The founding member of the alternative hip-hop group Digital Underground passed away at the age of 57.

Shock G who also used the alter ego Humpty Hump made you do the Humpty Dance is now with the legends. He was the major producer for Tupac Shakur's first three albums.

The news comes fresh after the passings of DMX and Black Rob.

As of right now, no cause of death has been revealed. Shock G will always be remembered for his influential hit single “The Humpty Dance” which spawned his alter ego Humpty Hump. 

He was also instrumental in helping Tupac Shakur with his rap career. He produced Pac’s hit singles “I Get Around” and “So Many Tears.” 

The one with that pickle nose.

Shock G also worked with other artists including, Dr. Dre, Monie Love, KRS-One, and more.

Born Greg Jacobs, he was the founding member of Digital Ground. Formed in Oakland, California, Shock G formed Digital Underground along with Chopmaster J, and the late Kenneth Waters (a.k.a. Kenny-K). 

After around 15 months of unsuccessful negotiations with various small record companies, in 1988 the trio finally released a 12-inch single on Macola Records. It featured "Your Life's a Cartoon" as the A-side and "Underwater Rimes" as the B-side. Both songs were penned, produced, and performed by Jacobs, who also sketched the cartoonish cover illustrations. The record included the logo for Digital Underground's startup label, TNT, as well as Macola's logo. TNT was also founded by Tupac Shakur's management CEO Atron Gregory. 

In 1989, the group signed with Tommy Boy Records and released "Doowutchyalike", receiving minimal radio airplay but became an underground hit. Its video was more successful, reaching number 40 on the MTV's top 100 videos of the year. "Doowutchyalike" paved the way for Digital Underground's debut album Sex Packets and the highest charting song of their career "The Humpty Dance" both released in early 1990, and both achieving platinum sales certifications by the RIAA.

The latter was rapped by "Humpty Hump," the most flamboyant of Shock G's several alter egos. By that time, Digital Underground had expanded significantly, with DJ Fuze, Money-B, and Schmoovy-Schmoov joining the group, and with Ramone "Pee Wee" Gooden and Tupac Shakur joining by 1991.

It appears Shock G was found dead in a hotel room in Tampa, Florida. No information about his death was determined.

With the exception of far-right white nationalist Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), the Senate passed a civil rights bill that makes attacks on Asian Americans in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The legislation, introduced by Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) in March, would direct the Department of Justice to expedite the review of hate crimes related to COVID-19 that were reported to law enforcement agencies and help them establish ways to report such incidents online and perform public outreach.

The bill would also direct the attorney general and the Department of Health and Human Services to issue best-practices guidance on how to mitigate racially discriminatory language in describing the pandemic.

“Racism has always existed in America unfortunately and the legacy of anti-Asian sentiment goes back centuries to dark chapters in our history, like the Chinese-exclusion act and the internment of Japanese citizens during World War II,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said on the Senate floor Thursday ahead of the vote.

Washed Up 45 had called the coronavirus the "China Virus" and it has sparked a rise in hate against the Asian American Pacific Islander community.

“Now, we've made great strides since those days, but over the past several years the forces of hate and bigotry seem to have gained strength, too often encouraged by our former president,” he continued. “By passing this bill, the senate makes it very clear that hate and discrimination against any group has no place in America. Bigotry against one is bigotry against all.”

The vote comes after Schumer urged Republicans not to block debate on the overall legislation.

The House Judiciary Committee, meanwhile, marked up a similar version of the bill introduced by Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) on Wednesday. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), said that it would receive a floor vote. The House and Senate will ultimately have to reconcile both bills so that they pass the same version that can then be signed by President Joe Biden.

A notorious enabler of white supremacy will no longer have a Twitter account.

Kevin Jackson, a Black far-right agitator who endorses white supremacy is permanently banned on Twitter. He joins a list of far-right agitators who crossed the line when it came to posting on social media.

Jackson, a staunch supporter of Washed Up 45 had gain notoriety for calling Christine Blassy Ford, a lying skank. He was then a contributor for Fox News. After those comments, he was fired out the cannon with the network.

Since his firing, he's appeared on Newsmax and OANN.

Milk Dud got banned on Twitter.

Jackson is the polar opposite of DeRay McKesson, the Black Lives Matter activist who gain fame in 2014 protesting in the Michael Brown police shooting.

Jackson would appear around the time DeRay made his comments about the McKinney, Texas cop pulling his firearm on a group of Black teens after he slammed a Black girl on the ground at community pool.

Jackson had been a vocal opponent of civil right leaders Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. 

I think I may have had a part in his permanent ban on Twitter. A few weeks ago, Jackson posted something offensive about Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Daunte Wright's parents. 

It took a week to hear the confirmation that he was permanently banned for his actions.

Jackson, James O'Keefe, Mike Lindell and Washed Up 45 are permanently banned on Twitter. 

Since the insurrection, Washed Up 45 has found trouble trying to establish his own social media platform. Since being banned on Twitter, he now resorts to putting out newsletters. Washed Up 45 had over 85 million followers at the time. 

He incited a mob to attack the U.S. Capitol. He was impeached a second time by the House of Representatives. The Senate did not convict him. The Democrats and seven Senate Republicans voted to convict him.

With Kevin Jackson off social media, it's will be a matter of time and patience for Twitter to ban Candace Owens, Diamond & Silk, Terrence K. Williams, Tomi Lahren, Jesse Lee Peterson, Colin Flaherty, Andy Ngo, Nick Fauntes, Richard Spencer and numerous far-right trolls.

Washington, DC has a population of 723,000 residents. The District of Columbia is a federal district that sits on the banks of the Potomac River. It shares borders with Maryland and Virginia. The district is considered a territory. It has one non-voting delegate representing the district.

The delegate is Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC).

Washington, DC is governed by Muriel Bowser, the city mayor and somewhat de facto governor. 

Congress oversees the overall jurisdiction of the district. It has three electoral votes in the Electoral College.

The District of Columbia will soon be a state.

The House of Representatives have officially passed a resolution acknowledging the possibility of granting statehood to the District. 

White nationalist Republicans are strongly opposed to the idea of granting statehood to the District of Columbia. They claim that if the Congress passes a legislation and President Joe Biden signs it, it will grant statehood to the area. It will become the Douglass Commonwealth and it will grant two new House members and two Senators. 

The White House, The Supreme Court and the Capitol will be enclosed in a federal enclave.

The need to for a complete passage in the Senate will take 60 votes. The white nationalist Democrats will not concede to revoking the filibuster. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) have continued to stand with white nationalists in the Republican Party. These two Democrats are not willing to revoke the filibuster.

The city of Washington, DC itself has population greater than Wyoming and Vermont. The U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico which also signals its support for statehood has a population of 3.5 million residents. It is the largest populated U.S. territory in the country.

Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY), one of the progressive members of the House and openly gay Black lawmaker sparked anger with the white nationalists. He slammed the Republicans complaints about granting D.C. statehood as "racist trash."

"One Senate Republican, said that D.C. wouldn't be a 'well rounded working class state.' I had no ideas there were so many syllables in the word white," the freshman New Yorker said. 

"One of my House Republican colleagues said that D.C. shouldn't be a state because the District doesn't have a landfill," he continued. "My goodness, with all the racist trash my colleagues have brought to this debate I can see why they're worried about having a place to put it." 

He was referring to future "America First" caucus member Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and his remarks about Washington, DC have no landfill and being a crime-ridden city. 

The passage of the statehood would give equality and fairness. It will give taxation with representation.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) added that on top of that D.C.'s budget is larger than 12 states. 

"Its people have fought in every American war since the Revolution," she added. 

"D.C. residents have been fighting for voting rights and autonomy for 220 years, with a full 86 percent recently voting for statehood. And it is well past the time to grant them the rights that they have been fighting for and that they deserve," Pelosi said.  

It will give America for the first time in over 60 years an opportunity to grow.

The calls to be united are growing. The U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Northern Mariana Islands are demanding Congress grant them voting rights. They want to participate in voting in the 2024 presidential election.

The family of the slain Minnesota man is holding his funeral. Daunte Wright, the Minneapolis father of one who was shot and killed by a former Brooklyn Center cop during a traffic stop is being laid to rest.

The former cop is being charged with his murder. She is facing up to 40 years in the iron college if convicted of murder. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

In April, Wright was being pulled over for a traffic violation. He was being detained on the suspicion of having expired tags. His family said they pulled him over because of his air freshener hanging in the rearview. When they got a warrant flag, he tried to escape them.

Daunte Wright's parents demand justice for their son.

During the struggle, the white female officer grabbed her firearm and mistaken it for a Taser. She fired on him in the chest. Wright drove a few blocks and ended up crashing into a vehicle. The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The video footage quickly came out. The Brooklyn Center police chief at the time called it an "accident" and tried to justify the death of Wright as him not being compliant. The mayor would soon fire him and the city manager. The cop on her part was fired as well. She was soon charged by Keith Ellison, the state's attorney general for negligent homicide. She had plead not guilty.

The cop was on the force for over 20 years. She does not live in Brooklyn Center.

Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver the eulogy for the slain man. In the sermon, he will call for the conviction of the dirty cop. He will also demand that change comes to Minneapolis and its surrounding communities.

He will call upon Congress to push for the George Floyd Police Reform bill to be passed in the Senate.

His death also comes at the time when a former Minneapolis cop was found guilty of murdering Floyd in May 2020 during an arrest. That dirty cop placed his goddamn knee on the neck of Floyd.

As Floyd was begging for his life, the cop ignored his pleas. He would soon become unconscious. 

A teenager recorded the incident and it went viral. It sparked a movement of protest. The protests demanded Congress and Washed Up 45 to end systematic racism. 

A child without his father.

Washed Up 45 and white nationalist Republicans ignored the protests and ran on the "law & order" mantra. The decision to run on that damaged them. Washed Up 45 would end up become the first president in modern history to be impeached twice and viewed widely as one of the worst presidents in a century. 

I am getting fucking tired of white nationalists and their enablers of color complaining about the lack of Black fathers. The fathers are either killed by gun violence, police violence, COVID-19, heart diseases, diabetes, freak accidents and just being Black in America.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

A one year rookie shot an unarmed motorist while serving a warrant.

We have another major incident in the country involving another white cop shooting a person of color.

Shortly after the verdict of the former Minneapolis cop who killed George Floyd, there were other incidents of police shootings of people of color. The shootings of Daunte Wright, Ma'Khia Bryant and now Andrew Brown have gotten the nation's attention.

The calls to pass the George Floyd Justice and Policing Bill in the Senate are growing. The white nationalist Republican Party and two white nationalist Democrats are stalling progress.

The pressure on Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) is on. They refuse to back the end of the filibuster. With the senate split evenly 50-50 with Vice President Kamala Harris being the tie breaking vote, President Joe Biden's agenda is being quickly stalled by white nationalists and their enablers (of color) in the Senate. 

A simple majority can force legislation a floor vote and passage.

Elizabeth City is on high alert after a cop shot Brown, 40, a father of ten after they tried to serve a search warrant on his property. The Pasquotank County Sheriff's department haven't released the name of the cop who shot him. The allegations is that Brown was trying to drive away when a deputy shot him.

There were six to eight shots fired and there's a video on social media allegedly. I haven't found it yet but it's expected to be graphic.

The sheriff's office confirms that the cop shot the man but refused to release the details of the shooting and whether Brown was armed or unarmed.

During a press conference on Wednesday, officials remained tight-lipped and refused to answer questions about the incident, citing it being an ongoing investigation.

Another police shooting in the United States and tensions are rising.

Sheriff Tommy Wooten II said the deputy was on the force for less than a year. The cop is on leave pending an investigation by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. His name or race weren't released.

Family members said that Brown was unarmed and wasn't trying to injure any cops. 

They removed his body from the vehicle he was driving and placed it beneath a blue tent, where it remained for hours after the shooting. The shooting drew a large crowd of angry neighbors and protesters.
