Troll Gets Hard Time For Terrorizing Activist!

White terrorist threatened Black activist.
This white guy who had a mental issues and ties to white nationalism could face a half-dozen in the iron college after he made threats against a man who was running for local office.

This terrorist posted a series of racist messages on social media in 2019 designed to intimidate Don Gathers, 61, out of running for office.

This wackjob is from Florida. The terrorist pleas guilty to cyberstalking and bias-motivated interference with a candidate for elective office in a hearing held by video link on Thursday.

The terrorist was extradited to Virginia to face charges. He had to appear in Charlottesville.

You may remember the 2017 incident where a white terrorist from Ohio murdered Heather Heyer, a woman who protested against his far-white ideology. The incident sparked a controversy when Donald J. Trump said that there were "very fine people." He said that "both sides" do it.

Praising the far-white and Neo-Nazis kind isn't something folks took kindly too.

The terrorist was posting on these websites. I won't mention them here.

He was posting the personal address and phone number of Gathers on social media.

Gathers learned about the threats when he declared his intentions to run for office. The FBI was working with an informant who infiltrated these white extremist websites to see if he was willing to incriminate himself into calling for an attack on Gathers.

Gathers who was tipped about the notifications quickly bolted from the race and informed the feds that his life and family were in danger.

"you just can't be watchful and protective of everyone 24 hours a day, so it very much leaves you on edge and makes you rethink some things," he told the AP.
Don Gathers had to suspend his campaign after he got death threats from folks like this white terrorist.
Gathers was there when the terrorist plead guilty to the charges.

When he was nabbed in Florida, he went upon U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Wilson. He was told that he was a threat to society and was detained without a "get out free card." His phone, computers, laptops, tablets, magazines, firearms and passport were probably seized in the arrest.

So now he's going to spend time either in a federal time out or a state iron college.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, he is certainly not going to be leaving the system on good behavior.

He will have to risk getting infected because his criminal acts were violent.

U.S. governors are releasing criminals who have non-violent offenses. Any criminal who has sexual violence, gun crimes, terrorism and willing destruction or vandalism of property are not getting their "free card." Many U.S. prisons are feeling heat because of the coronavirus. Interns are claiming that their rights are being violated. They are not getting proper protection and are being bunched with possibly infected people.
