medicaid to low-income adults, also is stricken.

Bush appointed judge is a racist.

In short, this ruling would deal severe damage to the American health care system. It also would eradicate one of Obama's most significant accomplishments. According to an analysis by the Urban Institute, eliminating the Affordable Care Act would increase the national uninsured rate by 50 percent and lead to more than 17 million people losing health coverage.

Are you motivated to vote in 2019 and 2020?

I've had enough of the bullshit from Republicans and conservatives. I had enough of Donald J. Trump. Let's keep the pressure on advertisers of conservative agitators. Let's keep the pressure on lawmakers by showing up to town halls. Don't let the lawmakers sleep. Keep them awake knowing that we're going to oust them from power if they mess with progress.

The Weekly Standard Folds!

Longtime conservative publication The Weekly Standard will cease publication after 23 years.

The owner of the Standard, Clarity Media Group announced on Friday that the magazine will print its final issue on December 17.

Stephen Hayes, met privately with Ryan McKibben, the chairman of Clarity Media Group to announce the magazine is closing down. The media group is owned by Philip Anschutz.

It was created by neoconservative and anti-Trump activist Bill Kristol and Fred Barnes.

It was founded as the "redoubt of neoconservatism" and dubbed the "neo-con bible."

Donald J. Trump decided to dance on the grave of the publication by taking a cheap shot at Kristol.

The pathetic and dishonest Weekly Standard, run by failed prognosticator Bill Kristol (who, like many others, never had a clue), is flat broke and out of business. Too bad. May it rest in peace!

The Standard was very prominent during the George W. Bush era. They encouraged him to engage in the War in Afghanistan and War in Iraq.

Bush and Dick Cheney were both fans of The Weekly Standard.

The Standard was intially published by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation before being sold to Clarity in 2009.

Wisconsin governor Scott Walker decided to sign off legislation that would limit powers to incoming governor Tony Evers.

This is a bold move for Republicans. They decided to pass controversial legislation that would limit powers to the governor, secretary of state and attorney general.

Walker who bucked the notion claim that this has law will "do nothing to fundamentally diminish executive authority. The bottom line is the new govenror will continue to be one of the most powerful chief executives in the country."

The legislation is designed to effectively prevent Evers and attorney general elect Josh Kaul from delivering on their campaign promises, including one bill that would require permission from the state legislature before the state's executive branch could make waivers or changes to public assistance programs, including the work and drug testing requirements for "able body" individuals.

The Republicans decided to pass this in an attempt to undermine the voters.

House Speaker Robin Vos admitted that he wanted to undermine "a very liberal governor who is going to enact policies that are in direct contrast to what many of us believe in."

The bill also reduces early voting days and gives state legislature the right to make decisions on whether they say or remove themselves from multi-state lawsuits.

Tony Evers vows to go to war with Republicans.

Evers plans on taking the matter in federal court as soon as he takes office. He also signals he will ignore their law.

Walker who lost his reelection bid survived a recall election and reelection. During his time, he tried to run for president. During his ill-fated run, he would end up losing to Donald J. Trump.

Other Republican state legislatures are doing the same. In Michigan, the state legislature is working on doing the same to governor elect Gretchen Whitmer.

The lame-duck session of Congress is trying to pass the funding for the border wall. Trump vows to shut down the government if they don't get funding for the border wall.

Famed jazz singer Nancy Wilson passed away. She passed away in California. As a native of Chillicothe, Ohio, Wilson was American singer whose career spanned over five decades, from the mid–1950s until her retirement in the early–2010s. She was notable for her single "(You Don't Know) How Glad I Am" and her version of the standard "Guess Who I Saw Today".

She made her debut with her 1961's single, "Guess Who I Saw Today."

Wilson's biggest hit came in 1964 with "(You Don't Know) How Glad I Am," which rose through the charts to the #11 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 singles and earned her a Grammy Award for best R&B recording.

She would win two more Grammy Awards, in 2005 and 2007.

In the 1990s, Wilson became the host of National Public Radio's "Jazz Profiles," a documentary series featuring jazz legends and the music legacy.

After a musical and acting career spanning more than six decades, she retired from live performances in 2011. She wanted "to spend all of her time with her family, especially her grandchildren," according to her website.
