To fans of La Reyna's Journal,
Here's more cringe-worthy commentary regarding Karen Finney's race. It looks like they didn't get the memo from Dr. Martin Luther King regarding judging the character of the person, not race. It seems like conservatives can't get past race. Here's the commentary from VDARE writer James Fulford regarding Mrs. Finney:
Karen Finney And The Limits Of Affirmative Action
By James Fulford on February 6, 2013 at 3:59pm
Pictured right is Karen Finney, whose bio describes her as the "first African American spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee."
Editing Alexander Hart's piece last night, I was trying to find out who the female host was in the video with Jonathon Capehart and Touré.
I assume Ms. Finney has a reasonable amount of talent for journalism or politics, but it's also obvious that her career is the better for her almost invisible affirmative action qualification:
"Karen’s more than 20 years in national politics includes four presidential campaigns, the Clinton White House, a New York Senate race, and first African American spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee. Karen has also worked to improve public education in the public and private sectors. "
Karen Finney takes her heritage quite seriously—she was criticized for ranting about “crazy crackers on the right” who use “hateful language”.
The justification for affirmative action is supposed to be the legacy of racism. The reason it's still deemed necessary is that many blacks, in a phrase that got Al Campanis fired, "may not have some of the necessities" to handle intellectual tasks as well as whites, and therefore need a leg up.
If this recognized "test score gap", whether in college applications or firemen's civil service tests is due to heredity, it's obvious that Karen Finney has almost no African heredity at all. She may be a Mayflower descendent.
If, on the other hand, it has absolutely nothing to do with heredity, but is only due to prejudice against people's color, well, again I don't see where Ms. Finney qualifies.
And there are a lot of people like her in positions of serious power. Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to the President of the United States, looks like Mary Tyler Moore after one day of tanning at the beach. To the extent that any of these people have experience prejudice, it's always been in their favor.
People like Graham, Fulford, Coulter, Buchanan, Bill O'Reilly, Steve Sailer, the late David Yeagley, American Renaissance people, etc., are so quick to judge Blacks by complexion and features.
Can't these people leave multiracial and light-skinned Black people alone?

Another Helping Of The Mud Pie...
Been whipped by the slave master raise your hands! |
Briefly, earlier I posted the story about Black conservatives whining about being shunned by the rest of the Black community.
They head over to Loserville and have a sitdown with "That Guy Who Helped Obama Win" to complain about how "us Black folk" are never freed slaves. They say those evil Democrats are whipping the backs of the Black community by keeping us in the poorhouse. These Black conservatives devoted time to every stereotype they've pulled out their backside.
Dr. Benjamin Carson, Jesse Lee Peterson, Deneen Borelli, David Webb, Star Parker and many Black conservatives are screaming their right to be outright bigots are violated.
Newsflash: Democrats nominated and the American public elected the first Black president. |
Understand this. I don't have nothing against Black conservatives. They have a right to be the condescending, reactionary, bigots they've made themselves out to be.
We don't have to agree to the crap they've thrown on the wall. But for every time they've said something about Blacks being enslaved or Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. being a Republican, a few more Blacks vote Democrat.
Meet The Guy Who Helped Barack Obama Win! |
Austerity cuts to safety nets and intrusive laws are not favored among Black voters.
Unemployment is at an all time high among Black voters. But many including myself feel there's a possibility of institutional racism in hiring Black workers and home buying.
Many Americans are concerned with the cost of living. While food prices, gas prices, and energy rates go up, many are looking for safety nets. The Republican Party wants to eliminate safety nets in case of a person losing a home to foreclosure or natural disaster. The party wants to cut welfare, unemployment, farm aid, and food stamps. Things that affect the middle class and the poor.
These Black conservatives claim the Democratic Party keeps Black Americans poor. That right there is a condescending talking point. If they realize that for over 154 years, Blacks were undermined since they've allowed segregation among the races.
Black conservatives hate Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton because they're effective! |
Although it's likely going to get even more browner in the future, Black Americans are the only race that's undermined by those in the junk food media.
You notice that guy never invited Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell to the Loserville forum.
These issues aren't mentioned by those in the mud pie!
Black Woman Lies White, Gets Job Interview!
Yolonda Spivey, an unemployed woman creates a fake profile as a White woman to seek jobs |
Special thanks to David Packman, EurWeb and Addicting Info for putting this out.
Okay, I've said it too many times. It's nearly harder for a person of color to find a job in this economy.
Whenever Black conservatives point fingers at the Democratic Party for the outlandish conditions due to economic turmoils within the Black community, they've always painted a political opponent solely responsible for the outcome.
The David Packman Show, a liberal talk radio host who streams his programs through YouTube and the liberal news agitator website Addicting Info brings forth a story about Yolanda Spivey, a unemployed woman who decided to challenge a claim that so many people of color longed complained about.
Today's society thinks of Blacks as "natural born criminals". Black males are always singled out in regards to rape, gun crime, violence towards White people and lousy workers. In the conservative/White supremacist bubble, anything that comes from the likes of That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall, is certain to draw their ire.
The first Black president, Barack Obama is a representative of empowerment and strength within the Black community. The conservative/White supremacist bubble undermines this success as another "affirmative action Nigger!" This is why you hear crap about Black communities being ruined by Democrats and Black leaders. The condescending rhetoric from the likes of these people are certain to rile up Black voters.
Failure to understand that the real issues keep Blacks down. Institutional racism is a perceived fear of a Black worker. Institutional racism describes any kind of system of inequality based on race. It can occur in institutions such as public government bodies, private business corporations (such as media outlets), and universities (public and private).
Persistent negative stereotypes fuel institutional racism, and influence interpersonal relations. Racial stereotyping contributes to patterns of racial residential segregation, and shape views about crime, crime policy, and welfare policy, especially if the contextual information is stereotype-consistent. A great percentage of white Americans rate Black Americans and Latino Americans as less intelligent, preferring to live from welfare benefits rather than work, and “more difficult to get along with socially”.
Institutional racism is distinguished from racial bigotry by the existence of institutional systemic policies, practices and economic and political structures which place non-white racial and ethnic groups at a disadvantage in relation to an institution’s white members. One example is public school budgets (including local levies and bonds) and the quality of teachers, which in the U.S. are often correlated with property values: rich neighborhoods are more likely to be more 'white' and to have better teachers and more money for education, even in public schools.
Restrictive housing contracts and bank lending policies have also been listed as forms of institutional racism.
Other examples are racial profiling by security guards and police, use of stereotyped racial caricatures (e.g. "Indian" sport mascots), the under- and mis-representation of certain racial groups in the junk food media, and race-based barriers to gainful employment and professional advancement. Additionally, differential access to goods, services, and opportunities of society can be included within the term institutional racism, such as unpaved streets and roads, inherited socio-economic disadvantage, “standardized” tests (each ethnic group prepared for it differently; many are poorly prepared), et cetera.
EurWeb and Techyville report that this experiment is controversial and it's giving credence to the Black community's claims that it's harder to work if you're Black!
Yolanda Spivey, an insurance professional, could not understand how the offers simply dried up for her after being in the insurance industry for an entire decade. She was out of a job for two years before it occurred to her that she might need to further her education, according to Techyville.
She went back to school and finished her degree, but the job opportunities did not increase. She was still in a rut until a young white woman who graduated with her told her how she had applied for a job as a clerk, but was given an executive position simply because a fellow white woman in Human Resources “just liked her.”
A lightbulb went off in her head! Why don’t I apply as a white woman? She found that her experiment yielded numerous immediate results. She was an overnight success story when she applied online as Bianca White. Some interviewers called her more than once seeking an interview with her.
But, while she became an overnight sensation with employers, she was not shocked at the results. Check out her experiment here and the online experience that may shock you.
Black conservatives failed to see that they're just Niggers like the Black liberals. It doesn't matter what political affiliation you have, in the minds of White conservative males, you're just NIGGERS!
Those Black conservatives are NIGGERS who know their place!

Right Outrage Over Melissa Harris-Perry!
Melissa Harris-Perry is being attacked by the conservative nuts over her television promo. |
The MSNBC commentator is a protege of Rachel Maddow and Al Sharpton. She hosts a weekend program for two hours on the liberal news channel.
The conservatives are screaming out their ears over a promo for her show.
The usual suspects, the Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall, King Hippo, the Palin Da Ass, Becknerd, the Turd Flipper, and That Guy Who Helped Obama Win screaming at the clouds.
The Media Research Center, a conservative media watchdog is investing in the comment "all our children belong to us" in her MSNBC television promotion.
The conservative agitating and junk food media went totally bananas over this.
The conservative/white supremacist bubble were screaming "socialist brainwashing" instigated by that race-baiting "NIGGER".
What makes this so ridiculous, “an uncontroversial comment” made it to the junk food media.
The Daily Caller ominously reported that “Melissa Harris-Perry wants your children.” The Palin Da Ass tweeted that “Apparently MSNBC doesn’t think your children belong to you. Unflippingbelievable.”
King Hippo jumped on her comments by saying, “This is Marx, Mengele, communist manifesto, the nuclear family has always been under attack by communists, leftists. The nuclear family, just like religion, must be destroyed, and in its place the community, the collective.”
And Becknerd fumed, “It is so far beyond what we have ever thought as a nation, it’s remarkable.” Well done, Harris-Perry. Well done.
While most of us would yawn at the latest faux outrage over this. The people over at MSNBC responded with their own criticism of those who attacked Harris-Perry.
For one thing, Harris-Perry shrugged off the criticism of the right wingers. All she did was release a tweet:
Expect this issue to be discussed on her program on the weekend.
Rand Paul: You [Black Folks] Need "Freedom!"
Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) speaks to Howard University students. |
The kookspiracy comes to the historically Black college. Of course, the talk of this nut job running for president is growing and I guess he's reached out to "us Black folk" about him and his daddy's legacy of "doing nothing" but still gaining this amount of unprecedented attention.
Conservatives and the race card: It's only played when you're on the losing side of a debate.
The Republican Party are atoned to the race card. You just like to place it in Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and President Barack Obama's back pocket to say "oh it's those niggers who play the race card, not us!"
The Politico reports that Senator Paul brought his outreach campaign to Howard University on Wednesday, giving skeptical students a lesson in the positive history of the Republican Party and the African-American community.
At one of the nation’s oldest black schools, Paul insisted under questioning that he “has never wavered” in his support of the 1964 Civil Rights Act — an issue that dogged his 2010 Senate campaign after he questioned the act in a televised interview.
Paul makes the claim that the president and his Democratic allies failed the Black community.
Paul went on to then describe the GOP’s rich Civil-War era history with the emancipation of slaves, and assailed the Southern Democrats of the era for discrimination. “How did we lose the support of an entire race?” he asked “How did we lose that vote?”
Paul disputed the suggestion that Republicans sanctioned voter suppression in states where GOP legislatures passed voter ID laws. One student accused the measures of targeting the poor, seniors and minority voters.
“I think if you liken using a driver’s license to a literacy test you demean the horror of what happened in the 40s and 50s. It was horrific. No one is in favor of that,” Paul said. “But showing your driver’s license to have an honest election is not unreasonable.”
He did stumble at one point when he couldn’t recall the name of the first African American elected to the Senate, and was prompted by students shouting “Edward Brooke.” At another point he asked whether they knew that the founders of the NAACP were Republicans.
Groans could be head and one student shouted ,“We know our history!”
I would love to say this in regards to the Paulnuts out there: No chance in hell will America elect a politico who believes monsters hide under the bed!
There may be some here who troll the internet for all things Rand and Ron Paul. You might be one of these
Rand Paul (and his daddy) are establishment politicos whose "KOOKY" ideas appeal to the broad
These type of Republicans hate last year's miserable crop of presidential candidates. They've gritted their teeth as they watched perennial loser Mitt Romney get his ass handed to him.
Yeah, there are liberal who fall victim to the bullshit that Paul says. I don't see many but there are some liberals who think he's all about ending the wars, stopping drones from flying over the United States and legalizing the weed.
But when you look into the Paul philosophy, you see that he would rather meddle in your bedroom, your vagina or in the case your neighborhood with intrusive policies and proposals. Paul would rather pass legislation that could affect progress. Repealing Wall Street Reform and Obamacare are themes that drive Paul and the Republicans.
Did you know that the Pauls have friends that are anti-Semitics?
Sure enough there's plenty of anti-Israeli agitators who think that country is the reason for the global unrest in the world.
There are some deficit hawks who think that United States is acting like a "god" and the powers that be will be its undoing. The deficit hawks want to cut spending only in areas that doesn't affect them. Say for example, Paul comes from Kentucky and it's major military bases and coal mining industry could be affected by the sequester. So instead of cutting into his constituents jobs, he'll send his proposals to hurt another state or region.
Some claim that ending foreign aid to lower nations and Israel is the perfect solution (even though these nations aid the United States in these goddamn wars).
There's plenty of extremists who think anyone who questions the motives of Paul are against the U.S. Constitution. Of course, these are the ones who appear on tax revolters, survivalist, conspiracy theorist and White Supremacists websites.
Of course if you criticize this guy or his daddy, you'll be baited into a trivial debate over how these individuals "read the Constitution all the ways" and you're the ones who "misinformed" about the issues.
You really need to understand this!
Ron Paul has no accomplishments under his nearly 35 years in Congress.
Rand Paul for nearly two years hasn't gotten one bill he's sponsored passed in the U.S. Senate.
The only thing a cult follower will tell you is that Rand Paul filibustered a nominee for over 13 hours.
The nominee was confirmed the next day.
Ron Paul had only one freaking bill was passed by Congress under his sponsorship.
Rand Paul may be the rising face of the Republican Party. But if he's getting endorsements from idiots like Sarah Palin, he's doomed for political defeat if he should run for president.
No real person would support a fringe candidate who based his legacy on a cult of ignorance.
Just because a few "weed" smoking celebrities (Barry Manilow, Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson) had once endorse Ron and Rand Paul's policies, doesn't mean they've voted for him. So if these people spoke out for the Rand Paul, it would damage their credibility as an entertainer.
It's likely they'll support candidates who represent their views. So I guess that they voted for President Barack Obama over perennial candidate Mitt Romney any fucking way.
For your information, the Democratic Party nominated and American people elected Barack Obama, the first Black president. The president represents the onset of a changing demographic. In 40 years, the nation will get a little browner and the Republican Party has little chance of getting people of color to join their ranks.
Followers of the cult will get nowhere!
What on earth thinks you got the notion that "he's winning" every freaking time?
The infamous interview with liberal agitator Rachel Maddow. Rand Paul, then candidate for senate. Since this incident, Paul had went solely to Fox News for his interview.
Crazy righty: Karen Finney’s not black enough
Karen Finney, an accomplished African American Pundit and DNC spokesperson. Right wingers, take that!
The problem is that Ms. Finney has a white mother and a Black father and that combo drives right wingers such as Mr. Graham. That's the real problem. Right wingers have a big problem with Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Barack Obama, Lani Guinier, any multiracial Black that dare to identify as Black and mixed Black.
That's why at American Renaissance, angry white men overly obsessed over Black-White miscegenation and biracial kids.
La Reyna
Baby Gunners!
This picture here shows the incapability of a person operating a firearm safely. |
A tragedy involving firearms and the filibusters of reality duck the media questions of this.
Wilson County Deputy Daniel Fanning. |
4-year old kills a police officer wife.
No one saw the boy pick up the weapon before the shooting, which occurred Saturday night in Lebanon, east of Nashville, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Kristin Helm said. The single shot killed 47-year-old Josephine Fanning, the wife of Wilson County Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Fanning.
Josephine Fanning was killed by toddler. |
Sheriff Robert Bryan called the shooting a terrible accident and said the boy picked up the gun almost immediately after Fanning had placed it on the bed.
"Within seconds this small 4-year-old comes into the room, unbeknownst to the officer, and just picked up the gun and shot her," Bryan said. "Danny Fanning is going to have to live with it. Our prayers, our thoughts go out to him and the child."
Alcohol was present at the gathering, Helm said. Daniel Fanning was not on duty at the time of the shooting.
"He was a good officer who did his job," said former Wilson County Sheriff Terry Ashe, who hired Daniel Fanning.
The gun that the 4-year-old fired was Fanning's personal weapon and not his police gun, Helm and Bryan said. The deputy's weapons are normally stored in a safe.
No charges are pending, but the state is continuing to investigate, Helm said.
"(It) appears accidental at this time," Helm said.
Tennessee ranks among the highest in the nation for accidental firearm deaths, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Helm said she wasn't sure of the relationship between the boy and the Fannings. The TBI, which investigates incidents involving law enforcement officers, is still conducting its probe, and no charges have been filed.
The gun involved was Fanning's personal weapon, not his service pistol, she said.
Republican Leader Slams Ashley Judd!
Embattled Republican leader mocks actress Ashley Judd. |
Senator Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader is from Kentucky. He is very unpopular in the state. But it's likely they'll settle with him over the opponent. The state is fairly conservative. The state could elect Democrats to the state house, but when it comes to national elections, the state is likely a Republican pick-up. The Democratic Party was hoping to find a candidate that's viable to defeat the embattled Republican senator.
Ashley Judd. |
The actress and activist Ashley Judd was thinking about moving to The Bluegrass State. There was talk in the junk food media she could run against him. They were seriously rooting for a historical race.
Alas, that didn't happen. Judd decided to not seek the Democratic nomination.
McConnell is well funded and established as a senator.
Well today, the Republican leader is asking for assistance from the FBI to find out how his choice words about Ashley Judd leaked to the press.
Mother Jones, the liberal investigative/news agitation magazine once again drops a gem out there for the public to hear.
While at his campaign office in Louisville, the senator and his staff were devising a plan on how to take out Ashley Judd if she would announce her run for the senate.
In February, a recording of the private meeting between the senator and his staffers turned out some really condescending themes about the actress.
I assume most of you have played the, the game Whac-A-Mole?” (Laughter.) This is the Whac-A-Mole period of the campaign…when anybody sticks their head up, do them out.
The talk about Judd being a "mental case!"
She's clearly, this sounds extreme, but she is emotionally unbalanced. I mean it's been documented. Jesse can go in chapter and verse from her autobiography about, you know, she's suffered some suicidal tendencies. She was hospitalized for 42 days when she had a mental breakdown in the '90s.
The talk about Judd being a "Hollywood elitist!" Calling it anesthesia.
I call it the American anesthesia. You know, I come back to this country. I freak out in airports. The colors, the sounds, all those different ways of packaging the same snack but trying to, you know, make it look like it's distinct and different and convince consumers that they have to have it. I mean all of that. The last time I came home from a trip, I absolutely flipped out when I saw pink fuzzy socks on a rack. I mean, I can never anticipate what is going to push me over the edge.
These are the oodles of goodies that the senator had against the actress. You see this guy is very nasty in his politics. That's probably why he's won so many times. He digs into the bottom of the barrel.
McConnell asked the FBI to investigate how the meeting leaked to the press. Mother Jones stated that the tape was recording from an anonymous source.
The campaign released a statement criticizing the media (for catching them saying these awful things about Ashley Judd).
Jesse Benton, McConnell's campaign manager, released a statement responding to this story on Tuesday morning: "We’ve always said the Left will stop at nothing to attack Sen. McConnell, but Nixonian tactics to bug campaign headquarters is above and beyond. Senator McConnell’s campaign is working with the FBI and has notified the local U.S. Attorney in Louisville, per FBI request, about these recordings. Obviously a recording device of some kind was placed in Sen. McConnell’s campaign office without consent. By whom and how that was accomplished will presumably be the subject of a criminal investigation."
To make this clear, you criticize the opponent in nasty themes and it leaked to the press. And now you're calling the opponent "Nixonian" because they've caught you in the act!
Mother Jones responded back.
We are still waiting for Sen. Mitch McConnell to comment on the substance of the article. Before posting, we contacted his Senate office and his campaign office—in particular, his campaign manager, Jesse Benton—and no one responded. As the story makes clear, we were recently provided with the tape by a source who wishes to remain anonymous. We published the article on the tape due to its obvious newsworthiness. We were not involved in the making of the tape, but it is our understanding that the tape was not the product of any kind of bugging operation. We cannot comment beyond that, except to say that under the circumstances, our publication of the article is both legal and protected by the First Amendment.
Campaign manager Jesse Benton is married to Kentucky Senator Rand Paul's niece. Which means that Benton is kinfolk to Senator Rand Paul and former Texas Congressman Ron Paul by marriage.

A Piece Of The Mud Pie...
Black conservatives are screaming their freedoms to be outright bigots are being violated! |
Do you want a piece of the mud pie?
Black conservatives are so upset they're being called "Oreos", "Tokens", "sell-outs" and other vile comments from the Black leaders and liberal activists.
The Black conservatives flock over to "Loserville" to have a sitdown with "That Guy Who Helped Barack Obama Win". They're screaming that their "freedom of speech" is violated by those evil Black leaders and liberal agitators on MSNBC.
That guy who helped Barack Obama win! |
Nevermind, the intrusiveness and overt racism that spins in the Republican Party.
Black conservatives believe the real enemy of the American racism is the Democratic Party and its standard-bearer, President Barack Obama.
So this little sit down with that guy was controversial to say at least. While that guy stacked the deck with Black conservatives, over at Obama News, liberal agitator Rachel Maddow was talking about the president's attempt to sway a stubborn Congress into passing gun control measures (which are getting the filibuster from the Republican leader Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky).
While Maddow is controversial, she maintains her show to real issues.
The Obama News network has been growing in ratings recently, and that guy is concerned. He would waste most of his show trashing Obama News because he knows his show is tanking in the ratings. There was a segment of that guy's program in which he devoted time to Chris Matthews. Matthews was saying the Republican Party built its outreach on playing "racial politics" to win over White voters. He wanted those Black conservatives to trash the network.
And one thing that guy forgets to mention, that perennial loser Mitt Romney won the White male voter overwhelmingly.
The Republican Party outreach to minorities is a disaster in the making. Lining up Black conservatives isn't the way to swaying a Black voter. The party has to reach out with issues that matter to Black voters.
"Accidental Racist" Controversy!
Uncle L and Brad Paisley record a controversial song. |
The actor and rapper LL Cool J (born James Todd Smith) accompanies country music star Brad Praisley in a song that's generated a controversy.
Brad Paisley with President Barack Obama. |
If you understand the reason of the single, it's trying to awaken the public to racial stereotypes that many American get of White men and Black men.
Country music is regarded as primarily White man's music. Hip-Hop is regarded as primarily Black man's music.
Brad Praisley was a supporter of President Barack Obama.
LL Cool J was a supporter of perennial loser Mitt Romney.
Didn't know that?
Well here they've recorded a response to all the hate that comes down the social media networks!
Here's the lyrics from the entertainers:
To the man who waited on me
At the Starbucks down on Main
I hope you understand
When I put on that t-shirt
The only thing I meant to say
Is I’m a Skynyrd fan
The red flag on my chest is somehow like the elephant
In the corner of the South
And I just walked him right in the room
Just a proud rebel son
With an old can of worms
Looking like I’ve got a lot to learn
But from my point of view
I’m just a white man
Coming to you from the Southland
Trying to understand what it’s like not to be
I’m proud of where I’m from
But not everything we’ve done
And it ain’t like you and me to rewrite history
Our generation didn’t start this nation
We’re still picking up the pieces
Walking over eggshells
Fighting over yesterday
And caught between southern pride
And southern blame
They called it Reconstruction
Fixed the buildings, dried some tears
We’re still sifting’ through the rubble
After 150 years
I’ll try to put myself in your shoes
And that’s a good place to begin
It ain’t like I can walk a mile
In someone else’s skin
‘Cause I’m just a white man
Living in the Southland
Just like you, I’m more than what you see
I’m proud of where I’m from
And not everything we’ve done
And it ain’t like you and me to rewrite history
Our generation didn’t start this nation
And we’re still paying for the mistakes
Than a bunch of folks made
Long before we came
Caught somewhere between southern pride
And southern blame
[LL Cool J]
Dear Mr. White Man, I wish you understood
What the world is really like when you’re living in the hood
Just because my pants are saggin’ doesn’t mean I’m up to no good
You should try to get to know me, I really wish you would
Now my chains are gold, but I’m still misunderstood
I wasn’t there when Sherman’s March turned the south into firewood
I want you to get paid, but be a slave I never could
Feel like a new-fangled Django dogging invisible white hoods
So when I see that white cowboy hat, I’m thinking it’s not all good
I guess we’re both guilty of judging the cover, not the book
I’d love to buy you a beer, conversate and clear the air
But I see that red flag and I think you wish I wasn’t here
I’m just a white man
(If you don’t judge my do-rag)
Coming to you from the southland
(I won’t judge your red flag)
Trying to understand what it’s like not to be
I’m proud of where I’m from
(If you forget my gold chains)
But not everything we’ve done
(I’ll forget the iron chains)
It ain’t like you and me can rewrite history
(Can’t rewrite history, baby)
Oh, Dixieland
(The relationship between the Mason-Dixon needs some fixing’)
I hope you understand what this is all about
(Quite frankly, I’m a black Yankee, but I’ve been thinking about this lately)
I’m a son of the New South
(The past is the past, you feel me)
And I just want to make things right
(Let bygones be bygones)
Where all that’s left is southern pride
(RIP Robert E. Lee, but I’ve gotta thank Abraham Lincoln for freeing me, know what I mean)
LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell |
The New York Daily News reports that most reviewers, including comedians, writers and musicians, used “horrible,” “bizarre” or “racist” to describe the nearly six-minute song, which explores modern-day race relations.
So I guess, we can add LL Cool J to the list of rappers who say controversial themes to drive agitation from the media. Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, The Game, 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj are already causing enough trouble for Black entertainment.
Hell, LL Cool J released his fourteenth album this year. I haven't heard one single on the radio. His album features Brad Paisley, Snoop Dogg, Monica, and T-Pain.
All I knew about LL Cool J these days was his role on NCIS: Los Angeles with Chris O'Donnell.
Again, despite the song, they're entitled to their beliefs. The song isn't good.
The liberal and conservative agitators will debate this controversy as usual. Rappers will slam LL Cool J for appearing on it. Country music stars will slam Brad Paisley for even making a song like this and also performing for President Barack Obama this year.
Many conservatives continue to defend the Confederacy. The breakaway states became a nation in 1861.
For only four years, the Confederacy lead the way for having slavery and gun rights. The Republicans of the South have pride in the heritage as Confederate sons. Being on the losing side of a war and history isn't something I would of bragged about!
Nowadays, modern day Republicans and Black conservatives want to say they're the ones who freed "us Black folk" and we "owe them" for our freedom. Unware the Republican Party itself still flies the Confederate flag.
Black conservatives are unaware the Republican Party wanted succession from the United States after President Barack Obama, the first Black president won reelection.
Black conservatives are unaware their brothers in the Republican Party continue to say the first Black president is either a "socialist", "Muslim", "not an American-born" citizen and "uppity".
I guess this is how I interrupted the song!
Brad Paisley appears on Arista Records Nashville and Sony Music Group.
LL Cool J appears on S-BRO Entertainment and previous music is licensed by Def Jam
.
Republicans Filibuster Reality!
Breakfast with frenemies. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky, Minority Leader) will join Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) in filibustering gun control proposals by the Democrats. |
The Sandy Hook shooting is one of the worst tragedies in the United States. A 20-year old
The gunman ended up killing himself. Before he went on his murderous rampage, the gunman killed his mother. The mother owned a handful of firearms and had political views that match the current crop of Republican politicos.
Over 100 days since the horrible tragedy in December 2012. President Barack Obama promised that in his second term, he will get reasonable gun control passed.
The promise he made to those families of gun violence is variable. During his first term, President Barack Obama heard about the rampant gang violence in his hometown of Chicago. He witnessed the shootings in Tucson, Arizona in which six were killed and it critically injured Gabrielle Giffords, a three term Democratic congresswoman.
President Barack Obama heard of the shootings in Wisconsin in which a gunman killed seven Sikh worshipers. He heard about the shooting at Fort Hood in which a Master Sargent went on a murderous spree killing his fellow members of the U.S. Army.
The president heard about the shootings in Chardon, Ohio. The shooting in Sanford, Florida. The shooting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The shooting in Aurora, Colorado in which a mentally challenged individual went into a movie theater at the premiere of Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and killed 14 moviegoers.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida) is a rising star among the Republican faithful. He's getting presidential buzz along with Kentucky senator Rand Paul. |
The president is flexing his muscle. He is taking the families of the Sandy Hook victims to Washington, DC to lobby for strict background checks alongside a ban on high power firearms and continuous magazine clips.
The only thing standing in the president's way is Congress. The Republicans and some Democrats threaten to derail the measure. The Republican leader, Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) will join Senators Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma), Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) and Marco Rubio (R-Florida) in filibustering any measure that applies to firearm restriction.
California senator Dianne Feinstein, a gun crime victim warns of more problems ahead if the Senate can't pass reasonable gun control measures.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is a far right politician who continues to obstruct progress. |
Reid had threaten members of the Senate to stop filibustering legislation. He's reconsidering the cloture process. Many of the president's allies single out Republican obstruction as the cause of the economic crisis and it's paying off.
The conservative senators Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia) and Republican Pat Toomey (R-Pennsylvania) are working on their own proposals that may get ball moving. I am guessing the Republicans will filibuster their ideas as well.
Right now, the president is frustrated with Republicans. He's getting tired of his nominees being stalled, and legislation not being passed. The House is controlled by Republicans and it's leader House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio.
If the U.S. Senate passes a bill, it's either killed by the House. If the U.S. House of Representatives passes a bill, it's killed by the Senate. The chances of a grand bargain on gun control, immigration reform, the budget and taxes are slim. The Republicans signal filibuster on every proposal made President Barack Obama.
The proposals by President Barack Obama also attracted ire of Independent senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders and some Democratic lawmakers.
The Republican Party is filibustering reality. The Majority Leader Harry Reid is warning senators that the overplay of filibustering will result in reform.
But to the tone deaf Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, it's their only way to winning the debate. Hopefully, this obstruction will bring a negative effect upon the American people.
The American people are so tired of Congress right now, if the election was held today, it's likely the Republicans would lose their hold on the House of Representatives. The Democrats would lose a few senators. Mostly in the South and Mountain West (i.e. Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana), Max Baucus (D-Montana) and the open seats by Tim Johnson (D-South Dakota) and Jay Rockafeller (D-West Virginia)).

BREAKING: Teen Idol Annette Funicello Passes Away!
I just watched Bikini Beach movies on ThisTV yesterday afternoon.
And breaking today, the former Disney Mouseketeer and teen idol Annette Funicello has died at age 70.
Beginning her professional career as a child performer at the age of twelve, Funicello rose to prominence as one of the most popular "Mouseketeers" on the original Mickey Mouse Club. As a teenager, she transitioned to a successful career as a singer with the pop singles "Tall Paul" and "Pineapple Princess", as well as establishing herself as a film actress, popularizing the successful "Beach Party" genre alongside co-star Frankie Avalon during the mid-1960s. The blog "Extra" reported that Annette Funicello died of complications of multiple sclerosis on April 8, 2013.
She was an icon of the 1960s. She and Frankie Avalon were the teen beach goers who made Summers at the beach a fun and entertaining experience.
Since the 1990s, she had not done much in appearances due to multiple sclerosis. It left her in a wheelchair.
This is a developing.
We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Annette Funicello.
