There Ain't No Sisterhood!

Da Brat and LisaRaye feud on a podcast.
BLACK LIVES MATTER

HER NAME WAS BREONNA TAYLOR

Did you know that rapper/media personality Da Brat's half-sister is actress/model/reality television agitator LisaRaye McCoy?

On the Fox Soul podcast Cocktails with Queens, there was tension between the two. LisaRaye went "Black" on the ladies and spared no one. She aimed most of the attacks at Da Brat.

LisaRaye felt disrespected by Da Brat. The two have some unresolved tensions and it came to head on this podcast.

Da Brat recently announced she's a lesbian (bisexual) and is engaged to her longtime girlfriend, reality television agitator and business mogul Jesseca Dupart.

On the podcast, LisaRaye celebrates her birthday with the cast of Fox Soul. They introduced her half-sister as a surprise present to her. It literally caught the entertainer off guard. She was literally in tears when she brought Da Brat on the show.

Claudia Jordan, Syleena Johnson and Vivica A. Fox were shocked to hear LisaRaye go off on them and Da Brat like that.

LisaRaye was upset over the fact Brat kept her personal life out of the spotlight. Like most people in the news, we all found out through the junk food media about Brat's coming out and her engagement.

You would think she would tell her sister about it. I guess that's what drove LisaRaye to rip the rapper and the co-hosts a new one.

"I just did not want to hear it from the blog. I didn't get to hear it from you. I had to see it from someplace else, so I'm hurt. That's what I am," said LisaRaye.

It's been well known the two share the same father. But folks didn't care or it was just an "open secret."

The two started to argue when LisaRaye accused Brat of not keeping in touch with her. The entertainer laid the smackdown. She said she's the reason why Brat got Jesseca.

"I don't give a fuck what ya'll saying. I don't give a fuck what y'all saying. At all. Y'all don't know shit. At all. She do," LisaRaye said.

R&B Singer Syleena Johnson tired to keep the women from arguing and the podcast end on a sour note.

Brat ended with the interview with tears. It was an awkward experience.

I will say that blood is thicker than water. But in the world of hip-hop, a rap feud doesn't often involve rappers. It involves entertainers and rappers (even if its by the bloodline).
