Apple is retiring a legendary product that made iPod and iPhones popular.
The confirmation is real. Apple is ending iTunes.
Apple already has Apple Music and Shazam under its belt and it has partnered with Beats Audio for its digital music catalog.
For nearly 20 years, iTunes was the place where people could buy their albums and favorite singles for a reasonable price.

Apple will create seperate entities that offer music, TV/movies, podcasts and games. The new look will eliminate your library and that collection of music stored.
Monday, Tim Cook will announce the official retirement of iTunes.
So be prepared for a lot of outrage, support and confussion.
