Central Park Five Prosecutor Linda Fairstein Lost Her Book Deal!

Former New York prosecutor turned author who dealt with the Central Park Five loses her book deal and is fired out the cannon at her organization.
Former New York state prosecutor finds herself off the speaking tours. Due to the outrage, Linda Fairstein had to step away from the limelight. With good reason. The former state prosecutor was responsible for sending the Central Park Five to the iron college.

Five teens were wrongfully accused of raping a white jogger. They each got time in the iron college before being set free on the grounds of misconduct and corruption within the New York Police Department.

Donald J. Trump called the Central Park Five, scum and hope they had gotten the DEATH card for the actions they were wrongfully accused of.

The teens said their confessions were coerced and their convictions were overturned in 2002.
Five teens were convicted of a crime they didn't even commit.
A convicted serial killed and rapist Matias Reyes confessed to the rape. He is currently serving a 45 years sentence. He said that acted alone in his criminal act.

There's a docu-series on Netflix called "When They See Us."

The movie was produced by Ava DuVerna and it's winning praise worldwide. It also sparked massive discussion to how the justice system failed people of color.

The movie featured convicted felon Felicity Huffman who is portrayed as Fairstein.

The City of New York settled with the men. Yusef Salaam, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana, Antron McCary and Kharey Wise each settled with the city.

Dutton cancelled her contract. Fairstein was also forced to resign from Safe Horizon, God's Love We Deliver, The Joyful Heart Foundation and Vassar College.

She had her lifetime achievement award recalled after the backlash.

To this day, Trump has never apologized for his comments. He continues to attack them and believes in his heart the men were guilty as sin.
