A woman faints and the president catches her. Conservatives go bananas over it. |
Where's Erick Erickson when you need him?
He said that all this overreaction to everything that President Barack Obama does is going to doom the Republicans and its conservatives allies.
Erickson is right. There are too many outrage pimps on both sides of the aisle whipping the respective bases into a frenzy and fury against the other side. Americans shouldn't waste their time on being outraged by all things Obama. It's going to tune people out.
Erickson wrote that his conservative friends in the junk food media are spending too much time getting outraged over the most simplistic things caused by the president. He said that it makes conservatives sound like a bunch of sore losers. Americans find Republicans in charge of Congress is a bad idea. The plans rolled out by Republicans aren't effective. The Republican Party and it's conservative allies are stuffy, humorless, angry opponents of the President instead of happy warriors selling better ideas.
Conservatives, frankly, have become purveyors of outrage instead of preachers for a cause. Instead of showing how increasing government harms people, how free markets help people, and how conservative policies benefit all Americans, we scream “Benghazi” and “Fast & Furious.”
Erickson was right on two things. Examples like King Hippo (Rush Limbaugh), That Guy Who Throws Shit On The Wall (Matt Drudge), Loserville (Fox News) and That Guy Who Helped Obama Win (Sean Hannity) are professional victims dialed up to 10 on the outrage meter.
Who the hell wants to listen to conservatives whining and moaning all the time about the outrage du jour?
Perennial loser Mitt Romney ran a campaign on just how bad things are, but he was rejected by a majority of Americans who felt like he really did not care about them and really had no plans to improve their lives.

He said that Republicans can win if they have a "decent message" and appeal to people who aren't focused on the president 24/7. It seems like I mention these four notorious agitators frequently.
I am hoping that these agitators will be the sole reasons to helping Democrats retake the Congress and win the 2016 presidency. If these things should happen, maybe conservatives will turn off the radio and find other sources of news.

When it splashes on That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall's website. Liberal and conservative agitators will talk about this story and work their audience into a frenzy.
The person who fainted will get death threats and ferocious vitriol from the internet gadflies.
Some gadflies will try to leak her photos to the press. Some will try to find her social networking activities and exploit them for personal gains.
The person will make the news rounds. For the time being, she'll be the face of the nation.
She even has a blog. So I am expecting that within a few days, she'll be hit with random comments. Some of the word vomit will include death threats, insults on her character, praise and sympathy.
The president has to admit that Affordable Healthcare Act (Healthcare Marketplace) website has errors and he was telling the American people that you must have patience. He offered a number to help people out if they're having problems signing up.
Of course, Republicans pounced on the healthcare law and they've signaled another attempt to delay or repeal the law.
Sometimes you can't fix stupid. And yet, the Republicans continue on this wayward march to self-destruction.
President Obama's speech on Monday morning was briefly interrupted when a young woman standing behind him appeared to come close to fainting. The president turned around to make sure she was alright, saying, "I got you, you're ok," before she was helped away by others nearby.
The woman, identified as Karmel Allison, suffers from Type 1 diabetes. She also announced on her blog last week that she is pregnant.
"This is what happens when I talk too long," Obama joked before wrapping up his speech.
Of course we here at Journal de la Reyna wish Karmel Allison well. Hope the best for her on her journey to motherhood. Stay strong and ignore the vitriol of hate from the likes of those in the junk food media.
