Troll plans on gutting Twitter staff. |
When billionaires buy social media..... it often goes down as one of the worst mistakes in modern history.
That geezer Rupert Murdoch bought MySpace when it was extremely popular. He ended up ruining it and allow Facebook to becoming the reigning king of social media.
Folks started abandoning MySpace once Murdoch put his tentacles on it.
MySpace had over 569 million active users in 2009. Now it has barely 10 million.
Facebook is on a slow decline as well but still maintains 1.4 billion active users.
Twitter has nearly 1 billion active users.
When the corporate billionaires take over social media, it's like "jumping the shark."
The stench of Elon Musk.
The social media troll is the CEO and chairman of Tesla, SpaceX and now Twitter.
He already has made enemies already. He had fired the top heads of Twitter. He said that he may eventually allow some of these banned extremists back on the platform.
Washed Up 45 is the most prominent extremist banned on the platform.
A beautiful thing about Twitter is how it empowers citizen journalism – people are able to disseminate news without an establishment bias

Musk fired at least four top Twitter executives on Thursday as part of his first move after officially becoming Twitter's owner, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The executives fired include CEO Parag Agrawal, chief financial officer Ned Segal, top legal and policy executive Vijaya Gadde, and general counsel Sean Edgett.
At least one of the fired executives was seen escorted out of Twitter's San Francisco headquarters, per the sources.
