The CW network, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros Entertainment confirmed the news that the series will continue into season 2 with a new actress.
Rose, an Austalian-born model, actress and businesswoman broke barriers as the first series star to be protraying an openly lesbian superhero. She is confirmed as a gender fluid entertainer. This became a breakthrough for the LGBTQ community who often have no representation.
The first season was an introduction into the Kate Kane, a woman who had a passion for helping the defenseless and seeking a path. She took on the mantle of her cousin, Bruce Wayne, the Batman. She would find herself in Gotham with some of the Rogues of The Dark Knight.
Rose played an important role in the epic crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Kate Kane travels to a different Earth and encounters a disheveled Batman. He inspires her to make a choice between the folks to protect or the vengence she seeks. |
Kevin Conroy played Wayne on Infinite. He is the voice of Batman in the animated television shows and DC Movies.
Rose was concerned about her health. She did most of her stunts. Some of the stunts injured her. She said that the pressure was getting to her. She voiced frustrations with the role. She opened up about being bipolar and had voiced concerns that she is being overworked.
The series was going to conclude its full 24 episodes but it was cut short to 20 due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
Filming was in Los Angeles, Chicago and Vancouver, Canada. The COVID-19 pandemic halted filming in theses cities as well as New York, Atlanta, Miami and Toronto. Most of your favorite shows are filmed in the United States and Canada. The coronavirus has pretty much halted films and television shows.

Canadian actor Logan Williams passed away in March. Many thought he died from complications of the coronavirus. His family confirmed he passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. He played the role of young Barry Allen. He witnessed the Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne kill his mother and adult Barry try to save her.
