Bring homeless makes you do things to survive. A man broke into the Toledo Mud Hens baseball stadium and stole food. |
I almost wanted to have some pity for the man. He did not attempt to steal sports merchandise, money or electronics from Fifth Third Field in Toledo, Ohio.
He stole Pepsi, popcorn, wine coolers, peanuts, hamburgers and hotdogs.
The Toledo Police are looking for him.
James Benschoter, 59 must be a homeless vagrant who has to survive. Ohio is a totally dying state. Republicans are driving the state into the toilet.
Being surpassed by North Carolina is soon than most think. Ohio is the 7th most populated state. North Carolina is only 1.2 million away from breaking into the 7th spot.
Ohio has a population of 12.3 million.
North Carolina has a population of 11.9 million.
Anyway, the whole issue with this larceny of condiments. He used a bolt cutter to break into the ballpark. He managed to get into the food vendors lobby. He took at least 100 bottles of Pepsi, a bag of popcorn, two unknown products, a wine cooler and 40 pints of ice cream.
Benschoter has previously been charged with criminal trespassing for living in the basement of a Toledo business, according to WTOL-11.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Other police reports indicate Benschoter allegedly steals these items by filling a bag with them.
For these incidents, Toledo police have issued warrants for Benschoter's arrest. He is charged with four counts of fifth-degree felony breaking and entering.
Police said they were able to identify Benschoter because officers have dealt with him "several times" in the past.
Earlier police affidavits indicate Benschoter has previously been charged with criminal trespassing for living in the basement of Hub Group, as well as attempting to hide under a desk on the property of Durty Bird. For the former, he was found guilty and sentenced to inactive probation.
