Dr. Ben Carson heads back to Florida. He ends his campaign.
Dr. Ben Carson isn't attending the Republican debate in Detroit Thursday. He's going to be in the area but there's no campaigning. Most have concluded that he's suspend his campaign. He's saying that he's not out of the race. He's no longer campaigning because he can't find a viable path to winning the nomination.
Well I don't know what I can tell you....It pretty damn well seems like it's over!
Instead of suspending his campaign, he said that at the CNUTS convention, Carson will make his announcement on his political future.
"Even though I will not be in my hometown of Detroit on Thursday, I remain deeply committed to my home nation, America," Carson's statement said. "I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results. However, this grassroots movement on behalf of 'We the People' will continue. Along with millions of patriots who have supported my campaign for President, I remain committed to Saving America for Future Generations. We must not depart from our goals to restore what God and our Founders intended for this exceptional nation."
Carson hasn't won a state since. He is the last place candidate.
In his rise to fame and decline, Carson was the former neurosurgeon for pediatrics at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He grew up from poverty to become a success story. He is married with children. Carson was scouted as a potential presidential candidate after he made speech at the National Prayer's Breakfast in 2013. That speech was deemed a dig at President Barack Obama.
There were grassroots organizations urging Carson to run for president.
He made headlines for several outlandish statements throughout his campaign, having once called Obamacare the worst thing "since slavery" and blaming the Holocaust on gun control.
At one point, Carson was second to an insurgent Donald Trump. But his decline came when the junk food media questioned him on many foreign and domestic policy issues. Carson could give complete answers. Trump also batted him down. Trump called Carson "truly a 'low energy candidate' who by far better than Jeb Bush". Carson also had most of campaign team bolt from him after he sought advice from conservative agitator Armstrong Williams. Williams being a diva drew the course for victory. That course led to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz emerging as the two viable candidates.
Initially praised by fellow conservatives for his "truth to power" attitude, Carson found himself in the hot seat during his campaign when it was reported that claims he made about his past, including being offered a "full scholarship" to West Point and stabbing his childhood friend, were exaggerated.
Claiming to be the victim of a "political hit job," Carson often accused the junk food media of scrutinizing him more than his fellow candidates. His disdain for the junk food media helped garner him more support from the conservative base.
Now he's begging for attention now that the junk food media isn't interested in his lame campaign.
Carson is being wooed by Republicans to run in the U.S. Senate race in Florida. The establishment wants to hold on to the seat that Marco Rubio is vacating. Rubio is retiring from his single term in the U.S. Senate to solely focus on running for president.
Rubio who is struggling in the national polls is hoping that a united front could usurp Donald Trump's bid for the nomination.
Carson also has bad blood with Ted Cruz. According to the Carson campaign, Cruz pulled a bitch move on him. He could have won many votes if Cruz didn't run his mouth about Carson ending his campaign after Iowa.
Cruz is facing controversy after Trump and Rubio labeled him a "liar".
Carson might need to practice brain surgery on himself. He was pronounced brain dead and out of the presidential race.
President Barack Obama awards The Medal of Freedom to poet Maya Angelou. She passed away in 2014.
When Maya Angelou passed away in 2014, many in America praised the poet for her upbringing towards greatness. Her dynamic stories of growing up in a racially-divided South have become literary masterpieces.
Her praise was going to be notarized on a post office. Although it passed through the Congress without much controversy, the Huffington Post notes that a handful of insurgent lawmakers voted against it.
The post office was going to be named in her hometown of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The lawamakers who voted against the naming were Andy Harris (R-MD), Mo Brooks (R-AL), Ken Buck (R-CO), Michael Burgess (R-TX), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Glen Grothman (R-WI), Thomas Massie (R-KY), Alex Mooney (R-WV) and Steven Palazzo (R-MS), and Rep. Don Young (R-AK).
H R 3735 2/3 YEA-AND-NAY 1-Mar-2016 2:32 PM QUESTION: On Motion to Suspend the Rules and Pass BILL TITLE: Maya Angelou Memorial Post Office
Notably the Republican lawmakers such as Brooks, Burgess and Rep. Steve King (R-IA) are scheduled to speak at the CNUTS Convention this weekend.
The so-called party of Civil Rights once again at work, trying to destroy itself.
The reason to why they opposed the naming of a post office is because Maya Angelou said positive things about Fidel Castro, the former president of Cuba.
As NBC points out, the bill was debated just after the House unanimously voted to rename a California post office. The 114th Congress has voted to rename at least two dozen other public buildings.
One of the congressmen who voted against the Maya Angelou Memorial Post Office called the poet "a communist sympathizer."
"His parents escaped communism and he feels that he cannot vote to name a post office in the United States in honor of someone who supported the communist Castro revolution in Cuba," a spokesperson for Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) told NBC. According to his campaign website, Harris' father was born in Hungary and his mother's birthplace was Poland.
In 2015 a United States Postal Service stamp was issued commemorating Maya Angelou with the Joan Walsh Anglund quote "A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song", though the stamp mistakenly attributes the quote to Angelou. The quote is from Anglund's book of poems A Cup of Sun (1967).
The Republican revisionist history says that Ronald Reagan was friend of Black America.
The Republican revisionist history says that Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.
The Democrats passed the Jim Crow laws. The Democrats founded the Klan. Even with a Democratic President like that "racist" Lyndon B Johnson, the Democrats didn't passed the Civil Rights Act. It was the Republicans.
Terrorist shot at campaign office of a Black candidate running for sheriff.
Not a peep from the conservatives agitators. But if this terrorist was a Black person, you would have heard the Fox crew and AM agitators debate whether #BlackLivesMatter or President Barack Obama are responsible for the acts of this person.
The Huffington Post has report that a Black candidate running for sheriff in Texas got her campaign office shot up by this terrorist who claims he was on his "medication".
Zena Stephens, a candidate running for sheriff of Jefferson County was the intended target.
The terrorist Adam Carver claimed that these "fucking NIGGERS" were ruining his community and he didn't want another one in charge of his town.
The terrorist "shot towards a female that was in the parking lot," according to the Beaumont police. No one was hurt.
Zena Stephens addressing the media.
Beaumont police charged this terrorist with deadly conduct for discharging a firearm and are reviewing his mental health, jail records show. "He's under medical supervision," said a jail official who did not give his name.
Stephens, who was seeking the Democratic nomination for Jefferson County sheriff in the Super Tuesday primary, called it a "senseless act of violence" in a statement. She said she planned to discuss the attack after Tuesday's votes are counted.
About 20 people were inside the office and several others stood outside for a volunteers' rally when Carver pulled up in a white Jeep with four passengers at around 7:30 p.m. Many witnesses will give statements after the primary, police said.
Police found the Cherokee, Carver and the other passengers more than two hours later. They claim that Carver confessed during questioning.
A BB-style gun and low-caliber rifle turned up during a police search of the jeep, NBC News reported.
The other passengers were questioned, but not charged. Detectives will continue to investigate, Beaumont police said.
The terrorist may be linked to damage inflicted on other businesses, vehicles and signage, the Port Arthur News reported.
Now before he gets transferred to the county lockup, the terrorist will be evaluated by the doctors to see if he's competent to stand trial. The criminal damaging could carry five in the iron college. The firing of the weapon and making terrorist threats could carry 15 in the iron college.
This terrorist is innocent until proven guilty.
Now will someone please address this senseless act of violence to The Drudge Report, Colin Flaherty and Bill Cunningham?
Trump smoked the rivals. He's now focusing on Hillary Clinton.
An entertainer, business and media mogul defeats the Stallmigos, Papa Smurf and Beetle Bailey.
Republicans better start panicking cause Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee. He managed to win in almost ever race. Super Tuesday is Trumpsday!
Quick Poll.
Donald Trump being the Republican nominee. Helps the GOP or hurts them!
Donald Trump managed to win Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Virginia and Vermont. That's a near blow out.
It's a two man race now! Ted Cruz done well. He won his home state of Texas and neighboring states of Arkansas and Oklahoma. Would it make a difference? In Texas, you have to have over 50% of the vote to have all the needed delegates. Cruz, by my calculations didn't earn that! He might have to split the delegates.
Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and John Kasich are doomed. Rubio won Minnesota and Kasich came in second place in Vermont. It wasn't the blow out that Rubio wanted.
Also Hillary Clinton widens her lead against Bernie Sanders.
Hillary Clinton won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Texas and Virginia. Bernie Sanders continues to hold on. He won Oklahoma and Vermont.
Colorado, American Samoa and Democrats Abroad are up next.
Marco Rubio the establishment's choice failed to win any of the states. That's a huge blow to the GOP donors and many lawmakers who endorsed Rubio as the only person who could bring the Republicans together. Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) has declared he will not support a Trump candidacy.
Trump dismissed Sasse. He said that the Republican elites are the failures by rallying around Rubio and Sasse isn't going to win elections. Trump congratulates Cruz on his narrow victory in the two states.
Trump vows to steal the "blue collar" Democrats. He believes disgruntled White people are uniting around him. He wants to peel off Democrats who felt that the Obama legacy isn't beneficial to their lives.
Trump had also went after Paul Ryan (House Speaker) and Mitch McConnell (Senate Majority Leader) for being too cozy at their jobs. Ryan and McConnell denounces the Klan's endorsement of Trump. They want him to disavow the Klan and White extremist David Duke. Trump said he doesn't care about their endorsement.
Trump told a lie about the president. He said that President Barack Obama refuses to talk to the Republican controlled Congress. Today, Obama and Democrats in the Judiciary committee met with McConnell and Chuck Grassley on the Supreme Court nomination pick. McConnell vows to not take up the matter until another president wins.
Marco Rubio concedes that he didn't win much. But he's being robotic in his attacks against Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Rubio said that "a vote for Trump is a vote for Clinton". I heard him say it on all three networks. That's pretty damn repetitive.
Ted Cruz breathes a sigh of relief. He won. But he goes back into his bombastic rhetoric that many opponents said were lies and misleading statements. Cruz is whining about how Trump's deal-making is Obama-esque.
This is a serious threat. Republicans will eventually unite around Trump. Don't believe all the hype about Republicans being in a "civil war". They fear Hillary Clinton more than Donald Trump.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump want the Affordable Healthcare Act (aka Obamacare) repealed.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump believe that Mexico should pay for a border wall.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump believe Muslims should be banned from the country.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump believe that amnesty should not be allowed in the United States.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump believe #BlackLivesMatter support the killing of White people and those in law enforcement.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump believe that illegals are bringing in drugs, guns, criminal violence and sexual assault.
Many of the voters who support Donald Trump think that Ted Cruz and President Barack Obama aren't American citizens. Also many think that Cruz and Marco Rubio are liars.
Democrats got to unite. It's going to be a tougher fight than I've thought! They laugh at Trump now, but they'll cry if wins the presidency.
Did you know that Donald Trump ran for president in 2000?
He was running for president under the Reform Party.
This is Trump's second time running.
So that means that Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, John Kasich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Jim Gilmore, and Mike Huckabee are perennial candidates. They ran for president and failed the first time.
Only Clinton and Trump are succeeding in winning.
Trump was a member of the Reform Party and tried to secure the nomination. He bounced out the group when he heard David Duke was endorsing the Reform Party's nominee Pat Buchanan
Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio pounced on the Duke endorsement. The New York Times have secret recordings of Trump complaining about politicians and his stances on issues. The Republicans are hoping that the Times will release the tapes to damage Trump. They also have Trump on tape saying he denounced Duke back in 2000.
Paul Ryan, the Speaker of House said that Trump isn't representing the Republican Party. He said that Trump's impact could damage the brand.
Republicans are divided over the possibility of Trump being their nominee.
I hear that Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter ain't kicking it no more. The two bombastic agitators got into a huge social media spat. The annoying conservative agitator was pretty clear in 2013 about immigration. But I guess when the harpy grabbed the soundbites to prove that, Hannity returned to social media to blast her for bringing up that. Coulter basically slammed Hannity for being a hypocrite and opportunist for the Republican elites. Hannity says that Coulter was a huge Chris Christie fan before she turned Donald Trump.
Hannity allowed Trump to bash Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Roger Ailes on television.
Bill O'Reilly had lost custody of his children. In a New York court, he and his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy had a nasty fallout over his children. The children said that Bill-O was abuse to their mom and he didn't want to spend time with the family. He's too obsessed with trying to defeat President Barack Obama and it's not what the family supports. This has taken O'Reilly off his game.
I hear that Rush Limbaugh, Roger Ailes and Fox executives talked with Marco Rubio about the immigration reform bill. Rubio was hoping to court Limbaugh, Ailes and that right wing network's blessing. Limbaugh dismissed the notion he supports Rubio's immigration reform and blast the people who covered the story.
I hear that kookspiracy nuts Roger Stone and Alex Jones are warning that if Rubio fails, the Republican donors will call upon perennial loser Mitt Romney to join the race. Roger Stone's obsession with Bill Clinton alleged affairs have risen back to the surface. Stone is a Trump supporter and was urging him to use this as a play to stop the accusations of Trump being a sexist.
Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Ben Carson, Donald Trump fight for delegates in these states and the U.S. territory of American Samoa. Trump is leading in almost all the states. Texas and Arkansas are competitive between Cruz and Trump. Rubio has to win a state to contiue. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders also have to win states to stay in.
I hear that Republican senators are refusing to support a Trump nomination. Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) is refusing to support any of the candidates. He said that if Trump wins the nomination, he will leave the party. He doesn't want the party to be associated with White extremists such as David Duke.
NASCAR has endorsed Trump for president.
Trump booted out Black audience members and the Secret Service slammed a photographer on the ground. The junk food media also report that this happened before the Hannity taping.
Rubio is flopping. His attacks on Trump have backfired. Many conservatives have stated that Rubio's off message and this deliberate approach to win is pathetic.
The House's insurgent lawmakers are bucking the party and are endorsing Trump for president. Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) and Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) also backed Trump on Monday, becoming the third and fourth GOP House members to do so. The others are Reps. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) and Chris Collins (R-NY). They join former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin, Sen. Jeff Session (R-AL), Maine's Paul LePage and New Jersey's Chris Christie as Trump's biggest endorsements.
Today is primary day. Super Tuesday 2016. The participating states include Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado (with caucuses), Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota (with caucuses), Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Virginia. Additionally, Republican caucuses are being held in Alaska and Wyoming. One participating territory is American Samoa.
It's likely Trump and Cruz will win. Cruz will not take a majority of the delegates in Texas. He doesn't have 50% of the vote in the state. He's struggling to make it over 40%.
If Trump carries a huge majority of states and awarded a majority delegates, he will become the presumptive nominee.
By the way, all the Hillary Clinton emails are out! The Democratic candidate's emails became a controversy because she used a private server instead of a government server. Conservatives say that she should be indicted for this. It's highly unlikely.
We'll keep you posted on the results! GET YOUR ASSES OUT THERE AND VOTE!
Terrorist shoots up high school. The law stops him.
Yesterday, another mass shooting happened in Ohio. The Butler County sheriff and the FBI are investigating the motive of a teen who prompted a terrorist attack on his fellow high school students.
The terrorist is a 14 year old who probably was bullied by the people he probably was aiming at.
The shooting at Madison High School outside of Middletown was the scene of a shooting.
James Hancock was the shooter. He had injured four. The victims were Cameron Smith and Cooper Caffrey. The two who have ancillary wounds are Brant Murray and Katherine Doucette.
The victims will survive their injuries. They will have life-altering experiences after this ordeal.
The terrorist struck at 11:15 am during a lunch break. The terrorist managed to sneak the firearm inside the school. He struck when the students were at their most vulnerable. Some students said he smirks at his victims when he popped off.
The terrorist would ditch the firearm and take off into the woods. Within a few minutes the sheriff would use the dogs to draw him out.
Madison Junior/Senior High School will be closed for the remaining week for investigations. The FBI and Ohio lawmen are trying to determine why this terrorist committed this attack.
Now the terrorist is held in juvie on attempted murder, making terrorist threats and aggravated assault. He may end up in the county lockup if they decide to charge him as an adult.
These charges alone could carry LIFE in the iron college. Hancock is innocent until proven guilty.
The junk food media is saying that the terrorist had a decent life. The "NICE GUY" with a gun was a standout wrestler and whatever. I don't care what the terrorists history. I care about the lives he disturbed.
World News Today send our prayers to those affected by this tragedy. Although prayers won't wish this stuff away. Ohio lawmakers and Congress are the keys to stopping these senseless tragedies.
The Blame Game is once again. I have a poll for you to vote on.
The Ohio high school shooting. Who deserves the blame for this tragedy?
If you picked the shooter, you're absolutely correct. But if you picked something other than that, you're entitled to your opinion, but it's wrong.
Republicans are so inept. They'll never figure it out. They continue to push these gun laws that loosen regulations. Congress can't even pass a national background check law. They're scared of the impact by "actual guns" being pointed at them.
Residents gather for prayer and sympathies.
Heavy said that the terrorist's family were Republicans and life members to the NRA. So that should eliminate the accusations of being a liberal Obama supporter. You usually hear alot of that stuff from kookspiracy websites like InfoWars, Breitbart and Jim Hoft (the Gateway Pundit).
But let's not worry about that stuff. I don't care about the politics or associations of the terrorist.
Republican sheriff Richard K. Jones will have to take his mind off profiling Blacks, Muslims and immigrants. He has to worry about those guys who stockpile firearms in the preparation of a "political correctness" war.
It seems like his let everyone have guns in public was a misfire. I mean he's a staunch supporter of the NRA and is a round 'em up person. He would make criminals wear pink while doing work duty.
This also happened in racial agitator Bill Cunningham's backyard. Cunningham lives in West Chester. The agitator is a syndicated talk show host on The CW and radio agitator on WLW 700 AM.
The Cincinnati conservative agitator was on a bitch rant about the terrorist who killed a rookie cop. He was pointing to the terrorist race in an attempt to blame President Barack Obama and #BlackLivesMatter for the attack.
Wondering if Colin Flaherty will focus on White on everyone violence? Nope. He's not even covering this. He's too busy pimping out the other tragedies such as pastor shooting up the road in Dayton, the Virginia cop shooting, and the Kansas terrorist attack. Flaherty, a white extremist who gets attention on media outlets is so obsessed with Black mob violence and the like? But not one peep about the violence caused by White people.
Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and Ohio's goober John Kasich have to explain why gun violence is a part of the daily routine.
Goober Kasich, President Barack Obama, Senators Rob Portman (R-OH) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH) were notified of the situation.
The pile of money spelled B-R-O-K-E. That's really classy, 50....make fun of the real situation.
The Daily Mail reports that the 40-year-old rapper also lost a legal battle with his ex-business partners over a failed headphone deal and was slapped with a $17 million judgement in that case.
According to his Chapter 11 petition, Fifty claimed he had assets between $10 to $50 million but that his liabilities were in the same range.
Last month, he filed documents in the bankruptcy stating he only had $16 million in assets.
However, it appears appraisers checked into it all - and found his assets total over $64 million and that he only has liabilities totaling more than $36 million.
In addition, 50 Cent's current monthly income is $184,000-plus. The appraisers also valued his home goods to $131,000 including $49,000 in jewelry alone.
Appraisers found he has over $10 million in checking and stocks as well as his various G-Unit and other business' which are worth over $44 million.
His bankruptcy claims have come into question by Judge Ann Nevins, who is concerned over his actual need for bankruptcy and has asked for him to explain a series of photographs he posted to social media.
Today is his former rival Ja Rule's birthday. Ja Rule (born Jeffery Atkins) was born on February 29. He turns 40 years old today. I wonder which day would he celebrate his birthday on the off years!
I bet you money that Ja isn't sweating over money!
No disrespect to Chris Rock, I choose to not watch the 88th Academy Awards show. I am not interested in that stuff. I don't find no interest in watching entertainers show off their dresses, their new relationships, their new baby bumps or the social media buzzing about what happened.
I tend to be very reclusive when it comes to the social media and what people do. I get jealous of people bragging about their successes. Hollywood is a part of that.
Many others who struggle to get acting roles are often shunned because of their race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, political and disability. Some say it's the talent that judges you!
But given that some of the most critically acclaimed movies being shunned, I figured that I wouldn't watch this regardless. Even if a Black comic who addresses racial issues hosted it, I find no interest in awards shows. I just going to summarize it and give an honest take to what happened.
The country's most notorious racial agitator splashed this on his conservative Criagslist today.
Chris Rock's performance at the Academy Awards was good. I mean it was brutally honest. It opened up a discussion to why no person of color being nominated for an Oscar for a second time in a row.
The comedian's monologue and skits were so funny and yes really straight to the point.
The junk food media was talking about it all morning. They were picking apart every skit. They had praised Rock for being upfront about the Academy Awards being inclusive.
He took on #OscarsSoWhite.
He took jabs at fellow comedians such as Kevin Hart.
He took jabs at Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. The Smiths were boycotting the event after Jada took to the internet to protest the nomination. She and Spike Lee became the most visible faces of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.
Leonardo DiCaprio won an Academy Award for the first time.
"What happened this year? People went nuts. Spike [Lee] got mad. Jada went mad. Will [Smith] went mad. Everyone went mad!" Rock said about all the celebs wanting to protest the Oscars. "Jada said she's not coming. I was like, ‘isn't she on TV show?' Jada's gonna boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties. I wasn't invited!"
People gasped and laughed at the joke. But when Rock when back to monologue, he sympathizes with Jada and Spike Lee's grievance.
"Her man Will was not nominated for Concussion. I get it. You get mad. It's not fair that Will was this good and didn't get nominated. You're right," he said. "It's also not fair that Will was paid $20 million for Wild Wild West!"
Chris opened his monologue with a jab at the montage that played at the beginning of the show, featuring all the movies the Academy is celebrating during the show.
"I counted at least 15 black people in that montage!" he laughed. "Well, I'm here at the Academy Awards, otherwise known as the White Peoples Choice Awards."
"You realize if they nominated hosts, I wouldn't even get this job. Y'all be watching Neil Patrick Harris right now….I thought about quitting. I thought about it real hard. But I realized, they're going to have the Oscars anyway. They're not going to cancel the Oscars because I quit," Rock reasoned. "And the last thing I need is to lose another job to Kevin Hart!"
Rock was also quick to point out that a lack of diversity among nominees has always been a problem, long before this year's Oscars.
"Why this Oscars? It's the 88th Academy Awards, which means this whole 'no black nominee' has happened like 71 other times. You gotta figure it happened in the ‘50s, in the ‘60s...and black people didn't protest. You know why? Because black people had real things to protest at the time. Too busy being raped and lynched to care about who won Best Cinematographer. You know, when your grandmother is swinging from a tree, it's hard to care about Best Documentary Foreign Short."
"This year, things are going to be a little different at the Oscars," he promised. "This year in the In Memoriam package, it's just going to be black people who were shot by the cops on their way to the movies."
He also had a pretty easy solution for getting more nominations for black actors.
"If you want black people every year at the Oscars, just have black categories, like 'Best Black Friend.' And the winner for the 18th year in a row is Wanda Sykes!" Rock quipped, before finally turning serious. "What I'm trying to say is, it's not about boycotting. We want opportunity. We want the black actors to get the same opportunities as white actors. That's it! Not just once."
Chris Rock brought on Girl Scouts to sell cookies to some of the entertainers. That drew high the biggest applause of the night.
Well I heard that Leonard DeCaprio finally got his Oscar for the performance in The Reverent. From the days of being a teen actor, Leo has dreamed that day would come. He was nominated over five times and never earned an Oscar for them. Today, he is finally an award winner.
Leo's is a devoted environmentalist who believes that the time is now to get things done about climate change. And yes, he devoted his Oscar to those who struggled for this opportunity.
Vice President Joe Biden was there in attendance. He had an opportunity to introduce Grammy award winning/Oscar nominated singer/actress Lady Gaga.
Vice President Joe Biden gives message to America about sexual abuse.
Biden was pressing the audience to address sexual abuse on college campuses. This was a prime issue among the vice president and President Barack Obama.
“Despite significant progress over the last few years, too many woman and men on and off college campuses are still victims of sexual abuse,” the Veep told industry power players and the tens of millions watching on TV. “Tonight, I’m asking you to join millions of Americans including me, President Obama, the thousands of students I’ve met on college campuses and the artists here tonight to take the pledge.”
“The pledge says I will intervene in situations where consent has not or can not be given,” Biden said. “Let’s change the culture, we must and we can change the culture.”
Lady Gaga’s performance of the performance of Best Original Song nominee “Til It Happens To You” from the documentary The Hunting Ground.
Whoopi Goldberg was mistaken for Oprah Winfrey by Total Beauty.
She performed the song with victims of sexual and child abuse.
Total Beauty did the digital dash. Of course, they couldn't tell the difference between Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey.
Goldberg is an Oscar award winning actress who is the host of The View. The beauty brand company noticed that Whoopi is heavily tattooed. They expressed surprise that the person who they thought was in the photo, talk show host and actress Oprah Winfrey, had tattoos.
They said: “We had no idea @Oprah was #tatted and we love it.”
Social media went brutal on Total Beauty. The Independent reports that the hashtag “ThatsNotOprah” quickly went viral.
The mix-up prompted anger and frustration on twitter, with one user saying: “Are you fucking kidding me?!? The ONE black woman at the #Oscars and you fuck it up.”
Many people also took to social media to jokingly post pictures of white actors and deliberately name them incorrectly.
Total Beauty quickly went to social media to apologize for the error.
We’d like to apologize to Oprah and Whoopi, as well as everyone we’ve offended. It was our error, and there are no excuses. We’re sorry.
Goldberg will likely address this controversy on The View as well as her former friend who turned into a conservative agitator.
Washed up actress Stacey Dash puts her two cents into the Chris Rock performance. The actress who is also political commentator came onto stage shocking many in the audience. People didn't even recognize her. She was a part of the Rock skit for "minority outreach".
"I cannot wait to help my people out," Dash announced to a baffled audience. "Happy Black History Month!"
The reaction, both in the live audience where even Oscar nominated/Grammy award winning singer The Weeknd was like "What the fuck!"
While many panned her for even showing up, Dash basically laughed it off. "When they added ME to increase the diversity, I'm sure many Black people rolled their eyes. I'm not 'Black enough', they say. But guess what? I've heard that all my life. I would rather be a free thinking Black than a cookie cutter Black who thinks and votes---just like all my friends".
Well here's a clue for the "Clueless". Dash, you're the cookie cutter and you're baked!
Anyway when the Nielsen ratings come out, we'll find out if the viewership is high or low!
Three young men were murdered in cold blood. The junk food media calls it a local story. The men were Muslim-Americans.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES!
It happens in my own backyard. I mean there was a shooting in Dayton, Ohio. A pastor was gunned down by his own family member. The terrorist was arrested without any incident.
A Virginia officer who was sworn to duty one day earlier was gunned down in Woodbridge. The terrorist was an Army staff sergeant who had clearance at the Pentagon. The terrorist murdered his wife after a domestic dispute. The suspect was arrested without any incident.
Now as expected, the agitators in the junk food media are going to discuss these tragedies. I mean it's common that the first thing that comes up is the fact the terrorists were "NICE GUYS".
The terrorists had run-ins with law enforcement or never had a criminal history. The terrorists were experiencing some issue. It could have been a dispute between family, friends or community.
These shootings have gotten major attention in the junk food media.
Well in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the city is mourning the death of three men who were killed execution style. These three Muslim-American men were murdered in a neighborhood a few miles from downtown.
The Muslim-American community and many religious leaders are upset that the junk food media isn't spotlighting this horrible tragedy.
The shooting on Lewis Street in Fort Wayne didn't get notice until now!
This incident happened on Wednesday night. This was before the Republican debate and the Kalamazoo terrorist shooting on Thursday. Kalamazoo is 123 miles from Fort Wayne.
Fort Wayne's public safety director Rusty York told a local ABC affiliate, 21 Alive, that there was “no reason to believe this was any type of hate crime, or focused because of their religion or their nationality whatsoever.”
He even noted that the house, rented out by a landlord who lives elsewhere, had become a place where young men of African descent often got together for parties.
The Fort Wayne Police Department did not offer The Huffington Post any additional comment about the suspected motive on Sunday.
Hamzah Sharif, the imam of the Islamic Center of Fort Wayne, did not mention a possible motive in a Facebook message about the young men’s funeral. He instead lauded the presence of the town’s other communities of faith at the service.
“All of [the] Fort Wayne community showed unity and solidarity against violence and stood together to pray for the three young men along with their families,” Sharif wrote.
Ahmed Abdelmageed, director of experiential education at Manchester University’s college of pharmacy in Fort Wayne, acknowledged that the deaths were an especially painful blow for Muslims, but warned against assuming it was a hate crime.
“‘Execution Style’ and the word ‘Muslim’ have certainly been forever ingrained in the minds of American Muslims and they trigger painful images of 3 beautiful souls lost for simply being Muslim,” Abdelmageed wrote on Facebook. “I caution however that the reason does not appear to be related to them being Muslim.”
The Klan is on the rise. The anti-Black, anti-Immigrant and anti-Muslim rhetoric from Republicans has become recruitment tools for White extremists.
But the incident comes amid a wave of anti-Muslim incidents in the wake of the November terror attack in Paris, increasing the possibility that the triple killing was motivated by prejudice.
Some people, many of them other Muslims, took to social media to question law enforcement’s contention that the crime was unrelated to the Islamic faith of the victims, and to call for an investigation of the killings as a hate crime.
The victims Mohamed Taha Omar, Adam K. Mekki and Muhannad A. Tairab were found in a house with slugs in their heads.
The Fort Wayne Police and the FBI are certain this event wasn't a "gang related situation". They don't know if its either a "hate crime" a "murder-suicide" or a "terrorist attack".
What we know, it's a mass shooting and I don't know who the shooter was! The FBI is actively searching for the persons involved in this horrible tragedy.
Hence forth the blame game.
Who deserves the blame in the death of three Muslim men killed in Indiana?
Obviously I know what happens when I place a poll together. I expect someone to blame entities other than the shooter. The shooter deserves the blame for this.
The junk food media doesn't often cover every controversy and selective outrage is noted among the latest topics de jour.
World News Today send our condolences to the families of Mohamed Taha Omar, Adam K. Mekki and Muhannad A. Tairab.
U.S. Army sergeant kills a first year officer on her first night.
Now as another tragic gun shooting happened in Virginia. This one involved an Army staff sergeant assigned to the Pentagon. The terrorist murdered his wife and an officer who worked for the Prince William County police department.
The terrorist named Ronald Williams Hamilton murdered his wife Crystal and then went into combat mode and aimed at three officers. One officer who was hit was Ashley Guindon, a first year rookie. Ashley was a Marine combat veteran who started as an intern for the police department.
Matter of fact, she was sworn to duty a few days ago. This was the officer's first shift on Saturday night.
The terrorist killed his wife Crystal Hamilton and a Virginia officer.
The Associated Press and Washington Post report that the terrorist is suspected of killing his wife and the officer in his home in Woodbridge, a city about 25 miles from Washington, DC.
He faces capital murder and this charge alone in Virginia carries the PILL KILL (DEATH SENTENCE). Matter of fact, he will automatically face a court martial. The terrorist is innocent until proven guilty.
"We ask for everyone's thoughts and prayers as our department deals with this tragic loss," the Prince Williams County police department released to the press.
The other officers were injured were Jesse Hempen and David McKeown. They were treated for their injuries and will survive the shooting.
Of course, the problem that is missing from the equation is the fact that this terrorist had mental issues or was the "NICE GUY" with a gun.
Terrorist held on capital murder of an officer and his wife.
A domestic dispute lead to the police encounter. The suspect prepared for their arrival. He used his military training and quickly took to action when the officers approached his door.
He shot that officer at a pointed angle where it hit her in the neck. That injury alone killed her upon impact.
Of course, since the victims were White and the suspect was Black, here comes the goddamn blame game.
Who deserves the blame in the death of a Virginia police officer?
Right now, that racial extremist Bill Cunningham is making light of controversies in Kansas, Ohio, and Virginia. Instead of blaming the shooter, the racial extremists would fault the president and #BlackLivesMatter for the shooting. Cunningham and other racial extremists would deliberately make the race of the suspect an issue.
Cunningham is a notorious race baiter who has a radio program in Cincinnati. He also has a syndicated talk show on many CW stations. He's rewarded for spewing hate.
The conservatives are now hyping up Black on Whatever violence. The incidents in Kansas, Ohio, and now Virginia have gotten much attention because the suspects are Black.
No mentions of the Kalamazoo terrorist by Bill Cunningham or Colin Flaherty. No mentions of the Klan clashing with protesters in California. Three people were injured by a stabbing. One of the Klan members had a pointed flag pole. That Klan man stabbed three and one gotten critical injuries.
No mentions of the execution style murders of three innocent Muslim men in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
No mentions of the murder-suicide and police shooting in Washington state.
Yeah, you never hear that in the news. It doesn't fit the narrative.
World News Today sends our condolences to the families of Crystal Hamilton and Ashley Guindon.
We also send our condolences to the victims of gun violence mentioned and not mentioned by the junk food media. We condemn the agitators who exploit these tragedies for political blame.
