Future Empire!

Trai and Grace Byers are going to be parents.

Thanks to Fabulous Smollett, Empire ended in 2020 with season six. His attempt to generate a bigger role by staging a racial hoax tanked the hip-hop drama. It was a great series that ended too early and quite frankly on a disappointing note. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the series to end two episodes early and writers settled with a dry run ending.

Smollett and Bryshere Y. Gray kind of fucked their careers up with their off screen antics.

Taraj P. Henson and Terrance Howard broke the world when they starred in the Lee Daniel series. It also led to an off screen relationship between two actors. They portrayed Loetha "Cookie" Lyon and Luscious Lyon.

Trai Byers who played Andre Lyon and his wife Grace Byers who played Anika "Boo Boo Kitty" Calhoun are expecting a child together.
Grace revealed Friday that she and her former costar, 39, are expecting their first child together.

The actress, who attended her husband's opening night for The Piano Lesson on Broadway, shared photos from the red carpet in which she can be seen holding her baby bump.

"Words absolutely fail when it comes to describing how deeply and overwhelmingly proud we are of you, @traibyers," Gealey captioned the post; Byers cradles her growing stomach in the second photo.

The couple did not reveal any other details about their pregnancy, including a due date nor the baby's sex.
