Trump Legal Team Nails Fani Willis With Adultery Allegations!

Republicans now target Georgia district attorney's personal life.

Her personal business has nothing to do with the indictment of former president Donald J. Trump and those who tried to overturn the results of the election in Fulton County, Georgia.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is hit with allegations she had an affair with a prosecutor on the staff. Nathan Wade, a special prosecutor is the person who touched off a wave of speculation. Now they want her removed from the case and Georgia Republicans are hoping to do it.

But let's look at Trump's rank hypocrisy.

He had married Ivana Trump and cheated on her with Marla Maples. They ended up having daughter Tiffany. Trump married Maples briefly. Divorced her. Met Melania Kuvnas and married her. Had an affair while she was pregnant with son Barron.

Trump had affairs on his three wives. He slept with Stormy Daniels, an adult entertainer and activist. He was found liable in the sexual assault of E. Jean Carroll. He is a client on Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs and he said he can "grab 'em by the...." because he's famous.

So what she does in her personal life doesn't have anything to do with overthrowing a free and fair election in Georgia's most populated county.

Willis has been subpoenaed to give a pretrial deposition in the divorce case of Nathan and Joycelyn Wade on January 23, but in a blistering court filing on Thursday the DA’s attorney said that subpoena should be quashed.

Joycelyn Wade “has conspired with interested parties in the criminal election interference case to use the civil discovery process to annoy, embarrass and oppress District Attorney Willis,” argued Cinque Axam on Willis’ behalf.

Questions about the DA and special prosecutor Nathan Wade burst into public view last week when Ashleigh Merchant, an attorney for Trump codefendant Mike Roman, contended in a court filing that the two were in a romantic relationship. Merchant also alleged, without providing proof, that Willis has benefited financially from the relationship, with the DA going on “lavish” vacations paid by Wade with money he made from Fulton County.

Willis so far has not addressed Roman’s underlying allegations, including if she inappropriately benefitted financially from him working on the Trump case.

But in an impassioned and defiant 35-minute speech on Sunday at Atlanta’s Big Bethel AME Church, Willis strongly defended Wade, his credentials and her own decision-making. She contended that detractors were “playing the race card” by criticizing the case’s only Black special prosecutor.

Open Government!

Republicans are planning a mutiny on House Speaker Mike Johnson.

For a bunch of people who spend their entire day bitching about issues that do not reflect on the needs of their constituents, they should be the last folks talking about spending money.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is a perfect example of folks who get a paycheck of $14,500 a month and he barely does anything memorable legislatively. He rarely holds town halls and he spends most of his time trying to win social media likes and media coverage on far right platforms.

“It’s Groundhog Day in the House chamber all the time, every day, yet again spending money we don’t have,” Roy said.

Could you imagine how many of these lawmakers are going around claiming that we don't have enough money, but we're paying you with our taxpayer money?

No government shutdown and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is gonna feel the wrath of the Freedumb Caucasians.

The House approved the measure by a vote of 314-108, with opposition coming mostly from the more conservative members of the Republican conference. Shortly before the vote, the House Freedom Caucus announced it “strongly opposes” the measure because it would facilitate more spending than they support.

Nevertheless, about half of Republicans joined with Democrats in passing the third stopgap funding measure in recent months. The action came a few hours after the Senate had voted overwhelmingly to pass the bill by a vote of 77-18.

President Joe Biden will sign the bill into law. It will advert a shutdown and give members of the House and Senate time to pass a long term funding until October when the 2024 fiscal year starts.

The temporary measure will run to March 1 for some federal agencies. Their funds were set to run out Friday. It extends the remainder of government operations to March 8.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the president would sign the resolution and urged Republicans to quit wasting time on partisan spending bills.

“House Republicans must finally do their job and work across the aisle to pass full-year funding bills that deliver for the American people and address urgent domestic and national security priorities by passing the President’s supplemental request,” Jean-Pierre said.

Chip's Ahoy. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is lazy and incompetent.

Speaker Johnson has been under pressure from his right flank to scrap a $1.66 trillion budget price tag he reached with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) earlier this month for the spending bills.

Roy said the continuing resolution passed Thursday will facilitate that agreement, and urged colleagues to vote against it.

Johnson has insisted he will stick with the deal, and centrists in the party have stood behind him. They say that changing course now would be going back on his word and would weaken the speaker in future negotiations.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), the ranking Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, said Americans expect Congress to govern and work in a bipartisan fashion.

“Some of my colleagues would see that this government would shut down and don’t care how hurtful that would be,” DeLauro said.

House Republicans have fought bitterly over budget levels and policy since taking the majority at the start of 2023. Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted by his caucus in October after striking an agreement with Democrats to extend current spending the first time. Johnson has also come under criticism as he has wrestled with how to appease his members and avoid a government shutdown in an election year.

“We just needed a little more time on the calendar to do it and now that’s where we are,” Johnson said Tuesday about the decision to extend federal funding yet again. “We’re not going to get everything we want.”

Most House Republicans have so far refrained from saying that Johnson’s job is in danger. But a revolt of even a handful of Republicans could endanger his position in the narrowly divided House.

Virginia Rep. Bob Good, one of eight Republicans who voted to oust McCarthy, has been pushing Johnson to reconsider the deal with Schumer.

“If your opponent in negotiation knows that you fear the consequence of not reaching an agreement more than they fear the consequence of not reaching an agreement, you will lose every time,” Good said this week.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) is tired of Congress stalling progress.

Other Republicans acknowledge Johnson is in a tough spot. “The speaker was dealt with the hand he was dealt,” said Kentucky Rep. Andy Barr, noting the constraints imposed by the party’s slim majority.

In Thursday afternoon’s vote, 107 House Republicans voted to keep federal agencies funded and 106 voted against the measure. To almost lose the majority of his conference underscores the challenges facing the new speaker and signals the difficulty he will have in striking a deal that will not alienate many of his GOP colleagues. They are clamoring for deeper non-defense spending cuts and myriad conservative policy mandates.

Meanwhile, 207 Democrats voted for the resolution and only two voted against.

The short-term measure comes amid negotiations on a separate spending package that would provide wartime dollars to Ukraine and Israel and strengthen security at the U.S.-Mexico border. Johnson is also under pressure from the right not to accept a deal that is any weaker than a House-passed border measure that has no Democratic support.

Johnson, Schumer and other congressional leaders and committee heads visited the White House on Wednesday to discuss that spending legislation. Johnson used the meeting to push for stronger border security measures while Biden and Democrats detailed Ukraine’s security needs as it continues to fight Russia.

Biden has requested a $110 billion package for the wartime spending and border security.

Dennis Kucinich To Run For Congress Again!

The same old song. Dennis Kucinich announced he will run as an independent instead of a libertarian for Ohio's 7th Congressional District.

Former Ohio lawmaker and two time presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich announce his intention to run for Congress against incumbent Rep. Max Miller (R-OH).

He will run as an independent. He is a left leaning libertarian who was once a Democrat.

Kucinich is expected to formally announce his candidacy on Jan. 24 in Independence.

Miller is a freshman lawmaker who won his seat in 2022 and is one of two Jewish Republicans serving in the House of Representatives. Miller is pro Israel and has introduced a censure to punish Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) after she criticized the Israeli government's indiscriminate bombing of the Gaza Strip.

Miller is a former advisor under Donald J. Trump.

Miller represents Cleveland and its exurbs and extending towards Ashland and Wooster.

The seat is gerrymandered. Ohio Republicans refuse to accept the voters' amendment to create an independent commission to establish fair redistricting.

Kucinich, 77, served in the U.S. House from 1997 to 2012, until he was defeated in a primary challenge from sitting Ninth Congressional District U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur.

Kaptur faces a tough reelection due to her district being redesigned Democratic leaning Toledo and Sandusky with the more conservative towns of Defiance and Bryan. It gave Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH) more an advantage in his district.

Reminder, Kucinich has endorsed Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for president. He is a conspiracy theorist, anti-vaxxer, Russian propagandist and supporter of Palestinians.

The only thing I agree with is support of Palestinians. Kucinich is a nuisance candidate who has zero chance of even winning.

Royals In The Hospital! Here Comes The Hate Meghan Stories!

Buckingham Palace withheld the conditions of King Charles III and Princess Catherine. So why are they blaming Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan?

The Daily Mail, a far right tabloid with close ties to the Royal family notoriously put out an article with the claims that the late Queen Elizabeth II disapproved Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan naming their daughter Lilibit. The queen was named Lilibit.

So it appears that the negative Meghan coverage was to hide Catherine, Princess of Wales being hospitalized and King Charles III having medical issues as well. So somehow, it is the fault of the Duke and Duchess, who live in the United States, abstained from royal duties, not even aware of how the Royal family deliberately kept silent on health issues.

And of course, British media agitators want a response from Harry and Meghan. Whether they responded or not, the agitators will dissect it and find some phony outrage towards it.

The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Daily Express, The Sun, The New York Post, Talk TV, Fox, Newsweek, SkyNews and GBN are banned from engaging with Harry and Meghan.

They literally have paparazzi stalking them. They've risked their own lives to get pictures of the Duke and Duchess. It has put their lives in danger.

Known to the junk food media as Primcess Kate, she has undergone planned abdominal surgery and will be hospitalized for up to two weeks, Kensington Palace said Wednesday.

The 42-year-old wife of Prince William, Britain’s future king, will take a prolonged break from her normally busy schedule of public appearances and private engagements.

“Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery," said the palace, which is the home and office of the royal couple. "The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery."

The Daily Mail is still facing a lawsuit from Harry over privacy invasion.

The statement did not elaborate on the reasons for the procedure. "Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter," it said.

Easter Sunday this year falls on March 31, which is more than two months away.

“The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private," the statement said.

The statement also added that she apologizes for postponing upcoming commitments.

The London Clinic is a private hospital in central London, near Kensington Palace.

A Kensington Palace source confirmed that the condition is noncancerous.

Five days before the royal announcement of Kate's health.

The source said the princess could be advised to recuperate for as long as three months and her return to full royal duties will depend on future medical advice.

William will also postpone a number of engagements, the source said, as he juggles being with his wife and looking after their three children.

"He will not undertake official duties while his wife is in hospital, and during the immediate period following her return home," the source said, adding that William will not go on any foreign trips in the coming months.

News of her surgery came less than an hour before Buckingham Palace said in a statement that her father-in-law, King Charles III, will undergo a “corrective procedure” in the hospital next week after seeking treatment for an enlarged prostate.

The statement said his condition was “benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure.” It added that the 75-year-old’s monarch “public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.”

Kate has become one of the most important and visible members of the royal family since her marriage to William in 2011, an occasion marked by a public holiday in the United Kingdom.

The spotlight on the former Kate Middleton has grown brighter since Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, left the country and their roles as senior royals. The publication of Harry's book, "Spare," last year fueled reports of a growing rift between William and Harry.

The number of senior royals was reduced by the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III. The ongoing controversy surrounding Prince Andrew's relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein saw him step back from royal duties in 2022.

The intense media scrutiny into Kate's life has previously focused on her health: during her pregnancies, she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, a debilitating condition also known as severe morning sickness, something that led to her using "hypnobirthing" techniques.

Prince George, second in line to the throne, was born in 2013; Princess Charlotte was born in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018.

Old Fart With Odd Spots!

Drudge is doing health crisis rumors. He did it to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Kerry, Joe Biden and now Donald J. Trump.

Since the far right wants to play armchair doctor with President Joe Biden, the left is coming back with vengeance.

Former president Donald J. Trump has a limp, smells like tanning oil and shit. Now there are allegations that his hand may signal some significant health problems.

The 78 year old former president is vowing revenge after his defeat in 2020.

MAGA is upset over journalists joking about assassinating him. Ain't like they've never done it before.

MAGA upset over the "Raging Cajan" James Carville making a viral claim that the old fart has syphilis, a notorious sexually transmitted disease that has become an epidemic in the United States.

The Drudge Report, a former propaganda for Trump has the headline above.

Trump departed his own Trump Tower on Wednesday morning en route to Manhattan federal court. The gesture revealed that Trump had red marks on his thumb, index finger and upper palm.

Trump appeared for the second day of the defamation trial brought by columnist E Jean Carroll, who accused him of raping her in a New York City department store dressing room in the 1990s.

Old fart had time to campaign. He has time for court. Had Trump told the judge in advance, he would not miss his mother in law's funeral.

He stared down Carroll as she took the stand on Wednesday morning, saying she was testifying with the desire to stop him ‘from telling lies about me’.

Carroll is seeking $10million in damages. It is her second defamation lawsuit against Trump. In May, another jury awarded her $5million after finding Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming her.

As Trump watched, his lawyer, Alina Habba, had a heated exchange with US District Judge Lewis Kaplan. Habba argued repeatedly that the trial should be postponed for the funeral of former first lady Melania’s mother, taking place on Thursday.

‘It’s denied,’ said Kaplan. ‘All right, sit down, Ms Habba.’

Habba, like Kimberly Guilfoyle, Laura Ingraham, Hope Hicks, Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kayleigh McEnany, Laura Loomer, Lara Trump, Lara Logan, former first lady Melania Trump, Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, Vanessa Trump, the late Ivana Trump, Ainsley Earhardt and Kellyanne Conway have horrific plastic surgery.

Washed Up 45 can't be president anymore. He failed the first time.... He will fail the second time and it will be the fault of those who sat out.

I realize the danger of another Trump term. But President Joe Biden better get his act together or else.

Habba is possibly Trump newest mistress. She is seen with him more than Melania.

Trump Wants To Pull CNN And MSNBC's Licenses After They Ignored His "Victory" Speech!

Vivek Ramaswamy endorses the old fart. Both claim the media wants to silence them. Yet, they got airtime.

They practically give him free air time and he is their cash cow.

Former president Donald J. Trump won the Iowa Caucus and earned himself an early lead for the Republican nomination. The junk food media called the race early for Trump.

Vivek Ramaswamy and Asa Hutchinson drop out. Trump earned Ramaswamy's endorsement.

At his victory party speech, Trump celebrated his win. He decided to rehash his bogus claims about the election being stolen and President Joe Biden committing election interference because of his legal woes.

MSNBC and CNN said that they are not going to cover it. They made a decision to not air the remaining portions due to the constant lies and hateful rhetoric.

They went on to cover Nimarata Randhawa Haley and Ron DeSantis. They covered the withdrawal of Vivek Ramaswamy.

Mind you, they allowed his victory speech to be seen online and you could watch on Fox, Newsmax, One American Voice, OANN, Right Side Broadcasting, CSPAN, Rumble and YouTube.

You have a choice.

Trump's victory speech included many of the baseless claims that he is a victim of some sort of “deep state” conspiracy that rigged the 2020 election and has kept him in court despite scads of evidence in support of criminal indictments he’s facing.

As a result, both CNN and MSNBC eventually opted out of the live speech after airing it to start. CNN took the Trump speech live for over 10 minutes. Even Fox News dumped the live speech after airing it for a few minutes longer.

Trump and many on the far right are outraged over it. Of course, Sean "Softball" Hannity spent a portion of his bullshit carnival calling Rachel Maddow, a "make believe journalist."

Maddow who hosts only on Monday nights and of course during special events said the following: “There is a reason that we and other news organizations have generally stopped giving an unfiltered, live platform to remarks by former President Trump. It is not out of spite. It is not a decision that we relish. It is a decision that we regularly revisit. Um, and honestly, honestly, it is not an easy decision. But there is a cost to us as a news organization of knowingly broadcasting untrue things.”

C'mon Nimarata!

Should we start calling you Nimarata?

Nimarata Randhawa Haley, will you start using your actual name when you are seeking the highest office in the land?

The Iowa Caucus has passed and Donald J. Trump won and Haley came in third.

On Fox, Haley once again declared there is no racism in the United States.

Okay, why are you calling yourself Nikki?

Why can't you accept the fact that racism exists?

She is afraid of people confusing her for being a foreigner. She is not. Her parents emigrated to the U.S. in the 1960s. Her father taught biology at Voorhees University, a historically Black college.

Haley’s remarks were in response to MSNBC host Joy Reid’s comments on whether Haley could win the GOP nomination as a woman of color. Haley suggested Reid “lives in a different America than I do,” pointing to her own rise from the daughter of immigrants to governor of South Carolina and ambassador to the United Nations.

The old fart handing out Casey's General Store Pizza. Notice his tan doesn't hide his elderly face.

“I mean, yes, I’m a brown girl that grew up in a small rural town in South Carolina who became the first female minority governor in history, who became an UN ambassador and who is now running for president. If that’s not the American dream, I don’t know what is,” she said, a day after she came in third in the Iowa Republican caucuses. “You can sit there and give me all the reasons why you think I can’t do this. I will continue to defy everybody on why we can do this. And we will get it done.”

When asked by Fox host Brian Kilmeade if the GOP is a racist party, Haley made a broader point that the US has “never been a racist country.”

“We’re not a racist country, Brian. We’ve never been a racist country,” she said. “Our goal is to make sure that today is better than yesterday. Are we perfect? No. But our goal is to always make sure we try and be more perfect every day that we can.”

Big Jook Passed Away! [NSFW]

Big Jook shot and killed. Targeted attack towards Yo Gotti.

Gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.

Be warned, there will be graphic images and video.

Memphis, Tennessee is located on the western bank of the Mississippi River. It has a population of 620,000 residents. The metropolitan area covers three states. It is a large transportation hub in the Mid South. It is one of the 30 major cities in the South with a Black majority population.

Memphis was the site of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination.

The site of Young Dolph's assassination.

And now the place where hip hop artists are in fear of losing their lives to senseless gun violence. The city is "at war" due to the death of Dolph.

Yo Gotti and his Collective Music Group members are targeted due to the latter's previous feud with Dolph and allegations of him being involved in the rapper's death.

Gotti has lost his brother Big Jook.

Anthony "Big Jook" Mims, was killed in a shooting outside a Memphis restaurant Saturday afternoon.

Memphis Police (MPD) said that one man was killed and another man was injured outside of Perignons Restaurant and Event Center on the 6300 block of Winchester Road.

On Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, police identified the victim as Mims, 47.

A second individual was taken to the same hospital in a private car, before being airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis in critical condition.

Memphis Deputy Police Chief Paul Wright said both victims were at the restaurant for a repast service.

According to TMZ, Mims, the older brother of the “I Am” rapper, had attended a funeral service for a relative in the area earlier in the day.

We do feel that the individual that was shot was possibly targeted by the suspect,” Wright said during a press conference.

Police couldn’t make a connection to the rapper while the investigation is still in the preliminary stages.

Big Jook’s Instagram page advertises his brother’s record label, CMG the Label, also known as the Collective Media Group, and has appeared in several music videos released by the label, but mostly dealt with the business side.

Graphic image of Big Jook being gunned down.

These murderers don't have mental illness. They are calculated and prepared. It happened to be a moment where they have the opportunity to take out lives. There's no sickness in the head. Most mass shooters legally obtain their assault rifles without little background checks. They have likely no criminal history and they are willing to use the assault weapon in the only thing it's good for: Killing numerous lives.

I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases.

Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.

According to the far rightWhite shooters are mentally ill. Black shooters are unrepentant criminals. Gay shooters are active groomers. Muslim shooters are terrorists. Hispanic and Asian shooters are illegal immigrants. Almost all mass shooters are registered Democrats because they have liked one thing common to the left. Of course, they often share disinformation by using the "Sam Hyde" meme as a way to denounce most mass shooters being white. They say a white person should "protect" from protesters and use of firearms are justified. They say if a shooter is active military or a veteran who supports conservative causes, they are considered a "heroes" and use of firearms are justified. If the shooters are teens, the far right automatically assume the gunmen are Black.

The Republicans usually amplify white victims. Anytime a person of color kills a white victim, it is often wall-to-wall coverage on Fox, Twitter and they force it into national news. They make the case to blame Black Lives Matter, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Democrats, Rev. Al Sharpton and rap music for Black on whatever violence. Republican lawmakers who do not live in urban neighborhoods often troll social media to talk about gun violence or crime in Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee and New York City while not doing a damn thing to stop it. If a white person shoots a Black person, the shooter is given the benefit of doubt. White shooters are given glowing profiles about their perfect lives and how friends noticed something but refused to do something. When it comes to Black shooters, automatic vilification. They don't see mental illness. They see it as gang violence, allegedly fatherless homes, Democratic policies or the need for more firearms. The far right and Republicans exploit gun violence in the Black community for culture wars and racism.

So in closing, expect more.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence

The Old Fart Won Iowa!

The old fart carries Iowa.

We are seeing the possibility of another Donald J. Trump presidency in waiting.

I hope that America hasn't forgotten his failures in his first term. Cause literally, we cannot allow this incompetent man retake the White House.

Former president Donald J. Trump won the Iowa Caucus. He earned an early lead in delegates. He ended up winning 51% of the caucus.

Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley finished in a distant second and third respectively.

Vivek Ramaswamy ended in a distant fourth place. He ended up suspending his campaign.

The Democrats should be concerned. Trump's victory shows that despite Republicans being very concerned about his legal woes, age and track record, the party is still fully supportive of the embattled former president. Biden's polling shows that Democrats are going to need a miracle and hope that the coalition isn't fractured beyond repair.

They still believe that Biden isn't a legitimate president.

The former president was flanked on stage by members of his family and senior campaign staff, as well as members of Congress and other supporters who traveled to Iowa to campaign by his side.

He began his remarks with a conciliatory tone, saying it’s time for the country to come together.

Trump offered a shout-out to DeSantis and Haley, whom he has skewered on the trail.

“I want to congratulate Ron and Nikki for having a good time together,” he quipped.

About 7 in 10 Iowans who caucused for Trump on Monday night said they have known all along that they would support a man who has remade the Republican Party through his “Make America Great Again” political movement. Trump was carried to victory by the majority of caucusgoers who say they back it, a sign of his growing influence in a state that denied him a victory eight years ago.

Despite Trump’s commanding win in Iowa, the contest exposed some national vulnerabilities for the former president.

The suburbs are a relative weakness for Trump: Only about 4 in 10 of Iowa Republicans in the suburbs support him. Trump still bests his closest rivals in the suburbs, but not as strongly as he does in other areas, according to AP VoteCast, a survey conducted by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research of more than 1,500 voters who said they planned to take part in Monday’s Republican caucuses in Iowa.

Nor does Trump have as much appeal with college graduates. Just 2 in 10 of Trump’s Iowa backers hold a college degree, compared to roughly half of those who backed Haley and DeSantis.

And there are Trump’s legal troubles. About one-quarter of GOP caucusgoers say Trump has done something illegal when it comes to at least one of the legal cases he is facing: his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, his alleged attempts to interfere in the vote count in the 2020 presidential election or the discovery of classified documents at his Florida home that were supposed to be in government custody.

A Holiday But No Monumental Change!

America still haven't got it yet.

Today is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. He was born on Jan. 15, 1929 in Atlanta and was assassinated on April 4, 1968 at the age of 39 in Memphis. If he was alive today he would be 95 years old.

Many communities have roads, bridges, buildings and monuments named after him.

Rep. Nikema Williams (D-GA), Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA), Rep. David Scott (D-GA), Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-GA), Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and Sen. Jon Osoff (D-GA) will honor him.

Some Republicans will honor him but twist his legacy into some political agenda.

The far right loves to quote King's quotes to justify white supremacy.

If King was alive, the far-right, Fox, Breitbart and Republicans would hate him with a passion.

So I boggles the mind to hear lawmakers who oppose voter rights and civil rights, support war and bigotry, stomp on the grave of King.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) will be dishonor his legacy. They talk like they view King's legacy as historic while opposing almost everything he stood for.

Hypothetically, King would be considered a troublemaker.

Like the late lawmaker John Lewis said, "it better being in 'good trouble.'"

If King was alive today, Fox, Republicans and even some Democrats would vilify him as a troublemaker, race hustler and detriment on Black America.

They've done it to the retired civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Black Lives Matter, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement and Black Voters Matter movement.

If King was alive, the junk food media would call him anti-semitic opposing the Israeli apartheid and supporting the rights of Palestinians. The junk food media would use his words when he is speaking against American involvement in funding Israel and Ukraine.

King would have spoken out against the treatment  of migrants trying to seek refuge in the United States. He would call out lawmakers like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and even Black lawmaker Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) for embracing white nationalism. He would address President Joe Biden about issues in the Black community and it would be fodder on Fox to criticize. Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) would allow King to speak about how America should feed the poor, protect the working man, honor indigenous rights and end greedy capitalism.

On the third Monday of January, the U.S. government acknowledged it as a national holiday. It is the only national holiday that celebrates the life of a non government official.

Now honestly, I believe it is a travesty to King by giving him a holiday. I believe the key to honoring his legacy is to eliminate the hate the U.S. continues to fester in.

King should never be forgotten. His legacy as a civil rights leader was controversial.

Republicans opposed the holiday in the 1980s. It was John Conyers who made the holiday a national law. He pushed for it and then president Ronald Reagan vehemently opposed it on the grounds that he viewed King as a Communist. White nationalists like Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond and Trent Lott.

He was vilified by conservatives. Black figures like Malcolm X called him a sell-out or a traitor to his race. Others claimed he was a snake oil salesman, an adulterer and a fraud.

From 1953 until his untimely death in 1968, King led the fight for Blacks in the South. He called for an end to Jim Crow segregation laws, establish voting rights for Blacks, and call for an end to poverty.

So many things happened during his time on earth but most didn't know he was a marked man because he stood up against the system.

Did you know he nearly committed suicide after his grandmother passed away?

Did you know that King did not trust white people at one time hated them for the way they treated his father, brother and mother?

Did you know he survive two assassination attempts before the Memphis encounter?

Did you know Martin Luther King was an independent not a Republican?

Democrats were not all on board with civil rights. Republicans at one time were the champions of civil rights. With the fears of communism and the conservative rise of charlatans like Joseph McCarthy, Strom Thrumond and Barry Goldwater, King was the other enemy to the far right.

King did lead the Montgomery bus boycott, the Albany, Georgia movement and protest in Birmingham. Richard Nixon blew an opportunity to win Black voters. Then vice president brushed off the calls to take on Southern governors attempts to stop desegregation. Sen. John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts called upon the release of King and asked for his brother Robert and civil rights leaders to aid him. That earned King's endorsement. Kennedy would become the 35th President of the United States.

Kennedy was cautious about King. He knew the allegations of associating with alleged communists would be damaging to him. Kennedy kept the fight for civil rights but died because of it. He was assassinated in 1963 and Lyndon B. Johnson took control. During that time, King worked with Johnson to get the Kennedy agenda to fruition. It took a speech at the Lincoln Memorial to drive the world to King.

King helped organize the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

It was an ugly fight in the 1960s in the South. There was the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, the killing of civil rights workers in Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas, the arrest of King and his allies.

The Klan was at its strongest during the 1960s. The federal government was pressured to do something.

The SCLC put into practice the tactics of nonviolent protest with some success by strategically choosing the methods and places in which protests were carried out. There were several dramatic stand-offs with segregationist authorities, who sometimes turned violent.

J. Edgar Hoover considered King a radical and made him an object of the FBI's COINTELPRO from 1963, forward. FBI agents investigated him for possible communist ties, recorded his extramarital affairs and reported on them to government officials, and, in 1964, mailed King a threatening anonymous letter, which he interpreted as an attempt to make him commit suicide.

King was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work. He was there for the signings of the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act under President Lyndon B Johnson.

The two would lose favor after Johnson vowed to take on the Viet Cong in Vietnam. King distanced himself from the 1968 Democratic presidential primaries. He didn't endorse candidates. Johnson sought to no longer be president and it led to a lot of tension.

During the striking garbage workers in Memphis, an assassin shot King in April. The Lorraine Motel in Memphis is now a memorial to his passing.

Since 1983, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday is celebrated in the United States. It was the first holiday to an African American and a non politician. On the third Monday of the month of January, we honor King's legacy and offer a day of service.

I seriously believe that if King was alive, he would be disappointed in the way things are going.

Republicans and some Democrats twist his legacy into a partisan agenda. Republicans are on board with white nationalism and dog whistle politics. Democrats are on the side of white gentificiation and side piece meal politics.

Both sides are not working in the interest of King.

But we can change that. I believe we should continue to fight for the right to vote. It may not affect me now, but it will in the future. Trust me, we have a long way to go before we can achieve King's dream.

But it will be done.

Trump Confussed!

Why do people like watching reruns?

Trump is a like two season rerun. The same stump speeches and the lack of substance.

His die hard supporters will enjoy this. He barely talks about what his policies done for America during his one term. Why should we reward Trump another presidency when he refuses to explain how his policies benefited America?

As with President Joe Biden, former president Donald J. Trump will backing Israel's genocide. Trump is backed by Benjamin Netanyahu, a far right extremist who is the current Prime Minister of Israel. He and former moderate, Israeli President Isaac Herzog are openly admitting to committing war crimes and vow to continue them despite the potential of a global war.

Biden is getting tired of Israel not listening to him. The United States poured billions into aiding Israeli military and global awareness. Israel keeps spitting on Biden and ignoring his pleas to minimize casualties. It is taking a toll on Biden's job approval and is ruining his chances with young, Black, Arab and Muslim voters.

Trump on the other hand, looks disheveled, out of pep and just sad. He can pull in large crowds but not the massive crowds he had done during his 2016 campaign. He spent most of his time complaining about Biden, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, federal prosecutors and issues he complained about in 2016. He still talks about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. He still lies and relies on conspiracy theories to drive wedges between Americans.

Trump barely talks about the accomplishments he had in his one term. I guess talking about low gas prices in 2020 during a global pandemic is the only thing he can brag about. I mean he failed to control the coronavirus pandemic. That alone should be a reason to not vote for him.

Many of his stops are minimized to large gatherings in small place and not stadiums or arenas.

I don't see the Blacks for Trump guy hovering around Iowa [for now].

Trump remarks about the U.S.-Mexican border. The border wall is a monument to white supremacy. The dehumanizing of immigrants has become a 2024 issue again. Fox and Republicans are ramping up the migrant caravans again to spook Republicans.

Their solutions to solving problems is create man made obstructions. Texas has passed a state law to allow local authorities to arrest and deport migrants. They also have interfered in assisting federal authorities in saving migrants. Texas governor Greg Abbott continues to defy federal order to stop bussing migrants and placing razor wire in the Rio Grande River. Three people died in the river. Abbott on Dana Loesch bragged about murdering migrants.

Trump agrees with this rhetoric. After all, he said on Sean "Softball" Hannity's carnival of bullshit that he would enforce a massive deportation on day one. He said he would be a dictator [only for one day].

Trump also mentioned the Iron Dome. It is a missile defense system that the U.S. funds for the state of Israel. It defects rocket propelled missiles but often deflects missiles into Israeli cities.

Trump boasted that the United States could build a dome over itself. Now you know that is fucking crazy.

Realistically, Trump wants to keep on building separation walls and block entries. He wants to seize power from cities like Washington, DC, New York and Chicago. He wants to punish lawmakers who voted to impeach him twice. Trump wants to pardon the rioters involved in the  Jan. 6,  2021 riots and establish himself with absolute immunity.

Trump is confused and starting to show signs of senile behavior.

Mind you, I am not a doctor nor a psychologist. Trump displays some questionable behaviors and it shows the possibility of an authoritarian instead of a president.

Dean Phillips' Sad Campaign Sputters Along!

And who wants Biden to drop out?

The lawmaker who says that President Joe Biden isn't winning over Democrats can't even bring in an audience himself. He calls for Biden to drop out, yet he is polling at 2% and his closest rival is polling at 4%.

Democrats back the incumbent Joe Biden and it is pretty much a wrap for challengers Marianne Williamson and Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN).

The Minnesota lawmaker was left to sit by himself on the side of his campaign bus nursing a tray of Dunkin’ coffees after no one showed up for what was billed as a meet-the-candidate event at a Manchester hotel.

“Sometimes if you build it, they don’t come,” Phillips told CBS News.

Phillips campaign officials the non-turnout on chilly weather but the 22-degree temperature is around normal for winter in Manchester, where the average low for Jan. 9 is just 14 degrees.

Making things worse, Phillips apparently failed to lure any attendees from a regional higher education convention that was taking place inside the hotel at the same time.

He wound up shifting the event indoors where a campaign spokesman said he spoke with 14 people.

The Democratic National Committee and its chairman Jaime Harrison have promise sanctions if New Hampshire carries forth with its primary. The DNC have sponsored the first primary to be in South Carolina. Some Democrats fumed at the decision to bypass New Hampshire and Iowa.

Biden credited his turnaround to South Carolina. He ended up defeating Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) after Super Tuesday. Biden believes the Black vote is crucial to his victory.

Currently, Biden has low job approval from his stance on Israel, the economy, the partisan divide, his age, his stance on immigration and other issues.

Congress also has record low job approval. Republicans in the House are pathetic.

Hey, President Joe Biden.... If you want to win the Black vote, you need to listen. Black men are slowly moving towards Donald J. Trump. You are losing that vote because in their mind, you are doing more for other people and Black women. These hoteps see this as a strain on their personal wealth.

If you want to win the young voters, Arab Americans and Muslim voters, you need to stop simping for Israel. That country is openly and deeply committed to the genocide of Palestinians and you are aiding and abetting to this. Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are crucial to your victory. You could lose those three states and not reach 270.

Matter of fact, you could lose every swing state and not make it to 270 electoral votes.

It will be due to the fact, Americans like myself are tired of the status quo.

Phillips is no different than Biden and Trump. He is pro Israel, he pandering to white voters, he complains about issues he could have solved as a lawmaker and he has no legislative accomplishments. He is a privileged white millionaire who is desperately seeking attention.

Phillips who is no longer seeking reelection for the House has spent a majority of his time in New Hampshire.

While Joe Lieberman and his Zionist allies are plotting a third party bid with No Labels, Biden is gearing up for a difficult fight for a second term.

While it not a written forculsion, the junk food media has crown Donald J. Trump as the potential Republican presidential nominee. The Iowa Caucus will decide who will advance.

We may see a repeat of 2020. Trump who is an indicted former president is betting on his supporters to come out in droves because of revenge. Trump has raised fresh questions about his intentions if he regains power by putting forward a legal theory that a president would be free to do nearly anything with impunity — including assassinate political rivals — so long as Congress can’t muster the votes to impeach him and throw him out of office.

Trump will become a dictator if he wins. He admitted it on Sean "Softball" Hannity's circus of bullshit.

The choices are not good but if you have to choose, it's a matter of status quo vs. status quo.
