How Strom Thurmond Created Trump 

That despicable bigot Strom Thurmond.

The current "president"-  Strom Thurmond and the old bigoted Republican Party  created this monster!

Today, I'm writing about the influence of how right-wing and racist politicians of the previous century contributed to the rise of the alt-right and the 45th "President".  That the mainstream media doesn't want to discuss this because of their role in creating the monster.

Whenever I hear about the media is being liberal, I cringe because it's not true.  The media is actually conservative in not truly challenging the status quo or denying parts of American history.  I'm not just talking about Fox news.  NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, the NYT, Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, USA Today, etc.  Today's media is own by very few people and the news we get is often biased or watered down.

Let's get back to talking about that dead senator Strom Thurmond.
Strom's father was an avid supporter of Ben Tillman, a notorious white supremacist who advocated lynching and denying Blacks and People of Color education and employment opportunities other than laborers, sharecropping, and domestic service.

In 1924, Strom exploited and impregnated a Black household domestic who gave birth to his first child, Essie Mae Washington on October 10, 1925.  For decades her existence has been shrouded in secrecy, lies, and humiliation until his death in 2003.

Yep, he said this back in the fifties.

Strom has used race, religion, and gender to divide the people of South Carolina, the South, and, eventually, the nation.  His family was connected to notorious White supremacists such as Ben Tillman and Coleman Blease.   Coleman Blease racism was so blatant and open that some of his White supremacist supporters were turned off by such displays.  Read up on both Ben Tillman and Coleman Blease at Wikipedia.  Some of the stuff are shocking to some but to many people, especially Black people, none of this surprise us as we are going through another time of intolerance and bigotry in 2019.

The following article is from the Washington Post regarding Walter Ashby Plecker and how he wanted a racially divided society in Virginia during his reign as the Bureau of Vital Statistics registrar.  It's just like the orange hair guy who still wants to build the wall and to ban Muslims from coming to our country. A few days ago, the Republicans passed a bill to limit legal immigration and to give visas to mainly skilled English-speaking immigrants.  The similarities are frightening and sinister.  Here's the article:

"He built his career on the systematic oppression of blacks and Native Americans, becoming one of the country’s most influential white supremacists. For more than three decades, from 1912 until 1946, Walter Ashby Plecker used his position as head of Virginia’s Bureau of Vital Statistics to champion policies designed to protect what he considered a master white race.
He was the father of the state’s Racial Integrity Act of 1924, which designated every person in the state as either white or “colored” and criminalized interracial marriage. Plecker insisted that any person with a single drop of “Negro” blood couldn’t be classified as white, and he refused to even acknowledge that Native Americans existed in the commonwealth, effectively erasing their legal identities."

He also tried to destroy the Melungeon people as well because he consider them as threats similar to the rhetoric of many Republicans used toward Black and Brown folks as well as Muslims, atheists, and other non-Christian groups in recent times.  His racist legacy did not die in 1947, it was taken up by race-baiting politicians such as Strom Thurmond, Richard "Law and Order" Nixon, Jesse Helms, Steve Scalese, David Duke, Steve King, and of course, Donald.

Did you know that he's the originator of the notoriously racist one-drop rule?  Here it is according to Wikipedia:

"Plecker lobbied the US Census Bureau to drop the category "mulatto" in the 1930 and later censuses. This deprived mixed-race people of recognition of their identity and it also contributed to a binary culture of hypodescent, in which mixed-race persons were often classified as part of the group with lower social status.^[5] Not until the 21st century did the federal census allow individuals to indicate more than one race or ethnic group in self-identification."

In other words, he's the father of racial profiling.  In fact, modern-day racial profiling originated with Plecker.  Whether we hear about police profiling, medical DNA, employment/education/housing discrimination, racial gerrymandering, voter suppression, etc., that deplorable racist was the originator.

He told the white mother regarding her newborn child.  What he told her was hateful and dehumanizing:

"This is to give you warning that this is a mulatto child and you cannot pass it off as white. A new law passed by the last legislature says that if a child has one drop of negro blood in it, it cannot be counted as white. You will have to do something about this matter and see that the child is not allowed to mix with white children, it cannot go to white schools and can never marry a white person in Virginia.

It is an awful thing."

So, this SOB called her child an "it" and "awful!  How evil and racist can he be!  Let's not forget that 45(Trump) is also an evil racist and an SOB. And shock jock Bob Dumas. And former NC Governor Pat McCrory.  The ghost of Plecker is alive and well and wants vengeance!  Be vigilant.  Stay woke!

Paleoconservative White Nationalists Jared Taylor criticized CPAC for not being conservative and racist enough. Isn't it ironic that conservatives are fighting one another when they say that liberals are disunited.  It's the conservative movement that is in array.  They're fighting about who's the most conservative, more White, and Christian.  Obviously, Mr. Taylor doesn't think that CPAC is racist enough and yet the latter agrees with Mr. Taylor about the inferiority of People of Color.


Well, Mr. Taylor, America is a changed country.  Get used to it!

John McCain's son married Capt. Renee Jessica Smith over the weekend.  Guess who attended their wedding?  It's none other than the perennial loser, Mitt Romney!  It's karma!  Scions of Republican/Right-wingers are getting stabbed in the back!  Their racist/classist/sexist ideologies are being exposed for what they are, disgusting pieces of propaganda.  I wonder if their white nationalist/supremacist/HBD friends of theirs think of their family members marrying Blacks and Browns, therefore contributing to the browning/tanning of America.

Already, racist right wingers at number 1 and number 2 are working up a storm over this one.

Racists Very Upset Over Interracial Family in Cute Cheerios Commercial

My guest columnist, LILVOKA, later will analyze the motivations behind the bigots and racists hatred toward the innocent family Cherrios ad.

Me(La Reyna) thinks they're taking out on the interracial couple because of most right-wing racists' hatred of President Obama, who is biracial like the little girl in the commercial.  It's a sad commentary in 2013, interracial couples and families are still subjected to racist insults and assaults by the larger community and, I'm going to say it, right-wing Conservatives and Liberal whites as well.  Let's not get this twisted that white liberals are so above racism and white privilege.  They're not.

What are your thoughts?

American Renaissance's Incessant Obsession over Interracial Relationships

Is this something bigots got rile up over?

Why is that even an issue among some race-obsessed people at American Renaissance website when there are greater social problems such as unemployment, the recession, police brutality, racism, sexism, classism, the wars around the world, and famine?

Tell that to a group of race obsessed people in and around St. Louis metro area and beyond regarding the cover of a multiracial couple kissing by St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

On the cover of today’s Go! magazine, a regular section of Friday’s Post-Dispatch, there is a photo of a couple kissing to go along with the story “The 7 Best Places To Smooch”. The story hasn’t generated a ton of buzz, but the photo has. Why? Because the man is black and the woman is white. The reader comments at the end of the online version clearly showed us that at least some folks out there are not comfortable with interracial relationships.

Of course, American Renaissance readers always have something snide to say about race mixing, especially racial mixing between Blacks and Whites, in this day and time. The posts concerning Black and White mixing always generate the most comments because many of the readers, deep down, want to keep their race and ethnicity "pure" by not dating and marrying Blacks and Multiracial Blacks. I know there are some who don't approve of Whites marrying Latinos and Asians, but that doesn't generate as much hate, no, not even close to the animus against peoples of African descent. Here are some of their gems:

"Just because people don’t support mixing of the races (there are many blacks and browns and yellows that also don’t like mixing) doesn’t make them racist. Educated? Hardly. She doesn’t even know what the word “racist” means. The mere mention of redneck as a response to some folks not liking or accepting interracial dating and/or miscegenation is typical of an ignoramus. Be advised that many highly-educated whites do not like interracial dating or miscegenation anymore than our like-minded kin in the trailer parks. She’s not only ignorant, she is totally and irrevocably brainwashed."

"As a white woman, I don’t have much to say about this magazine cover except “gross”. I can’t even imagine…wait a minute…I don’t even WANT to imagine."

"The level of disgusting immorality in the media knows no bounds. In a few years they’ll be two men kissing on the cover and a decade from now it’ll be a woman and some farm animal. "Even though I haven’t lived in St. Louis in the past 45 years,I still follow the daily news.
The crimes committed by blacks against whites has increased and the violent nature of these crimes would cause most whites with any sense of civility to distrust ANY relationship with blacks, especially black males. Most white women wind up abused or worse,read Nicole Simpson, as a prime example. If people wish to express their outrage, it’s part of of constitutional freedoms. My mother was a Debutante, my father was a member of the best fraternity at his college, and our immediate ancestors typically inhabited archetypal Mississippi mansions with third-floor ballrooms. The Kennedy/Johnson ‘Great Society’, following the Civil War, the Boll Wevil, and the Cotton Panics, succeeded in wiping out most of our ‘family money’. However, my parents’ generation, and my own, have recovered our standing to some extent.
While my house is smaller than I would like (Marble House, in Newport, is what I’d prefer.), it is within the wealthiest city, and the wealthiest county in our state. I have never inhabited a trailer, nor has any member of my family. I take that back: one uncle did rent an Airstream for a semester, while he was in Pre-Med.
No one smokes crack in our house. No one smokes ANYTHING in our house. Nor do they consume alcohol or eat meat. We are vegetarians, and mostly buy Organic. We have no domestic servants, and maintain the grounds of our home ourselves. We wash our own cars, iron our own clothing, and put an atypically high percentage of our income into investments. We have no pets. Our social life is limited. Our workdays are long. And we long ago severed our religious affiliations, having wearied of hearing ‘one-worlder’ garbage coming from the pulpits.
When I was a toddler, I went to the most progressive nursery school in the university town where my parents then lived (my Stepfather had taught Chemical Engineering, before opening his first factory). Later, I went to the best of three private schools in our town, and have eight years of college. My husband is in one of the top two professions. Our children have, or are getting, professional degrees.
I prefer to think of myself as a ‘realist’, rather than as a ‘racist’. But I became a racist/realist as a result of having grown up in an extremely diverse community. I got to observe the differences from close range. I experienced my first persecution for being a white Protestant while in private school, from a marginally-white, non-protestant Principal, who went out of his way to promote students of his own religion/ethnicity, and to discredit Protestant and Jewish students.
I doubt this will dislodge certain individuals’ preconceptions regarding ‘racists’. But it was worth a try"

"There is most definitely something to be learned from these types of relationships and why it seems, celebrity black man generally gravitate towards nordic blonde women. Seal, Tiger Woods, OJ Simpson (of course, we know how that one turned out). Here is an attractive mixed race woman, who was married to TWO black men and had no children by either one. She then meets some attractive white model and bingo, becomes pregnant and has a daughter.
While I’m not a psychologist and couldn’t even begin to explain these relationships, it reminds me of something my mother used to say when I was younger. That black people wanted to be white so bad they could taste it. Why else would they straighten their hair and lighten their skin. They may say they hate whitey and yell it at the top of their lungs but I think that black men and black women who marry whites feel like it the closest they will ever get to actually being white. Of course, on the other hand, my husband says it’s just a way to mutt up our race."

Last week I was at a local pizza joint having lunch. There were a group of White males discussing Michelle Obama and Black women in general. They went on and on about how they found some Black women exotic, vibrant sensual etc… A few of them are apparently are dating Black women and the like.It was sickening.
So yes, this sort of miscegenation is happening and perhaps it has been taking place for awhile.

All you have to do is look at the number of blogs that talk about how good looking Michelle Obama is. In fact , one White columnist Jack Cafferty wrote a column on his blog talking about how hwe had a crush on her, Robin Givens, Vanessa Williams Kerry Washington, Halle Berry etc…
The number of White men who responded expressing similar sentiments (one oeven told him to get in line and wait his turn) was disgusting. We are through as a nation.

These mofos are so bothered by White men dating/marrying Black and multiracial Black women. Too bad! It's going to happen whether you like it or not. Yes, contrary to some, plenty of bigots out there who are very much threatened by White men dating/marrying Black women and having multiracial children as well. These people are not run of the mill types one finds at Stormfront. They are middle to upper class, well-educated, well-heeled intellectual types. They are far more dangerous, for they are the ones who are running things in American society.
