Auto parts retailer Advance Auto Parts is on the decline. |
Y'all voted for this.
This is the results of Joe Biden and soon Donald J. Trump.
We can expect our country to experience decline.
Advance Auto Parts, the country's third largest auto parts retailer announced it will close up to 800 stores in the coming months. Advance has 4,200 stores in the country.
The announcement came with the release of the company's third-quarter report on Thursday, when it reported an adjusted loss of 4 cents per share, compared to a loss of $1.19 one year ago.
The car part supplier's gross profit increased 11% in the third quarter this year compared to the nearly 37% increase in last year's third quarter. Executives said the drop in profits will force the closure of more than 700 locations by the middle of 2025.
Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, it serves both professional installer and do it yourself (DIY) customers. As of December 2023, Advance operated 4,935 stores and 321 Worldpac branches in the United States and Canada. The company also serves 1,245 independently owned Carquest-branded stores in the U.S., Mexico, The Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, and British Virgin Islands.
