The New Hampshire Attorney General is investigating a robocall that had an artificial intelligence voice of President Joe Biden telling New Hampshire Democrats to skip the primary.
Biden was not on the ballot but ended up winning in a write-in campaign. The win does not count but it shows that the Democrats are backing the president despite concerns sparked by the junk food media.
Democratic National Committee and its chairman Jaime Harrison said the official primary will be in South Carolina.
Marianne Williamson and Dean Phillips challenged the decision and fought to be on the New Hampshire primary ballot. Williamson since dropped out.
Now it appears that a former Phillips campaign adviser may have paid a New Orleans magician to do the AI voice and encourage voter interference. Phillips is still in the rac and he is polling at 12%. Thus, he is still a threat to Biden.
He even considered a "unity ticket" with former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Now it appears the magician is under federal watch and he is throwing everyone under the bus.
Paul Carpenter says he was hired in January by Steve Kramer — who has worked on ballot access for Democratic presidential candidate Dean Phillips — to use AI software to make the imitation of Biden’s voice urging New Hampshire Democrats not to vote in the state’s presidential primary.
“I created the audio used in the robocall. I did not distribute it,” Carpenter said in an interview in New Orleans, where he is currently residing. “I was in a situation where someone offered me some money to do something, and I did it. There was no malicious intent. I didn’t know how it was going to be distributed.”
Carpenter — who holds world records in fork-bending and straitjacket escapes, but has no fixed address — showed NBC News how he created the fake Biden audio and said he came forward because he regrets his involvement in the ordeal and wants to warn people about how easy it is to use AI to mislead.
Creating the fake audio took less than 20 minutes and cost only $1, he said, for which he was paid $150, according to Venmo payments from Kramer and his father, Bruce Kramer, that he shared.
“It’s so scary that it’s this easy to do,” Carpenter said. “People aren’t ready for it.”
Carpenter shared what he says is the original audio file created with Eleven Labs that appears to be a complete and higher quality version of the recording of the call NBC News previously reported.
This campaign is dead. Dean Phillips too stupid to realize it.
The robocall has drawn intense attention from New Hampshire and federal law enforcement officials for possibly violating state voter suppression and federal telecom laws. Officials have mentioned the name of a Dallas company that was used to place the automatic phone calls to voters ahead of the state’s primary and have vowed to investigate, citing a desire to make an example of those involved in the first known example of an AI-generated deepfake being deployed maliciously in an American political campaign. Authorities have not named Carpenter or Steve Kramer as targets of their investigation.
After publication, a spokesperson for New Hampshire's attorney general declined to comment, but said, "Our investigation remains active and ongoing."
They said Kramer is a political operative having worked for dozens of campaigns over 20 years including the 2020 presidential campaign of Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West.
Steve Kramer initially did not respond to multiple requests for comment. Days later, he said he would wait to speak on the matter until he publishes an opinion piece on Saturday. "My op-Ed will explain all," he said in a text.
The Phillips campaign and the candidate himself expressed outrage when asked about Steve Kramer’s alleged involvement, saying they will never work with him again and may pursue legal action if the allegations are confirmed.
"I’m disgusted that a consultant hired to assist my campaign w/ballot access is alleged to have faked a robocall impersonating Joe Biden," Phillips tweeted Friday after this story was published. "While I don’t know the person, such behavior is despicable and I trust will be investigated by authorities."
"It’s also despicable that the Party actively limits access to state ballots and blackballs reputable consultants who would otherwise work with challengers like me. The corruption in politics is pervasive and must be exposed and addressed," he added.
NBC News has seen no evidence that the campaign directed Steve Kramer to produce or disseminate the robocall.
Fox continues its pandering of bullshit. Raymond Arroyo and Tomi Lahren for example.
Fox had to pay $787 million dollars for pandering lies about Dominion Systems interfering in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. They are likely to face lawsuits from Smartmatic, Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton if they don't stop pushing conspiracy theories about them. These are private citizens and not public officials. Fox can work up fear and disdain at their own risk.
The U.S.-Mexican border is safe. It was proven safe by the Republicans rejecting a bipartisan bill that would have solved even a minimum amount of issues with immigration. They can't run on the economy because the job market is good and consumer spending is good.
Those losing their jobs are in the media. Folks are being let go in the newsroom and television studio.
Fox has claim Biden is working to destroy his political enemies. But in the same breathe, the network claims that Biden is a doddering old man who can barely speak a sentence.
When they are covering Donald J. Trump, the former president the network paints him as an iconic figure who is fighting against the deep state. A president who knew how to handle the border, fix the economy, talk to everyday Americans and people just love him.
Last week, Trump went to Philadelphia to promote a shoe line called Never Surrender.
The shoes cost over $400 and apparently selling out. Now you are an idiot if you are willing to shelve out a survival paycheck to pay for a shoe. Especially knowing that Trump is ordered to pay the state of New York over $355 million, E. Jean Carroll over $90 million and is bleeding his presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee dry.
Fox continues to prop Trump up like a hero or something.
The shoe was so impressive Raymond Arroyo made the claim that Blacks in the inner city are really digging Trump and his sneakers.
Wait a minute? Did Fox News pundit Raymond Arroyo really say this past weekend that black people will vote for Trump because "they love sneakers"?
Arroyo suggested Sunday on Fox’s Big Weekend Show that Black voters will now abandon the Democratic Party and President Joe Biden because the former president is selling athletic footwear.
Trump cultists are buying those godawful shoes.
“[Trump] somehow survives, which must drive his opponents crazy, because even the sneaker thing. I was on social media last night. Very interesting as you see Black support eroding from Joe Biden,” the Fox News co-host declared based on tweets he read.
“This is connecting with Black America because they love sneakers!” Arroyo added. “They’re into sneakers… this is a big deal, certainly in the inner city. So when you have Trump roll out his sneaker line, they’re like, ‘Wait a minute, this is cool!’”
The look on Tomi Lahren's face showed, "Uh, you fucked up!"
Biden is bleeding support because of Israel, the economy, his age and the lack of interest in the candidates. However, if Trump is the nominee, Biden may be well positioned to defeat him despite several polls saying the former president is leading.
Trump's antics have turned off voters. Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic is reason enough for Black voters to not vote for him. And no it's not because of Meek Mill, Kanye West, Kodak Black, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne, Lil Pump, Benny The Butcher, Sexy Redd or any rapper.
The former daytime talk show host and controversial gossip has the disease that forced Bruce Willis into retirement. It is a disease that will progress over time and it will slowly drain the mind of those diagnosed with it.
Wendy Williams was always the one who spilled the tea.
Now the tea is spilled and it's looking bad for the longtime talk show host.
Williams been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, according to her team.
Williams, who has been public with her issues regarding her Graves' disease and lymphedema, was diagnosed with both primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in 2023.
After receiving her diagnosis, Williams has been receiving the care she needs. Williams's team reported that she is still able to do many things by herself and still has a sense of humor.
According to her team, Williams's goal is to raise awareness about aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
Frontotemporal dementia impacts a person's behavior and cognitive functions due to the damage to neurons in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. While Aphasia often affects a person's language and communication skills.
American activist Hydeia Broadbent passed away from complications of HIV.
Winner.
A woman with a legacy.
An American activist who was diagnosed with HIV at age 3 has passed away at the age of 39. She kept fighting for young children and adults living with the disease known to cause AIDS.
Hydeia Broadbent gained media attention for being a part of America’s “first generation of children born HIV positive” in the late 1980s, died Tuesday. She was 39.
Her father, Loren Broadbent, announced her death on Facebook early Wednesday morning. He did not give a cause of death.
“With great sadness, I must inform you all that our beloved friend, mentor and daughter Hydeia, passed away today after living with Aids since birth,” he wrote. “Despite facing numerous challenges throughout her life, Hydeia remained determined to spread hope and positivity through education around HiV/AIDS.”
As an infant, Broadbent was abandoned at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas and later adopted by Loren and Patricia Broadbent. It was presumed that Broadbent was born with HIV, but she was not diagnosed until she was 3.
Broadbent initially tagged along with her mother, a social worker, as she began speaking publicly about HIV and trying to reduce the stigma surrounding the virus at the time, especially for the sake of children who had been diagnosed with it. By age 6, the elementary grade-schooler began to speak, too, eventually taking the helm.
Broadbent became a fixture in HIV/AIDS advocacy before medications became available that could make living with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, a more manageable chronic illness.
She appeared on a Nickelodeon special about HIV and AIDS with Magic Johnson in 1992, shortly after the basketball star’s own public diagnosis with HIV. When it was her turn to talk, Broadbent began to sob, pleading, “I just want people to know that we’re just normal people.”
Johnson consoled the young girl. “You don’t have to cry, because we are normal people. OK? We are.”
Years later, Johnson told CNN that was a turning point in his life.
“That very moment was both sad and inspirational,” he said in 2012. “It made me want to do more to bring awareness to the disease and educate people so that no one would have to feel the way she did that day.”
Hydeia Broadbent spoke at the 1996 Republican National Convention to address HIV awareness to a party of culture warriors.
In 1996, Broadbent, then 12, addressed the Republican National Convention with a poem declaring: “I am the future, and I have AIDS. I can do anything I put my mind to. I am the next doctor. I am the next lawyer. I am the next Maya Angelou. I might even be the first woman president. … You can’t crush my dream. I am the future, and I have AIDS.”
She and her mother co-wrote a book in 2002, “You Get Past the Tears: A Memoir of Love and Survival,” about their experience as a family.
Broadbent continued to work in advocacy and awareness of HIV, particularly with ensuring that Black communities were engaged with understanding HIV, reducing stigma, practicing safe sex or abstinence, and getting tested regularly. In addition to appearing on TV shows and specials over the years, Broadbent was honored by Essence magazine, The Grio, Ebony, the American Red Cross and others. Broadbent had been working with the Magic Johnson Foundation for the last decade, according to BET News.
In 2018, on her 34th birthday, Broadbent wrote a blog post on her website celebrating the milestone, as someone in “the first generation of children born HIV positive,” and whose adoptive parents were told she would not live past 5.
“These last few years have been extremely difficult; struggles with depression, which reached scary points,” she wrote. “A depression so dark, I was not sure how I would see the beauty in life again. I was unsure of how I’d pull myself back up. I now have a new outlook, I’m able to now see the blessing’s, and lesson’s from my valley. I am a warrior, I raise each day, with purpose, while still being a work in progress.”

The Russian Federation and Israeli government want Donald J. Trump in the White House. They are working hard on social media to convince American voters that President Joe Biden and Democrats are destroying their way of life.
Everyday, more and more propaganda on X, YouTube, Facenook, Instagram, Threads, Rumble and TikTok.
Elon Musk is openly advocating for propaganda to sway the 2024 election.
Wow the University of Wisconsin Madison sure does have the best! What in the world is “Queer Studies” 😂. I hope Chaya sues her and that school! https://t.co/5z5nLEn3As
Kelly and Matthew Stafford never miss! Remember when Trump wins, Taylor Swift said she was moving overseas!! Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are both losers. #NFLpic.twitter.com/Y13pXmSVbI
This is why I left the Democratic Party! ALL THEY DO IS LIE! You can clearly hear FJB!!!!!!! Democrats are the worst creatures ever invented. Where is community notes? Or do they just target Trump accounts! I love Elon, but man he needs a new CEO https://t.co/wwdK9JF6Vz
2) So I decided to check. Was 2/8/24 really the day she decided not to vote for Biden? No. Here’s a tweet from 12/18/23 saying Trump is America’s savior. Along with a lot of pro-Trump, anti-Democrat tweets between these two tweets. So who is this person?⬇️ pic.twitter.com/hjwmu4tVHG
4) Huh. A Russian. Ok, but let’s suspend judgment for a moment and look into his account. Maybe he’s not pro-Putin. Let’s see for ourselves.⬇️ pic.twitter.com/CgxFQcALBl
6) Ah, so he is pro-Putin. This is his tweet from today. Meaning the “Jasmine” account gets this tweet, since she is following him. This tweet, the day after tweeting obvious disinformation about “Joe Biden lost my vote today”. Which we proved wasn’t the case. Interesting. pic.twitter.com/A9rA79pZDm

AIPAC lines up a candidate to challenge Cori Bush.
Foreign operatives try to oust progressive lawmaker because of her support for Palestine.
She may be insufferable, but she at least standing on the right side of history.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is the most powerful lobbyist group in the United States. It is also the most controversial. It is literally forcing the U.S. to turn a blind eye to the atrocities caused by Israel. The Democratic Party is still simping for this organization. It is almost like the Republicans when it comes to the National Rifle Association.
Democrats claim to be in support of human rights, democracy and the party of being anti-racist. Yet they are pretty damn Islamophobic and xenophobic. Their support for Israel will cost them a generation of votes.
Arab Americans, Muslims and young voters are strongly against President Joe Biden and Democrats support and stance for Israel. They are outspent by a 2 to 1 when it comes to electing progressives or candidates who represent their interest.
While I strongly detest the performance art of Nina Turner, she called out Democrats for backing the genocidal Israeli government. Because of her bowl of shit remarks, I could not back Turner for Congress. She would be the left's version of Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). I supported her challenger Shontel Brown who eventually won the Ohio 11th Congressional District. Now as the Democratic Representative from Ohio, Brown is lockstep with Biden in voting. Even when it comes to Israel, she is strongly favoring that foreign entity over Cleveland interests.
Brown has shown some backbone though. She has toned down the rhetoric and did not vote for censure of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and did not back the Republican backed Israel funding bill.
However, she is equating anti-Zionism to anti-semitism.
Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) is performance art. She is a lazy lawmaker. Yet, she has more backbone than her opponent Wesley Bell. The cohort of Black and brown lawmakers is facing what they see as an “existential threat” to their political careers. It’s a struggle that raises significant questions about who can be a Democrat in Congress, what positions are permissible about Israel and the Palestinians, and what role outside groups should have in determining both.
Bell was considering a challenge against Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), a white nationalist and supporter of the insurrection. Hawley is backed by AIPAC despite his rhetoric. Bell is backed by AIPAC as well and he is using his donation money and rhetoric to paint Bush as an ineffective lawmaker.
You also notice the timing. Bush is under federal watch for allegedly using her campaign funds to pay for private security owned by her bodyguard now husband.
Think about how Greene. The Republican lawmaker is lazy. She barely spends any time in her district. She is a white nationalist, said some pretty antisemitic shit, supported the insurrection, voted to support Israel and has called for ethno-nationalism.
Where's AIPAC?
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the Democratic leader and Majority Leader of the Senate is the most pro-Israeli lawmaker in Washington. His New York constituents are waning on his blanket support. Schumer, Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), the Minority Leader faced the most protesters in regards to their support of Israel.
Wesley Bell is a shill for the Pro Israeli lobby. He will play dirty bull to defeat Cori Bush.
Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have tried to exclude protesters from their events. It is costing them big time especially if they're willing to sit it out or vote third party. Donald J. Trump could return and cause more chaos.
Bell was paid by AIPAC to drop out of the Senate race. He was paid to run for the U.S. House to take on Bush.
Now he wants to make this a race about her effectiveness as a House member and the Department of Justice investigation. That DOJ investigation mysteriously dropped on Bush weeks after Tlaib was censured and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) had papers criticizing 9/11 and the reasons to why it happened.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), chair of the Progressive Caucus who is also a target of AIPAC this year, said she has been talking with Democrats who still receive money from the group about the damage it could do to the party and their efforts to regain the House.
“This is hurting the Democratic Party to challenge our incumbents,” Japayal said. “Our goal as a unified Democratic Party is to make sure that Joe Biden stays in the White House, and that we take back the House and make Hakeem Jeffries our speaker and that we expand our ranks in the Senate.”
The pro Palestinian protesters are wasting their time going at Hillary Clinton. She is a retired politician. She can't influence government action.
I wish we could have elected Hillary Clinton as the 45th President of the United States.
She would have made some mistakes but at least she shows competency when handling them. She doesn't fly off the deep end and embarrasses herself with banter and social media trolling.
We ended up picking the former reality TV star and embattled business owner.
In his four years, he led this country down a path to extremism, conspiracy theories and a world on the brink of a global war. His successor promised to change the status quo.
However, the status quo is powerful and he ended up falling victim to it too. Now people are questioning his decisions based on his age, his old school stances and the fact that his predecessor is adamant on revenge. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is no longer in office. But the far right and some leftists have her living rent free in their heads. While, I am strongly against President Joe Biden and Donald J. Trump's stance on Israel, I am not wasting my time harassing Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. They are retired and no longer influencing government policy.
It is Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of State Antony Blinkin, UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin who Americans should redirect their outrage towards. It is Nikki Haley and Donald J. Trump where you should direct your outrage towards. The Republicans are running for president. They must answer to the public their stance on Israel.
Take your frustrations to the U.S. Representatives and U.S. Senators who are literally doing nothing as we speak. They still want to pass an aid package to Ukraine and Israel.
Protesters should go at elected leaders and public places that support Israel.
Pro Palestinian protesters continue to interrupt Clinton while she is doing public speaking events. You are wasting your time going to Clinton, Obama, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. They have retired and it only distracts us from taking on elected leaders like Biden, Mike Johnson, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell and Hakeem Jeffries.
I am frustrated with Biden allowing our taxpayer dollars fund Israel and its lopsided military offense. The propaganda Israel is driving is causing a rift within Western nations. They have equated criticism to antisemitism. That is a tactic to stifle Palestinians and supporters of ending Israeli apartheid.
South Africa, Brazil, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bolivia, Chile, Qatar, Yemen and China are pushing for international sanctions and criminal charges against Israel. The U.S., Great Britain, the European Union, Canada, Japan and Australia are waning. They are getting tired of the Israeli government taking money and not adhering to the rules of international law.
Biden and his administration is going to the United Nations to push for a temporary ceasefire despite his push to assist Israel in weapons.
Nevermind, the U.S. just vetoed the U.N. resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The U.S. claims it wants to push for its version of a ceasefire. Once again making it about Israel and not the world's demand that Israel be held accountable.
It's not a cult. They are freedom loving patriots. Or at least that's what they want you to believe.
I find it ironic that the folks who are protesting Israel are called "anti-semitic" while those who are protesting an American city and an American state as "patriots."
Make it make sense!
Company trucks will deliver goods to areas within the United States. This boycott from "Truckers for Trump" will backfire. The companies that demand their service and these idiots are trying to protest a verdict against the former president is ridiculous.
However, it's a free country.
Private trucking or companies friendly to former President Donald J. Trump and Republicans are planning another showboat.
This trucker named "Chicago Ray" is telling private truckers to abstain from delivering goods to New York City. He is upset the state attorney general Letitia James successfully sued the former president for fraud. The former president was ordered to pay over $355 million in punitive damages.
I took that video down from Friday bc it went viral and my Grandson seen it on Tik Tok
No one's got to me ... I heard what drivers were saying and I'm hearing some of that today
Letitia James prosecuted Trump for crimes she's already guilty of... New Yorkers have no one to blame but themselves for Truckers refusing loads to New York City... no one
88,000 trucking companies filed for bankruptcy protection in 2023…#Truckers4Trump. Most will lose their jobs and will be forced into bankruptcy…Big trucking companies will fire you in a heartbeat…MAGAt truckers…you’re beyond redemption…tRump wants your hard earned dollars 💵 pic.twitter.com/tejrcdPVDx
“I’ve been on the radio talking to drivers for the last hour, hour-15 minutes. I’ve talked to at least 10 drivers. They’re going to start refusing loads in New York City starting Monday,” said Chicago Ray, who has 241,000 followers on X.
On Monday morning, Chicago Ray posted another video on X reiterating his support for Trump and boycotting loads to New York.
“I’m not going to encourage you, but if New York City is going to have a judge’s ruling like they’re ruling … I’m just saying I stand with Trump. I’m one of the millions of truckers that stand with Trump,” Chicago Ray said.
The call to boycott loads to New York City comes after Judge Arthur Engoron’s verdict on Friday that ordered Trump to pay $355 million in damages in the fraud case brought by the New York’s attorney general office. The judge also ruled that Trump is barred from doing business in New York for three years, and his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are barred for two years.
Trump posted support for the boycott on several social media platforms, including X and Truth Social.
It’s unclear how widespread the boycott will be or what impact it might have on deliveries to the city.
Chicago Ray’s videos seemed to gain some traction. His original video had over 7 million views but was deleted over the weekend. As of Monday morning, “Boycott NYC” and “Truckers for Trump” were trending on X.
So embarrassing.
Chicago Ray isn’t the only truck driver who has voiced opposition to the civil fraud ruling.
“I vow that I will not make one delivery to New York. NONE! Who’s with me? Truckers for Trump!” an account called The Disrespected Trucker tweeted on Friday.
Zayy The Truck Driver also posted on X that he would not be making deliveries to New York City.
“I’ve been to NYC plenty of times, running shuttle routes from Atlanta to several breweries in NYC and Brooklyn. I stopped for two reasons; hellish driving and Covid restrictions, and now I have more reasons to never return there,” Zayy wrote. “I say this with absolute conviction, when the government continues to impose regulations on truckers, I don’t want to hear from you truckers who believe this boycott will do nothing.”
It would be a damn shame that some companies aren't going to tolerate that behavior. So thus, are these cult followers willing to sacrifice their own revenues for a man who doesn't even give two fucks about them?
Of course, the Republicans are accusing President Joe Biden of "weaponizing federal law enforcement."
Down in the polls but historically more popular than his predecessors.
President's Day.
President Joe Biden is ranked 14th in the listing of popularity. That means out of 44 men, Biden is in the top 20 of greatest presidents.
Former president Donald J. Trump has became the 45th in popularity. That means he ranks dead last in popularity of presidents.
So is Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Forgiato Blow, Meek Mill and Sean "Softball" Hannity going to blame the presidential historians for being biased?
Despite his age, his stance on Israel, his policies and his embracing of status quo politics, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. is better at leading the country than Donald John Trump, Sr.
Biden is trailing in some polls against Trump. However, historians give him high marks on how to handle crisis as president.
A new poll of historians coming out on Presidents Day weekend ranks Biden as the 14th-best president in American history, just ahead of Woodrow Wilson, Ronald Reagan and Ulysses S. Grant. While that may not get Biden a spot on Mount Rushmore, it certainly puts him well ahead of Trump, who places dead last as the worst president in the nation’s history. Indeed, Biden may owe his place in the top third in part to Trump. Although he has claims to a historical legacy by managing the end of the COVID pandemic; rebuilding the nation’s roads, bridges and other infrastructure; and leading an international coalition against Russian aggression, Biden’s signature accomplishment, according to the historians, was evicting Trump from the Oval Office.
“Biden’s most important achievements may be that he rescued the presidency from Trump, resumed a more traditional style of presidential leadership and is gearing up to keep the office out of his predecessor’s hands this fall,” wrote Justin Vaughn and Brandon Rottinghaus, the college professors who conducted the survey and announced the results in the Los Angeles Times.
His supporters remain loyal but the rest of the public believes he is a failure.
Trump might not care much what a bunch of academics think, but for what it’s worth he fares badly even among the self-identified Republican historians. Finishing 45th overall, Trump trails even the mid-19th-century failures who blundered the country into a civil war or botched its aftermath like James Buchanan, Franklin Pierce and Andrew Johnson.
The survey, conducted by Vaughn, an associate professor of political science at Coastal Carolina University, and Rottinghaus, a professor of political science at the University of Houston, was based on 154 responses from scholars across the country.

Damn, former president Donald J. Trump is desperate to make buck. I mean he owes over $500 million and it's not even over.
The Republican candidate for president claims that President Joe Biden is participating in election interference despite the evidence proving otherwise. His core supporters are stalling Congress by not doing their jobs. He is bleeding money fast.
The election will be another close one. Trump said that if he loses, there may be a civil war upon us.
So yesterday, Trump made a surprise appearance in Philadelphia. This came a day after the New York state courts fined him $355 million and a three year ban of operating the Trump Organization. He was promoting the "Never Surrender" shoe.
Donald J. Trump had surrendered to the federal and state authorities when he was indicted on the election interference, failure to return federal property and hiding finances when paying off Stormy Daniels.
Can you believe people are buying this nonsense. I guess for $399 you can own a part of the Trump campaign. I mean if you do the math, if 1,000 shoes are sold it he would earn $3,999,000. That would be a part of the settlement to E. Jean Caroll.
Trump made a highly unusual stop Saturday, hawking new Trump-branded sneakers at “Sneaker Con,” a gathering that bills itself as the “The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth.”
Trump was met with loud boos as well as cheers at the Philadelphia Convention Center as he introduced what he called the first official Trump footwear.
The shoes, shiny gold high tops with an American flag detail on the back, are being sold as “Never Surrender High-Tops” for $399 on a new website that also sells other Trump-branded shoes and “Victory47” cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle. He’d be the 47th president if elected again.
The website says it has no connection to Trump’s campaign, though Trump campaign officials promoted the appearance in online posts.
The unannounced launch came a day after a judge in New York ordered Trump and his company to pay a whopping $355 million in penalties, finding that the former president lied about his wealth for years, scheming to dupe banks, insurers and others by inflating his wealth on financial statements.
That penalty came after Trump was ordered to pay an additional $83.3 million to the writer E. Jean Carroll for damaging her reputation after she accused him of sexual assault. With interest payments, Trump’s legal debts might now exceed a half-billion dollars — an amount it is unclear he can afford to pay.
Trump’s appearance was met with clashing boos from his detractors and chants of “USA!” from supporters who arrived at the sneaker event decked out in Trump gear. The dueling chants made it difficult, at times, to hear Trump speak.
Some had been given signs that read “SNEAKERHEADS LOVE TRUMP.”
“There’s a lot of emotion in this room,” Trump said of the reaction, after holding up and showing off a pair of gold shoes, then placing one on each side of his podium.
“This is something that I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years. And I think it’s going to be a big success,” he said.
As he spoke, the smell of weed occasionally wafted through the room.
Some of those who attended said they were unaware Trump would be there, and continued to shop as a crowd gathered around the stage. Many in the audience said they were not from the city and instead hailed from nearby states and Washington, D.C.
The attendees skewed younger and more diverse than Trump’s usual rally crowds. Trump’s campaign is hoping he will be able to win over more young and minority voters, particularly young Black men, in a likely rematch against President Joe Biden in November.
This isn’t the first money-making venture Trump has announced since launching his third campaign for the White House in 2022. Trump last year reported making between $100,000 and $1 million from a series of digital trading cards that portrayed him, through photo editing, in a series of cartoon-like images, including as an astronaut, a cowboy and a superhero. He has also released books featuring photos of his time in office and letters written to him through the years.
Before he ran for office, Trump hawked everything from steaks to vodka to a venture he called “Trump University.”
The new sneaker website says it is run by CIC Ventures LLC, a company that Trump reported owning in his 2023 financial disclosure. The website states the new venture “is not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign.”
Still, it describes the sneakers as a limited-edition, numbered “true collector’s item” that is “Bold, gold, and tough, just like President Trump.”
“The Never Surrender sneakers are your rally cry in shoe form,” the description reads. “Lace-up and step out ready to conquer.”
A Trump spokesman did not respond to questions about the event, including whether Trump was paid to attend.
Among those in the crowd were Jonathen Santiago, 21, and Danea Mitchell, 20, Trump supporters who drove from Monroe County in the northeastern part of the state for the sneaker event. They said they were excited to see the former president and praised how he interacted with the crowd. They also had kind words for the sneakers.
“The red bottoms were a really nice touch,” Mitchell said.
She shrugged when asked about Trump’s legal troubles. “I think it’ll be an interesting four years if he’s found guilty, but I have no doubt he’ll be president,” she said.
Also in attendance was a group of “cheer moms” from New Jersey who said they were in town for a cheerleading event and decided to stop by for a chance to see Trump.
Karla Burke, 48, said she heard some people booing and making noise, but that most people around her had been supporters. “At the front was a different vibe,” she said.
As for Friday’s penalty in Trump’s civil fraud trial, Burke said it doesn’t change her support. “I think it was unfair,” she said. “They’re just going after him so he’s not the Republican candidate.”
Biden-Harris 2024 Communications Director Michael Tyler slammed the appearance, saying: “Donald Trump showing up to hawk bootleg Off-Whites is the closest he’ll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life.”
Trump flew from Philadelphia to Michigan, where he held a rally in the suburbs of Detroit and railed against Friday’s judgment, which he has vowed to appeal. Both Pennsylvania and Michigan are expected to be critical battleground states.
