On Thursday, the International Criminal Court officially issued arrest warrants to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The controversial figure will be arrested if he dares travel to 124 ICC Member Nations.
The U.S. which is a non bidding member that could arrest Netanyahu but it won't.
President Joe Biden had all the opportunity to stop aiding Israel. He ignored the warning signs and cost him his reelection. It cost Vice President Kamala Harris her election. Biden took the Democrats with him. They still are digging in as well as the Republicans.
President-elect Donald J. Trump will continue on the support of Israel despite his "promise" to bring peace. The Arab American voters he won in Michigan and Wisconsin felt betrayed thanks to his appointments of pro Israeli lawmakers in his cabinet.
Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) secured another term. He will continue to push for a censorship law that equates any criticism of Zionism to antisemitism. It would punish companies, universities and prohibit government contracts to those who boycott Israel.
It is a test of free speech.

ICC pre-trial judges issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Netanyahu and his former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for charges of using starvation as a method of warfare as well as the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution and other inhumane acts.
The court found that there were reasonable grounds that the Israeli siege of Gaza “created conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of part of the civilian population”.
With a few exceptions, U.S. politicians from both major parties expressed outrage at the court’s decision, with many questioning the court’s legitimacy.
So when they issued arrest warrants for Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin, Biden and Congress praised it and pushed for expelling the Russians from all events globally.
Russia has been banned from the Olympics, Eurovision, the World Cup, Miss Universe, G20 and every global event. American, British, French and Canadian companies left Russia for good.
As of February 2024, 124 states are members of the Court. Other states that have not become parties to the Rome Statute include India, Indonesia, and China. On May 6, 2002, the United States, having previously signed the Rome Statute formally withdrew its signature and indicated that it did not intend to ratify the agreement.
United States policy concerning the ICC has varied widely. The Clinton administration signed the Rome Statute in 2000, but did not submit it for Senate ratification. The George W. Bush administration, the U.S. administration at the time of the ICC's founding, stated that it would not join the ICC. The Obama administration subsequently re-established a working relationship with the Court as an observer.
