American discounters are raising fees on their products. The results of Donald J. Trump and his ridiculous trade war with China, Mexico and the European Union.

Dollar Tree is going to raise prices on items and they cite Trump and global uncertainty as a factor. This also will hurt those who bought items for a mere dollar.

This also affects its sister company Family Dollar and competitor Dollar General.

The three companies specialize in low prices and affordable convenience.

The tariffs that are being imposed on China have forced Dollar Tree to find ways to keep business running without completely voiding its trademark.

Some locations are starting to increase the amounts on certain items. You might see it in milk, toilet paper, bread, soft drinks and snacks. Things that many took for granted.

Trump claims that this will force Americans to buy American made products.

It's really causing the U.S. consumer to hold back spending on goods and services.
