There is reports that Columbus, Ohio based Wendy's Restaurants is warning the U.S. government that the COVID-19 pandemic is hurting the meat industry. Wendy's is reporting that some of its restaurants are running out of food.

There's 1 out of 5 restaurants are running out of fresh beef and are limiting purchases.

Locations in California, South Carolina and Kentucky are confirming that they're having setbacks due to the company that provides the meat being shutdown due to the coronavirus.
"Some of our menu items may be in short supply from time to time at some restaurants in this current environment," Wendy's said in a statement. "We expect this to be temporary, and we're working diligently to minimize the impact to our customers and restaurants.
Food processing plants have reported a rise in coronavirus cases and Donald J. Trump has signed an executive order to keep them open despite handfuls of workers being tested positive for the deadly disease.
Also, Costco, Kroger, Walmart, Meijer, Vons, Wawa, Tops, Target, Save A Lot, Aldi and Giant Eagle are limiting ground beef and pork purchases at stores. They are warning that panic shopping is not going to be tolerated.
Not all bad news.
