Biden says the allegations are false. He explains his side to Mika Brzezinski. |
Allegations are not facts. There are two sides to the story.
If the story is true or false, it will continue to be a burden on Biden.
So I peep the tweets from the Republican National Committee's chairwoman, Ronna Romney McDaniel. She is jumping into the fray. Instead of trying to win over voters, she's doing "whataboutism" when it comes to allegations of prominent politicians.
Her focus should be on trying to save what's left of Donald J. Trump's legacy and motivate Republicans to the ballots. Her focus is to keep the pressure from Trump who has at least 30 accusers.
Mind you there one woman who demanded the same coverage as this accuser but it was swept under the rug as well.
The bandwagon of conspiracies and half-truths continues on.
How is it possible that MSNBC didn’t ask Joe Biden about the evidence that corroborates Tara Reade’s story?— Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) May 1, 2020
Nothing about the Larry King call, nothing about the women she told.
The American people deserve answers.
Biden refuses to apply his own standards to himself.— Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) May 1, 2020
He demanded Bloomberg release records. He won’t do the same.
He demanded we believe the “essence” of Kavanaugh allegations. He disregards that standard now, despite all the corroborating evidence.
The hypocrisy is unreal.
Joe Biden went to MSNBC to directly respond to the allegations from (Alexandra) Tara Reade (Moulton/McCabe). The presumptive Democratic nominee talks to Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe.
Biden got a fair amount of tough questions.
Regardless of how many questions answered and straight up denials, the far-extremes will keep pressuring for more answers and offer more speculation without any confirmation.
It seems like [the far-extremes are] more concerned with weaponizing the "MeToo" movement to suit their political interests instead of protecting the integrity of victims of sexual assault and harassment.
Accuser claims Biden assaulted her in the U.S. Capitol. |
She said that she filed complaints to the supervisor and management. She also overheard a conversation about Biden remarking about her legs when they asked her to serve drinks.
The Biden Campaign quickly responded saying the allegations are false. But recent developments by the former neighbor of Tara Reade has forced Biden to respond.
The allegations picked up steam when this accuser went to a pro-Bernie Sanders agitator. The agitator is Katie Halper who hosted this accuser and then it became a national story. The far-anarchist and far-white have demanded the junk food media cover it.
Brzezinski asked him the question about sexually assaulting her.
"No, it is not true. I'm saying unequivocally: It never happened."
We have lived long enough with a President who doesn’t think he is accountable to anyone, and takes responsibility for nothing. That’s not me. As a Presidential candidate, I’m accountable to the American people. https://t.co/Wm1666LF8A— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) May 1, 2020
Then Brzezinski asked Biden about any complaints or remembrance of the accuser and non-disclosure agreements.
"I'm confident there is nothing -- no one that I'm aware of filed a complaint, no one in my such request of complaint."
Biden said, "I'm not worried about it at all. If there's a complaint, that's where it would be."
Reade has said there could be records of her complaint in the documents from Biden's decades in the Senate that he archived at the University of Delaware, but Biden said those papers contain no personal files.
"A record like this can only be in one place," Biden said. "My archives do not contain any personnel files -- they're all public records. If a complaint like this exists, it would be in the National Archives. So I'm asking the secretary of the Senate today to release those documents."
Brzezinski gave one of the toughest interview towards Biden on the allegations of sexual assault. |
This is complicated. I don't want to say much other than I just don't find the allegations credible.
Is this the biggest political issue for us?
An allegation about a political candidate or a life-or-death virus.
I mean it's not like 75,000 people are dying in the United States. Oh, they are and it's due to COVID-19 and the failure of federal government. The head of federal government is Donald J. Trump.
So the more Trump is out of the limelight, the more the junk food media focuses on Biden.
I see it.
Part II of the interview.
Reade will appear on Fox News Sunday to give her side of the story.
The accuser will have a chance to answer question about Biden.
