Today rapper Slim Shady celebrates his birthday. The word on the street is that Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known as Eminem is working on a new album and its coming out this year.
The album titled ROOTS is coming and I anticipate that Em will drop a bomb on 'em.
The rumors have been spreading across the internet. Em is teaming up with his longtime producer Dr. Dre to release a 12 track album with features from Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Skylar Gray.
The rumored album isn't leaking. Eminem signed a deal with APPLE Music and it's top secret.
Eminem is the founder of Shady Records. The label is home to Yelawolf, D12, and the Slaughterhouse.
Slaughterhouse is a rap group that features Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Kxng Crooked (formerly known as Crooked I) and Royce Da 5'9".
Eminem is a signed act to Aftermath Entertainment.

Afeni Shakur, the mother of the late rapper Tupac Shakur passed away today. The mother who inspired her son for greatness was found dead in her Marin County, California home.
The family confirmed that she passed away from an apparent heart attack.
Shakur was an activist and motivational speaker. She urged rappers to put aside their differences for the sake of the Black community. There was a brutal hip-hop war between the West coast and the East coast. It led to the deaths of her son and his longtime rival the Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls).
Her name became famous in the 1995 Tupac Shakur single "Dear Mama" off the Me Against the World album.
Afeni Shakur sued Death Row for all of Tupac's music and licensing fees. She was awarded a cache of unreleased music, movie reels and poems from the rapper who many saw as a poetic but yet troubled soul.
Shakur led the fight to get a museum in her son's honor.

Queen Bey is releasing her album on Tidal. The album Lemonade is already platinum by sales figures. It's one of the very few albums in Beyonce's collection where she is the "bawse" of this.

The most notable lyrics he managed to whine about were "I’d rather be crazy" than being "walked all over lately." She asks: "Are you cheating on me?"

So Friedman sums it up in his condescending fashion. He believes that Beyonce looks nuts in this video.
He says that Beyonce is suppose to be a role model to women across the world. He believes that she's a slut and her actions are pleasing crowds that "[Act out] at one of those Monster truck rallies."

Janet Jackson cancels tour. The media claims that she's pregnant and expecting.
Some news made the rounds today. A famous pop singer decided to end a world tour for personal matters and her fans are excited about it. Janet Jackson might have a little bun in the oven.
"My husband and I are planning our family," she said, beaming in a video posted to Twitter.
Her doctors have ordered her to rest up, which means she's postponing the second leg of her Unbreakable world tour indefinitely.
"We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change," she announced in the video. "I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can."

The Daily Mail reports that the 40-year-old rapper also lost a legal battle with his ex-business partners over a failed headphone deal and was slapped with a $17 million judgement in that case.
According to his Chapter 11 petition, Fifty claimed he had assets between $10 to $50 million but that his liabilities were in the same range.
Last month, he filed documents in the bankruptcy stating he only had $16 million in assets.
However, it appears appraisers checked into it all - and found his assets total over $64 million and that he only has liabilities totaling more than $36 million.
In addition, 50 Cent's current monthly income is $184,000-plus. The appraisers also valued his home goods to $131,000 including $49,000 in jewelry alone.
Appraisers found he has over $10 million in checking and stocks as well as his various G-Unit and other business' which are worth over $44 million.
His bankruptcy claims have come into question by Judge Ann Nevins, who is concerned over his actual need for bankruptcy and has asked for him to explain a series of photographs he posted to social media.

The Life of Pablo will likely score the number one spot. The album was released on Sunday by the controversial celebrity agitator/rapper/producer Kanye West.
Kanye who already celebrating his platinum selling album is getting hammered by the junk food media for his diss on rival Taylor Swift. At the Grammy's Taylor fired back at Kanye after he said on his album that this "bitch owed her career to him". Kanye's album must be in-demand because people are taking advantage of buying the album. It may be one of the best albums of the year.
It took over three years of work and retooling. The album received praise and criticism.
It also attracted some major bootlegging.
The downloading torrents have already premiered the release. And many of Yeezy's fans already copped it offline instead of through his exclusively signed deal through Tidal.
Apparently not everyone is interested in paying $9.99 a month just to get access to The Life of Pablo, because TorrentFreak reports that an estimated half-million people had already illegally downloaded a copy of the album via BitTorrent within a day of its release. And that's not counting those who grabbed the album via "various direct download services and hosting sites," TorrentFreak notes. At the time of its posting Tuesday, TorrentFreak saw nearly 10,000 people sharing one of the most popular Pablo torrents simultaneously, "something we haven't seen with a music release before."

Many others, who did sign up for Tidal, apparently struggled to actually obtain the album; TorrentFreak says Tidal's support desk was "flooded with complaints." The site estimates that Tidal probably got "tens of thousands of new subscribers" thanks to West's limited release, and Business Insider notes that Tidal "shot ... to the top of the app download charts" after the album's release, so it's difficult to say whether that cancels out the illegal downloads. Google searches for both Tidal and "Kanye torrent" got a huge boost after West announced his release plans for the album, Wired reports. The International Business Times notes that West also sold the album on his website, but only for a few hours Saturday.
Also the ego driven celebrity agitator said that he doesn't want White people reviewing his music.
Kanye told music publications like Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and other "white publications" not to cover him and other black artists. In a follow up tweet to that original statement, Kanye expressed how much he loved white people, but argued that white music journalists couldn’t understand "what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves and make it this far."

Former pop singer Denise "Vanity" Matthews passed away.
A bit of sad news happened to hit the junk food media. Singer/actress Denise Matthews best known as Vanity passed away in California after fighting sclerosis. That along with peritonitis and kidney disease was the contributing factors to her death.
Prince groomed this young Canadian singer named Denise Matthews. She would call herself Vanity and help build a group. The group Vanity 6 recorded their only album by the same name. The album is credited for the successful singles "Nasty Girl" and "Drive Me Wild".
Vanity would end up going solo. She end up releasing the albums Wild Animal and Skin on Skin with the hits "Pretty Mess", "Mechanical Emotion" and "Under the Influence".
Vanity would also take up a gig in acting. She appeared in the movies The Last Dragon, 52 Pick-Up and Action Jackson.
During her rise, she fell victim to the "Rock Star Lifestyle". She was addicted to crack cocaine and heroin. She would end up having kidney failure and for the remainder of her life she would undergo peritoneal dialysis five times a day.
She had dated Prince, Adam Ant and Bill Idol. She also was engaged to Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue.
She had a brief marriage to Anthony Smith of the Oakland Raiders. That marriage ended after he got caught up in a murder. Smith is serving LIFE in the iron college.
After a night of binging on crack cocaine, she suffered a nearly fatal renal failure.
That near death experience made her realize that her life was spiraling out of control. In the late 1990s, she would end up becoming a born-again Christian and gave up her Hollywood and music career.
She would become a Christian motivational speaker and renounced the name of Vanity.
Vanity was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She was born of Polish, Jewish, German, African American, Hawaiian and Native American ancestry.

Wiz Khalifa still despises Kanye West but confirms that the feud between them is over. Last month, Kanye West launched into a Twitter meltdown dogging on Wiz after the rapper accused him of dissing his wife Kim Kardashian. Wiz was saying the actual meaning for KK is Khalifa kush.
In his rant, West managed to dog on Amber Rose and their son Sebastian.
Amber Rose clapped back and told her social media followers that Kim K. and Kanye do butt traffic and finger play. That set the junk food media ablaze. But after a few weeks of verbal snapping, it seems like the two ladies managed to work it like moms.

Grammy award winning rap duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are dropping a single that will have people talking. The duo released White Privilege II, a sequel to the White Privilege single from Macklemore's 2005 underground release The Language of My World.
The song gets the nation's attention.
The Huffington Post spotlights the single. Believe me that the song singles out Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus and numerous other White entertainers who embraced Black culture.
The duo's lyrics to the song touch on racial tensions, the Black Lives Matter movement and the toxicity of being passive in one's own white privilege. The nearly nine-minute song, which features Jamila Woods, points out that too often white people stand up against racial injustice when it is convenient for them.
The song also tackles the exploitation of black traditions, calling out Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea and Elvis for cultural appropriation. “We take all we want from black culture, but will we show up for black lives?" Macklemore, who's been accused of appropriation himself, raps.
In anticipation of the follow up to their smash album The Heist, the duo releases The Unruly Mess I've Made in February.
The song, which is free on iTunes, is the result of the artists' ongoing dialogue about race in Seattle and across the country as they seek to engage with and invest in black-led organizations like Black Lives Matter and Black Youth Project 100.
"[W]e will continue to find ways in which we can leverage our platform and network towards strengthening the work of organizers and initiatives framed by genuine racial and social equity," the artists said in a statement. "We wish to support direct organizing and be led by the expertise and experience of those on the front lines as we proceed."
Macklemore is passionate about #OscarsSoWhite and the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
He released the song to show solidarity to Jada Pinkett Smith.
Jada called upon a boycott of the Oscar Awards and it's managed to gain traction.
Some individuals in the industry have spoken against the boycott. Besides Janet Hubert, you have two others involved in the controversy. Gerald Molen and Charlotte Rumpling have called the boycott bullshit and blast #OscarsSoWhite as racist.
The civil war within the Cash Money camp seems to be over.
Lil' Wayne and Birdman patched things up for the time being. The two were on some bitter shit for almost a year now. They were trading insults online, in the studio and inside the courtroom.
Weezy claims that Cash Money stalled Tha Carter V from being released and he threatened to sue for royalties and a full release off the Cash Money/Young Money label. Mind you the Young Money label is Lil' Wayne's label but its a subsidiary of Cash Money and its under contract as well.
There's reports that Mack Maine arranged a meeting with Bryan "Birdman" and Ronald "Slim" Williams.
MTV News report that the two were spotted at a Cash Money reunion event. Back on New Year’s Eve, the pair reunited for a photo with the entire Cash Money squad hanging at a Drake show, which prompted some speculation that the troubles in their relationship — which includes lawsuits, thrown drinks and a tour bus shooting — had been settled.
This week, its confirmed that Birdman and Weezy stood on stage together, right next to each other, as Birdman explained the current state of their relationship.
"This is my motherf–king son," Birdman says in a video taken Sunday night, pointing to Weezy. "I'd die for him, I'ma live for him and I'll motherf–king kill for him. You heard me? That ain't gonna never change…it's YMCMB for life."

According to TMZ, Young Money president Mack Maine arranged for a phone call between Wayne and Birdman just hours before they met up at Drake’s New Year’s Eve party in Miami. They reportedly discussed their issues including the millions Birdman allegedly owes Wayne.
The two have “strong feelings” about squashing their beef. However, Wayne is not willing to dismiss his $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records unless they reach an agreement.
Mack Maine is being credited for initiating the idea of a settlement and brought Weezy and Baby together at Drake’s NYE party.
Meek Mill feud spreads past Drake and Future. He aims at the Unit's 50 Cent.
Meek Mill released a surprise EP in anticipation of his mixtape Dreamchasers 4. The mixtape has unleashed several subliminals aimed at Drake and Future. Seven months after the Great Feud of 2015, Meek Mill decided to go back into the studio and record a handful of tracks aimed at the Canadian entertainer and those associated around him.
Meek also took aim at another entertainer, one who is a media mogul whose recently struggled with his money.
Curtis got a broadside by Meek.
And Curtis decided to go hard on him. The Unit's leader has made it clear he's no fan of Rick Ross. I am guessing that Meek decided to come to defense of the rapper after 50 continued to taunt him on Rozay's legal situations.

50 Cent called Meek a "shithead" and said that his career was over. He went to social media saying that Meek better get his girlfriend Nicki Minaj pregnant and ask for child support.
When Meek released the 4 for 4 Mixtape, he released "Gave 'Em Hope" in which some of the lyrics targeted 50 as a rat. He also went through 50's feud with former ally Floyd Mayweather.

I see that it was clearly aimed at 50 Cent. Meek who is currently facing a bid in the iron college once again violates his probation by doing something that the judge told him not to do.
By posting on social media, he may have violated his term of conditions. But who knows what could happen! He knows he's fucked anyway.
What makes the feud so crazy, 50 Cent wasn't letting Meek off the hook. He went on to post a handful of direct shots at Meek. Matter of fact, there were nine mentions of Meek in a video.
