October Surprise: Back To The Future!

Trump and Elon Musk go to Butler, Pennsylvania for the honor service of dead MAGAland attendee.

Former president Donald J. Trump returns to Butler, Pennsylvania. It was the site of a mass shooting and an attempted assassination on the Republican nominee.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) is there. Elon Musk will be there along with the Republican senate nominee David McCormick, Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), several Republican U.S. members and state officials, Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) (once again outside her district) and a surprise guest or two.

In July, Trump was doing his usual gripes and within seconds, sounds of gunfire.

Apparently Trump was struck in the ear and the U.S. Secret Service quickly rushed the stage and protected him. Trump defiantly raised his fist and made a moment in American history.

The shooting killed a Pennsylvania man and seriously injured two including Trump. The shooter Thomas Crooks, 20 was quickly taken out by the Secret Service Tactical Units.

The incident is regarded as the most significant security failure by the Secret Service since the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan in 1981. The director of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, faced bipartisan calls for her resignation when she testified before the United States House Committee on Oversight and Accountability on July 22; she stepped down the following day. President Joe Biden ordered an independent review of the security arrangements, condemned the violence, and called for a reduction in heated political rhetoric, emphasizing the importance of resolving political differences peacefully. Misinformation and conspiracy theories spread on social media after the shooting. Lawmakers called for increased security for major candidates in the election, and the Secret Service subsequently approved enhanced security measures, including the use of bulletproof glass at Trump's outdoor rallies.

Trump briefly called for unity but quickly pivoted to his rhetoric which calls for violence against Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president. Trump has said it would be a "bloodbath" if he believes his loss is contributed to "antics."

Corey Comperatore complained about DEI in social media posts. A bullet did not care about his gripes. It saw him as a target. DEI won't hurt him anymore.

Then in September, a man managed to sneak into Trump International Golf Course and was spotting a target when the Secret Service identified him. He fled but was caught and is facing a federal sandwich.

Trump is overwhelming the U.S. Secret Service. His wife, former first lady Melania Trump isn't on the campaign trail but has protection. His youngest son Barron is in college has protection. The siblings Ivanka Kushner (husband Jared), Eric Trump (wife Lara), Tiffany Boulos (husband Michael) and Donald Trump, Jr. (ex-wife Vanessa) have protection.

Also Ohio senator J.D. Vance (wife Usha) have protection.

Minnesota governor Tim Walz (wife Gwen) have protection.

President Joe Biden (First Lady Dr. Jill Biden)and Vice President Kamala Harris (Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff) have the most protection because they are the incumbent leaders.

Former presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton (wife Hillary), George W. Bush (wife Laura) and Barack Obama (wife Michelle) have protection.

The Secret Service had warned Trump in the past to not have huge rallies because it leaves open areas.

As usual, he ignores their request to limit attendees because he loves to brag about large crowds.

Trump and his MAGAland allies sell this image for a profit. Pathetic. Use a tragedy for financial gains.

Trump returns to finish his rally, make another play for Pennsylvania and of course attack Harris, Democrats, the junk food media and immigrants.

He will also pay tribute to Corey Comperatore, the far right bigot who was killed in the stands.

The Gaurdian has an audio of Trump talking to donors. He was joking about how his wife rejected a check for $1 million. She told the former president that she would be better with her husband by her side than money.

In a recording from the Aug. 10 dinner event in Aspen, Colorado, the former president purportedly said: “So they’re going to get millions of dollars but the woman, the wife, this beautiful woman, I handed her the cheque – we handed her the cheque – and she said, ‘This is so nice, and I appreciate it, but I’d much rather have my husband.’ Now, I know some of the women in this room wouldn’t say the same.”

He reportedly added: “I know at least four couples. ... At least four couples here would have been thrilled, actually.”

Germophobe Trump kissed the uniform of slain bigot at the Republican convention.

The remarks came as Trump was recalling how members of his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida gave him a $1 million check for Comperatore’s family, which includes widow Helen Comperatore. He also referred to a GoFundMe drive that raised millions of dollars for those injured or killed in Butler as Trump was holding a rally.

In late July, the former president had made a similar joke related to the Comperatore family during a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, campaign event.

The Guardian also reported that in the August recording, Trump was heard swearing while claiming that a group of “murderers” came to the U.S. after being released from prison in a foreign country.

Comperatore was shot and killed as he tried to protect his family during the July incident, while a gunman’s bullet bloodied Trump’s ear.

Trump went on to kiss the helmet of the former Buffalo Township fire chief while on stage at the Republican National Committee later that month.
