Florida city repeals its saggy pants ban.

Opa-locka, Florida repealed its 13-year ban against saggy pants. That ban was seen as an attempt to stop African American males from having their pants hanging down showing their underwear.

The city commission voted this ordinance in 2007 and another ordinance that cited men or women for showing their underwear while sagging. On Wednesday, the city repealed the ordinances.

"I was never in support of it, even as a resident," vice mayor Chris Davis, who sponsored the repeal.

"I felt it disproportionately affected a certain segment of our population, which is young, African-American men."

They want to sag their pants. Let them.

The vote to repeal the ban will have to be approved one more time before it's official. The repela was initially approved by a 4-1 vote.

Opa-locka is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It has a population of 23,000 residents.

The city has a majority Black population. About 68% of the residents are African American (non-Latino).

I will be blunt with you, I heard that in prison, if you're sagging, you're fresh. An inmate who hasn't slept with anyone in years will find a mark. They will take advantage of the young inmates. They will groom them and eventually make them their....well you know.

Often, men who act effeminate or chubby will be a.....well you know!
