On the day of the attack, Trump told supporter to "fight like hell" and you have "get tough." He told the mob you have show strength and not show weakness.

The Republicans are going to get a wake up call in 2022 if they don't pull their heads out their asses. They better get use to the new norms. This insurrection was an attack on our country.

The impeachment trial of former president Donald J. Trump begins. The U.S. Senate will convene for a vote to move forward the trial. 

If found guilty, Trump will be forbidden to run for federal office. He will lose his presidential pension and he held liable in federal court. He will lose his executive privilege to not be sued.

Trump is innocent until proven guilty in a trial conducted by the Senate.

Apparently, the former president was not happy about the performance of his defense attorneys.

The Republicans are so fucking confused. They don't want to divide the nation by impeaching a currently sitting [Republican] president but don't want to divide the nation by impeaching a private [Republican] citizen.

The insurrection happened on January 6, 2021. Trump whipped up his supporters to attack the U.S. Capitol. It lead to five people dying and the Capitol being totally trashed. 

The FBI is searching and arresting those who entered the Capitol.

Bruce Castor flopped.

It opened up some major wounds. 

The safety and security of federal officials. The U.S. Capitol was not prepared for a breach.

Former vice president Mike Pence, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Maxine Water (D-CA), then Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) were targets of the mob.

It exposed white privilege. 

Many of those arrested were well off and not so well off white people. Many were veterans of the military, police officers, first responders and small business owners.

Many of them left their families without warning to attending this "Stop The Steal" rally.

Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump, Terrence K. Williams, Brandon Straka, Roger Stone, Sean "Softball" Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sidney Powell, L. Lin Wood, Alex Jones and Ali Alexander were pushing conspiracies and misinformation about the election.

Trump on his part did a pre-recorded message telling the mob to "go home in peace" and not to concede to the fact he lost the election. He said that the election was stolen.

A federal judge appointed by Trump granted a white woman an opportunity to flee the country without any repercussions. It lead to outrage over how white criminals are treated when they commit violent terroristic acts.

Folks say that if most of these folks were Muslim, Black or immigrant, they would be dead on sight and Congress would continue to make this incident a living memory.

Republicans continue to tell us to never forget 9/11 but they want us to move on from 1/6/2021.

The impeachment managers are Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX), Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI), Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA), Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), Rep, Ted Lieu (D-CA), Rep. Joe Neguse (D-CO), Rep. Stacey Palskett (D-VI) and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) lead the charges against former president Trump. They are going to provide evidence and facts to why the former president's infamous speech and his previous tweets led to the insurrection.

The House impeachment managers will prove without a shadow of doubt Trump caused the insurrection.

The insurrection led to Facebook, Twitter and many other platforms ban Trump and a handful of his allies. It also led to cancellations of Lou Dobbs on Fox News and Fox Business, it led to a lawsuit against the network from Systematic and Dominion Voting Systems.

Some of these individuals are placed on the infamous "No Fly List" and are being fired out their cannon at their employers.

Trump has been holed up at Mar a Lago since the presidency ended and is being threatened with legal ramifications for his continued stay in the resort.

The BIG LIE was spread by the former president and his allies with the intent to dispute the results of the election. He knew he could lose the election. So in order to never concede to President Joe Biden, Trump would continue to tell his supporters that the election was stolen.

Trump continued this farce all the way until the Electoral College certified Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris as the winners. 

He told his supporters to fight like hell. Even those idiot Republicans in the House of the Representatives voted to not certify Biden as the winner. It was a legitimate election and the party of "law and order" and "traditional values" subcumbed to the will of Trump.

The Republican and Democratic lawmakers all faced death that day. Not only from the angry mob but the coronavirus. Many of those in the mob refused to wear facial protection. They created a path of danger for all Americans.

On day one, Republicans and conservatives slammed Trump impeachment lawyer Bruce Castor.

He gave a weak introduction and added fuel to the fire. Trump was angry over Castor and David Schoen's performance.
