President Joe Biden has the coronavirus and is off the campaign trail. It is mild and he said he is "good." This is the latest and it has only strengthen the concerns.
The Democrats leaders are now telling the president that if he continues, they may lose everything. They want him out now.
If he drops out, they lose regardless.
The Republicans are willing to back a rapist, convicted felon, instigator of political violence, a wannabe dictator, a moron and a piece of shit.
The pro-Israel Democratic lawmakers, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and white Democrats are the loudest.
Biden met with Hollywood executive and top Democratic donor Jeffrey Katezenberg in Las Vegas on Wednesday to discuss strategy, according to the report. Katezenberg allegedly told Biden that donors’ patience is getting thin and that the cash flow could stop.
Biden has faced renewed criticism following his poorly received debate against Trump. And after helping Biden rake in a record-breaking amount of money for his campaign, actor George Clooney has now called for the president to drop out of the race.
Instead of focusing on unity, Democrats work on dysfunction.
Let me be clear, when Black voters turn on Biden, then it is over.
Jonathan Karl reports that the Pro-Israel lawmakers are demanding he steps down.
As one person who has been defending Biden publicly since his debate performance said Wednesday, "Biden is going to see the whole house of cards come down soon."
The meeting didn't get much attention as it happened shortly before the assassination attempt later that day on former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania.
A knowledgeable source close to both men tells me Schumer had a blunt conversation with Biden, making the case it would be best if Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.
Focus on issues not the noise.
When asked about this, Schumer's spokesperson declined to comment on specifics of the meeting, saying only that "Leader Schumer conveyed the views of his caucus."
Later, the leader's spokesperson added: "Unless ABC's source is Chuck Schumer or President Joe Biden the reporting is idle speculation. Leader Schumer conveyed the views of his caucus directly to President Biden on Saturday."
A source familiar with the matter tells ABC News that House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has expressed similar views directly to Biden, suggesting he should drop out of the race.
Republicans get the opportunity to hear from vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance.

“Make America Strong Once Again” will be the overarching theme for the third day of the convention, with the Republican platform calling for overhauls of the U.S.’ foreign policy.
Planks of that platform include more domestic production of energy to rely less on foreign sources of fuel, restoring peace in Europe, and boosting military spending, according to the GOP.
The platform is a farce. The Republicans didn't make America strong when Jan. 6 happened, the endless mass shootings, the U.S. military officials killed during Afghanistan, the pandemic and climate change events. They didn't make our country safe by aiding Israel and siding with Russia. They didn't make our country safe when cut regulations and it led to major accidents.
The U.S. is downsliding in democracy. Republicans are a bunch of chickenshits.
They exploit tragedy for political gains.
They never brought on any victims of gun violence.
They never brought on women who were raped and forced to carry their children.
They never brought on a victim of a hate crime.
They care more about police officers and military officials who were killed while serving their duties.
Independent senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey was found guilty in federal court. Now the Democratic Caucus which he has a role in is calling for him to resign or face expulsion.
The 12-member jury found Menendez guilty on all 16 counts after a two-month trial on charges that all but ended his political career. Federal prosecutors accused Menendez of bribery, acting as a foreign agent for Egypt, obstruction of justice, extortion and conspiring to commit those crimes.
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Gov. Phil Murphy have personally called Menendez and told him to step aside.
Menendez was largely expressionless as the guilty verdicts were read. His attorney Avi Weitzman patted him on the back at one point.
“I am deeply, deeply disappointed by the jury’s decision. I have every faith that the law and the facts did not sustain that decision and that we will be successful upon appeal,” Menendez told reporters outside the courthouse Tuesday. “I have never violated my public oath.”
Menendez is seeking reelection to the Senate as an independent, although the guilty verdicts quickly raise the prospect of an expulsion vote unless he opts to resign from office. He’s already faced calls to resign from his former Democratic allies in New Jersey and on Capitol Hill.
It is now up to U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein to determine the 70-year-old Menendez’s sentence, scheduled for Oct. 29. He faces decades in prison.
Federal prosecutors in New York announced the bombshell indictment against Menendez last fall, describing a yearslong bribery scheme involving Menendez, his wife Nadine Menendez and three New Jersey businesspeople. The alleged bribes began flowing shortly after the senator’s 2017 corruption trial ended in a hung jury. Two of the businesspeople — Wael “Will” Hana and Fred Daibes — were also found guilty, while the third, Jose Uribe, made a plea deal and testified against Menendez.
Daibes, when asked by reporters how he felt after the verdict, said “not good.” Hana declined to comment but his attorney Lawrence Lustberg said the verdict was not “consistent with the facts, the law or justice.”
“I don’t think the evidence supports that there was a quid pro quo,” he said. “I don’t think the evidence supports that there were official acts within the meaning of the statute. I do not think that this verdict will stand up to scrutiny in post-trial proceedings and on appeal.”
Prosecutors described Menendez as a “senator on the take” who used his power and influence to benefit his associates and the governments of Egypt and Qatar in exchange for cash, gold bars and a Mercedes-Benz for Nadine, who was also charged but did not stand trial because of a cancer diagnosis.
Damian Williams, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said that “this case has always been about shocking levels of corruption.” He added: “This wasn’t politics as usual. It was politics for profit.”
Menendez adamantly denied the accusations and pleaded not guilty. He resisted calls to resign and suggested he was being targeted because of his Cuban background, then later said that prosecutors were “hunting” him like “prey.”
Immediately after the verdict, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called on Menendez to step down.
“In light of this guilty verdict, Senator Menendez must now do what is right for his constituents, the Senate, and our country, and resign,” Schumer said in a brief statement.
Should Menendez’s Senate seat be vacated before his term expires early next year, Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy will appoint a replacement to serve the remainder of his term. He reiterated his call for Menendez to step down and, if not, urged the Senate to vote to expel him so he could appoint a successor.
Rep. Andy Kim is the Democratic nominee for the full Senate term and is favored to win in November. He called it “a sad and somber day for New Jersey and our country.”
“I called on Senator Menendez to step down when these charges were first made public, and now that he has been found guilty, I believe the only course of action for him is to resign his seat immediately,” Kim said in a statement. “The people of New Jersey deserve better.”
You see the difference between Democrats and Republicans.
Democrats hold members of their own party accountable. Republicans embrace theirs.
Donald J. Trump was convicted in New York court of falsifying business records in regards to Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen. Thanks to the Supreme Court, Trump now can claim he has immunity from criminal charges and is seeking to have his conviction overturned. He is also trying to get his state charges in Georgia and federal court dropped.
Alieen Cannon, U.S. District Judge of South Florida dismissed the stolen classified documents indictments against Trump.
The Supreme Court also allowed Trump to appear on the U.S. primary and general election ballot despite his role in the insurrection on Jan. 6.
The father of Kobe Bryant, Joe "Jellybean" Bryant has passed away at the age of 69.
Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's widow confirmed her former father-in-law had passed away from complications of a stroke.
“Sending our condolences upon hearing the news of my father in law’s passing,” Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s widow, posted Tuesday on her Instagram story. “We hoped things would’ve been different. Although the times we spent together were few, he was always sweet and nice to be around. Kobe loved him very much.”
Bryant, who spent eight seasons in the NBA with three different franchises, was 69. The Philadelphia Inquirer, citing La Salle coach Fran Dunphy, reported that Joe Bryant recently had a massive stroke.
“We are saddened to announce the passing of La Salle basketball great Joe Bryant,” the school said in a news release. “Joe played for the Explorers from 1973-75 and was a member of our coaching staff from 1993-96. He was a beloved member of the Explorer family and will be dearly missed.”
Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 in Calabasas, California, as the group was making its way to a basketball tournament. Joe and Pam Bryant, who were married for nearly a half-century, had a sometimes frosty relationship with Kobe, but they were in the front row for the memorial service in Los Angeles about a month after Kobe and Gianna died.
Joe Bryant was the No. 14 pick by Golden State in the 1975 draft, and the Warriors wound up selling his rights to Philadelphia before the start of his rookie season. He played four years for the 76ers, three for the San Diego Clippers and one for the Houston Rockets, averaging 8.7 points in 606 games.
From there, he embarked on an international career, with stops in France and Italy. The years in Italy shaped Kobe Bryant; it was there that he started to truly develop a love for basketball as well as becoming fluent in Italian. The family moved back to the Philadelphia area around the time that Kobe Bryant was 13, he became a high school star and was drafted four years later.
“I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant and join the basketball community in mourning a true Philly hoops legend,” said Detroit Pistons vice chairman Arn Tellem, Kobe Bryant’s former agent. “Our friendship opened the door for me to represent Kobe as he entered the NBA, a memory I’ll always cherish. Joe was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, whose warmth touched everyone he met.”
Joe Bryant had a number of coaching stints, including for teams in Italy, Japan and Thailand, as well as stints with the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks — meaning he was coaching in the same city as his son was playing for a number of years.
The junk food media still talks about how Biden needs to be replaced.
During the Republican National Convention, NBC News host Lester Holt had a sitdown with President Joe Biden at the White House. The grievances are far and plenty with the Democrats and it certainly has Biden quite annoyed.
Biden said he is not dropping out and he is not afraid.
When Black voters say it's time to get out, then Biden might get out.
In the wake of the assassination attempt on former president Donald J. Trump, Biden rescheduled a few events to get the Secret Service to reevaluate what went wrong and how to protect Biden, Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris, their families and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), the Republican vice presidential nominee.
The Republicans are promising unity.
So far it's only unity when it comes to being hateful towards Biden and the Democrats.
White Democratic lawmakers are calling for Biden to get out the race.
Biden was more questions about his age and not his policies. He was asked more about polls than the list of accomplishments he and Harris done. He was about Trump and the tone of civility but not Trump actually using his assassination attempt to earn donations.
Polls and the debate not Trump and his lies. Not the political rhetoric spawned by Trump and most of the speakers, lawmakers and pundits at the RNC.
Biden also sent to Las Vegas to speak at the NAACP National Convention. Did the junk food media cover it?
Nope.
Biden got not only Trump and Vance to deal with, but the political agitators, the wobbly knee Democrats, the misinformation being spread, Israel, Russia and political threats on his life.
So here's Monday's interview and Tuesday's Biden rally.
He will appeal the Trump documents espionage case.
U.S. District Judge Alieen Cannon threw out the indictment against former president Donald J. Trump. It was unprecedented to have a criminal case against a former president thrown out. But the whole thing was delayed indefinitely and Cannon showed her readiness to back a president who could abuse his power.
Cannon proved she is inexperienced and downright incompetent as a federal judge.
Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) celebrated the decision to throw out the 40 charges.
Democracy downslide.
In 2022, Cannon presided over the case of Donald J. Trump v. United States of America. She ordered the U.S. government to pause using materials seized from Trump's private club and residence in its investigation and granted Trump's request for a special master to review the material. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit reversed and rebuked Cannon after it found she had wrongly exercised jurisdiction over the case. Cannon then dismissed Trump's lawsuit per instructions[clarification needed] from the Eleventh Circuit.
Following Trump's indictment in June 2023, Cannon oversaw a federal criminal case against Trump. Many legal experts, citing her handling of the civil case against Trump, called for her recusal from the case. Under Cannon, the case was considerably delayed from getting to trial, with Cannon granting multiple requests by Trump to extend pre-trial motions. Cannon dismissed the case against Trump in July 2024, ruling that the special counsel's appointment was unconstitutional.
Who says the rule of law matters? It isn't federal judge Alieen Cannon.
U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office said it would appeal the order, which could result in it eventually being overturned by a higher court. But for now at least, the dismissal by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon brings a stunning and abrupt halt to a criminal case that at the time it was filed was widely regarded as the most perilous of all the legal threats the Republican former president confronted.
Though the case had long been stalled, and the prospect of a trial before the November election already nonexistent, the judge’s order is a significant legal and political victory for Trump as he recovers from a weekend assassination attempt and prepares to accept the Republican nomination in Milwaukee this week.
It’s the latest stroke of good fortune in the four criminal cases Trump has faced. He was convicted in May in his New York hush money trial, but the sentencing has been postponed after a Supreme Court opinion that conferred broad immunity on former presidents. That opinion will cause major delays in a separate case charging Trump with plotting to overturn his 2020 election loss to Democrat Joe Biden. Another election subversion case filed in Atlanta has been delayed by revelations of a romantic relationship between the district attorney and a special prosecutor she hired for the case.
As we cover the second night of America's most whiniest political party and their convention, I want to say that they allowed rivals Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley to speak. The Republicans have nominated Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States and James Dean Vance, the first term U.S. senator from Ohio.
The Republican are in Milwaukee celebrating their convention where they have an opportunity to make their case for the Americans.
With the nation being clearly divided, Trump and Vance will likely continue this. Trump was nearly assasinated by a white terrorist while campaigning in Pennsylvania.
Trump is the first U.S. former president who is a convicted criminal. He is a sexual predator. He is a fruadster. He is the instigator of political violence and sedition. The Republicans are embolden by Christian Nationalism and pseudo freedom.
They continue to deny election results, demonize transgender Americans, demonize Muslims, demonize pro Palestinian protesters, demonize immigrants, demonize gay Americans, demonize women and continue to embrace extremism within the MAGA wing of the Republican Party.

Tonight, Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance will accept their nomination for the 2024 Republican presidential race.
The 2024 Republican National Convention is an ongoing event in which delegates of the United States Republican Party selected the party's nominees for president and vice president in the 2024 United States presidential election. It is being held from July 15 to 18, 2024, at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The assassination attempt on Trump now is national news.
Milwaukee is expected to host more than 50,000 visitors over the four-day convention. Security measures are strict, with access to the hard zone perimeter—established weeks prior to the event—restricted to those with credentials.
Trump arrived in Milwaukee on Sunday and is slated to reveal his vice presidential selection on Monday. Follow here the live updates from day one of the RNC.

A millionaire do nothing senator who was a former critic is a convict felon's ex-billionaire former president's running mate.
Barely two years in and former president Donald J. Trump picks insufferable senator J.D. Vance of Ohio.
The freshman Ohio senator with barely any legislative accomplishments is going to be a MAGA loyalist. He will not question the unethical behavior and unlawful actions of a future Trump presidency.
The 39 year old Middletown, Ohio born U.S. senator is a millionaire, writer, political activist. He is married to Usha Chilukuri Vance, an Indian American professor. They have three children. They live in Cincinnati, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
Vance served in the Marine Corps before studying political science and philosophy at Ohio State University and earning a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
He came to prominence with his 2016 memoir, Hillbilly Elegy, which describes his upbringing in Middletown and his family's Appalachian values[clarification needed]. It became a New York Times bestseller and later a film, and attracted significant press attention during the 2016 United States presidential election.
Vance was originally a critic of Trump, writing a critical piece about him in 2016 in The Atlantic and referring to Trump in private correspondence as "America's Hitler."
Vance later became a supporter of Trump during his presidency.
Vance launched his first political campaign in 2021 to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate. He won the Republican nomination with Trump's support and running against Democratic nominee Tim Ryan in the general election.
In the Senate, Vance has been described as a proponent of economic populism.
On social issues, Vance supported the overturning of Roe v. Wade and opposes abortion rights even in cases of rape or incest, but supports exceptions when a mother's life is in danger.
On foreign policy, Vance has opposed U.S. military aid for Ukraine.
Vance is a strong supporter of U.S. support for Israel amid the Israel–Hamas war.
He is insufferable as a lawmaker in Ohio. Certainly an insufferable vice presidential nominee.
The assassination attempt delayed his pick but I can clearly confirm that he had already made his pick.
The cat is out of the bag. Embattled former president Donald J. Trump picks North Dakota governor Doug Burgum as his running mate.
All you need to do is type trumpburgum.com and it automatically goes to Trump 2024.
So as the Republican Party gathers in Milwaukee, Burgum and his wife are there.
The U.S. Secret Service will now protect him, his wife and family.
He is a two term Republican governor from North Dakota. He is relatively unknown.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris must not underestimate the two.
With the junk food media still obsessed with the noise calling for Biden to step down and the former president surviving an assassination attempt, the noise is more sympathetic towards Trump.
We will ignore the things he's done while he was president.
Notably his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and Jan. 6 should be the reasons for him being unfit to be president. His old running mate Mike Pence had not endorsed him.
Pence might change his mind now that Trump picked Burgum.
The wealthy former software executive, now on a shortlist to be Donald Trump’s running mate, was laser-focused on priorities like strengthening the state’s economy and cutting taxes. He mostly steered clear of social issues that animated many fellow Republicans, and he sometimes pushed back on them.
In 2020, Burgum criticized an anti-LGBTQ resolution of the state GOP as “hurtful and divisive rhetoric.” He vetoed a 2021 measure to ban transgender girls from playing on girls’ teams in public schools, saying it “would unnecessarily inject the state into a local issue by creating a ban with myriad unforeseen consequences.” In 2023, Burgum vetoed a bill he said would make teachers into “pronoun police.”
But as Burgum prepared a bid for the presidency that spring, he also signed a sheaf of bills that imposed restrictions on transgender people — including two that were nearly identical to the sports ban he vetoed in 2021. Another bill banned gender-affirming medical treatments for kids, and he signed a measure that had provisions nearly identical to parts of the pronoun bill he had vetoed earlier in 2023. Burgum also signed a book ban bill, though he did veto a second, further-reaching one. Opponents decried both bills for targeting LGBTQ themes.
While conservatives cheered, others close to Burgum — who applaud what they call his independent streak and inclusivity as a leader — said the 2023 bill signings were disappointing and marked a shift as the governor entered the national stage. Some saw Burgum’s willingness to support the measures as an attempt to gain traction among Republicans as he eyed a presidential campaign, or as a response to action in other GOP-led states.
State Rep. Emily O’Brien, a moderate Republican who opposed the bills but supported Burgum’s presidential bid, said it was shocking Burgum signed them because of his business mentality of “trying to move the needle” and improve government, not drive social issues.
“Social issues aren’t helping move the needle — economic development, quality of life ... in his words, ‘treating the taxpayers like customers,’” she said. “I think it’s, you know, that business-model mentality of ‘No matter who comes through the door, you treat them with respect.’”
Mike Pence 2.0.
Burgum, through a spokesman, declined an interview request for this story. He told The Bismarck Tribune after the 2023 session — Burgum’s last regular legislative session as governor — that with Republicans holding enough seats in the state Legislature to override his vetoes, he had to “pick his spots.” He also bemoaned the time and energy spent on social issues as “a missed opportunity.”
“I talk to real people, creating real jobs, building real companies and hiring people, and some of the things the Legislature is focused on is not what the citizens are focused on,” Burgum said.
Caedmon Marx, of Bismarck, repeatedly testified against the anti-trans bills when they were before the Legislature. Marx previously viewed Burgum as someone in the political middle, who had North Dakota’s best interests in mind.
“After last session, it was kind of someone with his own interests in mind and his own political gain,” said Marx, whose boyfriend, a transgender man, moved to Minnesota earlier this year due to the new laws.
Burgum, 67, grew up in tiny Arthur, North Dakota. After earning a master’s of business administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Burgum went on to lead Great Plains Software. In 2001, Microsoft acquired the company for $1.1 billion, and Burgum stayed on as a vice president until 2007. He’s led other companies in real estate development and venture capital.
When he launched his 2016 bid for governor, Burgum’s announcement — like other speeches he gives — felt like a TED Talk, complete with a slideshow and lacking a lectern. Burgum ran on a vision of “reinventing” government as the state faced a $1 billion revenue shortfall that drained reserves. He defeated North Dakota’s longtime attorney general in the GOP primary, a major upset.
Maybe this is a wake up call. Words have consequences and Trump better think twice before he makes violent rhetoric.
Being shot at doesn't immediately make your a favorite to win the presidency. Matter of fact, it makes the United States downside further down in democracy. It shows that politics have become too extreme and civilians are now using violence as a reason.
Maybe Howard The Duck will win the Republican nomination.
The U.S. and its support for Israel while condemning Russia, the rhetoric of many political agitators, candidates refusing to accept losing an election, conspiracy theories and propaganda has the world looking at the superpower in decline.
Very bad optics. His ego is off the chain.
Former president Donald J. Trump is preparing to accept his nomination as the 2024 Republican nominee. His reluctance to continue on despite a near assassination shows how desperate he is to stay out of legal limbo.
He still is a convicted criminal.
He is still a twice impeached president.
He is still under investigation for not returning classified documents.
He is found liable for sexual assault.
He is found guilty of defrauding and stealing from the state of New York.
Being shot in the ear and then raising his fist telling his supporters to fight is just bad optics. Now his allies are trying to profit off this.
The victim in the mass shooting and assassination attempt on Trump was a raving lunatic.
Corey Comperatore had a presence on social media. He had an X account and it was chop full of conspiracy theories and dog whistle politics. The Republicans and his family is trying to paint him as a hero because according to his wife, he dived to save his family.
Biden shows real leadership. He offered compassion to his rival. Trump rarely offered compassion to Biden.
In reality, the shooter missed Trump and shot three others.
While I am shocked that Comperatore lost his life to gun violence, if he was alive he would not have any sympathy towards anyone who became a victim. His views showed a lack of empathy.
🇺🇸 | Rapper 50 Cent, who has survived being shot before, performed "Many Men" last night in front of an image of his "Get Rich or Die Tryin" album cover with Trump's face photoshopped onto his body. #TrumpAssasinationAttemptpic.twitter.com/YqR3SwmbkX
Trump probably did not show empathy either. After he was shot, his campaign showed videos of him exiting his plane and playing rounds of golf.
Trump was extremely lucky. Had he had an opportunity to rant and pointed towards the Republican senate nominee David McCormick, the bullet would have taken him out.
Trump may of had an epiphany. We shall see!
President Joe Biden did call Trump and the two spoke for about an hour. While we don't know what the two said, the former president did thank Biden.
Tonight is the kick off for the Republican National Convention.
Trump had allegedly called Milwaukee a horrible place. He may have changed his mind on that one.
DEI won't harm Corey Comperatore anymore.
Now he will be in town to meet and greet Democratic Gov. Tony Evers, Milwaukee mayor Cavalier Johnson, former chief of staff/previous RNC chair Reince Priebus, currently RNC chair Michael Whatley and Republican officials.
Republicans already blame Biden for the assassination attempt on Trump. Even though the shooter was a registered a Republican and his former allies said he had a far right mentality, the alleged donation to ActBlue is enough to dismiss him as a "Biden terrorist."
MAGA noise continues on.
Biden's campaign "rhetoric led directly to President Trump's attempted assassination," Senator J.D. Vance, on Trump's shortlist for vice president, alleged shortly after Saturday's shooting at a rally in Pennsylvania, in which the former US leader was wounded and one bystander killed.
Vance's comments were part of an escalating chorus of Republicans who have pinned the blame on Democrats -- even as the FBI says it has yet to identify the shooter's ideology.
They also heap more fuel onto the fire in a political atmosphere that has long been tense and fiercely polarized.
"Heated rhetoric has come from both sides" in recent years, Michael Bailey, a political science professor at Georgetown University, told AFP.
Republicans, for whom gun rights and a rejection of alleged government overreach are key themes, "have been more prone to marry such rhetoric with imagery related to guns," Bailey noted.
"And some of them (including Trump) did not cover themselves in glory when they made light of the violent attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband," he said, referring to the 2022 attack by a conspiracy theorist on the high-profile Democrat's spouse.
Trump later mocked the Pelosis, and stoked further conspiracy theories around the assault.
J.D. Vance and Majorie Taylor Greene continue to be insufferable.
Steve Scalise, a Republican who was shot in a 2017 attack on conservative lawmakers by a left-wing activist, has also blamed the left for Saturday's assassination attempt.
"Democrat leaders have been fueling ludicrous hysteria that Donald Trump winning reelection would be the end of democracy in America," he said.
"For years, and even today, leftist activists, Democrat donors and now even Joe Biden have made disgusting remarks and descriptions of shooting Donald Trump," Trump campaign adviser Chris LaCivita charged on X.
Biden did recently tell donors that it was "time to put Trump in the bullseye," according to comments put out by his campaign -- though he was speaking in the context of focusing the party on beating Trump.
Representative Mike Collins went further on the shooting, stating "Joe Biden sent the orders," without offering credible evidence.
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, meanwhile, offered an escalation of her own, telling her followers "we are in a battle between good and evil" and casting Democrats as "the party of pedophiles" and "violence."
"The Democrat party is flat out evil, and yesterday they tried to murder President Trump," she said.
Such accusations risk removing "attention from the very welcome, widespread condemnation of the attack," said Jacob Ware, a research fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
The heated rhetoric pushed Biden to issue a rare address to the nation from the Oval Office on Sunday in which he called on Americans to "lower the temperature."
1 in 5 Americans believe violence is the only way to solve political problems.
While the junk food media is going wall to wall on the mass shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania where former president Donald J. Trump was shot, the rest of the United States still had mass shootings.

In Birmingham, Alabama, two mass shootings in the city. Almost similar to the two mass shootings in Wichita, Baltimore, Dayton and Columbus which happened within hours or days of one another.
A mass shooting at a birthday party leaves four dead and 12 injured. Another shooting killed three.
President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Kay Ivey, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) and the U.S. Representatives of Alabama were notified of the mass shooting.
A drive-by shooting at an adult birthday party in Birmingham left fourpeopledeadand nine others injured.
Markeisha Gettings was a mother of four.
The deadly shooting happened about six hours after three people - including a young boy - were killed on the city’s eastside.
A large crowd was gathered at a social club in the 3400 block of 27th Street for the private party when gunfire erupted just after 11 p.m. Saturday.
It was the second incident of multiple homicides in Birmingham in a span of less than six hours Saturday. At about 5:30 p.m., three people were found shot to death in a separate incident.

People say Angela Weatherspoon was caring woman.
Birmingham police Deputy Chief Rodarius Mauldin said police quickly began receiving calls of multiple shots fired from the birthday party.
When officers arrived, they put out a max-emergency call for backup because of the large number of people gathered there. He described the scene as chaotic.
McGhee was found shot outside of the event venue. Weatherspoon and Gettings were found shot inside the club.
All three were pronounced dead on the scene.
Multiple victims began showing up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds, Mauldin said.
Anderson was among those, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police initially said nine others were wounded, but updated that number Sunday to 10.
“It’s still a fluid situation,’’ he said.
Mauldin said the deadly shots were fired from a vehicle. It wasn’t immediately clear whether there was more than one shooter.
“We’re unsure what led to the incident and whether someone was targeted,’’ Mauldin said.
Stevie McGhee was a father of three.
Numerous Birmingham police investigators responded to the scene, and some were brought in from other investigative units in addition to the homicide unit.
Mauldin said federal investigators also responded to assist.
At least 150 people were gathered outside the crime scene tape, including loved ones of those killed and wounded.
Maulding said detectives hope to get more information from the surviving victims, as well as witnesses who were at the party or in the area.
“We know there was a lot of people that saw and heard various things,’’ Mauldin said.
The Saturday night shooting was the second quadruple homicide in Birmingham this year, and the second shooting Saturday that left multiple people dead.
On Feb. 16, four men were killed in a targeted shooting at a neighborhood car wash in the city’s Smithfield community.
Earlier Saturday, a mother, her young son and her boyfriend were shot to death while in a vehicle on the city’s eastside.
Saturday’s seven homicides raised the total number of slayings in Birmingham this year to 89. There had been 74 homicides as of July 13, 2023.
In all of Jefferson County, there have been 112 homicides, including the 89 in Birmingham.
The U.S. Congress is by far the most laziest in modern history. They are willing to take away freedoms when it comes to using phones, protesting, driving, women's rights, voting rights and social media. When it comes to an actual threat to safety, say firearms, they refuse to pass even meaningful legislation to curb it.
Lerandus Anderson was the youngest victim in the mass shooting.
Far right lawmakers like Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) will hop on social media talking about it but not doing a damn thing to stop it.
To all the Black firearm owners who support the Second Amendment or former president Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential race, I just want to say...
"YOU'RE GONNA BE SHOT BY POLICE TOO!"
The National Rifle Association never reacts to lawful exercise of firearm use when a Black, Hispanic, Arab, Muslim, Indigenous, LGBTQ or underage teen of color is carrying them.
It is automatic dehumanizing from the far right, police unions and the junk food media.
When white men, women or even some Asians are carrying firearms, the NRA is often parading them around like they're heroes and protectors of freedom.
In about 45 states, I believe it is lawful for you to walk down a street with a firearm.
If you're a Black man walking down the street with a firearm, the random 911 call or the visual spotting from a police officer merits an automatic drawl of a service weapon.
Police officers within seconds are either shooting or premeditated an excuse to use force.
Birmingham had 80 homicides this year.
The unions back up their claims of "fearing for their lives" despite the perpetrator not even firing a round. Given that the junk food media loves to paint the aggressor as the victim, the police officer is given the benefit of doubt. The person police shot usually do not get any ounce of doubt. A mugshot of a suspect or a picture of a person posing with money or firearms automatically draws far right conclusions to justification of force.
Even fleeing from police with a firearm and not even pointing at them results in police shootings.
If a person does survive, the state still charges the person for a crime despite the state allowing open carry and lawful possession.
So I just want to say that the Second Amendment is White, period.
A bullet does not care about color. We all bleed red and so many lives are lost to gun violence and Republicans offer no solutions other than "thoughts and prayers" with a touch of "lock em up."
Gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.
I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases.
Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.
According to the far right: White shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant thugs and criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. According to the far right, almost all mass shooters are registered Democrats because they have liked or done one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme or make bogus social media platforms with the shooter's image as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white or associated with conservative causes. They say a white person should "protect" themselves from protesters and use of firearms are "justified" if they come to a protest to instigate conflict. They say if a shooter is active military or a veteran who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black.
The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms. The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. Let them know you are very tired of your lawmakers embarrassing themselves in the media. You are tired of your lawmakers always being outside their district or state. You elected them to serve their districts and state not travel across the country or to foreign countries on your taxpayer dollars. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists.
